He recently did two crowns for me, and I’m genuinely so happy with how everything turned out. I was a little nervous going into the process, but he took the time to explain everything to me, made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment, and never made me feel rushed. He was extremely gentle, patient, and detail-oriented, and you can tell he truly cares about making sure his patients are happy with the final result. Both of my crowns look so natural and feel great, and the whole process went very smoothly. I really appreciated how attentive he was and how often he checked in to make sure I was doing okay. I’m so happy with the work he did and would absolutely recommend Dr. Patel to anyone looking for a dentist who is skilled, caring, and truly takes pride in his work!

Experiencia fantástica: I honestly can’t recommend this place enough! After bouncing around other dental offices in the area. Notably the VA and Community Care provider. No one has treated me with the kind of real respect, dignity, and personal attention that this crew does. First off, huge shoutout to Rachel at the front desk. She is awesome to work with and made scheduling completely painless, helping me knock out multiple appointments all in one shot instead of stretching things out over weeks or months. The clinical side blew me away, too. Britini took care of a full top-to-bottom, left-to-right piezoscaling all in a single visit, and Dr. Tekreeti and Brenda were incredible getting my crown made in-house and fitted just two days later. Anywhere else, that easily would have taken weeks. The entire team just gets it. They respect your time, do fantastic work, and make you feel comfortable from the second you walk in. My spouse and son come here now too!!

Experiencia fantástica: The dentist, Junseok Kim, removed broken parts of an implant crown and put a cap on the implant base to protect it until an oral surgeon could mount a new crown. The dentist took care of this dental emergency quickly and efficiently.

Experiencia negativa: This place was horrible!!! Stay FAR away Multiple issues with this place: 1. Went in and the dentist stated I needed a few fillings so I scheduled those to be done on a second visit, however they scheduled me for a time/day where the dentist was leaving early and did not provide enough time for my treatment so I spent 30min in traffic to get there just to be told I’d need to reschedule 2. When I came in for the fillings before starting the dentist said I would most likely need a root canal but he could try to do a filling (it was an old filling that had been cracked and bacteria got into it). I had scheduled to have everything done at once because I do not like dental procedures, especially being numbed so I then asked why he didn’t just tell me that upfront because if he thought I’d end up needing a root canal anyways why first do a filling (I think they wanted to get more money by doing both). So I rescheduled yet again for a day the endodontist was there to have everything done at once -day of my root canal, because it wasn’t in an endodontist office they missed a root which ended up getting infected less than 6 months later. Thankfully I went to a different dentist but everything had to be redone and I almost needed surgery (yet redoing the root canal at a new endodontist with a new crown and placing antibiotics into my root and having laughing gas somehow cost less than the original root canal with the same dental insurance) -when they did my root canal the machine sculpting the crown broke and the dentist couldn’t figure out how to create or cement on a temporary crown so I had nothing to cover the root canal for 2 weeks (also may have contributed to the infection) -I had mentioned multiple times during the process that I was concerned my mouth guard would no longer fit. The dentist kept forgetting, so I brought it up when my crown was finally placed and he said I’d need a new mouth guard but they wouldn’t have time to do a scan that day so yet again I had to go back (I also told him it was a top mouth guard because I have a retainer I wear on the bottom and the mouth guard is for clenching/grinding) -when I went back to get a new mouth guard none of the staff could seem to figure out how to scan my mouth or use the old fashion pink goo to take a mold of the mouth. The machine had no memory or kept fogging up etc. then it took them 2 tries to get an old fashion mold, come to find out the mold for my top wasn’t good enough so the dentist called and said that it was fine and he would make a mouth guard for the bottom. I reminded him I needed a top one because I wore a retainer on the bottom and the mouth guard on top had replaced my previous retainer (post braces I want to ensure my teeth remain aligned). He said he would try to do a partial top mouth guard and just leave off the back teeth so they wouldn’t touch/grind ensuring that it wouldn’t cause realignment of my teeth either -less than 6 months later and this mouth guard is cracked. Thank god I found a new dentist, my new crown actually feels normal and not bulky as hell, the dentist remembers what I tell her, they are efficient, and scheduling is great. My new endodontist is also wonderful too and scheduled a follow up in one year to ensure no infection comes back (after placing antibiotics into the root, and taking them orally prior to redoing the root canal and using proper CT imaging to ensure things looked good. You couldn’t pay me to go back to Springfield dental group!

