Lester, the hygenist, is super amazing; hes friendly, he cleans fast, and he'll numb your gums up with the benzocaine gel for it if you ask so you dont feel the scraping. My dentist is Dr. Nguyen, she's also awesome and has a really calming demeanor and yesterday she put a crown on my tooth and I can't even tell it's in there, feels like my normal tooth, im still kind of freaking out about it lol

Experiencia negativa: Just had the worst experience. I broke my temporary crown on my only molar left that I can chew with. I am in horrible pain and was told the only appointment available was 4 days out. I was called by the office, and asked to reschedule, another two days later...I can not eat solid food, and I am in horrible pain. I let them know and they insisted on rescheduling my appointment, even though the ealiest I could reschedule was for 7 days after I broke the crown off, since they couldnt keep my orignial appointment date. I will be finding a new dentist immediately.

Experiencia negativa: This place told me they take my insurance. I got there and they want $584 for a cleaning! That’s with insurance! Without insurance they are telling me a teeth cleaning cost $2,500! I’ve never heard of anything like that in my entire life.

Had a very bad experience with the Stuart office and was just DESPERATE for help when I dialed PBG office… no questions asked: we have an appointment set for Friday! I was hoping a little sooner but I will ABSOLUTELY take it! And be happy about it! So far so good PBG Office! You guys are the real MVP’s for taking my concern seriously! THANK YOU!

Today my crown came off and they were able to see me almost immediately- less than an hour after I called- and did not charge me at all. No unexpected costs just a quick repair for the original work done a year ago. I was back to work right after. I appreciate the efficiency!

I went in for a cleaning and was told my xrays looked great, my gums were great (no bleeding) but because I had a little (minute- barely noticeable) bone loss in 2 front teeth which may stem fr bacteria (i am 54 yrs old) she wanted to treat my cleaning like "gingivitis." Not knowing what that meant, I was like okay..whatever you say.. until the hygienist came in with an invoice for $175 for a special cleaning. I demanded to speak to the dr and said i don't have gingivitis and she had said everything looked great. She then proceeded to say that since I missed my last 2 cleanings (my previous dentist stopped accepting my insurance) that she had to do a deep scaling for the 1 st time at her office. Believe me, I have my own cleaning tool at home and take care of my teeth. My normal cleaning would suffice. They just wanted to upcharge me.(not to mention trying to sell me invisilgn for a couple of teeth that maybe rotating in my otherwise perfectly straight teeth) If they didn't want to accept my insurance because possibly they don't get paid enough then that's on them. they wasted my time. I'm totally disgusted. NEVER see a dentist that's in a shopping plaza named GREAT EXPRESSIONS! SOUNDS LIKE A NEW CHAIN TO ME. It's tough to find a dentist where you can easily make an appointment, feel comfortable while in the chair, and receive personalized care. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Michelle. She actually took time to review my X-Rays and teeth in detail, listen to my history, and provide me with a variety of treatment options. I felt that she truly cared about me as an individual patient. I'm not often impressed with healthcare providers, but this was a pleasant exception.

Experiencia negativa: Run away. I have always done bi-annual cleanings and taken great care of my teeth every day. This is the first dentist to ever tell me I needed all these expensive (and of course not covered by insurance) antibiotic shots for my cleaning. They told my husband the same. Then on top of all that, they signed us up for some kind of third-party dental insurance coverage without our knowledge or consent, and that company has been billing us for the last two years without our knowledge— we already have insurance and we don’t even live in the area anymore, why would we ever sign up for that? No one even apologizes for that inconvenience or can produce evidence that we ever signed up. Seems like the theme in their reviews is that they abuse patient trust to sell snake oil. Don’t put yourself through that.

