Fantastic experience: There have been many changes at this office over the last few years, and this last change is definitely for the better! I can't say enough good things about Arden Premier Dentistry . The entire team is kind, caring, compassionate, and fun! Yes—fun! They are truly changing the perception of dentistry. Dr. Anna explained everything in detail, gave me options, and allowed me to make informed decisions about my own health. She understands that this is my body, and the team understands that I am not just a mouth with teeth! All of the staff are welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Skylar, Witley, Rachael, Crystal, and Dr. Anna are the best of the best!

Negative experience: Called to get their rate for a standard new patient appt. Would not give me a price point and told me they could the day of the appointment! What is happening with dentists these days? Appears deceptive. For All I know they could be judging people by what they wear and the color of their skin with how secretive they are about their pricing. Do better!

Fantastic experience: I truly appreciate the entire staff at Arden Premier. I don't have the best teeth, but I appreciate how Crystal and Madison pay attention to the details and really look out for what is best for me and my teeth. The entire staff is very pleasant and makes me feel as comfortable as I could possibly feel being inside a dentist office.

Tooth pain is NEVER a viable option for anything positive but Rachael(spelling?), Dr Madison and the ENTIRE Staff exude so much joy and Positivity that the angry nerves don’t stand a chance ruining the day! THANK YOU ALL for being AWESOME! I had two fillings and a crown(temporary) a couple of weeks ago, returning today for the permanent crown installation. Along the way, frequent days of pain became the norm. Long story short, these Professionals have me happy and feeling GRRRRRREAT! Oh…the only thing missing from this Environment is (see photo).

However, the front office treats you like family and being seen by Crystal, my Dental Hygienists, is more like hanging out with a friend. Fantastic experience: Hi, I just needed to post this before I leave the parking lot of Arden Premier Dentistry… let me just say this was the BEST experience I have ever had. I came to do a root canal on my #7 (front tooth second to the right if you’re looking in a mirrior OR second to the left if you’re looking at a person) for better reference to those who aren’t into dentition. I have had a prior root canal a couple years ago from a softball to the face and the prior office did not care to make sure I was comfortable. However, Dr. Madison Crumley and the assistant (I think Alicia from what I could see on her face shield) were phenomenal. I came in to a warm welcoming I checked in by Miss Skylar Then seated to beautiful 90s music playing. Dr. Madison Crumley sang her way as she numbed me with some Anesthetic. I did not feel a thing the entirety of my treatment. I will be coming back for my crown placement. So if you’re looking for a Dentist this is it! Love you all at Arden Premier Dentistry! Fantastic experience: I have been going to Arden Premier Dentistry since I moved here in 2019. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. But my favorite person is my hygienist Crystal Stroup. She is so professional and always explains her procedures. She is also very personable. I just recommended to my neighbor she should go to this office just for Crystal. The dentists have changed since I’ve been going there but Crystal is my constant.

Fantastic experience: I needed a dentist ASAP due to an intense toothache. They were able to fit me in at Arden Premier and gave a thorough exam, including a high tech camera,.and X-rayed the problem area. The staff was so friendly and competent. They explained options I had for treatment given that I have a primary dentist in Hilton Head. Doctor Crumley was great she is very knowledgeable and compassionate. My toothache was resolved and I have made Arden Premier my dentist while we reside in Asheville.

Fantastic experience: Ladies at check in were very nice and pleasant. Very efficient. I didn't have to wait long at all to go back. Gini did my cleaning and she is awesome!! Very nice and personable. Remembered me from last 6 months. I met Dr. Hickman and he was very thorough. Showed me pics of teeth that could potentially give me problems in the future. At checkout I didn't wait at all. There was someone checking out and Valerie told me to come to front window and she would check me out. Very good appointment.

I've been very satisfied with all the care I've received from each one. Staff is friendly, cleaning and exams are thorough. So glad the hygienist stayed!

Fantastic experience: I had a great visit. The front office staff got me checked in quickly and were so polite and kind. Angie had me laughing and at ease, took the time to explain what she was doing. She also told hilarious jokes! Dr Crumley was so kind and took her time showing me what she was seeing when she was looking at my X-rays, and took the time to explain what certain numbers meant as she called them out. Positive experience: Really didn't know much about this practice -- but I read reviews and they were positive. I previously had a bad experience with my former dentist -- not the dentist but the surprise charges that came from the front office. Arden Premier was compassionate and did not push me into any procedures. They explained everything and were thorough. The front office was great as well! I will continue to have dental work completed at this office.

Negative experience: We found Arden Premier Dentistry by using our insurance company's in-network directory. After my husband's first visit we were told that they are no longer in-network and we had to pay much more for the service provided. Come to find out, our insurance coverage is the same for out-of-network dentists. Amongst other billing mistakes, plus the humiliation and shaming experienced by the dentist in this office- it was an overall horrific experience. I would avoid this practice if you can.

