Perfect Teeth Dental - Loveland

Negative experience: Had been going to this location for 6 years. It was great at first, never felt like unnecessary things recommended or other issues. Then it got bought out and things went downhill but not terrible. Got bought out/merged again and went into the garbage. Have had 3 separate times when I've made appointments for cleanes and a day are two before I was supposed to go in, the hygienist quit. I've seen the staff change so many times and the new dentist don't care. Do poor work and recommend unnecessary things and tell you your teeth are terrible. Have had issues for months after them filling a cavity and after multiple attempts, still haven't fixed anything.

Fantastic experience: I was overly impressed with Dr Steen and her group. I was in from TX and my wisdom tooth decided to come out. They got me in and got my tooth out without too much pain. Competent and quick.

Negative experience: After debating whether to leave a review, and reading others' reviews of Dr Hardy, I think it's only right that I also put my experience out there to encourage others to look elsewhere. I had all four wisdom teeth removed by Dr Hardy. The operation itself was relatively smooth and I believe done right, however nobody put any gauze in my mouth afterwards and I didn't find out (because I wasn't lucid) until an hour after I got home. My mouth was left to bleed. I was also not provided with enough gauze, or an oral syringe to rinse the extraction sites, both of which I had to go buy myself despite always hearing things like this are provided. Getting more into Dr Hardy, he is not a great people person. If you have any questions or concerns about the operation you'll be made to feel like a nuisance for asking. I am glad i had the operation done but I wish I'd done it elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Front desk person very pleasant, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Dentist Joy, very knowledgeable, caring, listens and really works for what you want and what she feels important. Best Dentist I have ever been too in 70+ years

Fantastic experience: Joy took the time to listen to my concerns and acknowledge and respect my over the top fear of dentists. We came up with a plan that made me feel very comfortable and heard and respected. I am impressed and have already recommended her to friends!

Negative experience: Don't waste your time at Perfect Teeth. I called the west Loveland office multiple times every day for a few weeks to ensure they had x-rays for my mom's upcoming appointment. You can't talk to a person at the office, you get redirected to a call center that gives you a new number to call in an hour or two. I do that and get no where. On the day of the appointment my elderly mom (92) was treated very rudely by the front office lady and ended up walking out without seeing the doctor. Very frustrating!

Fantastic experience: The whole staff are wonderful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Perfect Teeth in west Loveland.

Negative experience: I was scheduled for 3 extractions with sedation from Dr. Hardy. He immediately & firmly opposed doing any type of sedation. Why schedule it that way then? Also, they needed money up front rather than billing my insurance. These are items that IMO should be discussed before setting up an appointment. Disappointed with location and organization. Zero out of ten stars.

Fantastic experience: Had my teeth cleaned on 3/16/2026. Nothing of concern was discovered.

Negative experience: I first visited Perfect Teeth-Loveland over two years ago and at that time they were undergoing turnover, didn’t bill my insurance for subpar services which resulted in a year of bills, phone calls, they tried to send me to collections, and after finally getting things sorted out a year ago I just received another bill from them. This place has been a thorn in my side due to their own incompetence.

After a nightmare experience at a different office where my tooth was actually damaged and my insurance was mishandled, I was ready to never go to another dentist again. Dr. Yvette was a breath of fresh air and completely restored my trust and comfort. She didn’t just tell me what was wrong, but showed me how and why it happened. She walked me through all my options, provided an estimated cost, and confirmed exactly what my insurance would cover. I felt so much more at ease coming out with a clear treatment plan, especially knowing my insurance covers all of it! The team here is phenomenal. Thank you so much for the professional and upmost care. I will definitely be staying with this practice!"

Negative experience: Initially I liked the dentist and staff there after a few visits, were always nice. I had a broken tooth and scheduled it to possibly remove since they agreed it was a wisdom tooth over the phone. I got to my appointment and they didnt have any idea I was there for a broken tooth. They said it was for two other wisdom teeth that were not incolved with the broken tooth. Long story short I moved forward with the extraction of the others since I already took off work and possibly could use the extractions further down the road. It used all my benefits with insurance for the year and I still have a broken tooth since they wouldnt work on it. The cost is paid was also double the quote given a few minutes earlier. Doc removing the teeth was in an obvious rush, super super rough hands, not conscious of how the patient feels during the unrealistic amount of repeated sticks for novocaine. Was done in literally less than a minute and a half with no wait for extraction after novocaine. As I walked out of the building, with the same broken tooth I came for, I see the doc flying by through the parking lot and onto the highway, obviously had better things to do. All around a really bad experience. Obviously perception is your reality, so take with a grain of salt, but I walked away very unhappy. Not returning... only wrote a review because they sent a text asking to, and I'm telling my truth.