Experiencia negativa: This dentist office has lost my trust and I will not be going back. They have left me feeling like they are just out for my money rather than a patient that’s seeking their care. I went in for a cleaning. The first dentist I saw, who is no longer there, said I needed to get my filling repaired, which would cost $575. After speaking with the manager, they negotiated the price and got it down to around a little more than $200. I found the whole process of negotiating the price of a dental procedure to be unusual, and honestly, it made me feel like I was being overcharged from the beginning. I also didn’t ask them to lower the price. I simply said I would need to call back and reschedule. The manager asked me if it was because of the price, and I honestly said yes. The manager then told me they could “meet me” at around a little more than $200, but “that’s the lowest they could go.” I agreed and rescheduled my appointment to get it done in June. The first dentist I saw was no longer there, so of course a new dentist would be doing the repair. The second dentist I saw, I actually liked. They shared in their professional opinion that I did not need to get it done because “I would lose more of the tooth.” Dentist #2 was very professional and did not say anything negative about their fellow colleague. Fast forward to August, and it's time for my next cleaning! The 3rd dentist comes in because, you guessed it, Dentist #2 is no longer there. Another red flag. Dentist #3 wants to discuss the same tooth I was there two months ago to get fixed. I let them know that I was just there to get it fixed and their colleague said I didn’t need to. “Oh, they are no longer here. Was it possible they were talking about this tooth?” No. Because that tooth doesn’t have a filling and doesn’t need one. Dentist #3 then goes back to explaining why the original tooth needs to be fixed because it’s this, that, and the third. While it may be true that the tooth needs to be fixed at this point, Springfield Dental Group will not be the office to fix it, nor will they get another dime out of me. I will be getting a 4th opinion from a dentist office I feel I can actually trust. I don’t feel taken care of as a patient, and the consistency is just not there. Three different dentists, two completely different opinions, and two dentists who are no longer with the practice in a matter of months. At this point, I’m done.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a routine cleaning, but it felt like the treatment plan was padded with unnecessary items just to make me pay more. I’m aware of my dental health, so I did not feel the additional recommendations were justified or transparent. I was very disappointed with the experience and will not be returning.

Experiencia fantástica: On July 23, 2024 I visited Springfield Dental Group for a simple cleaning, and advised Dr. Mojarrad and his Dental Assistant Asia that I chipped a tooth. Due to the chip placement and depth I was advised that a crown would be needed. They were able to immediately schedule my appointment as soon as the cleaning was completed, and completed my crown in the same day!! I was also offered wonderful interest free payment options making my decision much easier. Thank you Dr. Mojarrad and Asia. UPDATE: On 1/28 I came in the office for my bi-annual teeth cleaning and I had the pleasure of being worked on by Afraa and meeting Alfredo the Office Manager. Afraa was very knowledgeable, patient, and took her time to explain issues that I was experiencing. It was discovered that additional work needed to be completed, and they made time during my appointment to complete a small procedure. Afraa and Alfredo made it all a pleasureable experience. On August 18 I came into the office for a simple cleaning and Dr. Kunwar me of additional concerns that she saw. My Dental appt lasted several hours but it was pleasant due to her patience and answering questions, allowing frequent tones. Dr. Kunwar was very kind and patient during my procedure. This Dental office comes highly recommended by me.

Experiencia positiva: Every time I visit, I get hit with 200-500 dollar expense. Last visit, I got billed 350+ because the hygienist added laser as part of the treatment plan. I got a 50% discount after complaining. And there’s more - I got hit with additional ~600 dollars to treat a newly discovered cavity with ceramic filling. All of these with Dental Insurance, so the actual cost is definitely way higher. Two visits ago, I got slapped with around 230 dollars. If I had not reviewed the insurance claim and contested the charge, I would’ve not received a reimbursement for wrongfully charging me for treatment that’s already covered by my insurance I feel I don’t have any choice each time I visit - that I get charged with the highest possible care every time.

