Positive experience: Unfortunately, my experience was brief. I paused for a moment in one of their parking spaces, and although the lot was clearly marked patients only, I pulled into their vacant lot to wait for an elderly veteran visiting the office next door. The pleasant woman told me I couldn't use their empty lot unless the disabled veteran was in their office. I agreed to leave their empty lot and wait elsewhere. It came across as petty since the lot was empty.

Fantastic experience: Having been seeing Dr Lopez since she started this practice and she is awesome. Very caring and thorough. For my last appointment a cleaning, Matthew was the hygienist and he used a new piece of equipment called Aero Flow(?) that was very fast and I highly recommend it.

They even opened up the clinic just for me to do an emergency extraction! Fantastic experience: Awsome experience! Went in to get a crown and in a smidgen over 2 hours from the start to finish, I walked out with a perfectly fitting crown. One visit and it completely finished! Dr J is fantastic and the complimenting software and in house CNC crown machining is amazing. And to top it off, absolutely no residual pain or pain mediation needed!!

Fantastic experience: I had to get a lot of work done recently after neglecting my teeth and dealing with Periodontal issues. I visited for multiple appointments. From the start everyone from Laurel Park Dentistry was always been polite and courteous. They are all very professional and always able to answer any questions. They are also very compassionate when it comes to the difficult parts of being at the dentist like the needles for numbing. It was expensive but well worth it for the experience and the results that I have received. Thank you to everyone involved! Overall I would definitely recommend Laurel Park Dentistry to anyone considering a new dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Had another wonderful visit today. It’s amazing to me what Dr. Lopez and Grace were able to do this time. What a difference from getting a crown today from past years. Everything is computerized and they make the crown that fits perfectly while you wait. No more temporary crowns. Wow! I was also there a couple weeks ago for my cleaning and really enjoyed meeting Martin. I’m already looking forward to my next cleaning with him. So glad he has joined Laurel Park Dentistry. Fantastic experience: Just wanted to add some details here to my five-star review. I've had the pleasure of being a patient of Laurel Park Dentistry for about 2 years now. The dental hygienists and assistants are all top-notch. The support staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm a regular patient of Dr. Lopez but I've been occasionally seen by Dr. Jiamachello. They are both phenomenal dentists and wonderful people. And, by the way, they identified a lump that turned out to be early-stage salivary gland cancer, which has since been remediated. What more can I say? They're the best!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Laurel Park Dentistry for a little over 6 months. In addition to routine cleanings, I have also had major work done including several crowns and cavity fillings. The staff has always been very concerned about my comfort. Also, I was amazed at the technology they had (including the ability to make permanent crowns in-house instead of sending the impression to an outside lab and having to return in a few weeks to have the permanent crown installed). Dr. J and his assistants are all very caring and competent. Finally, since I had quite a lot of work done, before anything was done, they gave me an accurate estimate of the cost. They also have a service where I was able to use a payment plan to pay for the work over time. In conclusion, I am continually impressed by the excellent experience and care that I have received at Laurel Park Dentistry. I am so grateful to have found this wonderful dental office.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my recent cleaning. I had Martin as my dental hygienist and he did a great job. Most hygienists can be heavy handed and not take into consideration each persons sensitivity cleaning their teeth. This was not the case. I was treated with great care and respect the whole time. My teeth feel very clean with little discomfort caused!

That being said, Matthew B. at Laurel Park Dentistry was hands down the most professional, informative, caring hygienist I have ever had, and he is very proficient at his job. He was able to maneuver his dental tools without any discomfort to me. Dr. Lopez the dentist was engaging, professional and also very caring. Negative experience: When I went for my first visit as a new patient they said they weren't able to contact my insurance. I got on the phone & made contact right away. They guaranteed me it would be a 40 minute visit since my driver needed to be back home. It was twice as long. They needed to take more x-rays & forgot to put the apron of protection on me. I didn't want a partial plate made yet since I was doing well with the teeth I had. Since it was late & I needed to get to my driver I said send me my results. The next week they sent me a letter dismissing me as a patient. No one as ever heard of that! I guess they decided they couldn't make money off of me. I paid them $325 up front so it wasn't an insurance problem. They are incompetent!

