Experiencia fantástica: I needed to have a crown and bridge replaced and it was PAINLESS! It took two and a half hours to remove the crown and prepare for the replacement. Dr Withers is amazing. It was peaceful during the procedure and when the Novocaine wore off I had no pain. This is consistent with all the procedures Dr Withers has done for me. Definitely 5 stars unless I can give 6!

Front desk, financial, hygienists, to Dr. Brian have all taken great care of me. I had work done recently and was extremely anxious but Dr. Brian and Vanessa did a wonderful job making the procedure less painful and less scary. Be back in 2 weeks for the next round and though it’s a lie to say I’m looking forward to it, I certainly feel grateful knowing the team at Withers Dental will be taking care of me. Thank you all!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Wither's Dental about 30 years. My husband has gone even longer. We both started with the OG man himself, the original Dr. Withers - Brian's dad. He was awesome! Brian is great. He's updated the practice with cool new tools, techniques and gadgets to make us patients feel more safe and more educated about our tooth health. There is only one down side I have ever seen in this practice and wonderful team of pro's. The practice itself deserves 5 stars but their parking deserves negative -2 stars. There is never a place to park. That said I've stepped away and tried other dental practices that are a more convenient and a shorter drive from my Torrance home and have hugely spacious parking lots and offices. But then I keep coming back to Wither's! They are that good! The 3 other practices I tried and took my teen to along with me, either had questionable practices, aggressive financial practices, or misdiagnoses of unneeded procedures -- all that concerned me and had me coming back to Withers. Convenience is always key in my busy life but my dental health matters more as does my confidence in a practice. Wither's Dental gets FIVE stars in trustworthiness, diagnoses and practices. They are also immediately on call if a painful tooth emergency arises. Recently, I am temporarily disabled and walk with a cane. I cannot park blocks away and hike up a steady hill as I've always done in the past. Usually I book a 7am appointment to secure the only handicapped parking spot in front of their office. Today I couldn't go at 7am, so the staff came to my rescue and kindly moved one of their cars to let me park. How is that for kind and super service! Between that and Alyssa, my hygienist's friendly service, Withers practice turned what could be an unpleasant dental visit into a pleasant one. Go to Withers. You won't regret it!

Not only are the hygienist and Dr Withers masters of their craft with superior bedside manners- the front desk and finance team go above and beyond to make sure they represent their clients. My insurance company initially denied a claim which was then appealed by the finance team- with supporting documentation and thorough descriptions detailing the need for service. Not only were they successful in getting my insurance to cover (what was rightfully covered) - I was never harassed or demanded to pay in the interim. This highlights how Dr. Withers’ practice prioritizes their customers experience and is worth every penny!

Dr. Withers (aka Dr Brian), is so understanding and helped me stay calm during the procedure. His wingwoman, Dental Assistant Melissa, was very kind and caring. They both did not rush me and checked frequently to ensure I was okay. The procedure went very quickly and painlessly. The cherry on top is Dr. Brian called me that evening to check on me and be sure I was not experiencing any discomfort. WOWWOWWOW! That’s “old school” service and care for your patient. I cannot express how much I appreciated the call. This level of true caring plus his expert knowledge and conservative approach is why my whole family goes to Withers Dental. We continue to recommend his and his team to everyone!

She said, "Dr. Withers is an artist," and so I had to see for myself. I cheated on my dentist of 10+ years to have a consultation with Dr. Withers for veneers. Pleased to report he is, indeed, an artist. My new veneers (8 teeth) are natural, beautiful and have given me a wonderful boost of confidence. I got a two hour visit to do ALL the things - X-rays, 3D scan, oral cancer check, use of AI software called Second Opinion to read the X-rays, cleaning, chat with Dr Withers, etc. my hygienist Kayla was amazing! Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this office! Michelle was incredibly gentle and did a thorough job with my cleaning - my teeth have never felt so squeaky clean! One of the highlights was the advanced technology they use. Michelle scanned my entire mouth with a special machine, which created a “before and after” imagine of my smile. The doctor was able to review my areas of concern with me and showed me what my “after” smile could look like if we made a few adjustments. It was really helpful when making my decision.

I am seeing Kayla for dental cleaning. Kayla uses the high spray water cleaning, which I prefer. Today Kayla did the water cleaning, a little scraping, polishing, flossing, and lazer (costs extra...but I have noticed great results). I needed more preventative care, and have been very satisfied with this practice. This office is great with children, teens, adults, and seniors. The quality of care is top notch. And on top of that she was friendly and made going in for a cleaning a pleasant experience.

