Pinecrest strives to always give their patients the best care, putting the patient at ease, making it as painless as possible. I could not ask for a better dental practice.

Experiencia negativa: At first I liked them, I held off on changing my review. After they pulled my tooth, they THEN told me I had to pay in full. In my 44 years I never had a dentist NOT process the insurance claim. I had to send it to my insurance to get some reimbursement. Now they have been double paid. I will update if Pinecrest dental pays me back what they owe. I also had a checkup and they use AI to state I had 4 cavities: I haven’t had a cavity in years! I never saw the dentist that day, he was not in and I was not informed until after the cleaning. They hide everything until the end and they have you in there. I got a second opinion with my now dentist, and he stated ZERO cavities after taking new XRay’s and actually seeing me. Stay away! And if I have any issues getting the money they owe me I WILL go public with the media. This is also the better sleep side. Same company. They still haven’t properly processed my claim and I have paid in full. 8 months! And I’ve had to check up on everything! They are horrible!

Experiencia fantástica: Great , friendly knowledgeable dentist. Had a upper right implant before Christmas. Was a little nervous but no need. Went for a follow up yesterday. Implant has not moved. Will have tooth put on in March . Total under $2500. Choose your implant here. You can't go wrong !!

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to Dr. Williams for an adjustment to my sleep apnea mouth piece and while working with the problem, he found another issue which needs to be addressed. During and after my visits the office has been in touch with me making sure beginning treatments are working. I have never had a dentist follow up on work done before. It appears Dr Williams is set up with the latest available technology for treating dental issues and shows you why he makes recommendations. Very much appreciated.

Experiencia positiva: Prices way high ! ( good for them ) Craftsmanship no good for smokers ! Customer service excellent ! Great dentist, he likely would have done more to accommodate if I had spoke up. Yet this is. My story, I’m a 40+ born and raised Utahn. I smoke and drink coffee, with teeth to prove it. I went in for a simple chipped tooth repair, I was expecting $200-$600 for the fix, and I sure thought I needed it, ( image is valuable I work as an affordable handyman. 4E LLC you can find me on next door any home repair $50 per hour + parts ) along with a lot of other repairs. I talked with their finance guy for an hour about finding a solution for all of my teeth. Came up with a $679 a month plan, got my tooth fixed and went home smiling. Went in for again for a cleaning or something 30 -60 days later got the bill for $17,000 and tried to make the payments till I couldn’t. (My bad) They refunded what felt like $14,000 or so. ( I sure was stoked about that, I think they fired that finance guy) Three months later the tooth repair failed and was swallowed. 6 months later I went back and would have had to pay $400 more to have the tooth fixed again. Anyway 18 months later, I finally paid off that botched chipped tooth repair. And the stub of the tooth he worked on reminds me daily, I didn’t need his services.

Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this dentist. I went in to get A Feeling he talked me into pulling 2 teeth and put in a cap. On one tooth, the cap fell off 3 times on the third time. It took him 3 months to give me appointment to get it. Put back on which put me beyond the warranty time. He then wanted to charge me $617.When it should have been under warranty?I was told it would be under warranty because I left a bad review. Now, after 2 more months it fell off for the fourthis has been the worst experience with the dentist I have ever had.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Pope did a great job on my molar. It had been giving me problems for years and my guns were hurting all the time. I asked Dr Pope what he could do to fix the problem and he said my crown was the issue. He suggested I expand the size of the crown on top of it and used a 3D scanner to scan my tooth and make sure the new crown fit perfectly. One month later and my tooth is perfect and my gums are finally healing. I’d endorse Dr Pope for any procedure.

Experiencia negativa: Would give a zero if I could. I went here because of a workman’s comp claim and paid for some X-rays out of pocket and had an extremely difficult time getting my refund back. I would ask for them to call me back and they never would. Extremely unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: Went to this dentist about 2 years ago and they suggested doing composite veneers on my front teeth instead of fixing my cavities just to sucker money out of a 17 year old. I did the composite veneers and they have been breaking down ever since they were out on. They broke once after only 2 weeks of having them on went and got it fixed back at pinecrest but it didn’t matter the veneers have been cracking, chipping, and ultimately coming off of my actual tooth since they were fixed I’m not even going to bother going back because they obviously don’t know how to repair them correctly.

Dropped my other dentist office after my second visit. SOLD! A+ care. My family and friends will be joining the Pinecrest family soon.

