Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Fernando and his staff are professional, and also friendly, caring and demonstrate that care by remembering extra details to accommodate for any special needs I might have, in the form of offering an extra cushion for the dental chair or a blanket or pillow to assure I am comfortable during every procedure. The front desk staff are also friendly and excellent at printing out our specific treatment plans, which show us how much insurance will cover and the amount I can expect to pay out of pocket for each service. Their office is conveniently located on Olympic Blvd, right off of the Olympic Blvd. exits on 680 NORTH and SOUTH. There is always ample free parking, with several handicapped spaces.

During the appointment I could tell he was rushing and didn’t want to complete the services that I came in for. Horrible professionalism and work causing more issues!

There is older carpet that has clearly been there for a long time, classic directory plaques that list businesses by floor, and an elevator that feels like it carries stories from the Reagan era. Yet the moment you step into the office, there is a striking contrast. The interior feels modern, intentional, and clinically clean without being cold, sterile, or stripped of personality. It maintains character while still providing the calm professionalism you hope for in a medical space. From the instant I walked in, the front desk experience immediately set the tone. Alma greeted me with warmth and confidence, already knew my name before I said a single word, and shook my hand with genuine presence. That moment mattered more than it might seem. For someone entering with fear and vulnerability, it laid the foundation for an environment rooted in respect, dignity, and human connection. The hygienist, I think Aida was her name, continued that tone seamlessly. She listened attentively, explained each step clearly, and moved with patience and care. She made sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire process, checking in consistently rather than assuming compliance. Her friendliness and ease made the experience feel less clinical and more relational, even while taking X-rays. And the X-ray technology deserves specific recognition. This is the most advanced imaging system I have ever encountered in a dental office. The mouthpieces were thoughtfully designed and genuinely comfortable, and they used a handheld X-ray device that produces less radiation than you would receive on an airplane flight. I was genuinely shocked and impressed by both the technology itself and the way it was used with care and intention. When I met Dr. Fernando, the experience deepened further. He was empathetic, patient, strategic, respectful, and highly educational. He took the time to walk me through my dental health in a way that felt informative rather than overwhelming. He invited collaboration, helping me understand the concerns, the options, and the reasoning behind each recommendation. Our conversation extended beyond physical treatment. We talked about the mental, emotional, and social changes that would best support improved care at home, which made the plan feel realistic, supportive, and sustainable. I would absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend Olympic Dental, especially for anyone who has experienced dental trauma in the past. Office was on time for my appointment, I had hygienist Yuka and she was fantastic, I can't say enough good things about her as well as Dr. Roemer. I love how the office has portable x rays so you're not sitting there uncomfortable for any longer than you have to. She also made sure that my thyroid was covered during x rays (extra appreciative of that as a women), and was very thorough, gentle, and knowledgeable. Dr sat with me for 15-20 mins and went through my health history and any concerns and thorough examination. Didn't stop by for 2 mins like most dentists. Overall I'm so happy and impressed, I am having the rest of my family (family of 6) come here now too! Thank you so much to the whole staff!

I was sold services that I later realized I didn’t actually need, which left me feeling taken advantage of rather than cared for. They also failed to disclose the challenges and difficulties the treatment would involve. Because of this lack of transparency, I went in unprepared for what turned out to be a stressful and uncomfortable process. During one of the visits that was crucial to my treatment, the dentist and assistant were engaged in chatting about their personal matters instead of focusing on the procedure or making me feel comfortable. This made the experience even more unsettling and unprofessional. On top of that, they made a mistake scheduling my next appointment, and instead of owning up to it or offering an apology, they brushed it off as if it didn’t matter. I was also not provided with the proper tools or guidance to manage the issue I came in with, leaving me completely unprepared to deal with the situation afterward. This whole experience caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and left me feeling that my well-being was not their priority. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for professional, ethical, and compassionate dental care.

Experiencia positiva: I have made appointment at 10 o'clock on a Tuesday morning for a teeth hygiene service Which is basically a standard teeth cleaning. I was not expecting anything fancy or extra, but I was still told that the whole service would last 90 minutes. Upon my arrival, the reception give me a very warm welcome and asked me to fill the new patient form. I was greeted by a very friendly, smiling assistant called Stephanie and she was there to help me to go through a series of x-ray pictures, which took about 20 minutes long. Although I was a little bit puzzled, why there was such time-consuming process before I actually started my teeth cleaning, but she was explaining to me that for all new patient this is a standard procedure until she pulled out two metal rack asked me to show off ALL my teeth then I made it very clear--- I was not interested in any teeth Cosmetic procedure. The clock was already ticking to 1030am; then I was introduced to a dentist which gave me another round of x-ray and specific pictures to demonstrate that I have a few cavities And somewhere worn out fillings. Sincerely speaking I appreciate their efforts to provide all the solutions however, I was only asking for a standard hygiene service , how difficult is that ? By the time the doctor finish explaining to me all the recommended treatment I might be needing in the future, the clock was already ticking through 11 AM then I was finally introduced to the hygienist, which gave me ANOTHER round of " new patient check " tooth by tooth and she told me my gum is somewhat going through infection and I need special treatment card deep cleaning. I told her that I am not interested in that kind of procedure. I came in just with SIMPLE GOAL to ask for a standard hygiene service then she told me OK now I only have 15 minutes to do that because your appointment was scheduled for 90 minutes. What is going on ? I felt trapped In a rush she cleaned up my central /front teeth and give me a quick flossing, which took about 20 minutes or so. I could finally leave, oh no, she again reminded me that I must come back for another two appointment at least for a deep cleaning otherwise, the consequences would be overwhelming. I walked out with a head full of question marks . what actually happened back there? I was caught by the office manager that she would print out a series of treatment that the doctor recommended. By then I was already at the clinic for two hours. By sharing my personal experience, I would like to shed some light to someone who would consider coming over, This is by all means a very professional dental clinic, but I deeply feel that their focus is to provide cosmetic teeth care or big-ticket services. If you are only asked for a standard hygiene service, this might not be your best choice.

After a string of traumatic experiences at different dentists, my husband decided based on the reviews to give Olympic a try. It was a great choice- the whole staff is outstandingly friendly and competent, the office atmosphere is very pleasant, and pricing is transparent and convenient. In-house dental insurance is a huge plus! We are both now loyal patients of Olympic and are so happy that we found them. I would give 6 stars if I could!

I went in for a filling, and unfortunately the dentist did not do it properly, and I had to have it corrected at another dental office shortly after. On top of that, I was quoted multiple different prices for the filling, which made is difficult to trust what I was being told. To make matters worse, nearly two years later, I received a surprise bill that asked for immediate payment - with no explanation of what the charge was for or why it took so long to send (since speaking to the manager, the bill came so late because they're "cleaning up" old bills they hadn't sent out). The lack of communication and professionalism has been pretty frustrating. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I used to be scared to go to the dentist but Dr. Paula Roemer is so soothing, gentle, kind, skilled, and informative that I now feel ease & trust going to my appointments. She also won’t send you to other places for surgery, ortho, or root canals where you pay large fees just for a consultation. Her surgeons/etc come to her office! Her staff is awesome too. Afterwards I was expected to pay $500 when I never agreed to this, never was shown any paper work and never signed anything agreeing to this. Be careful, they may try to decieve you into appointments that cost you cash without getting your written consent first. 2 stars because the staff is extraordinary and very professional.

I was welcomed from day 1 and every time I come in for an appointment I am always greeted by my first name. While my dental needs have been historically pretty simple, the team at WCOD will go through recommendations for my long term benefits but always respect my wishes as to my ultimate.
