After visiting another dental office, I was given a treatment plan that was quoted at over $10,000. I left feeling devastated and spent the rest of the day very upset. That evening, I started reading reviews for that office and realized they weren’t very good, so I decided to look for other options. That’s when I found Jordan Landing Smiles, and their excellent reviews encouraged me to schedule an appointment. From the moment I walked in, the office staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Kendra, the dental assistant, made me feel comfortable right away. She took the time to get to know me and made me feel truly valued as a patient. She was wonderful. David Powell also has an outstanding bedside manner. He was kind, reassuring, and even brought some humor to the appointment, which helped put me at ease. What I appreciated most was that they really listened to what was important to me about my smile and did not pressure me into unnecessary treatments. I highly recommend Jordan Landing Smiles. Just recently, I was in there for some dental work that was taking longer than expected and they stayed open almost two hours past closing time to accommodate me. Although I felt terrible, they made me feel warm and welcome. I love this place! Additionally, everything they do is high quality, Dr. Powell is a perfectionist. Angie at the front desk is lovely and always very helpful.

Alysa did a great job with my cleanings and Dr. Powell also did a great job with my fillings and the extraction of my 4 wisdom teeth. I have very minimal pain on both procedures and the recovery went well. Angie is really pleasant to talk to and she explains everything really good. Experiencia negativa: I wouldn’t wish this on anyone’s enemy. This was the worst experience yet. I had no insurance and they made me pay almost double of this other dentist I talked to. I came to them in pain and left in pain. They didn’t care about me in pain the day I left or the three days after, only the money. They never sent me a bill in the mail and sent me to collections. I’m almost 40 and this was the worst place I ever experienced. Also a Mormon so if your not one you will be treated as such.

Had a quick consultation, and he was able to get it done for me in such a timely and caring manner. I definitely will refer many family and friends to his office. Dr. Powell, the assistant, and the office manager were all so great and helpful! They go above and beyond to make sure you are doing okay and are comfortable. If I could give 10+ stars, I would!

He does not push to have extra work done, only what you want. The gals that assist him and work in the office are very sweet and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you need dental work done. They are not intimidating at all and very sensitive to your dental needs. Treating everyone with respect.

Experiencia negativa: Awful place to go. They recommended all my teeth get pulled. Offered 3 options, regular dentures for a few thousand dollars. Snap in dentures for 11 thousand out of pocket or 36k out of pocket for implants. I went with snap ins because they said I would have my owroof of my mouth. I was in constant pain, had to go in have liners put in. Would tell the assistant that the sores hurt and i couldn’t chew. Her reply was are you brushing them? Instead of helping me get some relief. 8 months of constant pain. Finally got my snap in for real teeth just to have them even more painful. I went in 5 times in 2 weeks, missed multiple hours and days of work. Just to have the snaps fail on my wedding day. My teeth were yellow against my white dress. Went and had him”fix” the snaps just to have him get them stuck in my mouth. The teeth rocked on the posts. I went to a different dentist and had to pay more money out of pocket to have the teeth fixed enough for me to talk and eat. Just to find out i needed 4 more implants and all new teeth so in total looking at another 8k out of pocket to get usable teeth. The dentures even have a tiny whole in them that i questioned the day i got them. They are poorly made and i am telling everyone i know to avoid this place. Update haven’t even had my teeth a year and there is a hole worn in the crack of a tooth. Haven’t been able to afford to get the correct work done because im still paying off these cursed teeth that are extremely poorly made

I like the organization and structure of a process that appears to be in place with patient care. That kind of culture gives me the impression that things won't fall through the cracks and that my experience will always predictable. I just wish you guys could have found me as a client earlier. Experiencia negativa: I wanted a cleaning and to talk about my broken tooth. I got massive xrays and a 2 hour consultation on wanting to take out my old metal fillings to replace them, getting crowns and/or implants for all of my missing teeth and a 10,000.00 estimate. I was overwhelmed and felt forced into this situation. The people were nice, but didn't ask what my main priority was. It felt like they saw dollar signs. So I went somewhere else. Plus since they used my insurance for all of those xrays I asked them to send the copies to my dentist and they said they would right away, but they didn't. I had to pay out of pocket for more xrays.

Experiencia fantástica: I called on Wednesday because I literally broke half of my back molar off and it was incredibly painful. Dr. Powell took one look and knew exactly what he needed to do. He gave me a temporary crown, and scheduled me for an appointment for today (Friday) and had custom crowns made to fit my teeth. It turned out that I needed two crowns and he got them both done in less than 2.5 hours. The crowns are made right there in the office and they are great! Dr. Powell and the assistant he had with him today were wonderful about checking on me during the procedure. I was a little nervous and they made sure to take that into account while working on my teeth. I’ve been looking for a dentist in Utah since I moved down here 5 years ago. I had a dentist in Idaho that I absolutely loved. I went to him for almost 17 years. I have found his professional doppelgänger and I am so happy about it. Dr. Powell’s care, commitment, and empathy made me feel so comfortable and safe. I won’t be going anywhere else. He and his team are magical. They are stuck with me for as long as I live in Utah. I made the mistake of going to a closer dentist when we moved to herriman, and they butchered some cavities that resulted in root canals. Dr. Powells office hasn’t missed once. he’s top notch, as well as his hygiene staff, assistants and office staff. highly recommend.