Experiencia fantástica: Some confusion on the ZocDoc appointment scheduling allowing me to book my first appointment at a time they were closed. After that it was very good service. In a chair within 15 minutes of arriving for my appointment. Offer comforts like water, pillow and blanket several times throughout. As a new patient they asked and allowed me to ask lots of question to familiarize ourselves with each other. While this may have been why the overall appointment took longer than they had estimated, it made me more confident that they were the right place to go. Treatment specialist was there for the consultation and was very clear and upfront about costs and payment options which I really liked.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in with an infected wisdom tooth and was seen asap. All of the staff was super friendly, helpful, kind, and patient with my issue. They treated me same day and helped explain payments to me. I am so glad to have found them, it is worth the hour drive from Ogden!

Experiencia negativa: I hoped I would be happy with Pinecrest Dental, but I have been sorely disappointed. Dental cleanings are more than 3x what I have paid at other providers, I was told I HAD to have certain pictures taken of my teeth, then billed for them (and turns out insurance doesn't cover that because it's not a preventative measure or actual dental treatment), and then had to pay for the entire visit up front even though I had provided my dental insurance information. I have now been leaving voicemails and text messages for Crystal with no response even though my insurance shows they covered and have paid out on the majority of my visit charges. It has been nearly 3 months since my office visit and at this point my next step will be to dispute the charge with my credit card company since Pinecrest has been paid twice on my visit now and they will not call me back. As a weird aside, the staff was incredibly awkward in my interactions with them, and nearly felt like I was being recruited for a cult.

Experiencia negativa: I was really excited to join Pinecrest but my visit and the last phone calls I’ve made were disappointing. I was told from a client of 4-5 years that Pinecrest offers payment plans. Day of my appointment I was told I needed to pay near $5000 up front. I asked the finance lady, Crystalynn, if Pinecrest offers payment plans and she said, “no, but you can put 50% down then we can do payment plans.” Then she tells me that she over charged me $138 since I already paid $29 for a consultation (on the website and was told). She said the funds would be returned day of. I know banks hold funds so when I contacted my bank about the refund they said they have no activity of it. I called Pinecrest earlier this week about my next appointment. I was on the phone with Crystalynn and told her I do not have the funds for my next appointment if it’s going to be $2500-$5000. Then she says that Pinecrest do offer payment plans and she was supposed to send me a link with more information about it but I never received an email... I literally left my first appointment crying because I thought I couldn’t make up the money for my next appointment when this whole time there were payment plans? Now there’s no activity of my refund with my insurance nor my bank. There are some really nice people here and the dentist I had was really nice and comforting. l should’ve left my first appointment with excitement that I’m finally getting my tooth fixed but no I left disappointed and with tears because this is the second time I’ve been lied to at a dental place.

Experiencia negativa: Things have changed so much since we first started coming here in oct of 2022! Expect to pay up front for any service you receive they won’t communicate that with you when booking an appointment! I brought my 4 year old here for just a clean up and they ended up doing some X-rays on him when I didn’t ask for them! Then the financial aid lady comes and talks to me and tells me I have to pay almost $400 upfront and they will send it out to my insurance to see how much I will be covered for and my insurance will reimburse me the money back?? I’ve never heard of such a thing I didn’t have the money to pay up front she was very rude after I told her I didn’t have the money telling me I had to pay something cause she can’t trust me to never come back and pay for what I owe. I would not recommend this place to anyone they seem to take advantage of people!

I went in today to get new overlays on two teeth that were used as part of a bridge that failed. Dr. Williams had to battle with some sensitivity on a tooth but the outcome was successful. The pain has subsided a great deal. It is the friendliest dental office on the planet.

Last time I went there for a routine maintenance, which is supposed to be covered by my insurance, I was charged almost $400. They said that I should get it back from my insurance. That never happened. It’s been 6 months since that. Won’t be going back. That’s also why we had stopped going there prior. Because of their sole interest in money.

Experiencia negativa: I had previously submitted a 5-star review. But now? Zero starts, do not recommend. Let me tell you why. I waited over 2 weeks for a price package. Explained I would not go into debt so needed to know up front the cost. Nothing. They have my phone number and e-mail address, but they choose to ignore me. Talk about unreliable! I even called them, left a message because nobody answered the phone, stated that I MUST HAVE that information before we proceed, nothing. I had already paid them $308 - wanna know what I got for that? A cleaning and X-rays - and then they just ghosted me. I don't know about you, but I need my physicians to be reliable, trustworthy and ethical. I do not feel they are at all.

