Fantastic experience: The office staff was outstanding ! They were with me through the dental process and made sure that I was comfortable , through out the whole procedures ! I was very happy with the fine work , and the caring staff . You could not ask for a better staff anywhere !

Fantastic experience: What a joy to be accommodated by Dr. Amanda Huang and her team at the Art of the Smiles Dental Office! I had recently moved to Federal Way and had an urgent dental issue crop up. I was frantically calling around to be seen quickly and, after being told by a dentist in another office that they couldn't do anything, I was divinely led to the Art of the Smiles. Upon walking in, I was met with calmness, kindness, and understanding by Katie and Mariah in the front office, and they expeditiously worked me in to be seen and treated. Dr. Huang, and her back office staff of Amandeep and Fianna, were caring, competent and compassionate as they expertly attended to my dental concern. It was apparent that Dr. Huang's influence sets the tone for her staff, all of whom are lovely human beings, dedicated, happy and efficient in their roles.. I am so grateful for them and I know for sure that the Art of the Smiles Dental Office is my office of choice.

Negative experience: I watched the staff and doctors disrespect this beautiful black woman because they chipped her tooth. She said she wasnt comfortable being seen by the doctor because of how she was being treated. They threatened her that if she made a google review that they would not correct their mistake. I'm sure they are going to respond pleading their case, but I saw exactly what happened. That woman was not rude in any way, some people need culture training. The woman had proof that they chipped her tooth and they were very disrespectful to her. I will not return and I hope that lady reports this place. The front desk lady snapped at me for telling the woman that I wouldnt want to be seen after being treated that way either.

Negative experience: I came in for a supposed to be free consultation and then got told I had to pay 400 to get an estimate when other clinics do it all for free. When I tried to get a refund and I got told “I have to pay my workers” which I understand but I was very unhappy with my visit I wanted a full refund. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for ortho they charge 2-3k more than places in the area

Fantastic experience: I recently had an unexpected dental emergency and visited Art of the Smile, federal way, for urgent care. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist Katie and the other girl sorry I forgot your name greeted me warmly, and I immediately felt very comfortable. I am very picky when it comes to dentists and have switched a few times. Dr Amanda Huang, is the best, so I won't be switching again. She is skillful and very knowledgeable about everything, Aman, who also did my X rays and some cleaning was great. This office is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and so kind. All the staff members are fantastic professionals. Their Hygienist is excellent and very gentle I like the "vibe" of the office. The staff at Art of the Smile went above and beyond to ensure that I received the care I needed. They make me feel so comfortable that I didn’t feel like I needed it. I will recommend the Art of the Smile team to everyone that needs good quality care and has dental anxiety like me! Thank you so much Dr Huang

Fantastic experience: I walked into this office on a whim after breaking my tooth. I had called around to multiple offices and been told if I wanted to be seen I’d have to come in first thing in the morning and wait for an evaluation if there happened to be an opening and then I could get scheduled for repair in January… so I walked into this office with low expectations just because of all my previous calls and the ladies were so friendly and they were able to get me in the next day for an evaluation. They called me the morning of my appointment and told me if I could come in early the doctor would possibly have time to do my repair as well. I came in early, saw the assistant for my x-rays and then the doctor came in and told me what was going on. She gave me a short term solution with a long-term option as well. Everyone was so kind and explained everything so well. I was very happy with my entire experience here.

Fantastic experience: Got referral from orthodontics Dr. Bush to check out the dentist before doing braces. Dr. Huang and her staff did a great job cleaning my teeth and offer her recommendation for my grinding issue. Definitely chose her my dentist. Thank you.

Negative experience: Hey, this is absolutely not fair! It should not be allowed for family members to write reviews if they do not comment on their own experience. If that is the case, I will write a review that my sister Ms Wang did not have a good experience with Dr Huang. She came home and complained that Dr Huang was not friendly and seemed to be stressed and did not smile at all. She told me that she would not go back there again. It does not seem right that this Art of the Smiles dental office is trying to increase number of good reviews by accepting reviews from people who did not even see this dentist Dr Huang. Isn't this right? If you agree with me, please like my review!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr Huang on and off for 15 years or more. I was originally a patient when her clinic was in North Seattle, and when she moved to federal way, I lost touch. Who would ever go to Federal Way? We'll, years later I came crawling back when I couldn't find the right dentist. Art of the Smiles is a small operation, so everything is very straightforward. They are totally my dentist now. Dr Huang is great. She is an excellent dentist, and is totally up to date with the latest technology. I recently got a partial denture made plus an implant placed. They digitally scan everything, so the denture fit PERFECTLY. And the implant placement was very quick. Besides this, and most important to me, is that Dr Huang will discuss in detail what our options are for each situation, and show me X-rays, etc. I really love this! She is the best! Also the assistants are excellent. I also want to mention the front desk folks were very helpful to me when I was trying to understand dental insurance. My brain basically doesn't do insurance, and they (Katie?) were a huge help directing me to the correct policy. All around 5 star place!. Federal Way isn't so remote after all, and the light rail station will drop you off just blocks away very soon.

Fantastic experience: My wife had a tooth that needed some cosmetic work done before our oldest son's wedding and we only had 3 days. The staff at Art of Smiles took excellent care of her and fixed her tooth and gave her a detailed plan from future care. You have no idea the joy and happiness you've brought to her, she can't stop crying. Now she can smile brightly for the upcoming picture day. Thank you all so much!

Negative experience: I've never visited the business, was curious as to whether they might do the job better than my current dentist, but they are locked up tight on Wednesday afternoon at 2:15pm with no hours posted, no explanation that there's an emergency. So my immediate understanding of the place is they don't understand basic common sense, they don't care about good manners and they are not open as many hours as I would desire.