Positive experience: I have gone to Perfect Teeth for several years. I am pleased with their work. Unfortunately this company has high turnover of employees. So far the turnover has not effected my care. Julia the hygienist is excellent.

Negative experience: I was referred by the VA's Community Care Department, and feel that this location treated me WORSE than even the Denver VA. I came in on November 19, 2025, with a severe cavity, received more tooth X-rays than Leon Spinx, and left with only a Lidocaine prescription for my pain. I was told that the clinic is basically spineless, and I had to get another code to do the work that they need to do to fix my tooth, do some cleaning, reinvent my mouth, erect a Ferris wheel, etc. While I was at the West Eisenhower Blvd. location in Loveland, Colorado, I tried to be pleasant, a little bit jovial and light-hearted without overdoing it, and received in return rudeness and the bedside mannerisms of a stone or a wolf on its prey from the hygienist, as well as the dentist. I reported this to the front desk receptionist, and she said that she would notify her boss of the rude treatment that I received. The last time that I was treated this poorly by a dental department was at the Denver VA when they were at the old facility right beside the Rose Medical Center in downtown Denver, Colorado. As a human, as well as a Disabled Veteran of the U. S. Navy, deserves better treatment than a cockroach that is trying to crawl up onto a person"s leg or across their kitchen floor to be stomped on.

Negative experience: Staff and the office are absolutely horrible to deal with they have bad attitudes and poor customer service it's no wonder that there is abundance of available appointment times here.

And, I always have a thorough and positive experience when I go to their office. They are the best!

Positive experience: Wrote this about in April 2025 and apparently didn’t post it: Care was wonderful, the staff and doctor very professional and competent as always. I took a star away only because the new office was cluttered, crowded, and badly in need of a facelift. The clutter could be due to the recent move, but the worn varnish on cabinets (for example) could not. Update Sept 2025: It seemed much more organized and less cluttered, but this just really isn’t a good space. The equipment can barely be crammed into the rooms in a way patients and staff can maneuver around it. But once again the staff and doctor were very competent, professional, considerate, and personable. The facility doesn’t do them justice.

Negative experience: I called to make an appointment to have a root canal done. I specifically said I needed a root canal done. Then when I get to my appointment I'm told the dentist does not do Root canals. Poor management! The person making the appointment should have an understanding of what the dentist can and cannot do.

Negative experience: Do not waste your time with this company. I had a confirmed new patient appointment, showed up, the doors were locked and there was nobody inside. There was no call about my appointment being cancelled, and when I called the number for the office, I was routed to a general customer service line where they had no record of me having been in their system.

Kim Hawkins office manager was so very helpful when I was suffering and in need of a root canal and need to be hand held to get info and an appointment I saw the Dentist please forgive me I can’t remember her name but took control made me feel at ease explanations we’re clear and easy to follow the Dentist office and examination rooms were very clean and modern I am so happy the Lord lead me hear they have a patient for life Thank you hang God Bless

Negative experience: I chipped a tooth Monday night. Called n Tuesday, and after 3 very disjointed calls, I was told I had a 12pm for Wednesday. Took another 6 hours to get a confirmation. Showed up and first lady was too busy to actually deal with me, so a second person stepped up to help. My profile still has and insurance company and a recommended procedure from 2021. Finally ended up in the room at 12:15 but didn't see the dentist until 1:20. After a 5 minute exam, the dentist concluded that I did indeed have a chipped tooth. But alas, they couldn't fix it today due to lack of time. Considering that I sat there for an hour and fifteen minutes, that would've been plenty of time to toss some epoxy in my tooth and send me on my way. But no. I had to go to the front desk and get an appointment for some future date.... I thought when I made an appt to get my tooth fixed, I would get my tooth fixed at that appointment. But no, I had to tell the check out person no fewer than 6 times that I was working from 7am to 230pm and needed an appt after 230. To which she would reply, I have 9am, 10am or 11am for 3 days! Clueless for sure. They finally text me my work plan, which still included the crown work from 2021 included for a total of almost $2500 due For a chipped tooth. Lol.... Someone needs a new Mercedes.... Find some place else to go!!

Negative experience: Waited over a month for an appointment just to find out it was canceled due to no hygienist. No email no call. Missed work and son missed half day of school. Very disappointed. Want us to wait till June and drive to Firestone. This is an absolute pathetic excuse for a business.