Up till thus month I had waited since last year of October 2022 to this appointment because they said it would be cheaper and smooth. Well I got charged and paid for the full service and waited until now got a call saying they had to change my appointment that I waited for a year for and got rescheduled 5 times and they changed my doctor without my knowledge I mean I had no clue what was going on. They Texted me an appointment notification, so I go there no doctor in so I had to rescheduled again. Never again. I will not be coming back. After tomorrow's appointment. I am done with this place .

I was seen in December for a basic cleaning and while in office they told me my out of pocket would be almost $200, after asking for details she said she accidentally got me mixed up with another patient and I was charged $68. Still crazy but okay. Fast forward to today I get a voicemail requesting I make an appointment but my phone only rang once from a blocked number before going to vm. Two minutes later another call does the same thing and this message says call immediately to pay a balance! Now they are saying my exam was almost $500 and it must be paid by the end of the week. This is literally what I have insurance for. But I am supposed to read the fine print? And they bill by the tooth? The bill is an absolute mess and designed to be confusing. Nowhere else have I ever seen this. And tell me why they are sending me socks, brownies and inviting me to dinners. They obviously have my address so why wait 4 months to even tell me about a balance that all of a sudden needs paid immediately. What a joke

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Pinecrest Dental to get my TMJ checked out. After the examination Dr. Tyler Williams offered a simple disposable mouth guard to see if the tightness and discomfort of my jaw calmed down. The simple mouth guard helped, so we went ahead and ordered a fitted mouth guard, which I wear almost every night and my TMJ doesn't bother me as much! This has been a GREAT experience because my TMJ was getting worse and previous dentists I've been to didn't offer any solutions to my TMJ. Thank you, Dr. Williams!

Other doc aside from Dr Williams can be pretty rough with your mouth. If you pick this location, be prepared to wait. Hope this helps!

Experiencia negativa: I have insurance with my employer yet this practice billing department tried to convince me otherwise and sell me on their membership ... $60 to 70 a month plus cost share for services of which my employer insurance already covers. They were quoting me almost $3000 for fillings and cleaning that my employer covers. Make sure you know what you have as far as coverage before going here because they will straight up lie to you, and say that you don't have insurance even though I did!

Experiencia negativa: Dr Williams and staff are will trick u by "being nice and welcoming" when in reality they just want your money! I've had so many issues with the work I had done here. I had read a review from someone else that had the same issue as me before I started going but the good reviews fooled me! I blindly trusted them. When I told Dr. Williams that the work was done badly and was causing me excruciating pain, he straight up refused to fix the problem. Also the prices here are way higher than surrounding places in the area. I wouldn't recommend them. Do your research and go else where! Not worth the hassle you will go through to work with them.

Billing is a nightmare at this office. if you have insurance it is really hard to get it paid out. The office didnt know how to communicate with my insurance and did not follow up with me . It took multiple phone calls over the course of 3-4 months to get my account in order. 2. when i ordered my mouth guard they forgot to put the order in to the company that made the mouth guard. they gave me an appointment to come pick it up. when i got to the office they told me they forgot to order it. i was really annoyed because i took time off work for something that could have been avoided with some simple communication. 3. I came back to get my mouth guard fitted properly and for a teeth cleaning. I did not have them take another x-ray on my mouth because i was planning on this being my last visit due to past issues. The dentist informed me during my appointment that i had a major cavity that needed to be filled immediately to prevent a root canal. This was from my x-ray from 6 months ago! How was such a pressing issue not caught when i had work done 6 months ago!? Now they want to charge me $325 to fix it. I am now going to a different dentist office. stay away.

