Fantastic experience: I am a new patient to this office. I walked in, the front staff was so helpful and friendly! (I couldn't remember the 3 young ladies name) but shout out to them. The back staff took great care of me. Shout out to the X-ray tech, Dr. Rossita and her Assistant for treating me with such care.
Negative experience: Made an appointment for 1130 got there early was not seen at all waited over an hour just to be told that I wouldn’t be able to be seen because the dentist had a procedure that went over the expected time after being told multiple times that I would be called back shortly. The older lady at the desk was rude and was not helpful in the slightest one of the younger women at the desk was very helpful and very apologetic and sincere, most likely will not be coming back to this establishment as not only my time was wasted, but my gas others were being taken back Who Had come in after me. On top of that, they almost lost my license. Would not recommend this establishment to anyone very unprofessional if you only have two dentist and know that a patient is going to take longer than expected. They should definitely let others know as this is a waste of my time completely unacceptable if I could give zero stars, I would.

And call my name causing people to look right at ME I wasn't expecting to be ask that question it's like she was rushing me to filed out the paperwork .knowing me I should have put her in place but I held my cool but in all the Dentists and the Nurse were GREAT and I'll be BACK. Negative experience: The receptionists up front are rude..or maybe it's because they are dealing with rude patients. The service is overwhelmingly slow! And passing an hour beyond my son appointment and still haven't been seen. They only have a few chairs in the lobby and a lot of people standing around and sitting on the floor. Need to do a lot better with scheduling! Here it is 4 yrs later and NOTHING has changed! Yet again, an hour past my son appt and HAVE NOT YET BEEN SEEN with no explanation or apology. The receptionist are a little better this go around. But I'm sure this will be the last visit.
Fantastic experience: I went to my appointment on Monday at 5 I didn’t have a long away and the extraction was good and not painful they made sure I couldn’t feel nothing and let me know everything that’s going on and I’m suppose to feel
Positive experience: The wait to be seen by the dentist was too long. Got there at 10, appt was 10:30 it was after 12 when I finally said something about not being called to the back yet. Got to the back and it was still nearly another hour before my daughter seen the doctor. There was a black girl at the front, both times I said something she looked into the issue and it was resolved, but being at any dr appt just sitting for that long is absurd. I liked the dentist.
Fantastic experience: Great! Every one was very cordial and pleasant! Had yearly exam done with deep cleaning. No pain at all! Am retired RN 40+ Yrs, quite familiar with pain! 10/10!! Highly recommend to everyone!!! I just read some of the posted reviews. I am very surprised at the negative reviews! I made the appointment and arrived 30 minutes before-I was a new patient and knew there would be paperwork. Receptionist was very pleasant, acknowledged me as soon as I got to window. She asked me to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. Waited maybe 20 minutes then went back to see dentist. The tech who did my xrays was pleasant and professional and knew what she was doing. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes before dentist came in. Dentist was very pleasant, listened to me and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything she was going to do(I was not having any dental issues-just needed exam/cleaning), and asked if I had any questions. She was very professional and I appreciated that. I am very sorry others didn’t have a positive experience. I do understand what it feels like not to be treated with care/compassion especially when you are in pain and have to wait to get some relief/answers. I have been both a care-giver(RN 40+ years, including 10yrs as a travel ER RN) and receiver of care, dx’d with lung cancer 8 years I ago). So, again I am very sorry some did not have a good experience! I gave 5 stars because they deserve it!
Negative experience: The black lady, at the front desk has an attitude and doesn't even acknowledge you when come in or go to the counter. My appointment was at 1:30 and after sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes they finally called me to the back. The dentist and the dental assistant were talking bad about another patient while I was laying there! Other than that my experience was alright I guess. Not sure if I'll go back again.