Experiencia negativa: I went in for a routine teeth cleaning last month and ended up seeing a new dentist at the office, Dr. Fatima. During the appointment, she told me I had a cavity and recommended an inlay/onlay procedure. What confused me from the beginning was that I was having absolutely no pain or issues beforehand, I routinely get my teeth cleaned, and I had been at the same office less than six months earlier without any mention of a cavity. In fact, I had actually been there only three months earlier for an emergency root canal and had full x-rays done at that time. The cavity she later claimed to find was in the exact same area, so I genuinely do not understand how this was supposedly missed during my prior visit and imaging. The entire inlay/onlay procedure ended up taking around four hours. After the procedure, Dr. Fatima actually texted me afterward and continued following up with me over the next several days because she herself did not seem confident that the procedure had been completed correctly. My tooth continued hurting for weeks after the appointment. Every time I bit down, it felt like there was a gap or something wasn’t sitting correctly. I went back last week, and they told me the inlay needed to be redone. Dr. Fatima spent another two hours trying to fix it but ultimately couldn’t, so she decided to just fill the tooth instead. During the filling, she repeatedly yelled “oh shit” multiple times, which honestly made the whole experience even more stressful and concerning. A week later, I decided to see a different dentist at another office because I was frustrated, exhausted, and honestly pretty traumatized by the experience at that point. The new dentist reviewed everything, including the x-rays from the previous office, and told me the filling definitely needs to be redone. She also said the previous dentist essentially handled the procedure improperly. At this point, I am now having to go back and get the filling redone yet again, and I may also need to see an endodontist for a possible root canal because there are concerns that the multiple procedures and repeated work on the tooth may have caused nerve damage. Honestly, at this point I feel like they were just trying to repeatedly bill my insurance because it is absolutely ridiculous that after two separate sessions, nearly six hours in this dentist office, and multiple procedures on the same tooth, I now have to go to an entirely different dentist office just to get one tooth properly taken care of. This entire experience has been absolutely atrocious and horrible, and I am extremely upset over what this dentist office has put me through physically, emotionally, and financially.

About two months ago, I returned due to a dental emergency after noticing the office was under new ownership. I will say the front desk staff and assistant/hygienist were very welcoming, professional, and kind throughout my visit. They made the check-in process much more pleasant and explained things clearly. My experience with Dr. Shehzana Fatima, however, was less comfortable. While I understand emergency appointments can be fast-paced, I felt the communication style was very brief and somewhat dismissive at times. I was presented with several treatment recommendations and tried to ask questions to better understand the procedures, timeline, and options, but I didn’t feel like much detail or reassurance was provided unless I specifically continued asking. Because this was a significant treatment decision, I wanted time to consider everything and seek a second opinion before moving forward. What ultimately stood out to me most was that I didn’t feel fully comfortable or at ease during the interaction, especially when asking follow-up questions before leaving. Bedside manner and communication are very important to me during stressful situations, and unfortunately I left feeling more uneasy than reassured.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to be a new patient. I called during business hours, but nobody picked up. I sent an email asking to set up an appointment, also providing my contact information. It's been almost a week, and nobody has called me or replied. I guess they don't need business.