They worked rapidly and accommodated me with a very early appointment due to my busy work schedule with days. I was very impressed in the professionalism at the front check-in desk as well as my hygienist Lucy. Lucy was phenomenal. As it was my first visit, I explained how x-rays gave me reflexes. She was very gentle kind and patient with me. The almost 2 hours I spent with Lucy from beginning to end of my entire first appointment, Lucy was super gentle that I didn’t even feel much going on, to the sense that I almost fell asleep in the chair!! Highly recommend Withers Dental and especially hygienist Lucy. Customer for life.

So sweet, tells you everything in detail from A-Z, she did everything with such detail/perfection. I can’t wait to return in 6 months for my next scheduled teeth cleaning. Oh, which reminds me! They offer this amazing in house Insurance plan which I think is so convenient. I paid $605 for my one year insurance plan. It includes 2 regular cleaning per year. 1 Dr. Exam, XRays, 1 ER visit and 10% off any treatment. Highly recommend

Experiencia negativa: This review has been a long time coming. The rest of the reviews on here must but be fake or paid, or they select who they want to treat appropriately. I came in at the beginning of the year to have them look at some pain I was having in my upper gum/tooth. The dental tech in the office that day literally did not know how to take X-Rays after numerous attempts of trying and with Dr. Withers in the office. They were literally causing me more pain with the amount of attempts to take an XRAY and after a half hour they still could not get the imagery they desired. So Dr. Withers decided to just wing it and look via his mouth mirror to "eyeball" it and couldn't see anything on the surface. Additionally, I scheduled a tooth cleaning with an appointment for 2 months out. After waiting for 2 months, to include with no improvement in my gum pain that I initially came in for, they cancelled the day of my cleaning appointment at 7am. Without any apology, they stated that I would have to wait an additional 2 months to get another appointment, as their schedule was already booked for other people to come in. They literally did not care and didn't even try to fit me in as a result of their appalling cancellation 2 hours prior to my appointment, and literally had the audacity to tell me they would not see me for an additional 2 months and refusing to make exception to fit me into their schedule. I declined and began to look elsewhere for my dental work. Approximately a month thereafter, I began to receive text messages, yes text messages with no introduction of whom they were coming from. I had to put 2+2 together to determine that it was their office that was texting me at 7pm to come in the following morning at 8am for an appointment stemming from a last minute cancellation. First of all, I work and don't hang on a string waiting to come in at a moments notice. Second, I never gave you consent to start texting me at random times. Speaks about your professionalism that your office couldn't even give me a courtesy call for when you cancelled on me morning of, then randomly a month later for an appointment that I never made. Literally a joke. Hope my experience was a one off and that you treat your other clients and dental patients better than you treated me. Never returned and can't recommend for others to do the same.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m a longtime client and went for my regular teeth cleaning, but this time during the pandemic. The new check-in procedures are safe and straight forward: the lobby is limited as to reduce contact with other clients, the front desk staff took my temperature and asked me a series of questions regarding my recent health status and possibility of exposure, and was allowed to proceed with my appointment once gaining approval. The fact that all staff was equipped with appropriate PPE for their duties and the addition of large medical air purifiers throughout the office made me feel safe to visit. Ana, the hygienist who I’ve had before, thoroughly cleaned my teeth and was friendly as always. Update 8/21/2024: everything I said about the office last time still holds true. I had a different hygienist this time, also named Ana, who was very thorough in cleaning my teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m from NJ and had an emergency while visiting friends in the area. My permanent crown became dislodged. I called the office at 4:45pm and explained the situation and need to get the crowns reset. The office staff explained they were closing at 5:00, but could help me the next day. I went on for a noon appointment and was met with bite friendliest team I have ever encountered in dentistry, or any medical practice. The hygienist, I’m sorry I forgot her name, was AMAZING! friendly, nice, attentive! And Dr. Withers was just as nice and attentive to a one time patient! If you’re lucky enough to live in the area do yourself a favor and go to Withers Dental!

I am a new patient of Dr. Withers and he went out of his way to fully introduce himself, welcome me to the practice and offered up even his personal cell if I ever have questions or concerns. I don’t love going to the dentist but walking into an office where the people are genuine and take time to listen and make you feel welcome makes all the difference. Highly recommend.