Experiencia fantástica: While I may not be a patient of Dr. Williams (although I would be if I didn’t live in Illinois), I am an avid reader of the blogs and newsletters that he produces on the website and I do know that he and his team are very knowledgeable about the most up to date practices in dental care and that they also care about informing others as well! The content that his team puts together is extremely educational and uses a beneficial life lesson as an example, as well as great information about why your dental health can affect other aspects of your overall health and how you can take better care of your smile! Not all the content is dental-related either, I have read an article by Dr. Williams about book recommendations that encourage personal growth and success! Just by reading the content that they have created, you can tell the Dr. Williams and his team care about each patient that walks through the door, as well as each website visitor, and they do their best to make sure you get the attention and quality care that you deserve! Experiencia negativa: I probably should have expressed more how deeply disturbed I was at the time but now is fine I guess. I just got home.. it is 4:40 pm. I contacted Pinecrest dental by phone a little before 1:00 p.m after zocdoc gave me a video appointment and I needed to cancel cause that wasn't what I wanted. While I was canceling the man on the phone asked me what the problem was I told him about my daughter's tooth pain. I told them that I used premier access medicaid on the phone and they said to come down asap for a squeeze in. I get to west jordan from downtown by about 2:15p.m I start filling out paperwork and in the beginning of that the dentist Tyler Williams had asked me how I heard about them. I told him I googled dentists that took premier access medicaid and that's how I found him. After a brief conversation about if I'd ever been to his office before he left me to finish filling out my paperwork. Fast forward to about 2 hours later we finally get back to his office he looks at her tooth and something on the screen and says we can either extract it or root canal it. And I discussed it with him a little bit. And then he says..... after I had been waiting an hour that he doesn't accept premier access medicaid but I can pay out of pocket or with another insurance provider. He also said that zocdoc has referred people to them before saying they take medicaid but they don't. I was in such shock I couldn't say much. But I did say I wish you would have told me that before. And he was just like "yeah". Sounded like a "welp". And continued to say zoc doc referred me incorrectly but failed to take responsibility for the fact that I was told to drive all the way down there after I told them what insurance I had, they had me fill out all the information including my daughters social security number and really had me wait an hour to tell me they didn't accept my Medicaid. The worst part was that in the beginning of me filling out the application the dentist asked me specifically how I heard about them... I told him I googled dentists that take premier access medicaid and he really didn't stop me right there. He really had me fill out all the paperwork and wait all that time with my daughter to tell us that they don't accept Medicaid. And didn't seem to mind that he wasted time that was not his. Times have been crazy but that was outrageous. And then referred me to another dentist who couldn't see me that day which makes sense cause it was the end of the day at that point. I shouldn't have even told the dentist who referred me cause if they get a cut for referring people that is the most trifling way of doing it. I hope they don't do that to another person. It was a 20-25 minute drive each way for my afternoon to be wasted. I am disappointed in that and I didnt get to express it cause that careless "yeah" the dentist gave me let me know I wouldn't get any justice there. So here I am leaving a review. I hope this helps someone. I am sure they don't care to rectify this..how could they? Are they gonna give me gas money? What about my time? Anyways. Very weird experience at the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: It's amazing what a good dentist can do for self esteem. I’ve had bonding done that i loved and Now I’m in 6 month fast braces I also had a root canal and I was amazed that I felt no pain in the process. Dr Williams has a steady hand and a keen eye for everything TEETH!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Tyler Williams is the worst dentist ever! I’ve had bad dentists before but he is by far the worst one. Paid a lot of money for the work he did on my teeth and when he was finished, I was in a lot of pain! I had to go to a different dentist to fix the VERY bad job that was done! It’s like paying twice the money for something that should have been done right the first time! I definitely do not recommend him for any dental work!

Experiencia negativa: Dr. Williams is the man and his hygienists are awesome. Good people who definitely know their stuff and they're super helpful when explaining/addressing concerns and needs. However, the front desk's customer service is terrible. Seemed like they looked down at me and when explaining prices, they were super condescending. Also not very professional when I tried to reschedule an appointment, with the response "Okay well why don't you just call us when your schedule isn't so busy" while laughing. They're the first thing you have to deal with upon entering the office, first impressions matter. I will definitely never go back.

Today was my second day back and they treated me/remembered me as if I was family. (Do you guys takes notes about your clients?) Awesome place. I would definitely recommend to anybody. The personable caring staff was great and conscientious of every concern I had! They got me in immediately due to my severe pain and that was very important to me considering how unpleasant my jaw had become so quickly! Highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: there is nothing bad I can say about pine crest and their staff. It was a fine experience. I went to get a chipped tooth fixed today and even though they had an emergency patient in, they still made it work to get me in and out in a timely manner. I’ll definitely go back to pine crest. My tooth looks like nothing had happened to it. They did a great job.

