My hygenist, Michael, does such a thorough job cleaning my teeth and goes out of his way to make sure I am leaving fully informed about my visit. Dr. Ma is head dentist who sees me periodically before my cleanings evaluating my teeth, x-rays, etc. I would highly recommend Sage Dental to anyone looking for a good practice without the high price tag of private dentists.

I went in and Dentist sat me in front of computer images of my mouth and roasted my teeth for 5 min( I noticed Dentist listening next door as Assistant reviewing billing plan with me, RED FLAG) and told me I needed wisdom teeth pulled sent me to specialist in same practice. The specialist said I did NOT need them removed, just as I've been told many years. I got the claim from office and it said gentle dental! I Had such a bad experience there, didn't realize they just changed their name. I immediately canceled my upcoming deep cleanings and exams 1st Dentist scheduled me for. RUNNNN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM SAGE DENTAL!

I know chains can be iffy, however Sage Dental exceeds all expectations. Dr Ma is absolutely incredible, The Best! The whole staff deserve acknowledgement - assistants, front desk, billing, hygienist make the experience pleasant and easy. They are caring and go above and beyond. I would recommend anyone to this location. I also use the Lake Worth location for my adult braces and I have the same high praise for them.

Seriously, I'm in my 70's and I've been to many dentists and his are darn near painless, even the ones way in the back !! I even asked him how he does it and he admitted he practiced a lot to be able to do this. I never give reviews but when I find a great doctor, I have to do it as its getting rarer to find. His team of people Ro, Kitty and my favorite Maggie, outstanding. Im hesitant to leave this review as I want them all to myself. Just an outstanding group that's really hard to find nowadays

A friend recommended Sage Dental in Jupiter. I had a great experience largely thanks to Ro at the front desk. She was incredibly patient, helpful, and caring while helping me make appointments. It is clear she truly cares about patients and goes above and beyond to provide amazing service. The same can be said for the whole staff. The receptionist, hygienist, manager and Dentist are all great at what they do. Dr. Ma was very thorough in going over everything with me. I’ve had 3 visits so far and it’s always been great. I recommend you give this office and visit.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist is an absolute money hungry scam. DO NOT GO HERE. My fiancee went here for a routine teeth cleaning. They refused to do the cleaning and told her after X-rays and exam she had gum disease, multiple cavities and needed other dental work. They proposed a bill of thousands of dollars to her. She called me frantic and didn’t know what to do. Mind you, she isn’t even one to get nervous at dentists. I told her to go to a different dentist for a second opinion. The second dentist she went to said she doesn’t have gum disease, did the cleaning and told her she only has one cavity, much different than what Sage insisted. DO NOT GO HERE. Please don’t fall victim to this scammy dentist that is trying to milk you for every penny possible. 0/10!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I drove from Port Saint Lucie to go to Sage dental in Jupiter, because Aspen dental which was closest to me didn’t accept my insurance. The service was great. The people are great. The doctor recommended a treatment for my gums. Which I paid for. Insurance didn’t cover it. And I have 2 cavities that needed fillings. I paid for all the services and was scheduled to get the fillings done today. The office called me and said I needed to give my insurance information for this year. So they can bill me for the fillings. I already paid for it last year. Because they have to quote me for this year. I was taken aback by that because they quoted me already and I paid for the service already. I couldn’t make it last year to get the fillings. Again, I already paid for it. Now I get a call before my appointment that they have to quote me again. So they can bill my insurance for the service. I’m sorry but that screams deceptive practice. I always refer people to doctors I go to. But I won’t be referring anyone to this place. I’m going to take my sister’s advice and go to the dentist office she goes to. Even though it’s a little bit out of the way.

I’ve had quite a bit of dental work done here, and every single experience has been positive. After one of my procedures, Maggie (such a sweetheart, I swear I love her) even called me the next morning to make sure I was doing okay — that level of care truly meant so much to me. The team that I’ve interacted with, Dr. Ma, Michael, Z, Maggie, Sonia and Romae, always take the time to explain things, make sure I’m comfortable, and truly listen. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism with such compassion. I’m so grateful to have found a dental office I actually look forward to visiting!

