My husband had the most wonderful experience with his dental work did not feel it when his tooth was pulled, my son is under care here as well he has anxiety and fear of dentist and here he’s very relaxed and willing to get his dental work as needed.

Fantastic experience: Today l went to Seablue dental for an appointment. l have always been afraid of dentists from the first time that l went to one. Today, l went for my appointment to get a tooth pulled and a bone graft for an implant that l am going to get.. This task was completed by Dr. Shem and l felt absolutely no pain...AMAZING.. I was impressed with there care and concern about how l was doing throughout this entire procedure...After it was all over, they were extremely thorough about showing me how to take care of myself in the comming few days...l was very impressed and would have given them a 12, but a 5 was all that is available for grading...If you have been afraid of dentists for a long time, like l have been, go to Seablue dental in Kent, Wa.. I believe they will change your mind...

Negative experience: Went there a hour early checked in ..waited quietly to be seen ..my appointment was at 11:00..then a lady walks in they call her before me ..that let me know that they show favorites .so I got up and left..plus they have no restroom.now i got to call my insurance to make sure they don't charge me..cause that's how businesses are they'll atentionally ignore you on your visit and try to still charge your insurance even if they don't see you..

I'm glad I did and im glad it was here, everyone thats helped has been great from the first person through the last during the visits I needed to catch up on cavities and whatnot after years and years of heavy smoking. After having quit smoking and coming here my mouth and teeth feel so much better and... solid. I actually look forward to the follow up visits they are very prompt to remind me of to keep ahead of things.

Negative experience: I now have PTSD from a dentist at this location, I haven’t seen a dentist in years because I physically cannot bring myself to go in after the physical abuse I was forced to endure during an appointment here. Previously I had never had an issue going to the dentist, I am now having to take Xanax to be able to sit in the chair. This abuse happened while an assistant sat and watched me cry and plead for someone to stop what was happening to me.

Negative experience: When I came to Seablue after my pregnancy (hasn’t had a cleaning in over a year at that time) I explained to them my anxiety and how much dental trauma I’ve had in the past and a lot of dental work (getting implants done at a young age) etc and I’ve had very bad experiences other places. I voiced that to them when scheduling and was told I’d be well taken care of, when I came in and filled out the form, it again asked the following questions - if I have dental anxiety, etc so again I put yes. I was then taken back to the room, I was asked how my day was going - I told her it was going good but I was feeling anxious about the exam cause I hadn’t had a cleaning for a bit. She acknowledged my worries and proceeded to put some numbing gel all along my bottom line (didn’t even tell me what she was doing) and then tells me to wait until it starts working, she then points to me the handheld dental sucker, and how to use it if I started drooling. She said she had to go on break and the doctor would be in soon. 10 minutes goes by, and I am drooling all over myself excessively, and I was not given any kind of tray so It’s just falling all over my clothes. I reached around to try to work the sucker device and tried my best to clean myself up with a tool I have no idea how to use. I watched other techs walk past the room and make eye contact and not even ask me if I was doing okay. It took 15 minutes for the dr to come in and then realized what had happened? She proceeded with the cleaning/filling was fine (since I was completely numbed up) and after my appt, I get told to go to the front desk to set up my next appt. I go to the front desk and I can feel drool just sitting in my mouth piling up, trying to explain to the front desk I’d like to schedule later since I couldn’t really talk. I then got to my car and realized how much blood was actually in my mouth and couldn’t control wanting to spit. They didn’t put any gauze in my mouth to help with that at all. These kind of experiences make me extremely fearful of ever wanting to go back to the dentist. People should not be alone to handle tools themselves, especially when explained may times how nervous I was to be there. That is why I never returned for the second half of the cleaning for my top. I will have to find a new place, all over again, in hopes that someone will truly care and listen to me. Hopefully no one else has ever experienced this.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with Dr Karan Khatkar. Me and my wife recently went to the office to get her cap recemented . But Dr Khatkar ignored the reason why we went to the office . Instead he took her x-rays without her consent and advised some fillings which we refused . At the end of her appointment he charged her more than 580$ . We still don’t know why he charged so much and nothing was done (my wife’s cap was not fixed ). We actually had to go to a different office and spend $100 to get it fixed. For me they also tried taking x- rays without my permission/ consent . The assistant even attempted to do some polishing but I refused. The doctor didn’t bother to explain what he was doing and why. They still charged me 411$ for the appointment without getting anything done. I will not recommend going to him .

Fantastic experience: Went here for the first time as a walk in with my wife, while she was getting her exam I asked the front desk lady for more information about there services and she was able to get me in right after my wife. I got a cleaning and X-rays that same moment ! The whole staff was fast and friendly. Will definitely stay at this dental office for any future dental work. I am looking forward in getting my teeth whitened here as well!
