Not only the procedure was explained but even how my insurance coverage works . Honestly, never had such a complete , professional experience at the dentist office . Not to mention the affordable dental care . I came from Napa (1.5 hours away) and now that I found Dr. Jacobo and his team , I will keep it as my favorite dentist

Fantastic experience: My first visit to "gotta smile dentistry" was amazing!! My dental assistant was fantastic, very gentle while doing my X-rays and explained everything to me in terms that I understood. My Dentist was amazing as well in taking care of me, explaining the upcoming procedures and different options available to me. I am looking forward to my upcoming visits. I have returned for my third appointment. My lower denture plate fitting and color choice was done today. I was made aware that because I have extensive work to be done it was going to take several visits. Today's visit we were able to pick the perfect color for my lower denture plate which is going to look amazing. I am very happy that I have a dental assistant and a dentist that appear to be perfectionists, I DO NOT mean that in a bad way at all. I am lucky that they are paying such close attention to everything, it's truly amazing. In the days ahead I am scheduled for 5 extractions, 3 bone grafts (which terrify me) and then the final touch will be my beautiful lower dentures. After my extractions and bone grafts I will be back to write another review.But so far I am VERY VERY HAPPY with everyone at Gotta Smile Dentistry. I definitely have the "A" team. I believe that everyone there is the "A" team. February 19th 2026 I went in to have my lower denture fitted. I still had 5 lower teeth and a horrible toothache. So, the dentist asked me if I wanted those teeth pulled, heck yeah I do!! He numbed me up REALLY good. I've had teeth pulled before and always felt pain while they were being extracted so I was prepared for that but, I FELT NO PAIN when he pulled those 5 teeth!! I am beyond thankful and very appreciative of this Dentist numbing me so well. I'm looking forward to picking up my lower denture in a couple weeks. I highly recommend "Gotta Smile Dentistry". EXCELLENT Dentists, Dental Assistants and Office personnel!! ❤️❤️❤️ March 11th 2026 I had a wonderful visit today to try my new lower dentures. My amazing Dentist made a few adjustments in office and I came home with absolutely BEAUTIFUL bottom teeth!! I have to go back next week and possibly a couple more times for adjustments which is fine with me because this process cannot be rushed. I'm looking so forward to the final visit when my Dentist has perfected the fit and comfort. I have ABSOLUTE faith in my Dentist and I KNOW he is going to make sure I have comfortable, pain free, perfect fitting beautiful lower denture. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with my Dentist and all the other wonderful friendly people in the office. I HIGHLY recommend Gotta Smile Dentistry on Robinhood in Stockton. June 12 2026 My last appointment for my permanent lower denture plate. I am beyond satisfied with the end result. Super fantastic work done by everyone in this office. Perfectly match my top teeth in color. They are very comfortable and they stay in place without having to use poli-grip. I absolutely love everyone that works in this Dental office, they are always very friendly and very willing to address any discomfort no matter how minute it may be. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. I appreciate the 100% attention to detail and perfection they practice.

Negative experience: Came here in the fall and was told that a deep cleaning would cost me $600 out of pocket, and that's with my insurance! I called my insurance and they agreed that that was very high. When I confronted them about it they were very reluctant to send over the requested detailed documents. I'm so glad I didn't go through with it because I found another dentist that is only charging me $169! In my opinion this place tried to scam me; stay far away from them.

Fantastic experience: I needed emergency help, I was in pain and I called my dentist office and was treated right away. I needed my tooth pulled and was afraid of the shots, but the assistance and warm voices of concern helped me to relax and the percudure was done in no time. I was in excellent hands.

I had Alex as an assistant and he made me feel very comfortable, he kept asking me if I had any questions or concerns. He knows what he’s doing you can tell he loves his job. Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment and cleaning with Dr. Alma Fonseca and it was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Dr. Fonseca was incredibly gentle, very knowledgeable, and she made me feel completely comfortable. While I was waiting, I watched her attend to an older woman, and the patience, kindness, and genuine compassion she showed touched me. It was clear she treats every patient with the same level of respect and care. My teeth have never felt cleaner, but beyond that, the whole experience made me feel safe and understood. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares, listens, and goes the extra mile, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Fonseca more. She’s amazing!! Thank you, Dr. Fonseca!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Badillo — best decision ever! My daughter was supposedly in need of major dental work. I went to a 2nd dentist who gave me hope, but after two months of waiting for the appointment to move forward, nothing happened(thank God). I decided to see Dr. Badillo and was able to get in quickly. He reviewed everything and found that most of the work we were told was needed actually wasn’t. I’m so thankful for his honesty and integrity.