Here's how good they are; my greedy dental insurance would not negotiate with them, so I will be paying them directly and filing with my insurance company. Because Laurel Park is no longer in their network my reimbursement will be less. They are that good.

Negative experience: Lousy Practice Management. As existing patients, my wife and I have visited LP Dentistry every six months for the past couple of years. Today, my wife drove 40 minutes for her routine cleaning appointment only to be surprised by a required additional $400 fee to do X-Ray's before they'd clean her teeth. Charging us $52 for the last minute cancellation. Not transparent, beware.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lopez is not only incredibly warm, person-centered, & skilled, but she & her hygienists are some of the only healthcare professionals who still wear face masks in their practice. For patients like me who still seek to prevent Covid infection and spread, this layer of protection is significant and truly appreciated. Care recommendations are always personalized and I have only had good experiences here!

Negative experience: If a provider fails to verify insurance properly, they should be held responsible. LPD scheduled my routine cleaning outside of the appropriate window for my insurance coverage, did not verify my insurance prior to my appointment (per their office policy) and I was stuck with a $200 bill for a basic service that my insurance would have covered. We spoke on the phone about this matter and they did nothing to correct their mistake. LPD’s response to making this mistake was to send us to debt collection. Typically when a service provider makes a mistake, a customer should not be charged. This issue could have been easily resolved and my appointment rescheduled, had their office properly verified my insurance ahead of my appointment. Patient beware - make sure your insurance has been properly verified. LPD is receiving this review due to lack of accountability and poor billing practices.

Fantastic experience: LP Dentistry are awesome and I had a great experience with them. I have been seeing Dr J for years, even before he established his new practice, and he was always great to me. I remember I once had some pain after hours, and the service notified him; and then he promptly contacted me and took care of the issue. And this last visit, I’d really let my teeth go, and he got me all straight and looking super-handsome again! And his DA Grace also rocked, was really sweet and did great work. I like and trust this practice 100%, and I highly recommend. You won’t be sorry! :)

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly and professional. Clear and open with directions and work needed. Dr. J took a few minutes extra to do an extraction gently, which prevented breakage on a vey damaged tooth. Excellent services provided, definitely recommend.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient at this location since 2017. I’ve seen two different owners and have an overall pleasant experience here. Unfortunately my wallet feels taken advantage of as of late. I recently had appointment that cost me $269, only to have an bite-wing X-ray on one side, when I specifically went in for a cavity filling that they knew I needed and recommended in a prior visit. Then I was given a seemingly unnecessary referral to an oral surgeon (before they’d fill my cavity) which cost me a $100. $369 spent in 24hrs. They wanted to see if I needed my wisdom teeth pulled (estimated $4400) when I have no issue with them and would require the oral surgeons to break my jaw (which was previously broken in an accident 11 years ago along with several teeth). The oral surgeon stated he was confused as to why I was even there since his offices X-rays showed that it wasn’t medically urgent or necessary to have them removed and I clearly didn’t want them removed. He stated that the X-ray done at laurel park should have showed them the same thing. I felt a bit silly sitting there as he told me this. Then the office scheduled me to come back next week to repeat the x-rays PLUS the charges for a cleaning and now 2 fillings (which would be just north of $800). I asked to have some of the $$$ previously spent on X-rays to be credited towards my upcoming visit since my previous visit yielded no new or useful information (they already new I need a cavity filled), but the office manager declined. I thought it was a justified ask. I have no issues paying for treatment, when treatment is given. I will be seeking a new office. Dr. Lopez is a lovely DDS and very friendly, as are the ladies that work the front desk. I feel that I must leave based on principle.

Fantastic experience: Changing dentists is never dun, but moving to the area forces me to find a new dentist. Have been very pleased with Laurel Park Dentistry. From routine cleaning to having a crown replaced, all went well and your comfort is taken seriously.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a couple of years now. The practice, as a whole, is filled with nice people. All the hygienists are pleasant. The front desk women are helpful and won't keep you waiting to check in or out. The doctors both have excellent bedside manner. I was really unhappy with how my last dentist's office was ran - so many rude people working there. This practice is the opposite! If you're looking for genuinely good people to support, and don't want to be kept waiting long after your appointment was supposed to start, this is the place for you. Their on-time approach shows how much they value their patients.
