Experiencia negativa: Need wisdom teeth extraction, go get a 2nd opion. This office "recommend" $4k of treatment ans when examined they wouldn't move forward on the extraction without $3k of that work along side my insurance paying for the extraction. I got a 2nd opion, that truly made the work optional rather than mandatory. Also, the same treatment for $3k quoted at $1.2k, at an office not even 10 mins away.
George, we’re sorry to hear this feedback and that we didn’t meet your expectations. Please contact La Mirada Dental Care at [email protected] so we can discuss your concerns privately and work toward a better understanding.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited La Mirada Dental Care with my daughter for an exam and cleaning, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the front office team was welcoming, organized, and genuinely kind. They made us feel comfortable right away. In the back office, the staff continued that same level of care—attentive, friendly, and thorough throughout the entire visit. Most importantly, our doctor was fantastic. They explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and provided care with skill, patience, and professionalism. Overall, the service was truly beyond exceptional. We left feeling confident and cared for, and my daughter felt comfortable the whole time. We’re extremely pleased and will definitely be returning routinely.

I immediately felt at ease. Also, the office is state of the art; taking dental x-rays was quick and easy. To top it all off, Dr. Hur is exceptional. Experiencia negativa: Be careful with this dental office. They have unethical practices and only see MONEY. They refuse to provide a medically necessary, insurance-covered deep cleaning unless you pay out-of-pocket for an optional, uncovered laser treatment. My brothers treatment plan looked off as he was given a 690.00 dollar quote for deep cleaning and added the laser treatment that is AN ADD ON NOT COVERED AND NOT NEEDED! when I called them today to ask why there response was “wells that’s just how we do it”. It’s added in to all deep cleanings. Mmmm no MAM, this is an aggressive up-selling tactic. Because I am on a California HMO plan, I’m sure they are violating their contract with my insurance provider. I will be making calls to report this to my insurance and the board.
Paloma, I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with how things were handled, and I appreciate you letting us know. We take concerns like this seriously and would welcome the chance to discuss them privately, please email [email protected] so we can look into it and work toward a resolution.
