Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin and the entire team are amazing. Everything is explained in detail , the entire team is caring and thoughtful. I recently had 2 bone graphs and extraction , I was very comfortable , surgery went great. Received amazing after care calls to check on me. Best Doctor and team. I would never go anywhere else for my care. I highly recommend this team for you and your family.

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this experience deserved attention from the doctor and management team. My treatment itself has been fine, but my interaction with a staff member named Jennifer was disappointing. I received a reminder call for an upcoming appointment. When I called back and explained that I was unexpectedly out of the country and needed to reschedule, I was immediately met with a negative attitude. I was told that I had rescheduled multiple times, which is not accurate. I have only rescheduled once before, and I provided advance notice. What bothered me most was being made to feel guilty because the office would have to “go out of their way” to fill the appointment slot. While I understand scheduling can be challenging, that should not be communicated to patients in a way that feels accusatory or unprofessional. I was also told I could be charged a $400 fee. If the office requires three business days’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee, it seems reasonable that reminder calls should be made before that deadline passes, not after. Again, my issue is not with the doctor or the dental work. My concern is with the customer service experience and the way I was spoken to. Patients should be treated with professionalism and respect, even when scheduling changes are necessary. I hope management reviews this feedback and uses it as an opportunity to improve the patient experience.

Fantastic experience: Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery is awesome! They helped me out with a situation 6 years ago on my left side wisdom teeth, and now helped me with the same thing on my right side wisdom teeth. Started experiencing extreme pain from the tooth and called them up. They got me in for a quick consult and scheduled my wisdom teeth removal in a timely manner. On operating day, the procedure was flawless and now I'm in the recovery phase. In all my interactions with Dr Martin and his staff, everyone had been extremely helpful and pleasant. That's why I drove an hour to them even though I don't live near the office anymore. I can't recommend this office enough for your dental surgery needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin and his staff are amazing. The assistant that helped me on the day of my surgery was absolutely amazing. Kind, gentle and very professional. She explained every detail of what she was doing. I just wish I had gotten her name. She took care of me from start to finish. I am only on day 1 of recovery so far, but Dr. Martin did a wonderful job and I just hope it heals quickly. Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Martin and everyone at Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery was great. Everyone was so kind, patient and understanding from reception to the nurses and Dr. Martin himself. They made me feel comfortable and educated about the process I would go through for my wisdom teeth and why. The environment was clean and welcoming and my surgery went great. My bottom teeth were both impacted, but my swelling was minimal and my recovery time seems to be pretty short. Thank you all for an easy experience!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed and we had a wonderful experience. From day 1 when we had our first appointment they took care of everything promptly, doctor explained everything very clearly and reassuring. Pain medication prescription was sent to our pharmacy in advance. On a day of procedure everything was quick and as easy as it can get considering the procedure. We were sent home with good instructions.

Fantastic experience: Recently had unexpected dental implant surgery of which very aphrenrsive of. The welcome staff of whom only met Kim, Jennifer at front office were reassuring as well as Megan in X-rays and Heather and again Meghan in operating room. And the Rock Star of Doctor Daniel Martin at initial consultation reassured me the Swiss implant process would be his best advice of which have the tinniest size he made happen. And the operation was over in hours before I knew it as sedation was almost spa like and calming. Again the staff from start to finish was excellent and Dr. Daniel was amazing his expertise and reassurance in consultation through surgery and soon follow up appointments as well. He’s an expert and so impressed by his care and concern and mannerism and promise of excellent results. So blessed to have him as my physician recommended by Granite Bay Dental Spa and lucky to have another’s cancellation appointment as well. 100 percent recommend Dr. Daniel Martin, his sincere care and concern is genuine and he’s the expert and can tell he loves what he does in genuinely reassuring success! Negative experience: My husband has been left with no teeth and metal posts in his mouth for almost two years now. The trauma this has put him through is unimaginable. I don’t wish that upon anyone. After several attempts to reach out we have been ignored. This office along with his partner practice is placing the blame on each other instead of doing what’s right and having humanity. It’s been extremely difficult on every member of our family to watch the pain and suffering my husband goes through on a daily basis. As a volunteer firefighter my husband was awarded the opportunity to “smile again” but instead he has been left even worse off than before. At least he could wear dentures before all this happened. On top of all of this they will not give out his full records. Every dentist we have met with after this has been unable to help and refers us back to the original dentist, this office. It’s absolutely heartbreaking.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Martin upon a referral from my regular dentist to have a tooth extracted. Dr. Martin was professional and personable, and provided 4 long term options post extraction. Dr. Martin explained the procedure and options in a clear, articulate, easy to understand manner. He was open to asking and answering questions to provide additional information to help me make the best decision for myself. We’ve begun treatment, tooth extracted and bone graft. The treatment was quick and painless. Also, kudos to the staff. All are very professional and reassuring. The office staff communicates well and gave advance notification about an insurance glitch with my carrier. The office and I were able to resolve the glitch with the carrier prior to my first treatment. I’m thankful for the staff help as this saves me time - less back and forth to get claims approved with the carrier post treatment. My personal dentist is amazing, I knew he would recommend the best oral surgeon and office for our family. Last year, my elderly mother-in-law, then 83, also needed some oral surgery treatment and she was referred to and visited Dr. Martin before my tooth mishap. She received excellent treatment, had an easy recovery, and her oral Heath has significantly improved - was really life changing post surgery. I’m grateful for all Dr. Martin did for my elderly mother-in-law. I’m looking forward to future positive changes with my final implant.

