Fantastic experience: In July 2021 I walk in the doors expecting another letdown as I was at my last resort for finding a solution to my dental problems. Not to get into details, but everyone that I had gone to at this point had turned me away because they were afraid of the possibility of breaking my jaw in the removal of my remaining teeth. To my surprise Dr. G was not concerned at any time and proceeded to complete the surgery. To this day I’m still wearing the dentures that were made for me and they are working great!! Well when my wife’s partial come up missing, I didn’t hesitate to return and we were very lucky to have the chance to work with Dr. G again for the last time. As before everyone working that day was amazing!!!

Negative experience: Service sucked I wanted basic dentures and dentist want to do a root extraction the root has been there since I had my teeth removed hasn't bothered anyone else from making dentures worst dental place I've been to with that kind of service everything should be free

Fantastic experience: Everything went smooth. The dental assistant was very nice and helpful, the dentist was very nice and good as well as the receptionist. I had 7 teeth pulled and an X-ray for under $1200 with no insurance and the whole visit took an hour.

Negative experience: Called to see if they had child size impression plates. Receptionist did not know what I was talking about even after I explained what I needed. Odd, they specialize in--DENTURES and don't know what impression plates are. I asked if this was Affordable Dentures. She answered yes, then brushed me off by not wanting to answer the rest of my questions. I hung up and went somewhere else.

Negative experience: Not impressed. Husband came down with a raging tooth infection over the weekend, nobody could see him, and there was a bad ice storm, travel not advised. So I started him on some left over antibiotics I had at the house. But I didn't have enough antibiotics to do a full course. We made an appointment on the portal that weekend to see Affordable Dentures and Implants in CR first thing Tuesday morning. After calling around and nobody could get him in, I settled for this place because we knew he was going to need extractions, and he was interested in implants or dentures. This place advertised on the main page they do it all...only for him to miss work, drive an hour up there (he had an appointment mind you) only to be told they really aren't taking on any new patients, (you really need to advertise that your clinic is NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS on your website) and in addition to that, your office didn't offer to treat the infection, only lectured him for taking the pills we had at home...like seriously...what were our options? Can't these people be held liable for that? I will continue to Doctor him from home, I found more antibiotics for him to do at least a ten day course...and we got him an appointment with a more local Dentist, but yet again, they can't see him for a month because they are so booked up. I just don't understand our health care system. Thank God I had something to treat my husband at home, tooth infections can spread to the brain, the heart. Scary stuff. Sorry for the rant, I have nothing good to say.

Negative experience: My dentures broke in half down the middle of my full plate, within the warranty period. Called them up to figure out next steps regarding warranty. Person who answered the phone said that the warranty only covers "defects" and not drops. However, if a full plate of dentures falls from a height of less than 12 inches and literally BREAKS IN HALF, that to me is a defect. For them to repair it, they want $250. I thought the point of spending thousands of dollars on dentures was to have a better warranty and craftsmanship. BUYER BEWARE. Never getting dentures from these people again, and in the meantime I'm going to buy my own denture repair kit for $7 and do it myself. Terrible service, terrible craftsmanship, terrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I recently had molar needing pulled. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The tooth was in very bad shape, the doctor was able to extract it in one piece. I highly recommend this be your first choice for dental work.

Fantastic experience: I recently had several teeth pulled to be able to get a full set of dentures. My main issue was that I'm on blood thinners. The dentist coordinated with my doctor before the extraction to keep my bleeding risk as low as possible. The dentist even called me the next day to check on how I was doing. Overall, great experience and great value.

Fantastic experience: Dr G was absolutely a pleasure to work with. The overall demeanor of the staff was very friendly and willing to talk about issues to make sure that I knew exactly what to expect and allowed me to make my decisions based on information. As far as the work done I had eight extractions done to get fitted for dentures on my top and the whole extraction process after the initial casting took less than 7 minutes. Recommended.

Negative experience: If I was able to leave 0 stars I would have! Been having issues with them after having my teeth extracted. I drive almost 2 hrs one way to go to them. The immediate dentures didn't fit right away, been without them for about 3 months now and they still don't fit. They re-aligned them, and they still don't fit properly. Dentist said I'd be able to get my money back since they weren't correct fit. Agreed on that. Called there this morning to give them the card # I used to pay for them to get my money back and now ... I only get $140 back... Told the receptionist that wasn't gonna happen since id payed well over $700.00 and she hung up on me! Wth kind of service is this?! Very unhappy, would NOT recommend them!!

Fantastic experience: I had gotten dentures at another place about 2 years ago and haven't been able to wear them in spite of gone back half a dozen times for adjustment. I'd given up and decided to pay down the balance so I could get implants. I went into Affordable Dentures and was told I wasn't eligible, not enough bone left. I was terribly disappointed, want my smile back really badly. The doctor looked at my dentures, listened to my issues, adjusted the dentures and sent me on my way. At this point they've been in my mouth longer than they have ever been...it might actually work this time. Both the doctor and the assistant were very nice, informative and professional, I actually enjoyed this visit and hope the issue is fixed. If and when I ever need dentures again, I'm going here first. Thank you both.

