Experiencia negativa: I have been coming to this office for 20 YEARS, and the new doctor is an absolute disgrace. Instead of treating me with the respect I’ve earned as a loyal patient, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like my concerns weren’t worth his time. To make matters worse, he tried to sell me a ROOT CANAL on a perfectly healthy tooth — a tooth that only needed his attention, which he couldn’t even bother to give. That’s not just laziness, that’s pure greed. This doctor is clearly more interested in padding his pockets than helping patients. It is disgusting to see a place I trusted for decades turn into a money-grabbing, unethical mess. I walked out feeling insulted, unheard, and taken advantage of. If you value your health, your money, and your dignity, STAY AWAY from this place. Loyalty means nothing here, honesty means nothing here, and patients clearly mean nothing here. After 20 years, I’m done — and I hope others don’t get scammed the way .

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here since 2018. I’ve had deep cleaning, wisdom teeth removal with Dr. Kang. I’ve also had braces treatment as an adult and I recently got them removed. My husband and daughter have also had work completed with Dr Choi the other dentist and he’s just as great! The hygienists pay attention to detail when doing cleanings. The entire staff is helpful and lovely. I super recommend this dentist for keeping all of our teeth free from cavities and giving us all the dental care over the years.

Experiencia negativa: Convinient location. Josephine is a very good hygienist very gentle and explain the procedure well. Receptionist is accomodating but if there is one thing I can have a feedback for improvement is having patience in explaining the co-pays much better and having the opportunity to answer all my questions. Deserie the one that go over quote should be more patience in explaining things and ensuring that I understood the quotes. She needs to do some customer training, I felt she is irritated and does not want me to ask anymore questions. I can feel the tense and see in her body language. Hopefully the owner would talk to her and give her some advice on how to better communicate to clients. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: I went in a couple months back with my daughter, terrible experience. Insofar as some of the front desk staff were concerned anyway. I was yelled at by the woman in charge of billing for asking a simple question about the procedure my child had done, because I was of course, concerned. It was highly unprofessional not to mention unhinged. I expect to at least be treated with basic courtesy as a customer. Especially one who had just payed them a couple thousand dollars without posing any kind of issue on my part. I will never be returning to this dental clinic again, I will be taking my child elsewhere. I don’t recommend this clinic unless you are just itching to be snapped at by someone for the low, low price of several thousand dollars. I wish I could give this place zero stars, they really need to get themselves together with regards to some of their front office staff.

All the hygienists have been thorough and take the time to answer questions or give explanations about their processes as they do their thing. Always a pleasant experience and positive interactions with the staff. And the dentist will come in and give opinions about processes that are recommended along with what can happen in various scenarios, so he leaves it up to the patient to pursue what they’d like after knowing the stakes. Interior is clean and the place is fairly recently renovated/new.

Experiencia fantástica: I haven't done much at the dentist previously beside get a clean up and a cavity filled. This time I needed much more since my wisdom teeth were causing a severe and painful infection in my mouth. When I first walked in I was greeted by a young lady (sorry forgot her name) and Desiree, who were both very welcoming from the start. They made the process of being signing up, since I was a new patient, very seamless and quick. I was quickly brought to the back to do xrays with a young man who was very gentle when it came to doing my xrays which I appreciate since I was in a lot of pain. Once those were done Dr. Cho came in to explain what was happening. He did a great job of putting me at ease and gave me options of how to take away my pain and the next steps to improve my dental health. Then came the payment options which we all know can be a pain, except the staff at Dental Spa were very accomendating and meeting me where I could be. I want to say a special thank you to Desiree who was very very patient with me and helping me throughout the whole payment process. Once that was done they quickly got to work on me so I would stop being in pain. Dr. Kang worked on me and did a great job. Especially at soothing my nerves, since I was very tense during the start of the procedure. I am so grateful not to have shooting nerve pain going up my face or down my neck anymore. I will be going back to this place and recommend everyone else to do so. I was actually recommended this spot by my coworker who got work done on her teeth here along with her significant other and they love Dr. Kang as well. Thank you again Dental Spa of Artesia!!!

Dr Kang explained everything in detail but also made it easy for me to understand. Desiree helped me get financed and made it possible for this to happen surgery was a few weeks ago and it was very easy they also work with a iv sedation specialist that made it very comforting for me since I had some anxiety. I’m going back for revisions for my new teeth and can’t wait for my final to be delivered

I needed two root canals & crowns and i was able to get both of them done on the same day, each on a different day. The Dr. even showed me how the crowns are made and I walked out with nice-looking teeth. Overall a good experience!

It’s not a spa, as the name might suggest, but the friendly staff did relieve my anxiety and stress about my operation! I used to cover my mouth with my hand, but now I smile confidently and believe it or not I actually have gotten compliments from complete strangers about my smile.
