Negative experience: I would strongly caution anyone considering this dental office to be very careful before receiving services here, particularly when it comes to their cancellation and payment policies. In my experience, this office seems far more concerned about collecting money than showing compassion or understanding toward its patients. They charge extremely high cancellation fees, even when someone is dealing with a serious medical emergency and circumstances completely outside of their control. I understand that dental offices need cancellation policies, but there should also be reasonable consideration for genuine emergencies. Patients deserve to be treated like human beings, not simply as a source of revenue. Before scheduling or agreeing to any services here, I strongly recommend asking for all cancellation fees, financial policies, and charges in writing so you know exactly what you could be responsible for. My experience left me feeling that money was prioritized over patient care and compassion.

The staff was very kind and supportive when I called and needed immediate care. I was seen very quickly that day and my first service was able to be scheduled the next day. I have been grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to me by the staff and the various dental professionals that have helped me get started on the necessary repairs. Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dentist when I moved to Federal Way and a coworker recommended Dr. Beatty’s office. They are awesome! Aside from excellent dental care, with a detailed initial exam going over history and really deep diving into what’s going on in the mouth, they’re really interested in their patients as human beings, attentive to who we are and what’s going on our lives. Attentive and empathetic to whatever we might be dealing with. I’ve mostly been very lucky with the dental practices I’ve gone to, but this is definitely my favorite!

Fantastic experience: I had been having a tooth ache for several days and when I called my regular dentist he was not available. I called my daughter's dentist and they had me come in the next day. Everyone was so welcoming and Dr. Walker made me feel comfortable, was funny and knew his "stuff". I highly recommend Dr. Beaty, DDS, Family and Cosmetic Dentistry office. My appointment was for a cleaning and possible future dental work, but I also liked the fact that they offer cosmetic procedures done there too (simple to extensive)! Fantastic experience: Dr. Walker is one of the best dentists I’ve had the pleasure of working with and teaching. He is a skilled provider who takes the most conservative treatment option possible. If you’re looking to save your teeth and have them restored biomimeticly, it’ll be hard to find someone better.

Negative experience: I originally gave a 5 star because they asked for me to leave a review and I still had more fillings to do.. but after today me and my family will never be back. I had a cracked filling that’s been cracked since November and they knew. I’ve since got other fillings done throughout the year….and each time I’ve brought attention to this hole in my tooth where my filling used to be. Dr. Walks in after my X-rays this morning…attitude X1000…. And says it was never there and this is what happens when we wait three months to get it fixed (I have a cancerous tumor on my thyroid that I’ve been getting treatment for and focusing on, and I let them know there was going to be a big gap between my next filling) ….. I correct him and tell him it’s been gone the whole time aka since November and I know because every appointment we’ve talked about this gaping hole in my tooth…I hurt his feelings with that so he gets even more of an attitude and can’t just take the L and move on… he then points to a X-ray from May 2024 and says “no look it wasn’t there this past May ” (he forgot I know how to read a time stamp)…I go with it and let it go because I decided to be the bigger person and not embarrass him . He then knocks on my tooth a couple times and then wants to check if it’s still alive with some cold touch..I panic and asked if we could not… he slams his hands to his sides gets up and says I’m refusing treatment and I won’t let him work so I get up to leave. He continues saying the same thing over and over again while standing walkway and then in the hallway as I’m walking away. 0/10

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist. I know that sounds strange...but it is true! I have had some extensive dental work done here, including deep cleanings, Invisiline, and several fillings replaced with crowns. Dr. Beatty and Dr. Walker are THE best dentists, and their staff is incredible. They are warm, supportive and truly care about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Walker and the staff at this office have offered the best care I’ve ever encountered in any medical setting. My wife has chronic health issues, PTSD which makes health care complicated for her but they have been amazing at every turn. It means so much to find such amazing care. I would especially recommend this office to people who have had a hard time finding good care or who have had bad experiences elsewhere.