Negative experience: This office has gone downhill since being bought out. I have gone there few a few years. Mostly good treatment. But always trying to oversell services. Every couple years there is a new dentist. Just recently I have been back with Major tental work. They have a new owner. Your phone calls go through a call center. Hard to understand them. Takes forever to get an appointment. Then on follow up call thet don't have any history. I am searching for a newoffice.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS OFFICE. These reviews misled me. Please check yelp for real reviews. Quick summary 1. Can’t reach the office directly, just a call center that may not be in the country 2. Would not do a cleaning on the first visit even though this is what I had scheduled 3. Did unnecessary x-rays 4. Recommended unneeded, bloated treatment which was confirmed by a second dentist. Perfect Teeth was going to drill out a tooth for a cavity that the second dentist said did not exist. Longer Summary: 1. Went to office for a cleaning. They would not do a cleaning since I was a new patient and forced me do new x-rays even though they were taken at another dental office 8 months earlier. Was told I have a cavity (haven’t had a cavity in 30+ years) and that I needed a “deep” cleaning”. Later that day I was sent a very bloated treatment plan (including $26 fluoride rinse, $60 irrigation with medicinal agent, and $162 delivery of antimicrobial agents) that would cost about $400 out of pocket even though I have very good dental insurance. 2. Called them 3 times to discuss this but always reached an answer center that may not even be in the country. They said they would have the office reach out to me. They never did. 3. Came to the appointment a week later and asked the manager to explain the treatment plan. This took about 15 min so they said I had now missed my appointment and would have to wait 2 hours. I cancelled everything and asked them to send me my x-rays. Filled out the x-ray release form. 4. X-rays were never sent. I was billed for them. Called to ask again several days later. Actually reached the office and they said they would email the x-rays to me and my other dentist by the end of the day. They never did. 5. I wrote a review on google and they responded with an automatic general response and still never sent me the x-rays. 6. Went to another dentist. They took new complete x-rays and said they would not charge me because of the problems I had with Perfect Teeth. Dentist said there was NO cavity and did a regular cleaning. Covered 100% by my insurance. Their response: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how frustrating it can be when expectations aren’t met, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We are always striving to improve and your input plays an important role in helping us do so." My response: So, are you ever going to send me my x-rays? Filled out the paperwork in your office on Dec 19th to release the x-rays to me via email. They never came. Called the office on Dec 23rd and the manager said they would email them by the end of the day. It's Dec 29th and I have still not received them. Your generic response is beyond empty and I assume only AI generated since you made no attempt to rectify the issue. Thanks so much "Owner" of Perfect Teeth, Loveland. Fantastic experience: Thought the staff was great, service was also but I was disappointed at the new policy of mandatory XRay, my policy is every 5 Years, nothing to do with experience and I do have a Science background. The new policy is a drawback for me.

Negative experience: After two weeks of trying to reach someone in the office (which was easy to do before the Brident takeover), I kept being sent to the call center. I was experiencing worse pain after the procedure and wanted to know what to do; all I wanted was to talk to the dentist who performed the work. I tried calling about 30 times, but the call center was unhelpful and gave me the run-around. I also tried emailing and using the emergency number but encountered the same issues: the call center couldn't connect me to the office. There is no way to contact the office, and the call center is misinformed and malfunctioning and screwed up my appointments - and I had to wait a month to get back in due to their fault! I eventually had to take time off work to drive across town. When I finally spoke to the receptionist (who was sweet and understood my frustration), she informed me that their computer systems were down and promised to call me later that day or the next to schedule an appointment for Friday. That call never happened despite my providing all my information. I even asked if a doctor could look at it quickly to ensure there was no infection - nope, no dentist was in the office that day. And do they want to close the Fort Collins office and bring them to this site? Good luck getting in and promptly - even in an emergency. They hadn’t informed me that I might need adjustments after the procedure, and they usually schedule follow-ups, but that didn’t occur either. The office manager was rude and condescending, arguing when I mentioned that I hadn’t been told about needing an adjustment. They also changed my dentist without notifying me, and now it's nearly impossible to get an appointment for months, which was never an issue before. You can save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Brident has ruined this office since its takeover. I have used it for many years prior takeover, but sadly, I will be going elsewhere, as will my family and friends. I would not trust the new appluasing reviews. Even the office stated they have had a ton of complaints about not getting in quickly, bad call center service. I know how the game is played.

Positive experience: There was a fairly long wait but at least this time I did eventually get in. Making the impression for my partial went well. My only complaint is that the gunk from the impression mold was not cleaned off of my face or mouth.