Experiencia negativa: My mom, my brother, and I have all been patients here, and we’ve all had the same experience: aggressive upselling, unnecessary procedures, and a heavy focus on getting as much money out of you as possible. All three of us (at completely different times) were told we “urgently” needed crowns done ASAP. The language they use is fear-based, making it seem like something terrible will happen if you don’t move forward immediately. Then they hit you with a huge price. My mom went in because she had pain in a specific tooth. They pushed a crown and quoted her around $1.7k. She was shocked because she’s had multiple crowns before and never paid anywhere near that (closer to $600). After she pushed back and said she couldn’t afford it, the price dropped to $1,200…and then somehow all the way down to $600. How is a dental procedure negotiable by over 50%? Why present the most expensive option as the *only* option until the patient threatens to leave? They insisted the pain wasn’t coming from the tooth she felt it in and did the crown on a different tooth. But the pain never went away. So now she’s out $600 and still dealing with the original issue. On my end, I got a second opinion from another dentist about a tooth they said urgently needed a crown and was told it was not urgent at all and didn’t need a crown anytime soon. This office relies on pressure, urgency, and inflated pricing to get patients to agree to expensive procedures they may not even need. It feels incredibly unethical. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to anything here or better yet, just go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Service has gone down in quality and manner drastically; I had been going to this office for about a year now. The manager Porscha, whom I had not interacted with previously, will lie about your interactions with her in the office and threaten to send bills to collections after informing you of the bill in the last ten minutes, without even letting you see the bill printed or on mychart. After receiving a service to replace a crown that Dr. Moon (who seems to no longer work there) gave me 6 months ago that came off, I spoke with the manager and in the discussion she mentioned how their new policy was to pay for services in full before any appointment could be made, even though the follow up would be 3 months in the future. Not expecting this, I told her that I would pass by another day to schedule a follow up and pay it in full. She mentioned how if I donated $60 to their charity, I would receive $200 in credit. I made the donation and then we said goodbye to each other. The next day, 15 minutes before close of business, I received a call from the office stating I owed a bill for services rendered. I explained how I was not informed of this previously and would like to see the invoice for this. The employee placed me on a brief hold and then told me that it was fine, that I would receive the invoice for this. Five minutes later the manager, Porscha, called me demanding I pay for the bill immediately with her on the phone without being able to see the actual bill. I explained how I was not informed of this at the time of service by either the Doctor or assistant and that when I spoke with her at the deak before leaving, she did not mention this bill either. She accused me of lying; that the doctor, staff, and she herself told me about this on the same day. I told her that no one, not even she told me of this and then I recounted the interaction we had, and how she wished me a good day after our conversation ended and I made the donation without her mentioning anything of a bill owed. I mentioned how I even took out my phone, walked from in front of the desk to stand next to her to scan the QR code for the charity, took out my card and made the donation in front of her without her mentioning anything of the bill owed and how she wished me a good day after we finished our conversation. After she accused me of lying, she threatened to send the bill to collections even though I was informed of this bill 5 minutes ago and that I didn't even have the chance to even look at the bill on mychart or printed. She then mentioned how she would call me daily until the bill was paid. I told her that I doubted anyone would send a bill to collections for a service that wasn't 48 hours old and for one which the client was informed of 10 minutes previously. Lastly, I told her I would take a look at mychart when I was home since I was at work at the time, the manager reiterated that she would call me daily and that it would be a shame to send the bill to collections. Her demeanor and customer service can only be described as extortion, as I was coerced and threatened in the call before I could even log into mychart and any attempt to ask for a printed letter with the bill was denied repeatedly. It's bad enough to have a crown come off in less than 6 months, it was worse to have that hostile interaction from the manager all because I asked to see the printed bill, to be able to get out of work to see it on mychart, and to explain how the bill wasn't mentioned or discussed the day before. Find another dentist office, unless you want to be shaken down by Porscha, the manager. The dental assitants/ hygienist are very kind and understanding; my interaction with Dr. Fatima was pleasant; but it's regrettable that the billing/ manager was so extortionary that I encourage everyone to avoid this office until things change.