Negative experience: Experience was horrible!! I visited this dentist office twice in a two week time span for fill ins waited over two hours to get serviced. When I went in today for a fill in it took an hour and a half to get called to the back, the dentist numb my mouth and then proceeded to work on another patient which took another hour and a half of my time. My original appointment time was 11:30AM and I informed the dentist that I had to pick up my son at 2:30pm and after being informed she still processed to numb my mouth. I left the office at 2:20pm with no service done just a died lip WILL NO RECOMMEND!!!!!
Negative experience: Had a bad tooth that needed to be pulled. I went there just to ask a few questions. Wasn't busy, only 2 people there. The lady asked me..."What did I want"... I told her that I had a few questions. She proceeded to answer the phone and did everything else but acknowledge me while standing right in front of her... There were 2 people behind the desk mind you. I enjoyed talking to an elderly man waiting...but that was the highlight of my visit there. After standing there waiting a long time. I decided to just leave. Very unprofessional and rude.

Negative experience: Extremely long wait times . I’ve never made it past the waiting room / bathroom bc every time it’s taken so long the first time I waited almost 2 hours then left , last time I gave them one hour of waiting and left . It gives ratchet vibes families just pull up , walk in use their bathroom and then leave I seen that the whole time sitting in the lobby and there’s only one bathroom so it’s … not what you think of when thinking clean dental office maybe since theyre one of the few that accept adult Medicaid they just dgaf but there’s definitely other offices cleaner then this one
Negative experience: This place has the slowest staff and always over booked! I’ve made 3 appointments with them and never made it through my appointment. I’m currently on hour number 2 sitting in the waiting room on my 4th appointment.

Negative experience: This place is the worst. I had my appointment set for 5pm got there at 445 got to the back at 545 for them to tell me at 6pm I cannot get my tooth removed because they close at 6!!! Wouldn’t even give me no pain medicine . The worst place ever I wouldn’t recommend.

African American respectionist is the one I speak off. The dentist, dentist assistant and x-ray technician were superb at their profession. Explain clearly my dental plan and procedure. The staff members were professional, patient, & considerate. I feel very comfortable making Family Dental the primary office of my dental care. Thank you.
Negative experience: I rescheduled my appointment to accommodate your availability, only to be left waiting for over an hour and a half—without ever receiving the cleaning I was scheduled for. I specifically booked this time because my children get out of school at 2:30 p.m., and the delay completely derailed my afternoon. Waiting this long in the back for a routine cleaning is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the individual who took my X-rays acted with zero professionalism. She didn’t explain the procedure, didn’t introduce herself, and simply started placing equipment in my mouth without a word. This kind of behavior is not only inconsiderate—it’s unprofessional and reflects poorly on your practice. Frankly, the lack of communication, efficiency, and professionalism at this office is deeply concerning. If this is the standard of care being offered, I’ll be looking elsewhere for dental services moving forward.
Negative experience: Front desk receptionist was extremely rude. Had an appointment for 2:30, waiting until 3:30 to ask when I will be seen and receptionist told me “I don’t know, when the Dentist calls you”. Won’t be going back.
Negative experience: Waiting over an hour. Had and extraction on a Thursday, called 4 times and Now it’s been 4 days and my prescription still has not made its way to my pharmacy. ****update, 5 days after my extraction, prescription was called in and it contains penicillin which I am deathly allergic too, wow!! do not go here ever!!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!****
Negative experience: My husband drove over an hour for a 3:30pm appointment today, August 1, 2025 with Dr. Riley. Staff finally decided to tell him around 6:30pm that today was her last day and she had already left! 3 hours, they let him sit there for 3 hours! He just got back home at 8:00pm.

