Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Bautista and his entire team are kind, gentle, and caring- over the phone and in person. They happily assist with your dental care plan to make the best use of insurance providers. They gladly explain all processes & procedures to make you feel very at ease. I have extreme dental anxiety from early childhood & beyond and Dr. Bautista and his associates treat me with the utmost dignity & respect. Cool fact- the office uses digital scanning to make replacement crowns and prints them in porcelain on-site. No temporary crowns. One single office visit! My entire family are patients with them. Very Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: I’m in my early seventies. My health is good. 8 months ago I had to find a new dentist because my work changed the Dental coverage. I’m glad I found Dr Bautista and still continuing his services. The office staff are knowledgeable and supportive to my dental needs. Apparently a two hour appointment crown replacement took 1 visit. The equipment he has constructed the crown on site. Dr. Bautista hasupdated dental technology. In essences. No old school dentistry, clean establishment. I felt very comfortable and no more anxious moments going to the dentist. Crown replacement, tooth removal, cavities filled and even dental particles added. Amazing work.

Had bad experiences with them doing the cleanings and hitting me up for a lot of money months later telling me the insurance didn't cover. The worst is I had to take my business elsewhere and when the new office called for information on my records, they were told they no longer have them. What kind of dental office throws away patients records which are vital for completing oral implants. So unprofessional. Would never recommend this dental office. Bad practices!

Experiencia negativa: You discuss one thing with the dentist then they go draft up A treatment plan for something else. Front office is money giddy. Discussed doing crowns on specific set of teeth, front office drafted treatment plans for multiple other tooth I discussed with the dentist not wanting to go with a crown for. They must’ve thought I was stupid and wouldn’t notice. Read your treatment plans carefully they slide things in there.

Experiencia positiva: All was fine, hygienist (all I've experienced) are fantastic. When checking out things got weird. The front desk was going over insurance purchase and it was very pushy. A real turn off, the April was relentless. I said, you are giving me a headache, three times and the hard sell continued. Does the front desk get commissions? I'm not sure if I want to come back.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my first visit to Pleasant Hill Dentistry (Gregory Lane). Dr. Bautista was out sick but his assistant Dr. Diep was quite proficient. I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the clinic with no physical files in sight (everything electronic), offices decorated relevant to Valentine's day, newer equipment, the cleaning of my teeth didn't feel like the plaque was being removed by a pick and axe. I left with a smile on my face not only because of the free stuff I got but because of the care I was given. The interaction was very chill. It felt like I was with people I've known for a while. Experiencia fantástica: I just moved to the area and my old Dentist is over 200 miles away. I called around for a few hours to find somebody that does root canals. I showed up at this dentist office and it turns out he does do root canals, but not the kind that I needed he referred me to A father and daughter team of Endodontist that was right up the street. Instead of calling, I just drove up there. I got seen the same day! Super nice dentist we talked for quite a while. His staff was welcoming clean. I think I found my new general dentist.! I came in for routine cleaning, and from the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm welcome, especially with my 16 month old. And they entertained him while I was getting my cleaning done. Really appreciate that. The front desk staff is always welcoming and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long for my appointment. Staff is always thorough, gentle, and explain clearly. The office is spotless and equipped with tools and especially appreciated how attentive and kind the dental assistant was during my cleaning. Thank you, for the excellent care. Experiencia negativa: Dr Bautista himself was fantastic. Personable, informative, friendly & professional. However, I was beyond upset when when I got in my car only to realize I had a flat tire from chunks of glass embedded in one of my tires (i found out later that day, 3 of my neighbors also had the same thing happen with their cars too) When I told the office staff I couldn't get to.my appt now as I had to wait for the tow truck, they told me they'd send me an Uber ( which I can get my own thank you) so I could get there still, completely missing the point that a TOW TRUCK WAS ALREADY DISPATCHED with up to a 3 hour wait (or longer) to come tow my car. At first the front office lady wanted to charge me $500, then settled on "only" $250, which I paid immediately. ZERO CONCERN for my safety & well being l, and was never asked at any point if I personally am ok was ever expressed, Only that I pay an exorbitant fee if I dare miss this appt! I wasn't going to post anything about my upsetting snd very disappointing experience withtbe front offuce person at PLEASANTHILL DENTISTRY,, but after talking to my new dentist's front office staff, they highly encouìaged me to talk about it!!

Experiencia negativa: Lost 2 teeth because of Randy bautista’s greedy unnecessary dental procedure. Also had infection & round of antibiotic with him. Saw his advertisement in the church & as a Catholic should warn the public of his practice to avoid pain, infection & lost of tooth. He didn’t refund my insurance. He will milk your insurance with unnecessary dental work. You only have one set of teeth, I would not recommend him to even examine my teeth. Not sure how people like him can sleep in peace at night knowing you messed up someone’s dental health.

Experiencia negativa: Came here once for a cleaning. They wanted to book me for an appointment 6 months later. I declined, but they booked me anyway, and then sent me a bill for $75 when I “didn’t show.” That was my first experience with this office and I have to say that’s a great way to make sure you never have repeat clients. Plenty of dental practices in the area who don’t try and scam customers w late fees as a revenue stream.

Today I visited to recement an emergency front tooth crown that became loose Wednesday and Elaine was great in responding after hours & scheduled me a quick appointment for today! All went great! Experiencia negativa: I moved to the area a few months ago and had to find a new dentist in-network with Guardian insurance. Someone on the Nextdoor app recommended Pleasant Hill Family Dentistry so I thought I’d give them a try. It was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. During the first 5 minutes of my exam by the assistant she said my front tooth was going to fall out if I didn’t get braces. I said braces are not a priority for me and she went on to tell me that her friend’s tooth fell out because she didn’t get braces until her 50s. Dr Bautista then came over to start the exam and went on to say that if I don’t get braces I won’t be able to chew my food. He literally pointed out every single “flaw” on my teeth after I told him I’m not interested in braces and they are not a priority for me. At this point I felt so uncomfortable, I said I don’t want to continue my appointment, got up and left. These people use bullying tactics as a way to sell their products. I’m adamant about getting regular check ups and cleanings every 6 months and have never been told by any other dental professional in my entire life that my teeth are going to fall out or that I wouldn’t be able to chew my food properly if I didn’t get braces. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone searching for a new dentist.***Update 9/23/24*** I received a bill in the mail from Pleasant Hill Dentistry for the non- existent service. I walked out of the office before any work was done on my teeth. Extremely unprofessional and shady practice.

When I moved here several years ago, I wanted to find a family dentist to go to for years. I looked at Dr. Bautista's good reviews and he was close to where I live, so I tried going there. My whole family has been going there since. The staff is like family to me now. Dr. Bautista is very knowledgeable, and doesn't recommend unnecessary work. He identified that my son was 'tongue tied' and helped him get the necessary surgery to improve his speech. I've been worried about certain aspects of my and my family's dental health, he assured me and he was right. So through all my different dentist experiences, I have found the one for my family.
