Experiencia fantástica: When I was a little kid, going to the dentist was always a pleasant experience because everyone was excited to see you and everyone took extra care to make you feel comfortable by making “scary” things not so scary. Of course, it’s easy to not be scared when nothing is wrong with your teeth aside from needing a routine cleaning and some x-rays. Since being a kid, I have not really had a dental experience where the dentist truly cares about your experience by putting in effort to make the “scary” things not so scary. When I walked in through the doors for the very first time on the day of my first appointment, I was completely taken back by how beautiful the space was. However, the thing that really left a lasting impression was how genuinely kind the staff was and how they brought back that feeling of going to the dentist when you were younger and the staff was excited to see you. I was so humbled by how kind and attentive everyone was from the people at the front desk, to the hygienists, to Dr. Kaplan himself. This was TRULY the thing that kept me coming back for my subsequent appointments. Sure, you can find a great dentist anywhere if you look hard enough but finding an entire staff of really wonderful people who want the best for you is rare! I initially went in for a cleaning but found out I needed some extra procedures to improve my oral health. I had never had a cavity so I did not know what to expect (I am also extremely afraid of needles and pain). Dr. Kaplan and his staff took extra time and care to really talk me through everything and make it as comfortable as possible while still maintaining total transparency every step of the way. The best part is that they never blame you, shame you, or make you feel bad for any deviations in your oral health. I initially went to Skyline Dental Designs because it was next door and convenient to get to, but I think that if I ever move away from the area that I will make the trip to come see Dr. Kaplan and his entire staff because they are simply the best. I highly recommend anyone in the Edgewater/Weehawken/Hoboken/Jersey City area to some see Dr. Kaplan and his staff. You absolutely will never regret it. Cavities, cleanings, root canals, implants... painful every time, during and after. Dentist visits were genuinely my worst nightmare. When I moved to New Jersey in 2022 I tried two other offices, one in Hoboken and one in Manhattan, and still wasn't happy. Then I found Skyline Dental Designs and Dr. Kaplan, and honestly everything changed. I've been coming here for over a year now and I cannot recommend this place enough. Whatever they're doing differently, it works. Going to the dentist now actually feels like a treat. That is not something I ever thought I would say. If you've had bad dental experiences your whole life like I have, this is the place. Dr. Kaplan and the team are the real deal.

His calm demeanor, precision, and most importantly, the speed in which he gets the work done, make even the most challenging procedure a breeze. And the entire team is warm, welcoming, and efficient. Today was my second of four scheduled visits and I have never waited for even a minute after arriving, which is especially helpful when nervous. The office is aesthetically beautiful and state of the art. I never thought I’d be raving about a dentist, but Skyline has changed my dental chicken ways. Oh…and the view from the chair is pretty sweet too!

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this place! I got root canal and crown for two teeth, both failed after two years! Now I need to extract one and get implant. Root canal was done on tooth #31 in 2022, it only last for 2 year and I had to extract it entirely and get implant in 2024. Crown was done on tooth #15 in the same year, and it was infected again on 2024 and I had to get root canal retreatment.

Experiencia fantástica: First let me just start by saying that Skyline dental is THE most beautiful dental office ever. Extremely clean and modern, so much so that even all of the equipment and supplies looked brand new. Prior to my first visit, the staff was outgoing and efficient in assisting with my booking (and reschedule). Reminders were sent as well, which was very helpful. I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival and was seen quickly for my cleaning by Ianca, who provided exceptional service. My cleaning was delightful, no pain or discomfort. Ianca was also very helpful in answering some questions. Dr. Kaplan was extremely polite and thorough in his examination. He took his time to explain in detail his treatment plan with me. Becca took her time in assisting me following my exam to coordinate my next booking and also explained in more detail expectations and specifications regarding my follow-up. Overall would a thousand percent recommend Skyline Dental. Great team. Thank you so much.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had my first appointment at Skyline Dental, and could not have asked for a more overall positive experience. The office itself is immaculate. Rebecca at the front desk was helpful leading up to my appointment with scheduling back and forth and understanding payment options etc. On my actual visit, Daniella who did my cleaning and Dr. Kaplan were both so kind, patient and informative. Having had some poor experiences in the past, they both made me feel empowered in the decisions to be made about my path forward with my dental health that was not alarmist or sales-pitch like. Overall, there was not a negative part of this visit. I am looking forward to continuing to work with Dr. Kaplan and his team. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who have had trouble in the past feeling comfort with their dentists.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here after seeing really great photos of veneer work on the Skyline Dental Instagram. Dr. Kaplan is down-to-earth and really easy to talk to and work with. I ended up going forward with Invisalign, a Kor Whitening treatment, and cosmetic work on 2 teeth, and I’m so very happy with my new smile! The office is beautiful with a great view, very clean, and Rebecca at the front desk always makes you feel welcome and creates a fun and friendly vibe when you arrive. 5 stars! :)