He listened assessed my situation discussed the initial next steps for me, he is genuine, cares for his clients created an action plan for next visit(s). So impressed with DDS Beaty, made me feel important, comfortable to come back not just for me and my children also referring others whom had a hard time with other Dentists especially when it comes to detailed billing. Fantastic experience: When you find a dentist office like Dr. Beaty and Dr. Walker you have found your dentists for life. Every single person that works there from the Doctors to the hygienist to the front desk ladies are friendly and compassionate. Dr. Walker takes his time to explain to me what is happening with my teeth and the procedures needed to correct the issue. Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10 would recommend! In all seriousness, this office is amazing! I never liked going to the dentist but something about this place changes that. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Walker and knew right away I was in great hands. Dr. Walker is very knowledgeable, and friendly. He’s clear and coherent in his communication while also being personable, which makes me feel at ease. I was always terrified of going to the dentists until I met him. Now im actually excited to return for my next appointments with him. But all in all this entire building is staffed with exceptional people from the reception/ clerical admins at the front, to the hygienists and assistants, to the doctors themself. Great care, great service, and great people.

Dr Walker did an especially good job recently on my 7 yo’s three fillings. Had really good bedside manners with my boy… joked with him, made him feel at ease, made everything smooth and easy.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING CARE! I woke up in the middle of the night with horrendous tooth pain, and I called first thing in the morning. Kayla was so helpful, talking to Dr. Beaty, getting me the scheduled appointment I needed, and knowing I was in pain, making all the phone calls and putting all the info. of where to go and what I needed to do in an email. She saved me that day! Thank you so much!

Negative experience: At first my experience with this office was great. I felt at home, this was because the great customer service from the office staff. its been approximately 6 months since my last visit and I find it odd that all of a sudden a fee comes through all this time later with the explaination being “your insurance doesn’t cover fluoride”. I asked multiple times about whether the treatment ment was necessary and the response I got was “ your insurance covers it why not”. Being persuaded out of my will… the attempt was made on 2 different occasions. once when I tried to cancel service (cancelation fee $60 per hour). Second time was the fluoride , a service I didnt really want but persuaded to. The cost for service is higher than that of other competitors. The quality of work is good. Pay close attention to your bill, confirm and verify or you have the possibility of being taken advantage of.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Office, had several treatments/extractions done here over the years. Staff is great at communication, planning, and flexibility. Always explaining procedures and financing options clearly and effectively and seemingly always being able to get me in a bit earlier for my appointments! Dr. Beaty was amazing at my most recent appointment, managing to salvage one of my broken crowns. Saving me costs on extraction and an implant. Can never recommend this office enough, and plan on making it my mainstay so long as I'm living in the Seattle area!

Negative experience: Set up an appointment for today, all information was sent from my former dentist. I show up today for an appointment, only to be told that they DO NOT accept my insurance. With all the information they received, including my insurance, why even keep the appointment scheduled? Instead they tell me all about their plans they have and the costs. Just a money grabbing provider, personally I would NOT recommend anybody here, especially after I drove in to an appointment where nothing was done. Thanks for nothing!

I spent the most time with Caley, and found her to be very patient and kind. An hour went by like it was nothing. She explained all of the procedures she was doing, and she helped me understand my dental history, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Beaty is professional and very thorough. He seems to have a lot of knowledge, and he also seems to truly care about the health of his patients. He addressed all of my concerns, and I felt more heard and understood by him than I have with most of my previous dentists. I am honestly looking forward to future visits and, with the help of your team, to getting my dental health back on track. Thank you Dr. Beaty's office staff for the above-and-beyond care you provided me today.

Fantastic experience: Drew Beaty dentist is a great place! I was pleasantly pleased from the parking lot to front desk. Warm greeting and nice introduction to give a short tour of the place. Staff are very friendly as well as the doctor. I had a concern of a tooth I had addressed with my previous dentist and was informed everything "looked" good. My first visit the dentist was able to see my concern and try to figure a way to fix it without me telling them everything I was concerned about. So happy someone recommended me here. Fantastic experience: The Best Dentist in the PNW 10 years running in my opionion. Where does one begin when attempting to shine a light on a group of beautiful and caring people? THE INTERNET AND FACEBOOK!!! I lost my filling on my rear moler over the 4th of July weekend 2024. I called Dr. Beaty's office on Monday morning and they managed to squeeze me in at the end of that same day. The entire staff came together as a team to share in the initial treatment and care until Dr. Beaty could work his magic. By the end of my less than an hour visit, I was fitted with a new filling and green light to take a pre-planned trip that would have had to be cancelled had they not shown me the prompt and compassionate care they did. This office of professionals has always made my wife and I feel like family, 10 years and counting. Kudos to the great people at this office that help make it a consistent, and perennial "dentist of the year" in the puget sound!