Fantastic experience: I must say, IMPRESSIVE!! Historically, I am a big chicken, going to the dentist, OMG!! I honestly become lightheaded, stressed, probably sweaty, and a mess. Today, perfection!! Positive experience: The most helpful and one of the friendliest dentist I have ever visited at age 44. The price for root canal was $3700 very expensive I found another place for $2650 . If they price matched I would consider this place for sure.

Fantastic experience: I had a great 1st appointment with Art of the Smiles, Dr. Huang, and staff. The front office staff was bright, cheerful, and all ready to set me up as a new patient. The dental hygienist was thoughtful, careful, efficient, and quick. The digital X-ray system used is very efficient. Dr Huang’s chair side manner is supportive, and she communicates what she is doing very well. All in all a pleasant experience that left me feeling I’d found a top notch dental office!

Fantastic experience: I'm so impressed with the care I got here! Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. Came in with a a cracked tooth due to years of not going to the dentist and not properly caring for my teeth, having a phobia of any kind of dental work, and this was a completely judgement free place. They didn't try to upsell me beyond what was essential, and offered multiple forms of payment, and helped me better understand how I can get "caught up" on my teeth (I knew I had lots of cavities going in) in a way that wasn't overwhelming. The tooth I had cracked, had a very deep and visible cavity, and they were able to salvage that tooth with great care. Did an excellent job fitting the temporary filling and later the permanent filling. I'm so appreciative of this place and can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually excited to go back to take care of the rest of my teeth.

What I like most is the fact that they all explained everything to me. I did my initial consult get a second opinion on my ortho needs and decided to switch dentists. This clinic does everything. Negative experience: The worst company ever! I tried coming into get my check to get my money back and there was a white lady was very rude about it and trying to make an excuse to not get my money back. Still difficult trying to get my money back and i won’t stop fighting to get my money back!

Fantastic experience: Easily the best dentist I've ever seen. Dr. Huang is polite, funny, has light hands, works efficiently and is reasonable in her pricing. They were able to get me in quickly and went the extra mile with a 3-D image of a tooth that was of concern to ensure they didn't need to extract it. I would send anybody I love here! The front office staff and the assistants in the back are also very friendly and efficient in their work.

Fantastic experience: Dr Amanda Huang, Art-of-the-Smile, is beyound amazing in every area of dentistry. From standard fillings to implants, crowns, and root canals. She even proforms the biannual cleaning for many clients like me (bad teeth). If that isn't enough...she has outstanding knowledge of the insurance industry, especially Medicare, and guided me to incredible savings. I'm using two Delta Dental plans this year providing me with $7000 in benefits instead of $1000 on the old DD plan. Other dentists never told me I could do better regarding insurance plans but rather, let me pay through to nose. Dr Amanda truly cares about her patients. Some of them travel great distances to utilize her skill and care. Her entire staff are groomed in providing excellence. It feels like family when I'm there. Thank you Dr Amanda.

Fantastic experience: I am so very lucky finding Dr. Huang and Team after my previous dentist retired. I recently have been intensively working with this team on quite a few tasks. Dr. Huang is very well trained, with excellent clinical knowledge and skills, and she is very down-to-earth: transparent about procedures, costs, follow-up details and more. She is caring and knows her drill. Operations by her were quick, clean and as a magic - less pain, better healing and less infection or other concerns. Her critical thinking coupled with high-level expertise ensure best patient feelings. The team is also highly professional - from scheduling, billing, to every phone call and reminders. Negative experience: I paid out of my own pocket without insurance for my procedure. I need a an extraction. I was told they had laughing gas for a fee I paid the $60 and felt nothing but was lied to by the dentist and was told I did receive it.

Fantastic experience: Visited Art of the Smiles dental office today received my consultation with the great Dr. Wong who examined me and gave me all the details about my dental needs as well as what everything was going to cost me to get back the smile I was looking for. Dr. Wong made me feel comfortable with her knowledge and skills as a certified professional and did not make me feel embarrassed at all when she examined me. Since Medicare wasn't going to cover the cost of my treatment Dr. Wong helped me out by making a referral for me to an insurance agent who would help me to defray some of the by hooking me up with an affordable insurance plan. I thought this was a great additional free service offered by this office when they really weren't required to offer such service. I thank the staff and Dr. Wong for a job well done. Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to in my entire life. My family and I have been going to Art of the Smiles for 10 years. They have taken care of dental issues, crowns, implants, bone grafts, fillings, chipped teeth etc. And they have taken care of it all. They are kind, personable, and very dedicated to their work. Highly recommended them for anyone looking to really get taken care of.

Fantastic experience: They did a wisdom tooth extraction and it was super fast, painless, and i had an amazing quick recovery, it didn't interfere with my job duties next day. Fantastic experience: My dentist for 10 years. I’ve had crowns, cleanings, fillings and some implants done by Art of the Smiles and everything has been great! They always take the time to educate me on my options. When I’m in pain, they come to the rescue. Now my teeth are as healthy as ever thanks to them! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually write reviews, but I will do a review for AOTS. My daughter and I both had an appointment (routine cleaning) with Dr. Huang. Starting from the front office ladies down to her dental assistant Edwin, everyone was absolutely great! Dr. Huang was very patient and took her time with us during our visit. Answered questions and concerns. Very knowledgeable. Did not beat around the bush about prices either. Broke everything down so there aren’t any surprises with cost. The office itself was very clean and did not have that “dental office smell”. Highly recommend.