Fantastic experience: I really hate dealing with the your answering/scheduling service. It’s terrible. You go round and round with stupid people. They don’t call you back when they say they will. But the in-office care is better and Michelle and her assistant were excellent. I did go round with one incredibly stupid scheduler but since the staff has changed every time I go in I probably won’t have to deal with her again. I’ve been trying to get partial plates for 2 years. Maybe they can make it happen this year! I’ve seen three dentists come and go in the last two years and one of them pulled almost all of my teeth to get me ready for partials then left me hanging, looking like a hillbilly for the last two years. Now that I think about it I believe I may just look around for a more organized, more professional, more efficient, and more patient-friendly dental office who are actually able to retain their staff. The hygienist is the only employee I’ve ever seen more than once in three years. That’s pretty telling isn’t it?

Negative experience: This place is the worst , they have canceled my cleaning appointments 3 times already after requesting PTO from work , waiting months for a new appointment available, and confirming repeatedly the appointments through text. The person who called me to cancel this last time , super nasty. I’ve been a patient for years, I’m gone for sure. Don’t waste your time here.

Negative experience: This review is solely about Perfect Teeth's move to being part of the Brident Dental Group. This change has destroyed any customer service Perfect Teeth once had. At least 90% of the time you can no longer call the local office and speak to someone. If you call the local number, it will ring for 30 seconds, and then you will be transferred to some international call center. If you have any question other than setting up a basic appointment, they will then put you on hold, and tell you they're calling the local office for you. Of course they again won't answer, which is why you're in this situation to begin with. Then the call center representative will literally tell you to call back later. How is that any sort of a workable system?? And if you ask them to leave a message, they will reluctantly agree, but you will never receive a call back. It's terrible, even by typical giant corporation standards. It's to the point where I physically have to drive to the office to be able to speak to anyone who has the slightest idea of how to assist me. The situation is bad enough that our family is considering leaving after more than a decade. The staff and doctors are great, but the current system makes even getting to see them extremely difficult. Update 6/2024: No improvement whatsoever. Just spoke with someone in their overseas call center for 20 minutes trying to set up an appointment. They then put me on hold while they tried to call my local office. After five minutes they said they couldn't reach them, and I should try to call back and start over in 20-30 minutes. Truly unacceptable customer service. Reducing my rating to one star. Oh, and if you saw their reply to my original review - I did fill out their form. Did they ever follow up with me? Of course not.

Fantastic experience: I have a breastfeeding baby at home I had to bring all my kiddos and my mother in law to watch them in the waiting room while I got 5 cavities filled. They let me breast feed him after I got numbed up so my baby would sleep the rest of the time. They are always so kind to my little ones and make a very stressful situation easier. Definitely recommend them.

Negative experience: I had extractions in October 2023 and supposed to have root canals and dentures. I have called and called but no one seems to know where anything is. I have been promised calls back. Not one time have they called me. 6 months of begging and now I am out of options. Now I have no dental insurance.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extraction this morning. The staff were responsive and personable. Dr. Douglas Hardy, Periodontist, was friendly and attentive. He explained everything and asked if I had any questions. He was precise and proficient. I highly recommend him.

Negative experience: Completely disorganized. Had an appointment booked a month out (which they confirmed with me two separate times including the day before) and when I go in they say there are no dentists there and I need to reschedule another month out. The whole office takes 2 hour lunch breaks at the same time so calling in to make an appointment gets forwarded to a call center that is trash. Finding a new dentist office as this one has gone downhill.

Negative experience: I guess I'll be seeking a different dentist. I been calling and calling and all I keep getting from the call center is " they must be busy and can't pick the phone ". No option to have them call you back or anything. Meanwhile I need to have the dentist finish up and I can't even get an appointment made. Not sure how this happens in 2024 but I'm just going to go to a different company.

Negative experience: I'm perplexed as to why the VA collaborates with this establishment! After diligently securing an appointment for a cleaning that took an extensive period to arrange, I found out they attempted to cancel it a day prior through a voicemail I unfortunately missed. Upon arriving for my appointment, I was informed about the cancellation due to their policy requiring an exam and x-rays from their doctor, despite already being under the care of a VA dentist and having undergone prior x-rays. The core issue here was their failure to obtain necessary records from the VA until the eleventh hour, despite being aware of my VA status for weeks when the appointment was scheduled. What compounded the frustration was their dismissive attitude when I expressed my disappointment after taking a day off and enduring a month-long wait for this appointment. Not only do I strongly believe the VA should reconsider their association with this facility, but I caution others to think twice before placing their trust in their care.
