In my first appointment, she identified a serious infection that had gone undiagnosed back in New York. She then referred me to an exceptional oral surgeon, Dr. Bryan Christensen, for removal and implant. I was back at her office today for X-rays, an excellent cleaning by Gaby, and an exam by the doctor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Experiencia positiva: The staff is very friendly, I appreciate having the option to upgrade certain materials. I also really like being able to get a crown in-house same day. I took off one star because the payment process at the end of each appointment is often lengthy and confusing. On some occasions I am quoted one price and I have to clarify the work that was done and have the administrative staff double check and then adjust my cost. I'm often also tired and groggy and have to get back to work so sitting for an additional 15 to 20 minutes to make a payment is a little inconvenient.

Requiring hours of leg work (who keeps dental receipts after 2 years?) only to have them text us the day before Christmas saying everything was worked out and we now owe them $500! We have been with this practice for a couple of decades, but we are done after they did this to our family. We have no problem paying what we owe.

Experiencia fantástica: Four days ago, I started having pain in my teeth and jaw on just one side but couldn’t tell what the source of the pain was. I called Dr. Fresques’ office Monday and they got me in the same day. I thought I might be getting an abscess, even though I had been in for my regular cleaning and check up less than a month before this. Dr. Fresques ruled out an abscess, which was a great relief. The problem was a reaction to a medication. We came up with a treatment plan and I’ll follow up as needed. I really appreciate her taking the time to do a thorough exam. I had hoped the problem would just go away, and felt kind of silly taking her time but she was concerned and came up with a treatment plan which eased my concerns. Thank you, Dr. Fresques and team!

Experiencia fantástica: Hello people, the service I received from the team compels me to write a review. I haven't seen a dentist in ages. My problem, my shame. My mouth health was mediocre, like the roads of Salt Lake, for certain worse. I had a whole ecosystem living carefree between the interstices of my teeth. Kelp, Chlorella, minerals granite, raccoons, and rodants were coating my mouth too. So I pretty much felt ashamed to see any dentist, and my wallet has been shrinking, so I was unmotivated to fix anything. My friend Ben would show his beautiful smile after each schedule with Dr. Fresques. I was jealous! He recommended me to see them, which I did. Jiminy Cricket, this was an amazing decision! I felt scared as a little kid getting drop at school for the first time. Dr.Fresques and her staff were so welcoming and accepting that the blanket of anxiety I wore dropped off my shoulders! It was a judgement free greeting, and they offered many financial solutions to start working on them right away. I fell an immense sens of gratitude for Dr. Fresques and her magic staff!! I still pinch myself because what is happening to me is dreamy! Merci a vous! vous etes des êtres magnifique! I give the stamp of approval forever. Experiencia fantástica: I'm going to refrain from writing a 3 page long review, but that's how much I absolutely love Dr. Fresques and her staff! I'll start by pre-facing with some back info on myself. Since I was born, I've had an unrational fear of the dentist. Even my parents have no idea why. Combined with my anxiety, mild OCD and some PTSD I acquired as an adult, dentist offices and I don't get along. I also have awful genetics when it comes to teeth. No matter how good I take care of my teeth, I know I will always need major dental work done every year. It's exhausting. So finding a dentist I love, that believes me when I explain my emotional state, and that doesn't take advantage of my "goldmine" of a situation, has been impossible until now. I've gone through a LOT of dentists over the years, and with every single one I've felt they didn't really care about me, and some of them outright didn't even fake it. I've even had one tell me during a root canal that "I'm fine, it's almost done" when I told him I wasn't fully numb - because I wasn't- and he was only 30 mins into a 1.5 hr procedure. However, from the second Dr. Fresques introduced herself to me and let me spill my guts about my tooth problems, and had to watch me ugly cry, I could tell she genuinely cared. She listened to all of it and was gentle with her responses. I didn't feel ignored or get that "eye-roll" vibe at all. My initial appt was very long, almost 2 hrs, I think, because she was meticulously looking and relooking over every tooth and x-ray while also being so gentle as to not trigger my anxiety. I made it though the appointment with minimal crying and no full-blown anxiety attacks (my dental anxiety is no joke, it's SEVERE). Since day one she has been beyond understanding and patient. My work schedule changes weekly, and they always work with me on appt times. When I have dental emergencies, they always get me in ASAP. When they do my cleanings, they are gentle and take their time. At every single appt, even just a basic exam or x-rays, they continually check if I'm doing ok, do I need to take a break or get water, do I need nitrous for any anxiety I'm experiencing, etc. I never feel like a burden to them. They explain everything and sometimes multiple times, without complaint, when it isn't making sense to me. They always make multiple treatment plan options (at my request) so I can make sure I'm within my budget, but they make sure to keep the most important and immediate treatment included. She is up front about what can wait and what shouldn't, but without being pushy. I have never felt like I was just walking money to them. She genuinely cares about my tooth health and my overall health. She has never pushed me to do procedures I don't need and never been mad when I can't yet afford to do all the work I need. When I found an anesthesiologist who accepts Medicaid, they had no problem reaching out to them to have them come in for my appt. Like I stated at the beginning, I could rave for pages about how happy I am to have found this place! I just had a multiple hour appt today (5 hrs I think it was) where she did major work. As I looked at the results at home, I got very emotional. I can see a near future where my life isn't full of severe infections, having to pull teeth because I can't afford the dental work, or worrying about them literally falling a part. My constant tooth infections have even caused me to have skin issues (which I didn't initially link the two together), and since starting this journey, my face is cleaning up! An unexpected, very welcomed, additional outcome! I said I wouldn't write a novel, but all well lol They absolutely deserve it! Dr. Fresques and her staff are kind-hearted, passionate people who do amazing work. I'm very lucky, and grateful, to have picked their office from Google maps (lol) that day when I had yet another dental emergency, but had no clue where to go because we were new in town. I will always recommend them 110%! From the bottom of my heart, I really truly appreciate what you and your staff have done for me. ❤️

Experiencia negativa: This office was previously known as Mortensen Dental and now is Copper Canyon Dental. I have had issues with them since the beginning. When known as Mortensen Dental, they denied access to my service dog and made him check for my allergies outside the office. They claimed someone was allergic. After changing names I signed up for their wellness plan for a year. When my year expired they called serval times for me to sign up again (each time I stated no) and then my card was charged anyway. To top it off I had a chipped tooth that was repaired there a little over a year ago and it just broke again. I wasn’t even eating a hard food. I will not be back and have given them way more chances than I should have.

When I was unable to pay for everything up front; I was going to just suck up the pain and push through. The kindest lady worked with what I had and split the rest over a short period of time that I could pay so that I could get my pain taken care of. Talk about to notch customer care. Experiencia negativa: Awful experience. I wish I could write a negative star review. Spent more than for hours in the chair for a filling and a crown. The crown has caused excruciating pain and the dentist will not fix it. It seems like they went in, made a problem worse just so I would have to come back in and pay thousands more. I’ve already paid a couple thousand with this dentist, and the problems are so much worse since I went in. My entire extended family have found a new dentist. The hygienist was great, but if you want a quality dentist that cares for the patients and their own staff, this is not the place. Shotty work and a lazy dentist with poor time management is what you find here.
