Fantastic experience: These guys are always patient and sweet with my children. We bring 4 in semi-annually. They book them back-to-back to make things easier for me. If one of them has a pressing issue, they've been good about getting us on the cancelation list to work them in sooner. We've just had wonderful experiences all around with ABC dental!

Negative experience: My son's appointment got canceled on the date of his appointment because the hygienist is off. Reschedule the appointment, and the office said they are completely full till the end of the year - December. Because of their problems, we need to wait for another 8 months. This is insane.

Positive experience: Always a great experience. Only thing I would change would be their referral system. Whether a child has Medicaid or not if there is a need for braces etc, a referral should still be given, a parent shouldn’t have to ask for it.

They got my son in for an emergency tooth removal on a days notice, and he was very relaxed the whole time even though it was his first procedure. There is a tv on the ceiling that they can watch while getting work done. Love this place.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my kids here since my oldest was about maybe 6 years old (he is about to be 26)and he had bad experience with the place he was going at the time. They have always been excellent with the kids. Never once made them uncomfortable in anyway. So if you don't already bring your little ones here then call and give them a try.

Fantastic experience: Great pediatric dentist office!! They called my sons back at their appointment time. There was no waiting even though they are very busy. Took great care of both of them and explained everything to me in great detail after the appointment was over. One of my sons needs a couple fillings and it will be a few months before they can get him back in. Which can be expected and I understand. Both of the ladies at the front desk and the hygienists were absolutely exceptional. I am so glad I found this office!!!!! Thank you all so very much

Negative experience: The treatment is good but the scheduling is terrible they are way over capacity. My daughter has 1 cavity their next available to fix is 6 months away. And her 6month followup cleaning is scheduled 10 months out. Unacceptable in my opinion.

Positive experience: Office experience was great. Just a little disappointed that we waited almost 6 months to be seen to address crowded teeth. All she got was teeth cleaned and an x-ray. She was told to try and wiggle the tooth loose herself. An appt for extraction for Mar 2024 if she didn't get it out herself. They also referred her to an orthodontist. Disappointed that she is in pain from the crowding and there seems to be no urgency to resolve the issue.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff. My toddler is terrified of the dentist after a traumatic previous experience with someone else. The staff at ABC Dental are patient and understanding, they help her to feel comfortable and will even be creative to work around her fears and complete her checkup. I can't imagine taking her anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: My kids love going to the dentist, they get so excited to go to ABC dental because they are so nice and make everything fun. They have no problem with parents going back with their child, and because the regular 6 month exams all happen in an open area I don't have any issues with my kids all going at once ( even my 3 & 4 year olds). They lay down under the bright light and get to wear the "special sunglasses" so the light doesn't bother them. My kids get so excited to pick a new toothbrush, they have disney princess, bluey, elmo for the little kids and different colors for the big kids. They are so quick too, before you know it your all done. Then they get to pick a prize out of the treasure box. ABC is the best and I recommend them to any parent.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff! Very informative to my children about what they were doing and teaching them all they needed to know about dental health in a way they can understand it. Even though this was the first/ bad news kind of appointment. All kids have a cavity from poor flossing skills. They were very kind in offering ways to properly floss their teeth and knew a lot of great information for better results with 3 small toddlers. So thankful they were able to except my children's Medicaid. I looked for a dentist for a month and was about to give up when these guys told me they took their Medicaid and was accepting new patients. Even better, they was able to get them in the following week. Definitely the best dentist office I've ever been in my life!!

Negative experience: I was just turned away because we were 10 minutes late. Now we have to wait for another appointment in October. Terrible. We will not be back. I understand that we were running behind but that's the same amount of time or if longer that we would be waiting in the waiting room before we would have been seen.

Fantastic experience: Took the kids to Dr Denton today at abc dental. It's so cool because he was my dentist and their fathers dentist too when we were growing up.very clean everyone is friendly and genuinely cares for the children/teens they see. No cavity club is my favorite because the kids love seeing their pictures hanging on the wall from the 6 months prior. I've never had to wait long, the kids actually enjoy getting their teeth cleaned, they take the time to explain to little ones what their tools do that their going to be using and they have cool sunglasses so the light don't bother their eyes. The selection of new toothbrushes their gifted at each visit is always the kids favorite characters and while u get the next appointment scheduled the child gets a prize from the box. Absolutely love abc dental and am grateful for Dr Denton's practice. He may be the only dentist that takes Medicaid for kids but if you go see for yourself, their isn't a better dental team for the job. I think that just goes to show how much he really cares.

Fantastic experience: ABC Dental has been amazing to my family. We recently experienced a very bad situation at another pediatric dentist in Asheville and we could not be more happy with switching to ABC Dental. They are so patient and kind to my kids, I have a three year old and six year old. My six year old had to get some caps and the Dentist was amazing with her. My daughter doesn’t hate the dentist anymore she is excited to go. I give ABC Dental a 5 out of 5!!

Fantastic experience: During my son's regular checkup, the dentist found a tooth that needed pulled. Due to a being a very busy office, they scheduled his appointment for 3 weeks later. A week after his original appointment his tooth pain got so bad he couldn't sleep and was struggling with the pain at school. I called and they made a spot for him to be seen..he had an abscess!! They gave him antibiotics and put him on the cancellation list. 2 weeks before his appointment, they had a cancellation and worked him in. They took such good care of him and made sure he was taken care of, even though they were super busy!!!