Experiencia negativa: Every time I come to this office , I am never seen close to my appointment time. I’m currently still waiting for my daughter to be seen at 3:05 and her appointment was at 2:30. Meanwhile the office is very unorganized and they skip around patients. A woman and her son came in way after me and were taken back before my daughter. This is unacceptable . Mean while the lobby is full and still waiting 45 minutes after her initial appointment time.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate this office a 0 star rating I would. My experience here was no less than horrific. I work in the medical field and have had very few experiences as bad as this one. I went in expecting a traditional cleaning. I was informed that I needed a deep cleaning and before I could give my consent they brought the injections and other equipment to preform the procedure. I then refused the treatment and was badgered to do it anyway. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they said that a deep cleaning was completely unwarranted. I also was told that I had measurements done at Great Expressions but they would not share with me what they were. When the other dentist asked for the x ray images the Great Expressions team was highly uncooperative to provide them. I have since been harassed to pay additional money even though I paid at the appointment and was told that my services were covered. I will be reporting this office and the Dentist to the Dental Medical Board of Florida and may be getting a lawyer involved for negligence and misrepresentation.

Experiencia negativa: I was treated as if i was some sort of inconvenience. I wasn't allowed to complete new patient forms before I was rushed in to take 15-20 x-rays of every conceivable angle of my mouth. The tech was short with me and was happy to let drool spill on to my chin and remain there when removing xray implements. A person who I assume was the Doctor (she didnt introduce herself) showed me a blurry xray and immediately tried to sell a bunch of services and products not covered by insurance because she insisted I have neglected my dental health and have crowded teeth. I think the staff here should consider a career change. I think they would do quite well at selling used cars.

I had an appointment at 3:30 and 4:00PM and at 4:46 I am told that the dental hygienist cannot stay late and the doctor was going a crown that had unforeseen complications. I took off of work unpaid to do this. I cannot believe that I had to wait over an hour and 26 minutes just to be told that all we can do is X-rays and not a cleaning when the office purposely booked me back to back appointments as a promise to do everything. I had to leave in tears and filed a complaint with Met Life for my Insurance.

However, I would love to see some of the same faces. I really missed seeing Camille on the last visit. She was the one face that has been there for over 10 years and look forward to seeing. Experiencia negativa: Do not recommend. I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room for a start. They took the x-ray. Then the dentist came and showed me one blurry xray to tell me I needed a deep cleaning instead of regular (new patient with them, but I regularly go to the dentist) and of course not covered by my insurance (and they tried to sell me their invisilne whatever while I am perfectly happy with my smile, no need to make me feel bad). I knew I didn’t need that. (Went to another dentist the next day, guess what: regular cleaning was perfectly fine…) The receptionist was very nice, but the dentist needs to be a healthcare professional (especially with a new client that is evaluating if I will trust your practice) and not a sale representative of whatever brand they are working with.

However, I was met with friendly faces and great care at Great Expressions in Palm Beach Gardens! Their dental hygienist, Lester, was tasked with giving me several deep cleanings over the course of the past month. Each time I was handled with care and treated kindly. I was educated on the importance of caring for my gums and how to go about it. Overall, a great experience and I’m no longer nervous about visiting the dentist :)

I went to another dentist and they cemented the crown for $ 250. Shame on you i will never go back there.

The ladies at the front have excellent customer service. Lester, the dental hygienist, is very detail oriented, patient, and explains everything he does in your mouth. If I could review them separately they would get more than five stars from me. But the misinformation that I kept getting whenever I see a dentist regarding the Invisalign has been frustrating. I was going to switch offices but now I just want a dentist who is more involved with their patients.

Experiencia negativa: Over an hour wait to see the dentist. Forced annual x-rays had been taken prior to speaking with dentist. Deep cleaning was suggested at $1000.00 for two visits. I was not prepared for high cost. Credit application was extended which I don't want credit debt. I asked for general cleaning which is what I wanted in the first place. Dentist advised no other option available to clean teeth nor offered. I always get my teeth cleaned. I was already in the dental chair. I had to walk out!