Negative experience: This dentist office needs to be closed down and brought out the doctor in their is horrible very inpatient this office is not for kids especially if you can take your child anywhere else but here. Today I had a appointment to get a tooth pull they callled me the day of my appointment hour before to let me kno it was cancel because I was getting on them in there couple months ago. The doctor call herself telling me she was going numb my mouth and come back to me when she get back from lunch after i done been waiting hours for her to come my room, so of course I was NOT cool with that.And of course I went in the lobby told people they should not have their kids their. I been trying contact HR or someone above to get that particular doctor remove so it can become a better place. They also told me they can't see me anymore at that office lol. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Negative experience: The experience was horrible I went in for a cleaning and as she was doing it water was spraying all over my face the spotter ain’t even know what she was doing to suction it correctly then after she going to tell me half of my teeth at top needed to be extracted and the bottom to instead of trying to save my teeth by a few fillings
Negative experience: Experience was fine until i waited 2 hours then pulled to back to wait another hour to be told i couldn’t get a cleaning today because she’s the only one doing everyone… on top of being 7 months pregnant with a 3 year old … very frustrating to not be told that soon as i got there so i can make the decision whether or not to stay or reschedule because of there inconvenience… on top of them doing a X-ray so they can bill my insurance anyways but no other service done after 3 hours. I Will not recommend this place to no one so unprofessional!!
Negative experience: Just to describe the place, it is a nest of unprofessional, rude, discourteous, ill- mannered staff /specifically the front desk. The dentist is a very professional, helpful and compassionate. As usual, I was early for my appointment, I was told that I have to wait for around 45 minutes with an outside temperature of 96 degrees because the front desk secretary didn't let anyone to wait inside. I do understand, it is Monday and people usually go to work in a cranky mood. But her grouchy, irritable and unprofessional manners was out of this word even to ask me to complete a form. The same one that I completed it with this year insurance. The front desk staffs urgently need a Best Customer Service training. I will miss my dentist.
Negative experience: Ceiling is leaking and once again I show up an hour before an appointment and still am stuck in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours everybody has an attitude

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were both able to be seen the same day at the same time even though are appointments were originally booked 4 hours apart. The dental office not only accommodated us individually, they accommodated our 5 children (our youngest being 1) and made the appointments go over smoothly. After 3 years of coming to this dental office we are more than pleased. Front office staff is amazing! I’m thankful for them.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Despite the dentist I was supposed to see wasn’t in, The wait was about an hr. I thought I was gonna get a filling but got a tooth pulled instead. The dentist explained everything and was professional, the procedure was fast and wasn’t as painful as I thought.. The only issue I had is the parking, it can be a hassle to get a parking spot.. but I will return soon for a cleaning and filling!!
Negative experience: The dentist and nurse were friendly, but the whole time everyone was complaining about time and other things that was not appropriate to talk about in front of me. I got there at 4:30 didn’t get called back until a little after 5 and I felt like my visit was rushed even after check out the receptionist informed me that she had shut down her computer and to call back the next day after 10 for results and next appointment. Which I did but still never received a appointment or information regarding my results.
Negative experience: Long Review Alert... I normally don't take the time to do a review. If I could give you'll a zero I would. I was actually trying to give this place a chance. I'm going to start by saying the front staff is rude. Even with the way they greet you. They can at least say hey how you doing or something. Another thing I don't like is if my appointment it a certain time I'm going to come 15 to 20 minutes early. I hate when they say well you appointment is a certain time. Example, I came last Fridays and my appointment was at 2:00, the girl going to first ask me what you are here for. If you look up my name you can see what I'm here for I would think. Anyways, I signed in around 1:35 1:40ish, she proceeds to tell me, "oh your appointment not until 2:00". In my head I'm thinking of course I know that. Not the mention the wait time is insane. If you not on the schedule to be seen first in the morning; be prepared to be there about 2 or 3 hours or more! My last visit was a week ago and that's what really upset me. I went there for fillings. I was there few weeks prior to get my wisdom tooth pulled. Of course there was an x-ray done. However, I had to get another x-ray done they said to see where the cavities were. Which didn't make sense to me, because I had an x-ray less than a month ago. Anyways, those who come there you know they make you come back to the front to pay if you need to. After paying the doctor proceeded to fill my cavies. This is my first time having cavities so I didn't know what to expect. Long story short the doctor was in my mouth which seems like an hour. I wasn’t bother about that. Once he finished he basically told me I would need a crown and I only had 20% of my tooth left. Apparently he had to build a tooth or something for the tooth that had the cavity. I just wish that during the process I was told what was being done. Also, wish I was told that it may be an extra cost as well. I checked out wasn't told about any addition cost, just was given a breakdown of the cost for my crown. Once leaving the lady called me asking did I leave already. Which I did, then she proceeds to say I had a balance and tells me why. I told her I didn't know anything extra was being done. Then she ask me could I come back and pay it or make a payment over the phone. I told her no I could not. Then proceeds to say, she would let her office manager know. I think what upset me was the way she said it! Also me Once again she was rude. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it! I just know I will never go back to this office again and I wouldn’t recommend it.
Positive experience: Aside from waiting nearly three hours to be seen, my visit was pleasant. From front desk to the back, my experience was pleasant and pain free. All my life I have been fearful of going to the dentist even as an adult now, but Dr. Riley and her staff made me feel comfortable
Negative experience: This place is the worst. I’ve been wanting to write a review like two years ago, but I always try to give them a chance to see if things will change but things never change every time you go there you’ll be there for more than 3 hours for waiting I have a appointment there with my son. My appointment was at 1pm and when I come they make me sit there until 3 PM and that’s when they make me in and when I get in with my son, they make us sit there for 20 minutes then they take picture of his teeth after that they say wait here And then We sit there for another 1h without anybody touching my son. My son was tired and hungry. I was tired and hungry too cause we was there for so long until is 4 PM so I just left because nobody was there to check on us. They didn’t take my son and I was there since 1 PM so I just left And while leaving, nobody care seeing me leaving there was acting like OK up to you and I also canceled my sister‘s appointment and my appointment and my family won’t go there anymore. We will find a new dentist cause they are always like that and they never change And the personal in the front they’re not helpful at all.

