My daughter and I have Dr. Priya and she is so reassuring and caring and informative. Katie is our hygienist and she is so calming and patient with my daughter answering every question along the way that comes to her head lol. I had my first experience with a deep cleaning and was highly nervous, she kept me calm, was gentle to where there was no pain and had made me feel I was going to be ok because I was nervous. They give you payment options for out of pocket if there is no insurance as well so that you can obtain the care you need. I highly recommend this place for you and your family!

Experiencia negativa: I first visited Abington Family Dental in early April for a routine checkup after not seeing a dentist for several years. This was my first time going there and I chose the office because it was the closest option to me. After the exam, I was scheduled for a filling about a week later for what was described as a small cavity. My concern started with communication — I was never clearly shown which tooth had the cavity or given a thorough explanation before the procedure; the appointment was simply scheduled. During the filling appointment, I experienced significant discomfort while the tooth was being drilled. I tried signaling that I was in pain but felt brushed off with comments that they were “almost done.” When I got home, something immediately felt off, but I was told pain and sensitivity were normal after a filling. About a week later, I returned for a third visit because the pain and sensitivity had not improved. During that appointment, I was told something along the lines of, “Oops, it looks like we cracked an edge, I’ll fix that right up.” The repair was not charged, which I appreciated, but I left feeling like the issue had not been taken very seriously. Unfortunately, after that repair, my pain and discomfort became worse. At that point, after three visits in a short period, I decided not to continue treatment there and instead sought a second opinion from an entirely different dental office. At that separate office, the dentist took time to thoroughly review my X-rays with me, explain everything clearly, and informed me that the tooth had significant damage and that I would now need a root canal. I also learned that a much larger portion of the tooth had needed repair than I had originally understood. I ended up paying additional money out of pocket for further treatment. My biggest disappointment wasn’t needing dental work — it was the lack of communication, feeling dismissed during treatment, and leaving with more problems than I came in with. I would strongly encourage patients to ask questions, request to see their X-rays, and seek a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right. Would give 1 star but 2 stars are harder to get rid of.

Even though it was getting late, they still took the time to do my cleaning instead of making me reschedule, which I truly appreciated. The whole team was attentive and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients and are always trying to provide the best experience possible. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Dentist is simply rude. Scheduled an appointment 4 weeks ago. Confirmed appointment 3 days prior, confirmed again day of appointment. Came on time with my 6 year old daughter. No explanation, we waited for 30 minutes and when complained dentist told us we are being rude. Totally disrespectful. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing and painful experience at Abington Family Dental Care. On 10/16, Dr. Jenna Bablouzian performed a filling on my tooth #19. I had no pain at all before the procedure. Shortly after the filling, I developed severe and persistent pain. I returned for a follow-up on 10/18 and clearly reported significant pain. However, the issue was not properly diagnosed, and I was told to wait. I then suffered weeks of worsening pain, including pain even when breathing, before the real problem was finally identified on 11/8. At that visit, Dr. Jenna Bablouzian acknowledged that there were cracks in the tooth and that drilling had caused them to worsen, now requiring a root canal or extraction. These cracks existed before the filling but were not identified before treatment or at the first follow-up, even though they were later visible through simple intraoral photos. Most concerning was the lack of proper communication and informed consent. The risks were not verbally explained before the filling, and this was later acknowledged by Dr. Jenna. Had I been properly informed of the condition of my tooth and the risks, I would have chosen a different treatment plan and avoided weeks of unnecessary pain. I raised these concerns with the practice manager, Vanessa, but instead of accountability, I received generic explanations that did not address the missed diagnosis, delayed care, lack of informed consent, or the prolonged pain I endured. Additionally, after raising my concerns, I later received a bill for the intraoral photos taken on 11/8. I was never informed that these photos would be charged, no fee was discussed that day, and no charge was collected at checkout. Receiving a bill afterward for undisclosed charges was unexpected and deeply concerning. This experience caused significant physical pain and stress. I would strongly encourage patients to ask very detailed questions, confirm all costs in advance, and consider seeking a second opinion before receiving treatment here. ------------------------- Update: After this, I received a voicemail from Dr. Jenna stating that because I requested a remedy and indicated I would file a complaint, she viewed this as a “threat,” and that this was the reason a dismissal letter was issued. Hearing that a patient’s attempt to seek resolution and exercise the right to file a complaint was interpreted as a threat was extremely concerning, and further reinforced my decision to warn others about this experience.