Hygienist “Z” tells me my bill will be $46. I asked why and she said because of the varnish. She just carried on with the clean. I asked at front desk who told me that was optional - I was not given a choice at all. So far not so happy with this place

Experiencia negativa: Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve waited a long time to write this review, to ensure I still wanted to write it. I booked a cleaning back in November with this location. They rushed me into the back room and forced me to take X-rays, then proceeded to refuse to give me the cleaning that I booked. They said I had to come back another day for it. I was quite upset and they told me they wouldn’t be charging me as they knew I would probably leave this review. But guess what, they still charged my insurance. Which I’m not happy about. I changed dentists as I would never go back here, and since I paid for my X-rays they have to release them. But guess what, they sent me the wrong X-rays. This place is very unprofessional and I would advise everyone to look elsewhere before you go here.

Experiencia negativa: Awful dentist. They are clearly just in it for the money. They told me I had 6 cavities and would need to get periodontal planing done for early gum disease. I was devastated and sobbed in their office as they explained the cost of this treatment plan and how I would need to be back every few months for maintenance - I had explained to them before we even began how much dental anxiety I have and how it was difficult to bring myself to even book this appointment. However, I went to a different place for a second opinion and found out that I only had 3 cavities, no signs of early gum disease, and absolutely no need for the periodontal planing. I was also informed that my insurance wouldn’t have even paid for the procedure because my x-rays did not indicate whatsoever that it would be necessary. Shame on this office. I would’ve been out thousands of dollars and would have been caused significant emotional distress for absolutely no other reason than to line their pockets with more money.

Experiencia negativa: On the day I had an appointment, was 20 minutes early. Check in at the front desk, took a seat and waited. Patients came and went, I’m still sitting there. I waited an hour and half to be seen. I address this with the nurse at the desk. Then she called someone to tell them I was asking them about my appointment, another ten minutes passed before I was seen. Never again will I go to them, my insurance will not pay the bill because of how I was treated. It’s sad that they overlooked people, just talking and playing around the office not taking care of the patient. Will not recommend Sage Dental of Jupiter to anyone

Today I went for my impressions totally different and state of the art process compared to years ago !! Experiencia negativa: 0 stars! Do NOT go here. I started going to this location about a year ago and after my first x-ray I was told I needed to have crown work done on multiple teeth. After having my teeth drilled down to bits and temporary's placed, my insurance came back stating crowns were not necessary and they wouldn't cover the cost of them. It was months of back and forth trying to get it figured out while my insurance continued to deny the claim after multiple appeals stating crowns were unnecessary. Anyway, I continued as a patient and just had another round of x-rays done. Once again I was told crowns were needed, as well as root canals. They even threw in possible "mouth cancer" this time that needed to be monitored. When I requested they get preauthorization before drilling into my teeth, the Doctor practically stormed out of the room annoyed that I asked for such a reasonable thing. Seeing the way things were handled last time and the behavior from the Doctor this time, I decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion, where I was told my X-rays were clear - not a single cavity and no concerns or work needed!!! Had I not gotten this second opinion and blindly followed doctor's orders, I would have been subjected to painful procedures costing me thousands out of pocket. This place is using scare tactics and unethical conduct to get money out of you! STAY AWAY.

After going thru an awful set of experiences with my prior dentists I had lost faith that I would ever have my teeth fixed by somebody competent and maybe even likable. This all changed when I called Sage Dental in Jupiter and spoke to Madeline. She offered to help, gave me her direct phone number and on the following Monday I was already being evaluated by Dr Wa. Dr Wa had already reviewed my files but added pictures of the inside of my mouth and was able to show me with both the X-rays and the photos exactly what needed be done. Then Dr Wa explained his recommendations, told me what we would do first, the timing and asked me if I had any questions. Now that is how things should be done. Then, within 5 mins I received a breakdown of my charges, My insurance coverage and finally my charges and cost. I found a very personable and professional staff and a clean facility that is ultra-modern and state-of-the art, that you can see is run exceptionally well. After the x-rays Dr. Ma set me at ease by exhuding confidence and being a great communicator, explaining his treatment plan in great detail. I have a lot of dental work ahead of me, and I know I have found the right Doctor and right support staff. I highly recommend you visit Sage Dental if you are looking for a new dental provider.