Negative experience: The wait for terrible!! We waited 3 hours to be seen. Finally nurse assistant came to get us. The dr and assistant was good. But the wait was just exhausting. My baby wanted to play in the play area, the secretary stated no because it was a picture that needed to be put up. Which she was rude. I think that was my first and last time at that dental office.

Negative experience: Absolutely HORRIBLE! If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! Was seen 6 months ago for a cleaning and brought up the fact that my kids had a cavity each that I could see. Had an exam and cleaning, nothing said. Go to check out and schedule their next appointment assuming it was for fillings. Thought it was odd it was so far out but once again assumed it was because they were booked and must not be urgent if they are waiting that long. Called the beginning of this month to confirm appointment only to find out they schedule another cleaning instead!!! Why would they not schedule the fillings?!? Told them they needed fillings and they claimed they couldn’t do cleanings and fillings in one visit. So I told them to cancel the cleanings because they needed the cavities filled. Get there today to wait over an hour after our appointment to be seen…to find out they each have MULTIPLE cavities that I was never told about!! The one on my youngest is now a ROOT CANAL because they waited so long to even do anything and only were going to do something because I raised hell! The dentist asked where she got it filled at and I told her it was probably food and sure enough it was. THE DENTIST THOUGHT FOOD WAS A FILLING!!!!!! Then got told they don’t have time to do that because they are behind and the dentist needed to leave early. So they did fillings on other baby teeth. Finally my oldest daughter was seen almost 2 hours after her appointment time only to find out she had cavities as well that I wasn’t made aware of. Just to be told they are only going to do two today because the others are small and on baby teeth. Decay is decay and will continue to decay and get worse but let’s wait huh?! Dental assistants had no idea what they were doing. Didn’t even have the curing light ready for the fillings and had adult bite blocks for my CHILD. Called another dentist while my daughter was still in the chair to get her major work and rest of cavities filled by another dentist! Crazy how they could get her in tomorrow morning for the major work! Got my kids medical records and left! I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy! Not to mention the front desk lady is rude as hell! Malpractice at its finest goes on there! A small fix is now a major fix for my child and shouldn’t be!

Negative experience: I had an appointment as a new patient at 12:30 and arrived about 10 minutes prior, at about 12:45 I asked how far behind their appointment time people were being seen. The receptionist was nice enough but I had to ask my question over and over again before she answered me, she kept answering my question with a question: different variations of "do you not want to wait?" After the 3rd time asking the same question the receptionist finally told me that your appointment time just puts you on a list to be seen and that there is no way to know *when* you'll actually be seen, so, unfortunately, I had to cancel my appointment after arriving. I understand having delays but I was confused that there was no way to estimate wait time and I was just not able to cancel my whole afternoon based on a lack of information.