Fantastic experience: I felt confidence when going to see Dr. Meinhold and her staff. Dr. Planer who has taken over for the now retired Meinhold has retained the staff and has brought with her broad experience that has energized the practice. I felt an immediate confidence during my first her and have since needed a crown and a replacement night guard which has further validated that confidence. All in all a wonderful transition.(2017) The torch was recently passed to Dustin Hickman who has proven to be a worthy successor. I have had three encounters - crown for an implant, fillings for front teeth, and cleaning/consultation earlier this week. He and his staff have been excellent - from front desk to hygienist to assistant. He has roots in this area and I look forward to him continuing as my dentist for many years to come. (4/16/2021) Most recent visit, June 7, 2022, was excellent as usual - both front desk and procedure.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hickman is a very good patient focused dentist, one of the best i've ever known. The staff is very friendly and customer focused as well, I love them all. I will not hesitate to recommend Arden Premier Denistry to my family and friends .

Negative experience: Did not enjoy my experience at this practice. Called to make a cleaning appointment as a new patient, and was advised that I have to make two appointments: one for an exam to know what kind of cleaning I needed, and one for the cleaning. I had never heard of this two-visit approach before, and I also explained that it was an hour round trip, and that I wasn’t going to be in town long to come back a second time. Although I moved forward with scheduling just the exam, I called back after reconsidering and was able to make an appointment for a cleaning. When I arrived, the hygienist was out, no one called to let me know. So I just had the exam, which, determined that I needed a deep cleaning. I took time off work to squeeze in a the second trip. Although it was a ‘deep’ clean, the entire process took 30 minutes, at most. All told it was $170, after insurance. Two stars because hygienist was top notch! Would not recommend the practice however.

This is the best dental service I have ever had in the U.S. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, starting from the front desk service to the moment I walked out of the door, I can see how great Dr. Hickman leads this professional team. They are doing a more wonderful job than what they say on their website. All the staff are creating a comfortable and client-oriented environment. Dr. Hickman is very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything I needed to know and did a fantastic dental job very efficiently and professionally. His assistant Melissa was also very nice and professional. She kept trying to create a caring and relaxing environment to help me feel not that nervous. As an Asian, I understand that maybe it is a little bit hard for us to find a totally satisfactory dental service because of the cultural and language differences. I have had some less than ideal dental experiences in the U.S. in the past, but a good listener and a caring and professional team can provide high quality dental service for anyone no matter which race you may be. If you are looking for a high standard and quality dental service, I highly recommend this place. Once again, thanks Dr. Hickman and your great team for doing such an amazing job.

Negative experience: Terribly unhappy. I had a small chip on my molar and the dentist assured me he could just shave a little off to smoothen it. He said it would take a couple of seconds and have no repercussions. I agreed since the chip was slightly sharp to my tongue. After he shaved off my tooth he said the molar was extremely cavity prone now and it required a filling. I had gotten an xray before he shaved my tooth, so he should've known if I would need a filling regardless. All of this and then I had to pay out of pocket even though the front desk said insurance would cover it. Terrible dentist don't come here

Negative experience: I am very unsatisfied with my recent experiences at this dental office. I’ve been going here for 2 years and have had 3 different dentists, very inconsistent. Never left feeling like it was outstanding service either. The last cleaning I had was an absolute joke by Maria. She got the toothpaste in my hair and kept spraying my face. I thought it was her first cleaning ever and it felt so rushed being scheduled as the last appt. Then I scheduled to have two fillings done within two weeks following that cleaning. Maria was the hygienist again and she was shoving a mouthpiece in my mouth right at the start of the appt. I started to feel the corner of my lip starting to burn as I’m paying $100 for the two fillings. I go to my car, take my mask off & wiped off skin… I go back inside to let the dentist know that my face was burning and I did not know why. He put vasoline on it, apologized a lot, and kept saying “thank you for being so understanding.” He even added that I may have sensitive skin… it was an acid burn from a product he was using. I had a headache all weekend following the fillings due to my bite being slightly off and readjusting. I contacted the office to ask for compensation for the recent events and having my bite fixed. They did not offer me any compensation and when he filed down my fillings he told me that the acid burn was “healing well” & that it happens all the time. I will not be returning nor recommend this place to anybody.

Fantastic experience: I have never been afraid of much with the exception of (as most people) Dental procedures. I guess this stems back to old barbaric practices as a child. Let me be the first to say I feel great to have overcome this, the entire staff at Arden Premier Dentistry with there calming and caring professional care and basically pain free procedures are the best. I won't say I look forward to continued treatment but I can say I will no longer have that fear. I know I'm in great hands. This team really puts the patients concerns first. Positive experience: The office staff and hygienist are amazing. They are kind and helpful, and took time to explain my insurance and the treatments that I needed. The office received a 3 star only because they balanced the Dr. He was condescending, rude and argued with me (the patient) about his credentials versus my specialist over a condition that I have. I'm surprised anyone else can fit in the room with his ego. The Dr that was there until March 2020 was amazing - this new guy not so much.

Fantastic experience: Excellent office. We recently moved from the South Florida area and needed a new dentist. We chose this office by chance and I’m so glad we did. The staff are so friendly and caring. Dr Hickman is fantastic. My husband and I have pretty bad teeth and I have never felt more comfortable. Never once did he shame me or make me feel bad.