Experiencia negativa: I had my appointment and got fitted for the bleach trays. For the past few months, they have been promising to send them to me. 4x I was promised "They will go out today" Since that last call it has now been 4 weeks. Still nothing. I tried to call today and I was hung up on twice. Each time they just said, "Hello?" I had to ask if it was Pinecrest. I thought $50 for bleach trays... WOW. That is the reason I bought this particular Groupon. I could have gotten a $25 cleaning and exam. Now I know it was too good to be true. Unprofessional! They have been lying to me over and over again. I am so frustrated. I have gave them months to fix this. How much more do I have to do just to get what I paid for? Now I just want my money back. It is really too bad because when I was actually in the office they were very nice.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to a different Dentists & most of the Doctors were rude & judgey! So far, I love this place, I was nervous but everyone makes me feel so comfortable. Dr. William did a great job, I’d say he has a hand of a Dentist, most dentist I went to has heavy hands I don’t know the term is but not this Dr. his hands are so light & gentle when doing the work and always lets you know what his doing next and what exactly his doing, so you can actually brace yourself lol. So I recommend going here nowhere else!

Experiencia negativa: I came to Pinecrest because it was close to my work. That was a mistake. I’ve had issues with the same crown 3 times now having to be redone. Dr. Williams supposedly fixed it. Yet 2 months later it popped out right where the partial implant was built up. The first time I came back the crown was covered but the new buildup wasn’t so I had to pay 200 something. Then they tried to do the same thing this last time and I told them I should not have to pay for what was not done right from the beginning. Having to take now almost 12 hrs for one crown of time off work to be charged for something that should last more then 2 months. They ended up not charge for the build up but I shouldn’t have had to argue to get them to change their mind. But it was now a new dr. Third ones the charm so far.

Experiencia fantástica: Update on my initial review: I was contacted by Dr Williams who had learned about my frustration and apologized about it. He explained to me some of the reasons why the retainer was not a perfect fit and reassured me that he would make sure I receive them promptly and offered to provide me with an extra set free of charge. I had been going to the Dental office for 10 months for at least twice a month and I want to say that other than my frustration about the retainers ( that Dr Williams was not aware of ), I had nothing to complain about. I had a great experience with the staff as a whole even with some of the newest addition to the team such as Lucas. Most of the team members knew me by name and like I said before, the Dentist and owner is great at his job and extremely passionate about oral health and care. If you are looking for a personable dentist that you can trust, Dr. Williams is the guy and if you ever encounter any issues with Pinecrest Dental, I recommend talking with him directly to sort things out.

Experiencia negativa: I just had to get a root canal because of the cruddy dental work done in this office. He told me I needed to replace a relatively new crown which I now doubt. He did almost none of the work. His hygienist did it instead. She was training another hygienist while she worked on me and she taught him how to cut corners like wiping off excess cement with a tissue instead of cleaning it off with a tool. This leaves your mouth full of cement stuck in your teeth. Then when she stuck on the temporary crown she used a massive amount of cement (and instructed her trainee to do the same) which made that traumatized tooth much taller than all the teeth around it. When I chewed for the next week the only tooth that could make contact with my upper teeth was the one with the temporary crown. I was practically screaming with pain by the end of the week. I called my brother who is a dentist on the other side of the country. He told me if I didn't get it fixed pronto it would kill the tooth and I'd have to get a root canal. I went back and the dentist looked in my mouth for a whole two seconds after cheerfully informing me I must feel like I'd been punched in the mouth all week. Then he handed me back over to the same girl WHO DID THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN. He did not check her work either time. I went home and called my old dentist immediately. He fixed it that same day. Pinecrest sent me constant mail for months and months offering me freebies if I'd come back. Even one PRE-PRINTED card saying, "We know not everything is right in our office. Come back!" He could offer to pay off my house and I still wouldn't go back. My tooth did indeed die. My root canal was completed today. I would not recommend this dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Pinecrest Dental is really great. I've only been there once but the whole team really makes an effort to get to know you, explain everything in a detailed way, and to encourage questions.They are caring and appear to go above and beyond most dental offices.

Experiencia fantástica: These people are so nice, it's ridiculous. Needed an emergency visit and while my regular dentist was closed they were more than willing to help us out on short notice. After 10+ years with my other dentist they've been switching owners and it hasn't fully been the same since. We're moving my whole family over to Dr Williams. Again, these people are ridiculously nice.