Experiencia positiva: I have been coming to this practice for years and have had nothing but positive, helpful experiences — until meeting Porscha. If Sarah and Brittany had not stepped in, this would be a one-star review. Those two deserve ten stars for their dedication, effort, and genuine kindness. I arrived at my confirmed 4:00 p.m. appointment, clearly stated my name and appointment time, and before anyone even checked me in, Porscha — who wasn’t assisting me — was towering over the front desk staff and said in a curt tone, “She never confirmed, I cancelled that,” and walked away. She did not address me directly, did not verify information, and did not greet me. She simply canceled my appointment and dismissed me publicly. My appointment was canceled with zero notification. I had confirmation and a screenshot to prove it. The only contact I received was two phone calls the DAY OF my appointment at 11:00 a.m. and 11:01 a.m. The second was a 13-second voicemail that said, “Hi, good morning is this Miss Angelique? Hello…” and nothing else. This is a copy and paste of the transcript from my phone. No information. No explanation. No statement that my appointment would be canceled. I played the voicemail back on my phone in person. It was clearly her voice. There was no acknowledgment and no accountability. I am more than happy to come in and play the voicemail back and show my phone log to show when and how many times communication was attempted. Instead of speaking to me, she again spoke about me to the front desk staff and snapped, “What’s wrong with her number?” as if I were the issue — despite the fact that she had barely attempted to communicate with me. People work. People are not sitting behind a front desk waiting for incomplete phone calls. If you cancel someone’s medical appointment, you leave a complete message. That is basic professionalism. When I directly addressed how inappropriate and unprofessional the interaction was, her response was, “I’m sorry if I made you feel that way.” That is not accountability. That is a scripted deflection. I stated multiple times that I did not want to continue speaking with her and that we were not going to have a productive conversation. I made direct eye contact and clearly said I did not wish to engage further. Despite that, she continued speaking to me. It was one of the most bizarre interactions I’ve had in a long time — like repeatedly telling someone to stop and not being heard, like a child that doesn’t understand that no means no. That is especially concerning in a healthcare setting where communication and boundaries matter. It also felt very performative once it was clear a manager or supervisor was present behind the partition, per what Porscha explained. The tone shifted, but the accountability never came. Now, the reason this is not a one-star review: Sarah and Brittany completely salvaged this experience. Sarah was kind, calm, and solution-oriented. Brittany was knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly calming. They ensured my information was correct and worked to fix a mistake they did not make. After that interaction, I felt lucky they were the ones involved in my care. I have seen many wonderful staff members come and go at this practice. It may be worth highlighting and rewarding employees like Sarah and Brittany who represent the professionalism and compassion patients expect. It may also be worth addressing how front desk communication is handled directly, because that role is the face of the practice. Stay on your side of the partition maybe if you aren’t going to be pleasant or helpful. Summary: Sarah and Brittany — a million stars. Porscha Jenifer the operations manager — a deeply unprofessional and concerning experience. -50 stars if possible. I am sorry if I spelled any names incorrectly.If this is taken down, I will be escalating.

Experiencia negativa: I am going for my regular cleaning, then they x-ray me, doctor start recommending deep cleaning. I said ok, I can schedule that but today let me get the regular cleaning that my insurance pays twice a year. They refuse to give it and insist on deep cleaning. Then every time si come there, they would sell other things to me like crown, teeth guard. This place in my opinion cares only about making money. Not recommending this place.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent visit with Dr. Shehzana Fatima was extremely disappointing. My husband and I went in for our regular cleaning and ended up wasting our time. Dr. Fatima told us we needed a deep cleaning and said she could not perform a regular cleaning unless we agreed to the more expensive service. I recently lost a family member and could not afford the additional cost due to funeral expenses, but she showed no empathy and simply repeated that it was “office policy.” What was especially frustrating is that she said I didn’t need a regular cleaning anyway—despite routine cleanings being recommended every six months. I felt pressured into costly services that I’ve tried before without success. In the end, neither my husband nor I received any cleaning at all. Nothing was done for our dental health. While we’ve had good experiences with other doctors at this office, this visit left us very disappointed and hesitant to return.