Negative experience: I made an appt last Friday for yesterday the 27th. I uploaded my dental insurance info and according to the emails I received, everything was in place. A couple of hours before my appointment I called and spoke to a woman for 1 minute asking if they did in fact receive everything ok, she said she saw it was from Delta Dental but it didn’t go through. Didn’t make sense if that came through but no big deal, I told her I would bring my card at my appointment. She never told me my appointment was canceled. I show up and was asked about my appointment time. I showed up in Tim with my card and was then told they canceled me due to no confirmation. I said I never received a call, if you did call why not leave a vm? Then directed to someone else who said she never spoke to me that morning. Both said I never called and spoke to anyone there. I tried handing them my phone to prove I called and to prove I never received a call from them. They refused to look at my phone and lied to my face. Btw, I was the only white person there. I believe I was subjected to racism from these women who just flat out didn’t want me there. I was also told they texted me, again I said they hadn’t and tried showing them phone but they didn’t want to look at it. This is a racist, nasty business. Don’t go here if you’re white. They lie to your face and refuse to be decent people.
Fantastic experience: This was by far my best experience that I have ever had at a dental practice. The staff was very pleasant and the Dr. Tuli was phenomenal.
Fantastic experience: Visit was long but made it worth it. Outstanding work and service. My teeth cleaning was fast and easy but my son took a lot longer. Overall Dr. Green and Alise are very knowledgeable and made our experience very pleasant. 20/10 visit!
Fantastic experience: The Dentist Did Very Great Removing My Wisdom Tooth . She Did Very Great Excellent Didn't Hurt Me while pulling Out My Wisdom Tooth. She was Patient With Me And Gentle I Love That About Her .
Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. This WILL BE my last time coming. I’ve been coming here for years. They can’t even find my file. Everything is a mess. I came one day the power went out so I had to reschedule just to come back & have to be here for 2 hours just for a cleaning
Fantastic experience: Went in yesterday and was the best experience I ever had at any dentist office. The dentist and Assistant was perfect! Went in feeling so bad came out relieved. They took me even though I'm pregnant where other offices wouldn't see me. Bless this office. I can't thank them enough. They were patient, loving, caring people when it came to me and my baby health. Highly recommended. Will be a patient here moving forward.
Negative experience: 0 stars terrible terrible terrible, they definitely treat you like “ MEDICAID” save time DO NOT STEP FOOT UP IN THIS “MEDICAID” office. Veryyyyyy unprofessional very rude with attitudes, seen like 4 to 5 women walking around doing absolutely NOTHING nun of them knew how to clean around braces, they all getting PAID to sit, walk around, talk about folks, getting PAID to do absolutely NOTHING. Fantastic experience: my dentist was great, professional quality work and very understanding and accommodating of anxiety. Great bed side manner, calming, caring but firm. Any other dentist and I would’ve probably noped my way out of there. Lucky to have her.
Fantastic experience: Being new to the area, i needed a good dentist to properly reattach a crown that would not previously stay on. The staff got me in quickly and worked with my insurance company to ease the financial strain. Dr Tuli was informative and efficient in properly attaching and aligning the crown to fix the problem in a professional and friendly manner. Would highly recommend
Positive experience: Dentist was 10/10 wait time was the absolute worst got there @11 .they didn’t call my name for my payment until 11:45 and didn’t speak once I came n the door I do understand they were busy in phone but I work at a dentist office I know how to pull the phone away to speak to my customer walking in and let them. Know I will be with them in a sec. Bout time I got to the back it was past 1pm and the Dentist got right to work! I understand been busy but I didn’t not have a good front office experience at all.
Fantastic experience: My dental experience was great. The front desk receptionist was so sweet and understanding with my work schedule. The dentist and dental assistant were both very patient and made sure I wasn’t in any pain throughout my appointment. They also made sure I was satisfied with my service. They educated me on the right way to brush and floss. Me and my children love family dental and have been patients for years.
Negative experience: I wish I could do 0 stars this place is horrible the lady in the front . She is very rude they don’t help you enough she was on the phone with my insurance company and she was arguing with them instead of her being polite . She said my insurance was in network but to find out it was out of network . Please don’t not go to the place! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Fantastic experience: I first went to creston dental and they tried to charge me for a cleaning even though it's been after 6 months. Horrible experience all around. Then I came here and they were super friendly and helpful. Creston wouldn't send my sons x-rays so the front office staff called them for us. Everyone here is extremely nice and helpful and actually cares about patients and their families. Definitely worth the drive from sumter! Will absolutely be back!
Positive experience: I can say they work good but their office lady is very rude and unprofessional. She makes you scared to get seen but once you reaches the back the workers are very nice. And I’m a bit confused why the online appointment are communicated to the office. I got off work 2 hrs early just to find out they don’t do fill in after 4 but online asks why are visiting.
Negative experience: Called this place on Saturday morning. Explained to the receptionist that my husband believes he had a filling that came out the night before and that he was in extreme pain. Asked if they took Unum insurance. She said yes they did, however she wouldn't be able to verify benefits because they (the insurance company) were closed. I honestly find it really interesting that she couldn't help us in any way to get him seen knowing they accept our insurance. I see why they have 3.7 stars on their website. Yall might wanna hire new front office staff whom actually care about patients'! We drove 50mins out from where we live to get him seen today. It was definitely worth the drive! The facility was so clean, the staff awesome and we found out what he actually did to his tooth, he cracked his tooth. The facility also took UNUM insurance, and we were told what he would owe and everything. And yet Family Dental receptionist apparently didnt want to be bothered or DO HER JOB! Needless to say he got extremely taken care of where we ended up. So glad the receptionist refused to see us here at Family Dental. Seems like we wouldve have had a bad experience anyway! The star level needs to be 1.2 with front staff like that!

