Negative experience: My family was a regular customer at the Elk Grove location. They did not have an open appointment so I made an appointment for my daughter at the Lodi location. The entire family was using oak tree dentist. I had a bad experience in the Lodi location. My daughter had to wait there for 2 hours just for a cleaning and exam. There customer service was very poor. I called them back to ask why my daughter's appointment took two hours. I talked to the manager(her name is Shella) she was rude and had a bad attitude without an explanation. She was not looking to solve the problem I had with the service. The next day I called the Elk Grove office and they informed me that they no longer wanted to serve my family. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received in my life!!!! I DO NOT recommend oak tree dental to anyone. They are very arrogant and the Dr. Literally spends like 30 seconds with you for exam and only has you open your mouth for like 10 seconds. This is the worst dental practice in Lodi!

I didn’t feel any pain at all during the entire cleaning It was actually the first time I’ve ever had a cleaning that didn’t hurt! Fantastic experience: Great experience at Oak Tree Dentistry in Lodi! My husband and I went in to get our x-rays and teeth checked out today. It had been a very long time since we had been to a dentist. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. They were very up front about costs, and they even showed us images of our teeth on the screen attached to the ceiling, so I could lay back in the chair and see the X-rays of my teeth while they were explaining the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: My daughter and I came in for exams, and the doctor seemed quite arrogant and confident with his findings yet mostly every time my daughter came in to get Treated, It seemed like there was a new issue with her teeth a couple weeks later. The biggest concern was he would point out issues with certain teeth, but then a couple of weeks later To treat those teeth, he would say that there were no issues with those teeth based off of his new findings and that there were new discoveries with new teeth That were never identified previously and needed to be treated. Wouldn’t you think it is odd if a confident dentist says that you have cavities and other issues in a certain area of your mouth and then you go in to get those treated all to find out that that particular area of the mouth is fine now but that there are new issues which I understand, but within a couple of weeks later those were never Pointed out during those previous appointments?? he’s not really thorough and rushes through the exams and treatments and so forth. I must say when we first got there as new patients we were treated quite kind and with respect. After a couple of visits thereafter, it seemed like he was so focused on new patients arriving and trying to rush through my treatment. I could tell that they were new patients because as he would be working on my mouth, he would be speaking with office staff very quietly saying oh are those new patients?Also, It seemed like every time we went in he would be confident about a particular area that needed to be fixed within my daughter‘s mouth, but then would later change the findings just a couple of weeks later. It is hard for me to believe that when we go in and are told that she has a cavity on the upper part of her mouth and then a couple of weeks later to go in to treat said cavity that that particular cavity is no longer on the upper part of her mouth??? and that it is now on the bottom of her mouth? There were times where I had to take calls outside of my daughter‘s visit and without consenting with me, would speak to my daughter about the new findings and proceeded to Treat those findings without consulting me or bringing it to my attention, and my daughter is still technically a minor. During my visit, I never actually cried after leaving a dentist office Before, but this time I did not because of the pain, but more or less the way he made me feel. It’s quite interesting The number of good reviews that this dental office has. I will say on the positive side it is very clean. Most of the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. However, it was disappointing In the actual dentist himself. I guess it depends on who he treats gets really great experiences. I’m not really for sure why we were treated differently. I won’t really go there with saying possibly maybe feeling a bit discriminated against. But I can’t really go off of that. I just never was made to feel comfortable with him. Even after several visits for my daughter treatment, he would walk in the room and not even acknowledge my existence, he would just talk to my daughter and always seemed very arrogant and dismissive. You might ask why did I continue to go to see him? Well it was because of trying to find other quality dentist and the one in the past told me that I had eight cavities but this dentist and Lodi said I didn’t have that many cavities as I was trying to go in to get a second opinion And I later discovered that I had Gum issues and needed to have a couple of crowns put in so I didn’t want to keep finding a new dentist because I was so focused on trying to have my mouth treated! The dental hygienist is what saved me from overall abandoning that place because they were really good at what they did and made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Called on a Monday they scheduled me on Tuesday got a few x-rays I needed 2 fillings fixed, got em fixed and I am very satisfied with the process, fantastic personal and dentist, top dentist office

Fantastic experience: I showed up on time and the admin secretary was welcoming There was absolutely no waiting. The technician was very warm and up beat, and took me in and sat me down right away. She inquired about any issues I may have had. Very skilled conversationalist, alongside the mastery of her trade. Never once was my cleaning painful, or even uncomfortable. Like a careful surgeon she was efficient and attentive. Pleasant conversation throughout, and pretty much a fun experience. I don't believe I have ever said that about a dentist office before.

Fantastic experience: OMG this place literally took care of me and got me ready for a crown procedure on my first visit!! A week ago I began feeling tooth discomfort from drinking cold/hot fluids and upon bringing the issue to my current dentist they recommended a root canal procedure and few other things ! Unfortunately they quoted me excessively high and out of pocket that I needed to look elsewhere!!! After emailing 5 other dental office only oak tree dentistry at Lodi reach out back to me!! I forgot the doctors name but he was amazing!! He help me with my problem and advise me that no root canal is needed because a crown will do the trick !! The best part was that it was very affordable! The staff was great and with my temporary crown I can finally drink fluids without pain!! This place is amazing !!! Can't wait to go back for my permanent tooth crown!!

Simply, a challenge for any dental practice. Although we did not succeed to the level desired. I saw a level of effort from dentist, to dental assistant, that was phenomenal. We also were given feedback as to next steps, and referrals. We hope to come back one day soon and repeat this experience!

Fantastic experience: I'm literally petrified of the dentist! The last few I've tried using were really rough and had terrible bed side manner. So I was very worried about trying out another new dentist office but I'm so glad I did!! Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. I let them know I was scared and shared some of my bad experiences and they were a dream to work with!! When they were going over my treatment plan I was shocked at how low the estimate was compared to other dentist office USING THE SAME INSURANCE! It was seriously mind blowing that you were getting such wonderful caring service and an extremely affordable cost. Then when it came time to the truly scary part (the treatment) I was lucky enough to have Arsh as my hygienist (not sure if that's the correct job title for her). She did my x-rays and my deep cleaning and honestly SO SWEET! She was gentle, checked multiple times to make sure that I wasn't feeling any pain and was still numb. I truly was shocked at how smooth this whole process was. This was my first time leaving a dental office and not being devastated or embarrassed. The whole staff really helped make me feel like I was in a safe place and they were there to help make my smile beautiful again. Thank you sooooo much to all the staff the helped me, but mostly thank you to Arsh! You are truly a beautiful person inside & outside and I'm so blessed that you were there to help me today.
