Fantastic experience: The staff here is by far the nicest and friendliest that I have ever experienced It makes for a less stressful experience when I have to have work done on my teeth I would highly recommend them to anyone who hates going to the dentist because they are so nice and pleasant to be around. Fantastic experience: My experience at Aspen Dental was absolutely exceptional from beginning to end. Before I even stepped into the office, I was warmly greeted over the phone by two young ladies who provided accurate information and made me feel completely welcomed. That first impression truly set the tone for what would become an outstanding experience. I have to start by highlighting KP, who took my x-rays. From the moment he introduced himself, his personality immediately put me at ease. He was professional, patient, and incredibly thorough. He explained what he was doing, worked efficiently, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about his patients’ experience. There was even a lighthearted moment when I accidentally bit him during the x-rays — and instead of making it awkward, he laughed it off and forgave me on the spot! It turned into a funny, human moment that made us both laugh and instantly eased any nervousness. That kind of grace and good humor speaks volumes about his character. KP’s kindness, patience, and positive energy truly stood out and set the foundation for the rest of my visit. Next, I met Jess, the dental hygienist — and she was amazing. She genuinely cares about her patients and wants the best for them. She shared information about my dental health that I had not heard from my previous dentist in over 10 years. She explained procedures that would greatly improve my dental health, and her knowledge and care gave me so much confidence that I decided to move forward with her recommendations. The cleaning she performed was probably the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Aaron was equally impressive. He carefully assessed my dental needs and created a clear plan that will result in me having a beautiful, updated, permanent smile. He was professional, reassuring, and thorough. I also have to mention the great music playing throughout the office — the playlist created such a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. One moment that truly stood out to me showed the teamwork and closeness of the staff. While Kayla was taking my impressions for Invisalign, she realized she needed assistance. Dr. Aaron just happened to be walking by, and the moment she asked for help, he immediately stepped in without hesitation. He didn’t delegate it — he personally came in and assisted her to make sure everything was done properly. That spoke volumes about his leadership, humility, and genuine commitment to patient care. It also demonstrated how well this team works together and supports one another. Kayla herself was gentle, patient, and attentive while taking my impressions. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Tony, the financial associate, was absolutely wonderful. I asked him to run several different financial scenarios so I could fully understand my options, and he did so patiently, willingly, and thoroughly. At no point did he make me feel like I was asking too much or being difficult. He never appeared rushed or agitated — instead, he remained calm, professional, and supportive the entire time. He took the time to explain everything clearly and worked with me to create a plan that felt manageable and realistic. That level of patience and respect meant so much to me. On top of that, he was humorous and personable — we laughed and had such an enjoyable interaction that even discussing finances felt easy and stress-free. Every part of my visit felt seamless, professional, and genuinely caring. Because of the outstanding staff and the incredible experience I had, I have decided to make Aspen Dental my permanent dental provider. KP, Jess, Dr. Aaron, Tony, and Kayla are exceptional people. Their professionalism, compassion, teamwork, and personalities are what make Aspen Dental such a wonderful place. This experience truly feels life-changing for me. Fantastic experience: Had two crowns put in and the whole entire procedure was wonderful and pain free. I would recommend saving that tooth cause you’ll need them all later and now there’s a pain free alternative. Friendly staff makes you feel like family. Only thing missing was some doughnuts…..oh my mouth was numb….smh

Fantastic experience: Bit down wrong on a walnut and it ticked off a back tooth a previous dentist advised extraction on. They were able to get me in immediately, and when I came into the office the staff were all very compassionate and patient with me as the pain made it difficult to do the x-rays, and a childhood experience left me absolutely terrified of the dentist. Dr. Aaron Crittendon was empathetic and optimistic, and advocated for trying to save that tooth without making me feel like he was trying to pressure me into it. It's a relief to be able to keep that tooth, and the root canal thus far has been an excellent call and hasn't given me any issues.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time ever that i have not been scared out of my mind and anxiety on 100 going to a dentists office. Dr.Aaron and his team are awesome. Amber, the”J Girls” (i don’t want to misspell their names) to the guy with consultation that tried to help me up when i fell . Everyone was so calming and did their absolute best to make me feel comfortable, & calm with no judgement as possible. With the utmost professionalism. they told me step by step what was going to take place before it did. I understand why Jess talks so loud trying to make sure the machine is working. Now today was my 1st day…so i’ll follow up tomorrow after the work is done