Experiencia negativa: I have been with this office for YEARS & my latest experience has me completely HORRIFIED! Dr. Polina Bykovskaya was THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! Was at the office at 9:10 & taken back at 9:55 for my 9:30am apt. Dentist walks in, very rude, doesnt introduce herself properly & cuts me off when im trying to speak. Tells me she will be back after my xrays, FINALLY comes back, tells me she will make a new treatment plan & will come back to talk to me. she NEVER comes back!!! The office manager comes with the treatment plan, i point out that it says tooth X but i dont have tooth X, she asks the dentist who proceeds to get a nasty attitude because her mistake was pointed out. I am the patient and i am entitled to know what the heck is going on with my teeth and i am allowed to asl questions!! I tell them i want to do the work i came in to get done & dentist tells the office manager no. She will take me after lunch at 3pm-i has been sitting in the office since 9:10!!! Corporate sides with the dentist to make me wait even though i had been there for 3 HOURS already! They should’ve called future patients telling them the dentist is running behind (which has been done to me multiple times) while i have my appointment finished then she moves on to the other patients there who arrived after me. But nope. Horrible!! Then im at the desk waiting with questions, i see the dentist walk in a room, i go tell her i need to speak with her & she mumbles something and points to the desk. I go back & wait for her. She leaves that room & walks into another room-completely ignoring me!!! I go back again & say i need to speak with you, she finally comes up and doesn’t make eye contact, mumbled something to the office manager and walks away AGAIN!! My questions still unanswered! She is disrespectful, rude, unprofessional- she shouldn’t be responsible for patients dental wellbeing!! She racist- talks calmly and nicely to the white patients & listens to them & is rude to the others while cutting them off. Dr Polina has ZERO bedside manner, doesn’t know how to talk to patients & has made it clear she doesn’t know how to do her job! Now with all of that negativity, i do want to give praise where its deserved!! The hygienist Lester has been there for years and is amazing! The office manager Shenique is the BEST I’ve ever seen! Lastly the dental hygienist Marquisha is amazing!! These ladies made my experience less traumatizing but Dr Polina needs to be fired!!!! How am I supposed to go back to get work done when I don’t trust this woman in my mouth with sharp objects! If I could give zero start, i would!

Experiencia negativa: Seeing the post about a NEW dentist potentially showing bias based on race and having a nasty attitude is really worrisome. I am currently searching for a dentist as I am enrolling in benefits. I check out reviews as I already have a genuine fear of going to the dentist. In Healthcare you need to understand that patients are vulnerable in your facilities. They are depending on YOU to make them feel safe, especially when you are utilizing tools that could potentially be harmful to the patient. This is a no Bueno me, I don't play like that and I refuse to take that chance. It's a HARD PASS for me.

Experiencia negativa: This rating is solely based on my interaction with the newest dentist. Unfortunately, the turnover for dentists is high. I have had several dentists during the 13 years of being a patient and they were all good, 2 were great. However, this newest detist is awful. I like the location and loved that the hygienist and 1 dental assistant has been a constant. Their presence balanced the quick overturn of dentists. The dental assistant had been with the company for more than 19 years but at my recent visit, I learned she was no longer with the company. After meeting the new dentist who was abrasive, rude, condescending and dismissive, it made sense why the assistant of 19 years was no longer working there. The dentist did not examine the tooth that I complained about. She proceeded to scold me for missing my regularly scheduled cleaning and as I proceeded to explain that I was also scheduled with the hygienist on that day but because of the pain, I scheduled to see her prior to my cleaning appointment. She interjected and rudely said "I will tell you what is wrong" and continued saying you need to keep your scheduled cleanings and schedule with the hygienist with no regard for me telling her I had an appointment with the hygienist that I was already late for because she took more than hr. to come into my room. It seemed that she picked rooms to enter based on a preference system and as a result, I was often looked over. She was rude and disrespectful to me and the Black staff members. She spoke in a harsh tone then went into a room with a White woman where her tone softened as she introduced herself and she empathetically asked what brings you in today. Based on my person interaction with the newest dentist, she is unprofessional, racially biased and unequipped to be responsible for individually caring for a case load of patients.

After telling Dr. Rachel Travieso Peralta my past experiences she was very patient and kind as well as great at her job. Her staff are amazing. They are all so sweet and attentive. I’m glad I made the switch to her office, even though I’ve had to get quite a few procedures done that are not fun. (Root canal and crowns). She made them easier to deal with. Thank you!!

