Experiencia negativa: Went in to ask a question about my insurance. Lady was super friendly with the lady in front of me. Looked at me and went and sat down and pretended to be clicking on her computer, there was another lady at the front who looked me directly in the eyes and didn’t even acknowledge me or the fact that I was standing there. She looked back down like she was getting something from underneath her desk, the other lady who was fake clicking finally says can I help you while still sitting down. I said never mind and walked out the door. Just rude. If this is how you treat customers/patients thanks for letting me know in advance.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid. I was in there five years ago and they tried to tell me to remove my tooth and replace it with a crown because I had a tiny fracture. I got a second opinion and never looked back. They were LOOKING for work, and they will do the same to you. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. If I took their advice, I'd be without a tooth and I'd have a crown that they would love to maintain. They also used their laser to clean my teeth for an upcharge. Teeth looked identical and I could feel them burn my gums. DO NOT GO HERE. I am looking out for you. You are a cash source to them, and that was entirely clear, rather than a person who deserves their respect and care. Cannot recommend the way they do business, sorry. This isn't the way.

We fully support patients seeking second opinions and encourage informed decision-making.
Our goal with any treatment is patient comfort, safety, and long-term oral health—not unnecessary procedures. We regret that this visit left you with a negative impression. Experiencia fantástica: My dad is almost 99 years old and in a nursing home. He dropped his top dentures and they broke in half for the second time. We took them to Richland Dental to see if there was any possible way they could repair them without seeing my dad. He is unable to walk or get around. They called their lab and explained the situation to them. His dentures are very old and we were told there was no guarantee that they could be repaired but took on the task anyway. They actually were able to repair them and in a very short time as they knew my dad’s situation. The first time my dad put them on they went right in and there are no problems with them at all. He’s had them for three days now and told us they are better than they were before and working out wonderfully! There are no sore areas or any other issues with them. We are very satisfied with the help and care we received from everyone at Richland Dental.

Experiencia negativa: While I acknowledge that I had work that needed to be done, my experience at this dental practice left me feeling like the primary concern was the money rather than my actual care. It seemed that once they saw I had insurance and needed treatment, I was viewed more as a way to make money rather than a patient in need of proper care. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, their prices are significantly higher than most other dental clinics. They also threaten you with a $50 cancellation fee, so something to consider and on my last visit, I couldn’t access my FSA money due to a job change, and when I explained this to mansi insisted I “respect the doctor’s time,” and charged me an extra $100 for her time. Additionally, on multiple occasions, she suggested I apply for a medical credit card to cover the high costs, which added to my discomfort. That said, I do want to acknowledge that Dr. Siddharth Talsania and the staff are always very friendly and kind. Unfortunately, despite their positive attributes, I get the feeling that Mansi's focus is more on financial gain than patient well-being. It’s unfortunate because I no longer feel comfortable or happy visiting this practice. I wish them the best, but for me, it’s hard to shake the feeling that money is the priority.

Experiencia negativa: It would have been so much more helpful if the office staff had called anytime before our 1:45pm appointment to tell me they don't accept my insurance. I'm not super familiar with HMO dental plans but they seem to be. Instead of calling me Monday morning so I could seek care elsewhere, they give me a form explaining out of pocket costs. Then tell me to wait to talk to the doctor. For what? To tell me you don't take my insurance? Our former dentist cancelled our appointment days before it was scheduled and we leave the country in a week. Luckily I found a dentist that accepts our insurance and will call me if there are any problems with verifying eligibility. Please put people first. Not your business.

While the staff at Richland Dental was kind and professional, the pricing feels unreasonably inflated. I can’t justify paying double when I can receive the same quality treatment elsewhere. Unfortunately, they won’t be getting any more of my business.

Experiencia negativa: The place seemed nice. The service was great. HOWEVER, I got charged over $300 when I first visited which to me was unreasonable just for regular cleaning. There were items like oral evaluation, photographic images, root planning etc. I was surprised because no dentists I visited ever this expensive or ever asked me to do random stuff. I contacted my insurance company and they said I should pay $133.60 out of pocket. I emailed them what my insurance says. My issue never get fixed. Waste of time :( OMG I just saw so many reviews who had the same trouble with costs and insurance like me. Very sketchy.

Experiencia fantástica: I was out of town on a business trip when I had a dental emergency. I called the office and they were able to get me in within an hour. The staff was able to check my insurance and was friendly and professional. They were able to resolve the problem and even stayed after hours to get it done. They definitely went above and beyond. I wish I lived in Richardson I would definitely recommend them if you live nearby.

Experiencia negativa: At first I felt that they were kind and professional. Which they are, but I went in for a cleaning and I explained I had some pain with a wisdom tooth. I was immediately pushed to get an extraction procedure done that same day and was told I had to pay up front. Like the review below, they were very aggressive and pushy. It was difficult to understand everything that was happening, but I believed in the urgency of the situation, and even used my very low savings to cover the cost. It wasn’t until a couple of weeks later that I spoke with my insurance and they explained everything, told me that sometimes healthcare offices do this when they are out of network. My insurance office also told me that they had not received a claim from them at all. This was concerning, so I called their office and asked about this, stating that I genuinely did not know the doctor that did the extraction was a specialist and “out of network” and that I didn’t recall them telling me about it. The response I received was a very condescending and out of touch. She kept talking down to me as if I was stupid for not remembering EVERYTHING she had explained and that basically she did everything right and I was wrong. I was left with a very sad feeling in my gut that showed me they pretend to be overly “nice” but really only care about getting your money, and covering their behind. Turns out they were “missing paperwork” and so they just sent the claim to my insurance today… I won’t be using them again and I will tell my family to cancel with them as well.

Experiencia positiva: Very polite and nice people. However had issues with properly understanding my insurance and staff were aggressive to sign a financial liability form to collect cash up front. I had to facilitate a conference call with insurance to clear things up. Also charged $15 to release X-ray….not sure why that is needed.

What I most appreciate is their dedication to dental health versus being obsessed with cosmetic issues. I've never waited very long to get in they are also really great at explaining what they intend to do and answering your questions. They continue to excel at what they do best simply doing all they can to help you keep your teeth. Surely I'm the worst case they have experienced !