Negative experience: From reception to every step in this office the patient is met with kindness patience and professionalism. The X-ray tech ((Kayla) was gentle and did a perfect job. I did not gag even once with a full panorama X-ray. Next I saw Dr. Aaron, he is young and looks like a kid. But he is kind professional and knowledgeable about dentistry. He answered every question with patience and understanding of exactly what I was asking. It was apparent he wanted me to understand every detail and be comfortable with my procedures to come. Lastly I met the Operations Manager (JD Carmichael).He was top notch. He went over the possible plans for my teeth. He was very patient and allowed me as many questions as I could think of. He even spoke to my daughter on the phone allowing her to ask questions about my options .This office is clean and the staff is amazing! I’ve had to change the review. Everything I said about the office staff being friendly professional attitude and a clean office is still true. But beware of the quality of work you will get here. I’m still in the process of getting same day denture implants. This is day 46. Stay tuned for the final results of this.

Positive experience: For 3 months I've attempted to schedule an appointment at the Harbison location to get wisdom teeth x-ray'ed and extracted. I am primarily visiting this one because it's within a 3 mile radius of my home, and the other locations are more than 12 miles away. However whenever i get close to an appointment date and call to verify, i either get told there's none and i have to go to Garners Ferry or Lexington. However the website will say there's one available, or I'll talk to another rep on the phone who will confirm oral surgery exists at the Harbison location. I do not know why i am getting contradicting answers, especially since my insurance company, UNUM, confirmed therere at least 2b different oral surgeons available to perform the procedure.

Positive experience: Was my first time there. My United Healthcare recommended Dr. Aaron Critterson and I was not disappointed. Was maybe a little disappointed that he couldn't do the work. But, He gave me a recommendation to another place to get a Root canal. Was a great professional office. Everyone was nice and informative. I will definitely be back. If you use your GPS to find the place, it will take you behind the Firestone building. Their building is beside Denny's restaurant. They share the back entrance parking lot driveway.

Negative experience: 3 months prior to going to Aspen Dental I was seen at my regular dental office where my oral health was deemed very good. I went to Aspen because my regular dentist had no appointments and I wanted a cleaning for a trip I was going on. Aspen told me I had bone lost and because of that I needed some deep cleaning that would be $469. As I’ve always maintained good oral hygiene and I know with brushing and flossing regularly your oral health doesn’t deteriorate completely in 3 months when it’s been good your whole life. So I left. I wouldn’t trust this place as it appears to be financially motivated instead of authentic patient treatment.

Negative experience: This office is more concerned with profits rather than PATIENT’S needs. They had me on a very specific cleaning schedule that was very expensive. I went to another dentist to get a second opinion, and they said that cleaning schedule was not needed and unnecessary! Additionally, I feel they up charge their services to get extra money from insurance companies and patients. I was quoted $250 after insurance for a mouth guard. The other dentist was $84 after insurance for the exact same mouth guard. There were a lot of other issues I’m not going into. I would recommend you think twice before going to this or the Lexington location since they’re owned by the same person.

Negative experience: They did not tell me about the procedure of doing a new client appointment. They made me go through all these procedures, just to try and get me to do a special cleaning my insurance won't cover, then refused to do a basic clean. After 2 hours in that office. I've never heard of people refusing to do a clean. Nothing but an upsell to make more money. This is not Healthcare

Fantastic experience: I had a 10 o’clock appointment and was greeted warmly by the receptionist, the X-ray technician, and the doctor, all showing professionalism and kindness. I didn’t wait long, and they kept me informed about my progress. I previously visited Aspen for dental work, but I prefer this office near Colombiana Mall for their friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend visiting them, including the pleasant finance lady.

Positive experience: From the time I entered the building, I was met with politeness, patience and professionalism. The facility was clean. Each step they took was explained to me, even the cost analysis in detail. I was given an opportunity to expressed how I wanted my dental work to look, to feel, the color of the gums, size and color of the teeth. There was no pressure to upgrade to a higher price. I was recommended by a neighbor that was quite satisfied. I drove 65 miles. This was my 1st visit, I hope my final visit will be a fulfilling as this one was, and that I will be happy with the final results. Stay tuned.