They’re friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and they do their jobs so well my teeth have never been in better condition. As someone with periodontal disease, that’s quite a feat! They’re not just great at their jobs though, they truly care about you and your wellbeing, and it’s obvious in the way they treat you. This goes for everyone in the office, from the front desk to the exam rooms. At no point are you ever left wondering if you’re in good hands. They’re simply amazing, and I recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with Abington Family Dental. I went for a cleaning, and the doctor told me I had periodontal pockets on the upper left side. I clearly explained that I had already done that treatment four months ago, but I decided to redo it with them after she showed me an X-ray. When I came back for the procedure after a month because they didn’t have days early for appointments, she the doctor started working on the right side instead, where I had no problem. The whole thing lasted less than 10 minutes, and they still charged me $520 plus $99 for an “Essential Plan.” During the appointment, I even mentioned that my upper left gum felt swollen, and she simply said, “Yes, that’s from the periodontal problem.” So why on earth did she work on the right side and not where the actual issue was? I left with the same problem, no treatment on the side that needed it, and the impression that they only care about charging money, not about their patients’ health. They have no professional ethics. Definitely not recommended. ⚠️ Do not trust these people or put your dental health in their hands. They only want your money — your health means nothing to them.

Experiencia negativa: my 1st experinace with this place was great however as of recently the experinace i had was subpar i was scheduled for an appt on the 19th at 5pm after calling on the 12th after having a toothache since the 7th i told the women Angelica who i made the appt with that I would prob be running a few mins late and she said no problem just call us. When I went to call at 445 pm on the day of my appt the office was closed at 4pm I got to the office at 515 after calling the office twice with no answer. The office was closed. Today (5.20) i spoke with someone who rudely insisted they were open and stayed until 510. She offered me an appt today at 1 pm but I work and can not get out of work early on such short notice. No one was there at the office when I got there or answering any phones. The women I spoke to was rude and condescending. She offered me an appt on the 27th and I asked I have to wait another week and she said " we'll I offered you today but u can't come in" after I already explained to her I am working and cannot leave early. I won't be going here again which is a shame bc I really liked the dentist I saw but the receptionists ruined it. To be rude and condecing because you all made a mistake is wild. Do better.

From hygienist to dentist, orthodontist and endodontist, and thw administrative staff, you have to trust in the practice and hope everyone is as great as the next person. For me, Abington Family Dental has been fantastic for going on 13 years. Over 3 cities and 3 moves, I still commute 25 minutes to ensure dental services with the people that I trust and like. They are consistently on time, provide great service, and give extremely honest feedback about my dental needs. (There's no nickel and dining here, they care about your teeth!!) If you're looking for great dental care you will not be disappointed when you come here.

I struggled with horrible dental anxiety, and this was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. To give you an idea of how nervous I was, I didn’t even show up for my first appointment. When I finally came in for the second attempt, my anxiety got the best of me, and I left without letting them do anything. Dr. Jenna was incredibly understanding and suggested I see an oral surgeon but also encouraged me to try again with the support of someone I trust. On my third attempt, I brought my husband with me and decided to give it another shot. From the moment I arrived, the care and reassurance I received from Dr. Jenna and Jandira made all the difference. They offered me laughing gas, which I was too panicked to try last time, and it helped me feel calm and at ease. Dr Jenna was so kind, attentive, and understanding throughout the entire process, making me feel completely supported. The procedure itself went smoothly, and I didn’t feel any pain at all. I’ve had extractions at other clinics before, and they were traumatizing experiences I thought I’d never get over. But this time, thanks to Dr. Jenna and Jandira, it was nothing short of amazing. I never thought I’d say this about a dental visit, but it was the best appointment anyone with severe anxiety could ever hope for. She made the registration process very easy. She was able to answer all my questions and give me an appointment that worked with my schedule. To make things easier, they email you ALL of the documents they need for your records. This would make the actual visit day much easier. Upon arrival I was greeted by the someone at the front desk. The check in was quick and easy and they did not ask me a million questions. I was a little early so I waited a few minutes before being called. The staff was very nice and I would recommend anyone looking for a new office to give this one a try. I was in and out of the office as a new patient within 45 minutes.

Every person there is pleasant , skilled professionals who really seems to care, from the doctors to the front desk, so helpful and accommodating.