Fantastic experience: I came in for a consult on a cracked tooth. I received a full mouth scan, thorough consult, and tooth extraction with bone graft. The full mouth scan allows viewing the teeth in 3-D sections for a precise evaluation. Dr Martin was very personable and informative to all my questions. The implant is in my lower jaw and will osseointegrate over the next two and 1/2 months.Then I'll get a crown. I am so pleased with Dr Martin that I came back a second time. Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin was so knowledgeable and kind he took the time to explain my surgery and make sure all of my questions were answered. My surgery went smoothly and I had very little pain. The entire staff is so nice and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin removed 4 of my son's wisdom teeth at once. I was very worried that there might be complications. But the surgery went well. The anesthesia did not leave any side effects, there was no severe swelling and the pain was mild. I am very pleased with the professionalism of Dr. Martin and his team. I wish them success in their hard work.

Negative experience: The doctor and medical staff were excellent. I had a lump on my lip that was removed, didn't feel a thing. The issue I have is with the office staff. I had my consultation with Dr. Martin, went over expenses it was fine. I had called my insurance to see if they would cover the procedure and they were going to cover the majority of it. So I gave this office a call back to let them know, and they said that our insurance company would not cover it unless we did a biopsy as well. We went back and forth and decided to do a biopsy because it would be the cheaper route even though I didn't need it because I had an inkling on what it was. The office called me back and had to reschedule my surgery date due to them not hearing back from my insurance company just yet. (Keep in mind I hadn't even given them my insurance card just yet). We delayed it for another couple weeks and I had to call them to confirm that my insurance company had gotten back to them. Finally we get to the appointment, I had given them my insurance card and my credit card and was told it would be the full cost. I assumed I had to do that just to get my card in the system so they could have it on file for the insurance company to get the correct price. I thought this was all done and dealt with and 3 months later I get a bill from Scripps (the lab the sent it out to) stating I owe them including late fees. This was the first I had even heard of this, I was under the impression this was all taken care of. So now I have another 300$ bill from the lab and when I called to figure out what was going on I am told that my insurance company didn't cover the biopsy. She then sent me an email with a copy of the last page where I signed the 400$ fee for the procedure. I have attempted another two times to get ahold of this office so I can get the full agreement and list of procedures so I can call my insurance back and figure out whats going on to no response. I have left several voicemails without a call back. I just don't see how they were delaying my procedure due to not having a response from my insurance when they didn't even have my insurance card yet. Then when I contact my insurance company, they say that it was going to get covered without the biopsy, but the office says it won't be covered without the full biopsy, and now i've paid for the full price of the procedure because it wasn't covered by my insurance even though I had already been told it was going to? The whole reason I went through with the full biopsy was due to knowing it was going to be covered and all I had to worry about was the lab fee. Now i can't even do my own investigation due to not getting a response back.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Martin and his staff are amazing. I'd been trying to get my wisdom teeth out for over a decade and could never get it done. Not only was it affordable, but the care and patience they gave me was top tier. I literally feel like a new person and it hasn't even been two weeks yet. I broke down in tears from how happy I was and how much better I feel. I can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: I am an older patient and was nervous. . My whole experience was great. Everybody was so friendly and so knowledgeable and experienced. I was in and out in an hour.. Have had no problems with my recovery.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office made me feel at ease and not anxious in comparison to another oral surgeon I consulted with. Everyone in the office makes you feel relax and Dr. Martin is an incredible oral surgeon. Thank you for making it easy and painless. Fantastic experience: Was wonderful experience. Had my wisdom pulled out on a Friday. The healing was so fast that it surprised me. Bleeding stopped a few hours after surgery. The most pain I got after surgery was just a minor headache. I didn’t have to take my pain meds at all. Returned to work by Monday like normal. Truly this was the only dental experience I have had that did not traumatize me in the process. I would go there for every dental appointment if they didn’t just do surgeries. I rarely give any business reviews but this business surprised me in a good way. Highly recommend 100%.

The operation of removing the wisdom tooth went smoothly and I did not have any post-surgery complications and I did recover quickly. Fantastic experience: I had to get my impacted wisdom teeth surgically removed, which was nerve racking but all the staff & Dr. Martin were amazing in planning, care, and post op instructions. Any questions I had they answered it with a smile. Would absolutely recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful office, but thats not the point of going there. I am an old nurse, so I have worked with many Docters. He exibits all the superior traits of the best Docters I have had the chance to work with. My beloved Dentist Dr Snow recommended him. He is easy going, but carries the air of competence that makes you trust him. He has a plan ready, in his head, as soon as he sees your xrays. I felt immediately comfortable to ask him any questions, and he answered quitely and completely. I chose to be put to sleep. Old nurses know too much about things that can happen. Day of the surgery I felt comfortable with his excellent crew of assistants, and all the state of the art monitoring equipment. Drifted awake and he said "its all over." I walked to the recovery bed and walked out the door soon after. Two bone grafts and two implants all done. Only bad thing is that no teeth for a year. I chewed on the other side, and did not lose weight, lol. The implants, an the bone grafts, worked perfectly! Very happy I did this for myself. This guy is fantastic! Do yourself a favor and at least have a consult with him! I recommend him to all my nurse associates, that may need the kind of care and treatment, he provides.