Experiencia fantástica: After learning I needed a root canal retreatment, I was referred to Springfield Dental Group for evaluation. I have visited many dentist offices over my lifetime and have to say; this was one of my best experiences. What made it the best was everyone (Porscha, Sarah, Lakita, Kyle) and especially Dr. Coston were exceptionally professional, engaging, and made me feel very comfortable from the start. Dr. Coston explained the evaluation and retreatment process, answered all my questions, and conducted a thorough examination before starting. I felt very confident in his assessment and appreciated his candidness about the potential of discovering a tooth fracture that the x-ray images did not show. The procedure was painless and Dr. Coston updated me of his progress as we went along. Beyond the excellent dental care I received, was my observation of how well everyone in the office communicated and helped each other. The office was very clean and had an atmosphere of professional pride. This is truly a five-star service with a cohesive team that cares about their patients and takes time to make you feel at home.

I called them and explain I was in the worse pain in my life and the dentist was so kind and let me come in even though they were about to closed and did a great job and explain everything thoroughly! Highly recommend

Sucks that I have to leave work early to be on time just to sit an extra 40 minutes in the waiting room and another 20 in the dental room laying down.

First, upon entry I was greeted by Alfredo and Anna who were incredibly friendly and very supportive with my appointment today. I had my oral hygiene appointment with Aaron and as always he is very through and helped me with education about my home care routine and provided me some tips to improve my dental health. And finally working with Dr. Mojarrad who has always been wonderful, reassuring, supportive and caring. His entire team is exemplary and I am so grateful for all of their services and care that I have received today, to include being checked out with kindness and compassionate care. Distraught, I called Springfield Dental Group minutes before they closed, as I had my six month cleaning scheduled for the following week. I explained the situation to Alfredo, who very compassionately put me on a hold to figure out what they could do for me. He got back on and told me they were able to squeeze me in during a fully booked day. I just wanted to give my gratitude especially to Alfredo, as he stayed late to work with me and made a horrible day just a little bit brighter. I was able to get my cleaning that Friday, which was great, (the hygienist was such a pleasure to work with) and I’m happy to say my furlough has miraculously ended. Thank you to Springfield Dental Group and especially Alfredo! I’ll see you all in six months. :)

This place is just plain bad. to this day im still going back and forth between my insurance because they are charging for services they didnt provide. the front desk admins are horrible at their job, never send any information to the next dentist, call back or anything.

I visited once for mainly xrays and now I have to to go back and forth between insurance and the slow communications of this office to avoid paying thousands in nonsense. A scam artist would be proud of the way this place operates.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Coston performed Endodontics procedure on me. He explained the entire process from the beginning and during the procedure. He considered my opinion. He worked very fast and he was efficient with his work. Recovery took 2 to 3 days. Springfield facility is very clean and spacious. I was able to obtain and sooner appointment than originally scheduled. The staff is friendly and assisted me in all of my needs. I have even considered seeking further treatment at this facility and switching over my General dentistry to here.

Experiencia fantástica: I dont think anyone likes going to the dentist but for sure, I have had the best dental experience yet with Dr. Sufadi and Professional Assistant Asia. My procedure took several visits over several months. Each time they greeted me like family, and explained everything. Also they ensured I felt the minimal amount of discomfort. Even to the point of letting me rest a little between difficult sub-procedures (sometimes a little break helps me not stress out so much). Additionally while they worked they talked and their tone with each other was professional and focused, and calming. They are a great team and that makes me very happy to have them as my dental professionals. The front staff are wonderful as are the other personnel who have helped me. Very friendly and always with a smile. I am happy I found them.

While I waited I needed to use the restroom so I asked someone else named Hanaa where it was and she stopped to guide me in the right direction. Everyone that works here seems super nice.

Experiencia negativa: They are not loyal at work, especially when you move to another clinic. They will not send any information to the clinic you moved to, and this is not good. I am lucky because I moved to another place. And plus when you book an appointment they give it to you after 2 months I asked for an appointment last month and they gave it to me in October.

Experiencia negativa: Big miss at Springfield Dental! The staff acted unprofessional, and the procedure chair was broken or lose screws and not cleaned and not hygienic. The dress code of some staff members seemed inappropriate for the workplace. The nurses dint know there job either ,Numbing one of my tooth turned into a messy cream application on half of my gum, numbing of the unnecessary areas. While Dr. Hazem Saqqal work was ok, the rest was a disaster. please Find another Clinic.