Experiencia negativa: Front Desk worker Shenique Terriell is always very rude. In person and on the phone. Whenever I go they charge me more than agreed upon and do not tell me why. I paid almost $800 for a deep clean. Then they tell me I owe more on a crown I had recently done. When I asked they said insurance didn't pay. Well, I called my insurance company and they did pay $172 and advised me my portion was to be $570, because their contracted set amount for a crown is $742. Well, I paid $601 and now they are telling me I owe more $!. In addition, they filled 3 cavities for my daughter that the insurance Co advised had been filled earlier in the year. They reviewed both sets of Xrays, and it did not show this work the second time was medically necessary. On a side note the dentist cut my tongue during crown prep and blamed me for " moving" . Something is not right with this Great Expressions location. I let the cut tongue slide, the front office rudeness, but they are trying to take advantage now financially I believe

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience! Had an appointment today for a cap on my 8 year old daughters tooth. Mind you this appointment was scheduled a month and a half ago. I get there, check in and I’m waiting. The receptionist comes up to me to tell me that the dental assistant is running late. That she lives up north and it will be a wait and they don’t know how long it will take. She asks me if I want to reschedule. I asked her when is the next available appointment and she tells me, May. I told her I have to wait another month for my daughter to get her cap. So I told her ok fine I’ll wait. Five minutes into waiting and I came to my senses and decided to leave. I go up to desk to inform the receptionist that I’m just going to find another dental office and I ask for my daughters dental records. She hands me a post it and tells me to call corporate. I said im not calling anyone. Im standing right here, give me my daughters records. They REFUSED to give me the records. I asked numerous times for her records. There were 3 ladies at the front in total and all of them started to ignored me! How unprofessional and disrespectful. They violated my daughters HIPPA rights and I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Board of Dentistry. I DO NOT recommend this office. The front desk receptionists need to learn how to be professional. Such a humiliating experience and all in front of my daughter!

Experiencia negativa: My Husband went to have his tooth pulled out. very painful and the area go infected. Also, My husband paid $700 deposit at the time of the visit for an implant of a new tooth but decided not do it there due to the problem arising from the extraction. That was in November. I am still trying to get a refund on that payment. I spoke to the receptionist there to help, which was completely useless. She gave me the so called corporate number. SO, I started to call the corperate office 5 minutes after the office open and was on hold for about 2 hours before i was offered a call back. I left my call back 5 times two weeks ago and you will be lucky if you get a call back one -two weeks later because i learned there is only one employee who amswers and returns called and told me had had over 200+ calls to return. Today, I get a call back that they are holding the funds from the procedure which never took place to pay for balance due without informing us and without sending any invoice to inform us of their intentions of using the funds which are due back to my husband. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE OR GIVE THEM ANY ADVANCE MONEY.. I would give it a zero star for billing and customer support and front staff will get 2 star.. I am about go the legal track to get the money issue. PLEASE take this as a Warning.

Experiencia negativa: This office used to be great about a yr ago. Dr Saures left. The new dentist is not great & the front office staff is not only extremely rude but also loses records, over bills & then is nasty about it. I have no co-pay but was still billed over $100 for an exam. I was told “well we need to make money” so you need to pay, I said I have insurance for that reason. They said that’s not our problem! I highly recommend shoreline smiles instead!! They are sweet & actually care about your dental health & wont over charge you.

Experiencia negativa: I used to love going to this office but lately there has been so many different staff members in and out, it's like a revolving door. I can honestly say I don't feel as excited about going to this office as much as I used to. I do appreciate Camelle and Lester for being the two familiar faces I see every time i go in. They are both amazing. I enjoy how educated Lester is. Though I am highly disappointed with the last few doctors they have had in the office. I dont feel any true connection with them and I don't feel they truly care about their patient needs. Feel more like just a different "case" for them. With the amount of different staff going in and out makes me want to find a new dental home; if I'm being 100% honestly. The moment Camelle or Lester is no longer there, I will absolutely not be a faithful patient at PBG Great Expressions any longer.

Experiencia negativa: They reschedule my 5 year old twice for an extraction, every time we went for appointment they cancel the procedure giving us the runaround on why they can’t do it, if u don’t want to loose time work for wasted time STAY AWAY from this place, ps the receptionist is vey rude on the phone.. Will find a new doctor for my son..
