Advanced Dental Care of Lexington: Joseph McDaniels DMD

Negative experience: I've been to this Dental office a few times. Each time is a different dentist. They aren't very professional. If you would like a root canal after getting a simple filling, I recommend going here. I got one filling there that was really poorly done and the tooth died as a result. Of course that dentist isn't working there anymore. It cost me a few grand when it was all said and done. Also they bill for cleanings because they charge more than my insurance allows. That is a little annoying but the hygienist is a total sweetheart so I don't mind that as much. Would be 1 star but the hygienist is really nice.

My dentist retired after 30 years and I thought I would never find another one like the one I had. I was wrong. I've found my families forever dentist!

Fantastic experience: My favorite dental office that I've ever been to! All of the front-office ladies are so friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Dr. Bumgardner, Dr. Buckhouse, and Dr. McDaniels are all great! They don't seem to be in so much of a rush like some places. They take their time and are very thorough. I feel like I can trust their observations and recommendations. I always enjoy visiting with Allison as my hygienist and catching up on life. She does such a fantastic job and is very personable! It's actually a relaxing experience. I've never waited long from my appointment time to be taken back. The office is clean and bright. I don't have a single complaint!

She made sure I was comfortable at all times! Dr. Buckhouse was my dentist and she also was fabulous. Was very clear with my dental care and explained what her plan was in great detail. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and helpful, very much a family feel at this practice. I would recommend anyone to come here for their dental care!

Fantastic experience: This is the best place ever. If you are scared of dentist visits, this is the place for you. From Dr. McDaniel, Tia, Melissa, Terry and all the other staff. Amazing service and very conscious of you and how you feel and what you want. I haven’t been to a Dentist in 10 plus years. Dr. Bumgardner is gentle, kind and everything you could hope for. I had a new top denture made and a crown on the bottom. Excellent service. They feel good, they look good and I am so happy. 5 stars plus

They made me feel like I had been going there for years, I wasn't a patient that they knew by file or number- they knew ME! That's the kind of dentist and practice I want to go to and keep going to. Dr. McDaniels has such a great "bedside manner" and he's gentle. His wife is at the front with Melissa who will move some mountains for you. And the staff in the back Terri and Tiarra, I enjoyed every appointment with you ladies!!! They never made me feel like I was going to have something painful done. We would just laugh instead. Fantastic experience: My husand and I found Advanced Dental Care with Dr. B. over 2 years ago, when we moved to Lexington. I am still sooo grateful we found Dr. Bumgardner! Just had my yearly check-up yesterday and I was not disappointed...the same courteous staff and hygienist, and Dr. Bumgardner was again above and beyond gracious, listening and accepting my particular "issues". I also, can not thank Dr. B. enough for going out of his way last fall to help my husband with his tooth concerns at a time my husband was not experiencing good health due to a brain tumor (unknown and undiagnosed ).
