What really stood out was how accommodating they were- even called me after hours to check in and make sure I was getting the help I needed. The exam room had a TV that kept my son entertained, My son loved the little gift he got, and the team was so sweet to my other son, who wasn’t even being seen that day. We entered the office at 5:40pm, saw Dr. Goldsmith, got x-rays, and were out the door by 5:59pm!! This includes the two magic tricks and balloon animal that Dr. Goldsmith performed after the visit! A+++ 100% recommend!

I called just before they were about to close and they happily squeezed us in last minute. We were in and out in 20 minutes- very New York! Welcome bag, tour, X-rays, exam and consultation with the doctor, and thorough explanation about his imaging, condition, and what to expect. Topped off with a balloon animal and magic tricks from Dr Goldsmith himself. Dr G is an absolute gem and so is his staff. They were so kind, compassionate, and absolute professionals. You can tell Dr G LOVES what he does and cares deeply about his patients. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. I cannot recommend this practice enough!!!

One time, my young son was in terrific pain at 10:00 at night, and Dr. Goldsmith met us at his office and got him out of pain right then and there! We had the privilege of meeting him for the very first dental visit of our firstborn son. As much as the reason for our visit was emotionally draining, our entire family left the office with sincere admiration for the utmost professionalism and genuine care for all little patients. Dr. Goldsmith easily comforted our little boy, who is usually very anxious even for something trivial like cutting his nails or hair. Every step of the exam was completed with very detailed explanation of what’s to follow, why and the result. To say that we were taken aback by the diagnosis would be a huge understatement. We never imagined that our son would have any tooth issues considering his absolutely healthy diet and dental hygiene. Here’s the place to note that Dr. Goldsmith was both the expert, and the person with the kindest heart who put in the focus of the treatment plan our little boy and how he would feel. Dr. Goldsmith was very generous with his time and explained in detail everything we wanted to know, and left no unanswered questions. When the visit was over, he spent even more time with us showing magic tricks to our son, making sure he’s feeling great and happy. Dr. Goldsmith is the most amazing doctor we have ever met!

I went from my old dentist where the kids were not at all happy to the kids actually looking forward and excited to see Dr. Goldsmith. He knows just how to relate to children; he is patient and listens to them and gives them his undivided attention. He will take time and explain every detail and nuance of the kids' dental concerns to me, and also keep the kids really happy and engaged. It's a rare combination. He will never recommend anything that isn't necessary, and his staff is top notch and really super great as well. The office is very clean and sanitary, and even during the height of COVID, I always felt safe going there. Dr. Goldsmith is really the best! I am so grateful to him for his amazing care!

They are easily accessible by phone, are very flexible with their appointment times (it's easy to change appointments and they often take you earlier than your appointment time if they aren't busy). They are very thorough in explaining what they are doing and their treatment plans. Your kids can watch TV and hold stuffies during treatment. My son is always at ease during his appointments.

The kids got toys after their procedure. The dental assistant was super patient because my daughter was nervous about the dentist visit. Lots of toys that they hand out in the end, and a fun movie to watch on the ceiling for the little one. The people working here love kids, including the hygienist and our dentist (who studied with Dr Jed Best). Their intake person not only spoke Spanish with my daughter (which I loved) but also surprised us by making balloon animals in the end (seriously? That's just delightful!!!!). They also express a really flexible, practical approach to care, and had flexible scheduling Office is small and waiting room could perhaps use some more toys or sprucing up, but we got in so fast / didn't have to wait, so we didn't notice. They also gave us a tour (as we are new patients) and even offered me coffee! Overall a great experience especially considering they are in-network (with Delta Dental).

Dayan also gave us a great tour… love the fact that they give a tour, a first gift and samples .. explaining the importance of fluoride and clearing up rumors about if it’s good or not was extremely helpful! Experiencia fantástica: West Side Kids Dental is always great and extremely child friendly! My daughter is very comfortable during her exam and parents are included in the exam with a explanation of what's being done and what to expect going forward. The kids are kept occupied with games, cartoons, stuffed animals and magic tricks. Would definitely recommend bringing your little one here!