Fantastic experience: The staff are all very kind and understanding. My son was scared to go to the dentist but when leaving he said he couldn't wait to come back. So I guess you can they are kid approved!
Negative experience: The girl at the front desk is nasty everytime someone comes in she rude for no reason at all and that’s not a good Look for the company always rude no matter what I took me And my kids from there all because of her never again. What happen to smiling faces and being polite when you working in customer service. Hands down awesome doctor but that 1 girl just piss you off before you even get to the back to see the doctor.
Negative experience: This place is advertised as a family dentistry but no access to restrooms because it was already cleaned. I would think restrooms are kept clean for the safety of its patients. Also they don’t honor the patients time. It’s was an hour behind. It is very disappointing. Definitely I wouldn’t use their services in the future. People deserve respect! They lack professionalism.
Negative experience: Bathrooms closed and wait time was almost 2 hours when I had an appointment set. There's no reason that I should arrive at 3pm and leave at closing (6pm) all while no bathroom available when I have a 3 year old toddler. Also front desk ladies are rude and condescending.
Negative experience: First of all I don't like to talk bad about people. All the people working there is polite and friendly that's not my problem. The staff I would give 5 stars. After multiple visits of getting 2 crowns and a root canal at a different dentist. The doctor must of been having a bad day. Both crowns being put in on the same day. The one in the front was crooked the other molar didn't fit wright. I had all I could take for the day. Between work and waiting for the pain to go away it was about a year, I had problem with a different tooth. So I went back they could fix the new tooth but would not do anything for the crowns. They did not stand behind their work
Fantastic experience: I took my artistic nephew here a few weeks ago. They had a new dental assistant I think she said her name was Monica. Very sweet and patient young lady. I was having trouble with daily routines of brushing his teeth. She gave me a suggestion and it worked great. I thank her for the information and I'm no longer having problems with my son brushing on a daily basis. I wish her nothing but the best very sweet loving young lady. She is most definitely the type of person any office should have
Fantastic experience: Greetings & Salutations. This was our first time at this location, but it won’t be our last. Dr. Tule and her staffs attention to detail, kindness and professionalism made this experience one of a kind! My children felt safe, we will definitely be returning! Peace
Negative experience: here for my mom but from what i have seen, terrible! go here if you want your time wasted and to be treated rudely... receptionist very rude, always seems to be annoyed/bothered about customers at her job... no matter what time your appt is scheduled, you will wait at least an hour... arrived for an appt, waited to be seen, they didn't even have the equipment necessary to do what was needed!...ridiculously unprofessional!
