Fantastic experience: West Columbia Dental, Dr Cope and staff, are very professional, caring, and do Excellent dental work, I definitely recommend them.

Negative experience: If you cancel an appt due other things that come up being work even 48 hours in advance, this dentist will not schedule you to come back. My husband goes there but I am sure this will happen to him at some point also. Very unprofessionable. Sorry, life happens!!

Negative experience: Do NOT go here to get cavities filled. No sympathy, no conversation, he was so rough and harsh. It was an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. Absolutely miserable hour I spent in the chair.

Negative experience: On 9/22/25 I brought my lower denture to have 1 tooth replaced (which was supplied) , and i bought my dentures @ 6 weeks prior. I was told that I would get it back in 1 to 2 days. Today is 10/4/25 still do do have it back. I have called 5 times and finally got a call back last Friday saying basically nothing. The entire sets did not take this long. I don't ask for much but if someone says their going to do something I expect them to do it, if that's proving to be difficult than at least a curtsuty phone call

I would recommend west columbia dental to everyone family friends. The Dentist he always greets you with a smile and he just makes you feel comfortable. I recommend them 1000%

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cope and his staff are phenomenal! They went above and beyond to see my husband and me on short notice, and saved us hundreds of dollars in doing so. Tiffany assisted Dr. Cope with my care and she was absolutely wonderful — I’ll request her every time. She made me so comfortable, but didn’t impose a bunch of inauthentic small talk. She was simply, genuinely kind and clearly quite skilled. The receptionists also provided excellent care (understatement … everyone there is incredible). I really love this office and am grateful to have found such a competent dentist.

Fantastic experience: when I say that this is absolutely my favorite dentist office, it literally is. From the front desk all the way to the assistants and to the dentist himself! I felt very supported and happy with the experience and service I received. I have very bad anxiety with dentist offices. However, the assistants were very sweet and held my hand through the procedure. I will definitely refer my family and friends.

Negative experience: Buyer Beware ⚠️ Caution Buying Dentures from this company they take x-rays make your dentures and after paying in full the Surgeon who is contractor for them decides if he wants to do extractions or not . After making your Dentures I live on fixed income more to come with pictures I found a wonderful and Honest Dentist who told me my bottom teeth didn't need to be extracted only needed filling and root canal so now thanks to this company I have a set of bottom dentures cost a fortune that is Useless so sad how they get buy with this stuff .Don't reply bc nobody Ever reaches out nothing but g mail Deleted

Negative experience: My husband and I have been coming for a few years and after rescheduling twice I came in to get my teeth cleaned. Hygienist was out and Dr Cope attempted to clean my teeth with a water sprayer of some sort. I was unable to handle the water spraying all over my face, shirt, hair and eyes. I tried twice. He became impatient with me, got mad and said "Well I can't clean your teeth then" and stormed out. I would never let him touch me again. My husband and I are so disappointed.

Positive experience: Staff was great and very polite but Dr. Cope was not as friendly and I literally still have tooth pain from a cavity he treated and it’s a year later. Went back after his initial work to tell them I was still in pain and he didn’t show much concern just told me it might still hurt anywhere from 6 months to a year later….the pain never left

Negative experience: IMPORTANT: They will charge you $50 if you reschedule/ cancel your appointment even if you call ahead of time!!!! Not good customer service!!

Negative experience: I went there and was late for traffic reasons. The front atiendan told me I was late and the doctor can’t see me. When I went back to my car he was just sitting outside talking on the phone. I wonder if a patient less is not important. Even if you are in pain. I do not recommend this place ever !!!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for about 22 years. I love walking in and feeling at home, even though I'm at the dentist :) . The entire staff is very friendly, always smiling, and extremely knowledgeable. They always make coming to the dentist as easy and as pain free as they can! Michelle was most knowledgeable, kind, caring and truly invested in my experience. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist with a great staff! I've been going to West Columbia Dental since 1989 I think... I don't really remember when I started. I"ve never had a bad experience there. I've had cavities filled, wisdom teeth removed, a crown and mostly I've gotten checkups regularly. They've got records of my teeth and they help me with my dental health.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience with Dr Brantley and West Columbia Dental today. It has been a while since I've been to a dentist, and I was apprehensive, as you can imagine. Fantastic experience: I went to a big name dentistry group. They told me I had pyorrhea and l was going to loose all my teeth if I didn't get $535 worth of deep root cleaning. I decided to get a second option, because I wasn't having any issues, bleeding or pain. I went to dentist, Dr. Brantley Cope, who said my teeth and gums are in good shape. I highly recommend West Columbia Dental to anyone looking for a new dentist. Their staff is very friendly too!

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately I had to receive a root canal and get a crown. Dr. Cope was wonderful and thorough. With the new technology they have in the office my crown fit perfectly and comfortably, and within a reasonable time (around 2 hours) I was in and out of my appointment! I also changed to this Dentistry for my yearly cleanings! Highly recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I recently became a new patient of Dr. Cope. I have had several crowns done in the past...my prior dentists took molds, gave me a temporary crown (that often came out), then brought me back later to get the permanent crown. It was a lengthy and tiresome process. Dr. Cope has the latest technology in his office that allows him to make the permanent crown in his office. Just one visit, and I left with a crown that fits perfectly. And, the pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Cope.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately I have needed several crowns over the last decade. I had problems with the previous dentist I had getting the crowns to fit correctly and required multiple return visits until my bite was correct. Dr. Cope placed an implant crown and got it right the first time. My bite was right from the moment I walked out of the office and I could not tell I had a crown done. It felt like a natural tooth. Fantastic experience: UPDATE: Still a patient and still wouldn't choose any other office for my dental needs. After being a patient at the WDC office, ALL of my adult life, and being a patient of Dr. Fleming and now Dr. Cope, I can say there is no other dental office in the area that is as outstanding as this group. I LOVE WCD!! I have been a patient at West Columbia Dental for probably 20 years. Had to call yesterday unexpectedly for an emergency appointment and they were able to see me and fix the filling within an hour of opening this morning. It was my first time seeing Dr. Cope, as I have always seen Dr. Fleming. Dr. Cope was very thorough, gentle and quick in assessment of issue and fixing it. Dr. Fleming, Dr. Cope, Anne, Tiffany and Ashley are awesome! They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience!

Fantastic experience: These guys are amazing. I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years. My very first experience made me realize that I won’t be going to any other dentist office. The Doctors and staff are very professional, they give lots of detail into what procedures you will have done and also offer to do a little at a time if certain situations allow it to help with the cost.