Fantastic experience: Best dental appt in a long time! Everything from scheduling the appointment to filling out the paperwork online which is super convenient and getting checked in was very efficient. All of the staff are super friendly and really took time to explain what was happening next, etc. I had a lunchtime appointment, which was really nice so I did not have to miss work. I had full x-rays scaling, cleaning and a check up and was there for just a little over an hour which I thought was awesome. My hygienist was Sabrina and she was great. I knew I was in very good hands. She used numbing gel to do the cleaning because my gums can be sensitive and this was the first time I did not have to stop someone from scaling and cleaning! What a relief. Great office and patient care. Feeling very grateful.

Fantastic experience: update @01-07-2025 I continue to feel bless to be able to come here. I feel so nervous going to dentist and doctors. But these girls are so professional but also KIND. I had an emergency and I was able to come in that same morning and they took care of me. UPDATE: I got to say, every time I come here I'm pleasantly surprised. Maybe because people are getting so impatience and rude around us. I feel that I will be treated the same here like everywhere else. However, everyone is so kind. Which I know we should we more concern with their level of professionalism and their level of skills WHICH THEY DO HAVE. But in these times where everywhere is cold. I feels best to be treated with kindness. The dentist along with all their staff speak to you softly and make sure you're doing alright as they work on your mouth. Not only did they see me the day after I called for an appointment they also connected me to financial help to pay for my treatment. TOTALLY RECOMAND THIS PLACE. OLDER REVIEW: That's it. No doubt about it. These people are angels. So kind to the point of wiping your tears for you !!! I was so out of it due to the pills and gas but I could still feel the care they do their work with. Pleasantly Surprised. Been coming here for about 2 years. Always had a great experience. Being a person who is pretty terrified of needles, or anything that gives you pain, I always get super nervous visiting these kind of facilities. HOWEVER, gottasmile will take good care of you. Not only are they knowledgeable and seem to love what they do (regardless if the doc is young of a bit older) they truly show they care for their patients. Their staff too, are very friendly (besides the fact that they know what they are doing). Will continue to come here without a doubt.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Gotta Smile Dentistry through a patient that takes her children and self there. I was skeptical at first switching to a new dental office but the receptionist impressed me by getting me a next day emergency appointment. At the appointment, the dental assistant was very kind, making me feel comfortable as well as the dentist. He figured out the tooth issue and I was scheduled to have my next procedure done a few days later. Clean establishment as well and easy location to find.

Fantastic experience: I just want to preface this by saying I haven't been to the dentist in 10+ years, Earlier this morning, I went in, checked in, and the positivity was so comforting; I honestly felt at home. I got a tour of the place, had an exam, and was lucky enough to get an extraction the same day. (I wouldn't say surgery = lucky, but the fact I didn't have to reschedule was very convenient since I only went in for an exam/x-rays). The staff is very comforting, polite, and they even made probably one of the scariest procedures not so scary. Even as they were extracting my tooth, they just kept making sure I was as comfortable as I could be and telling me that I was going to be alright. What felt like an eternity of clicks went by smoothly in less than 10 minutes, and they made sure I was golden before checking me out and sending me home. I hate the dentist, but this might be one of the best affordable ones in Stockton. I will recommend them to all my friends and family in the 209 because there's no way we have a gem like this, and this wasn't the first recommended dentist to me. I don't think I can say enough, but hopefully, whatever you go in for, just know no matter what, this dentist office will help you smile again.

They go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful experience and all of your dental needs are addressed. I went in to inquire about Invisalign, as I wanted to close several small gaps in my teeth and also a chipped tooth. They walked me through the entire process and answered all my questions. A few months later, my teeth are straight, the chips are fixed, and I am extremely happy with my results! And I highly recommend Gotta Smile to anyone!
