They were incredibly attentive, took all my concerns seriously, and never once dismissed how I was feeling. 6 months ago Experiencia negativa: I went to do a deep cleaning, when they told me it was going to be a 3 month period wait I was shocked, so I left to wait for my appointment only to be called back to the office because the dentist found time squeeze me in. Only to find out they only had time to do half of my mouth and that my appointment that i have in 3 months would be for my second half. they told me I would be put on a on call list, to squeeze me in for my second half deep cleaning. Today I went to another dentist office in Lynwood called PhD dental in Lynwood as was taken care of their same day for both sides of my teeth. The office workers are amazing but the I just didn’t like the system that is being run there.

In this situation, there were multiple last-minute cancellations and missed appointments over several months, which made reserving extended treatment time challenging. Our team made repeated efforts to accommodate specific day and time requests, and we were glad we were able to begin your deep cleaning once time was secured.
Regarding completing a full-mouth deep cleaning in one visit, most insurance providers require scaling and root planing to be divided into two separate appointments in order for the treatment to be covered. For that reason, it is typically scheduled in two visits. This is a standard insurance guideline and not unique to our office.
As a private practice, we prioritize quality of care over speed. Deep cleanings in our office are performed by licensed dental hygienists who specialize in periodontal therapy and preventive care. While general dentists are trained in all aspects of dentistry, we believe patients receive the highest level of care when procedures are performed by providers who focus specifically on that area of expertise.
Because skilled hygienists are in high demand, their schedules often book in advance. Some offices may use General Dentists or even Dental assistants to perform deep cleanings to save money and allow same-day treatment; however, our priority is ensuring each procedure is completed thoroughly and by the appropriate provider, even if that requires additional scheduling.
We did our best to accommodate your request by completing half of the treatment during the time available and placing you on a priority list for the remaining portion. While we regret that our scheduling approach did not meet your expectations, we respect your decision and are glad you were able to find an office that better suited your timeline.

I’ve had LOTS of work done on my teeth during that time and I’ve always had positive experiences. My family loves getting teeth cleaned by Josie. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been looking for a dentist that is kind, compassionate and genuinely cares about their clients and I didn’t think it was possible to find. I’ve had such horrible experiences in the past with other practitioners that I regrettably put my dental care on the back burner. I had to get a dreaded root canal and I’ve heard so many scary things about them that I was a nervous wreck! Dr. J really made sure I was comfortable and reassured me that it would be as painless and quick as possible. He constantly checked in with me to be sure I was doing ok, which made me feel better. The whole team there really took the time to make me feel safe and relaxed. I’d also like to shout out how amazing the desk staff is. Always SO warm and welcoming. Kelly was amazing also and really takes an interest in the patients they see. I’ve had two appointments already and it’s weird to say, but I’m looking forward to my future visits with them. If you’re looking for top tier care from compassionate professionals, this is your place! I cannot thank this team enough.

Many patients are nervous about seeing a dentist as this causes aniexities. Dr. Michelle listened to my concerns and fears and went overboard to ensure I'm as comfortable as possible. She's kind and considerate. I have lots of anxiety and the experience of having a crown replacement and a filling resulted in minimal to no discomfort. Some dentists are in a hurry and put little effort into listening to their patients ensuring that they have a great experience. I highly recommend her. All the staff and doctor are so nice and warm. They are professional and always care about the patient’s feelings. I visited at Dec and usually they’re busy. That same nervousness was washed away upon it interacting with all the employees present. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Last weekend, my son accidentally chipped his tooth while playing tennis, and we were understandably panicked as we searched for a dentist who could help. Thankfully, we found Dr. Javid at Toothopia, who graciously agreed to assist us immediately. He dedicated a significant amount of time to carefully bond the chipped tooth, and the results were nothing short of amazing—it looked as if it had never been damaged! Please see before and after pictures attached so you can see the fantastic work for yourself. The entire staff at Dr. Javid's office was incredibly professional and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere despite it being a Monday morning.