Fantastic experience: Like so many others, I have significant dental anxiety so have neglected this part of my health for years. I still have that anxiety…this office and staff, however, is tremendous at helping relieve those issues. The staff dentist and hygienist at this location are wonderful. Negative experience: The dentist was 45 minutes late for an 8:00 am appointment for a procedure that took less than 30 minutes to do. This just tells me that my time isn’t nearly as important or as valuable as his. I will not be going back to this dentist and will seek treatment elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

Positive experience: Appointment was easy to get. Pleasant and professional greetings by entire staff. Procedures were explained easily and I was given a chance to ask questions. Fantastic experience: Other than the little bit of a wait for my appointment I was very satisfied with the service. The office manager went over my treatment plan and got me a great discount since I don’t have dental insurance. They answer any questions and were very nice and caring. They thanked me for my patience in waiting room and gave me time to ask questions if I had any concerns. The office was nice and clean too.

Fantastic experience: I had a 9:00 am appt, after I arrived 10 mins early they said there was a 45 minute wait because they were running behind so I sat in the car and waited. 40 mins later I went in and didn't get seen for an additional 2hrs, finally got called in and had to wait an additional 1 with 3 other patients sitting in there talking over me it was a most exhausting experience. When you call to make an appointment the recording speak so highly of there services. I was truly disappointed.

Negative experience: This is the used car dealership of dentists I would not recommend them for even a second. This would have been my 3rd time going there since my last dentist of 8 years shut down expectedly and everytime I would go in I would have to argue about paying out of pocket since my dental insurance covers 2 cleanings per year and I have zero issues with my teeth otherwise. They always tried to tell me I owed more than what my dental insurance would pay even though it was just a 6 month cleaning. I never had this issue in my life with another dentist. Seriously run don't walk from them they deserve to be shut down. Shady as all get out.

Fantastic experience: OMG! Let me just say—I was not happy about going to the dentist today. At all! My husband found this Aspen Dental-Harbison location after needing an emergency tooth extraction, and when he came home, he couldn’t stop raving about his experience. He was so impressed, he went ahead and scheduled me an appointment too! So today, we both came in—his follow-up and my first visit. I was a bundle of nerves. Due to some bad experiences with previous dentists, I had all kinds of crazy thoughts running through my mind. But then I met Jay. From the moment she greeted me, her bubbly personality made me forget I was even at the dentist! She helped calm my anxiety instantly, and it honestly felt like two friends just chatting it up. I immediately felt comfortable. I don’t remember the name of the young lady who did my initial assessment before the doctor came in, but let me tell you—she was thorough! She had a helper with her who was sweet and friendly as well. I kept hearing numbers being called out: “002, 333, repeat, 111…” I had no clue what any of that meant, but clearly, they did—and they had me covered. They explained everything about my gum and tooth health and walked me through a clear plan of action to address my issues. Then came Dr. Aaron—what a calm and reassuring presence! His bedside manner was fantastic. He explained everything in simple terms, gave honest recommendations, and made the process feel easy. Meanwhile, my husband and I were cutting up and laughing in the same room, and even Dr. Aaron joined in on the fun while staying professional. Next up was Mr. Carmichael, who handled the financial side. Let me tell you, he is one cool dude! Friendly, funny, and super personable. Somehow, he makes you feel good about the money you’re about to spend—lol! He made sure we left educated, with a clear budget and plan in place to get the work done. To everyone at the front desk—thank you for the warm greetings and friendly smiles. You clearly explained everything and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I genuinely look forward to my next visit. I’m so sorry I can’t remember everyone’s name, but I’ll be sure to shout you out next time I’m in the office. Fantastic experience: Nice staff, incredibly friendly. Ekta was very helpful with how she explained everything and overall had a very welcoming aditude Amber helped me with my X rays. She was cracking jokes the whole time and made it go alot faster then I thought. Lastly, dr Aaron was the best! I had a plethora of questions and he was very patient and helped me understand more about my teeth. Shout out to JD too. I have alot that I need to get done with my teeth, and he let me edit my plan to optimize what's the biggest priority to stretch a dollar as far as it can go. Great staff!

Negative experience: My appt was at 11:30. I had an abscess under my molar for three days and needed it solved. They planned to do a first time visit exam and see me again for any problems I may have. I explained multiple times I needed a chronic pain fixed. I was seen at 12:30. Told they could pull it at two since they had a meeting from one to two. Got back in about 2:15 and they put in the numbing to pull the tooth. Sat there over half hour waiting. He came in again, injected more Novocain right into the swollen part under the tooth. That REALLY hurt. Then proceeded to yank the molar out. Said there it is.. All done! And walked out. Nurse basically said same thing, handed me a bag with some gauze and led me out. No stiches, no rinsing tooth pocket, nothing. Never going back!