Fantastic experience: Went for information on dental implants and false teeth. They were recommended by a friend and I can see why. They were great people explaining where my teeth were at and what the options were. They explained the process and the cost so even I could understand. I am in the middle of making a decision on what to do. If it is dentures. They will be my choice.

I've only needed to have two slight adjustments within the first month And a scheduled soft reline , since then, all is well… Oh yes, it has been a journey, but no regrets here ! Negative experience: Drove a hour and half and got there at 11. Sign in window said out yo lunch. Waited till 1 and called a different number and they were open about 15 minutes after I made the call. Wasn't happy with the time they spent on making sure of the fit.

Fantastic experience: I took my mother to get new dentures that she has needed for years. She has anxiety so it was a struggle to convince her to go. The staff put her at ease immediately. They made her comfortable and explained everything with her step by step. Her smile after they put her new set of dentures in was priceless!! She was so proud of them she sent a picture to everyone in the family!

Negative experience: This was the worst dental experience I have had in my life, and I am 63 years old. They charged me for for nitrous oxide, which was supposed to knock me out, but did nothing at all. They pulled 15 of my teeth, while my blood pressure was sky high, with not a concern. They just wanted their money. Then, they refused to see me anymore, and sent me an $1800 check, that will not begin to cover the cost of my final set of dentures. Please beware! Affordable Dentures, are, by all means, not affordable, and they are not honest. In my opinion, they are hacks, just trying to run you through the mill, and collect your cash. I hope this can help someone, before they get taken for $6200, like I did.

Positive experience: They were ok I guess, expect I got told that I could get a padding on my lower plate cause I don't have enough gum padding. And my bones are sticking out and that's why I'd wish I had more padding for my lower teeth.

Negative experience: Use to be a good place. I had to take off work to get new dentures made. I called ahead of time and made an appointment. I live clear across town on Blairs Ferry Rd. I had to take the bus to get to affordable dentures on the SW side next to walmart. It's raining and it's flipping cold outside. I get all the way there and get sign in just for them to tell me they don't except insurance anymore and it was going to cost me $775 .. why couldn't they tell that on the phone that they didn't take insurance anymore instead of wasting a half day of work and my time

Fantastic experience: These guys had great bedside manner and have me honest advice, so far they seem very skilled at what they do and gentle.

Positive experience: I had a number of teeth extracted. Procedure was very efficient, and took very little time. Once done they placed the upper and lower dentures they had made. While it wasn't totally pain free, once the novacane wore off I was very pleased with the entire experience.

Fantastic experience: I never leave reviews but I really want to share how amazing this team is! I just had full mouth extractions and immediates placed on the 8th. From the very first consultation they made me feel comfortable. I have had horrible teeth since I was 9 years old and they never once made me feel judged like many other places did. They listened to what I wanted the end result to be and they did everything they could to make it happen. The dentist is very friendly and understanding. He did amazing work. But the rock star of this team has to be kelsey! She was with me through my procedure and the only reason I stayed calm! She held my held, let me cry, talked to me and did it with such compassion. The other woman on the team (I apologize but I can not remember her name!) has also had so much compassion, I have already needed two adjustments and she has calmed through those and keeps reassuring me how much they are there to help. I am so happy with the end result and that I found this amazing team to get me through one of the hardest things I have been through.

Negative experience: Top point I want to make they told me it would cost me $90.00 for my xrays to go to my dentist to do the work this dentist could not do! OMG!!! I just went back to have basically the same work done that I did when I wrote the first feedback 3 years ago. Obviously they are pretty hard on help, the current help were unable to do the work, I mean untrained. If I haven't been a lab tech in a prior life and given her instruction I would have ended up with a complete fuster cluck! I still paid $300. that luckily is a spare. Besides that I went in for a full new lower and a if necessary reline or new upper to go with. Needless to say I got neither. Three Years Ago I went to the Cedar Rapids office of Affordable Dentures after a very bad and extremely expensive experience with Aspen Dental. Thank goodness I found them. Not only were they able to correct my problems they did so in a cost saving manner. Their techniques and lab work is state of the art. I know this because I was in the business. I asked many questions about their procedures and was more than satisfied with the answers and the outcome. Even introduced me to som products I wish had been available to me. The function is not only perfect but cosmetically they are 100% above Aspen.

Fantastic experience: I've had another wonderful experience at Affordable Dentures in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Was in at 8:00am for impressions and a short consultation. Out the door by 8:35am. I came back at 1:00 p.m. And had six extractions, and received my new dentures which I'm very pleased with! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs them and desires a quality experience.
