Copper Ridge Dental - Dr Erik Cantwell

Experiencia fantástica: I have used Copper Ridge Dental for several years now. Dr. Cantwell and his staff are always so friendly, helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable. Dr. Erik Cantwell always provides me with all options possible for what I need done and allows me to make the best decision for myself at the time. Of course, he is honest and will tell you what solution he feels is the best, but he never forces me into doing something that I can't do. They are all very respectful of your feelings and will do whatever they can to make you comfortable during exams and procedures with as minimal pain as possible. They also try to provide you with an appointment to be seen as quickly their schedule will allow. My recent visit was an emergency and they were able to get me in immediately. If Dr. Cantwell feels that you need an oral surgeon, he will refer you out to one of the best, Dr. Price, but again, they give you information for other oral surgeons too so that you can make your own decision. I have referred family members to Copper Ridge Dental and they all really like it here and they are very happy with the outcome. Dr. Cantwell is an expert at what he does. I am greatful that I have a place to go to that I can trust and depend on to help me to be able to eat without pain and to keep my smile. Thank you to everyone there.

Experiencia fantástica: Love Dr. Cantwell! He doesn’t push unnecessary removal of old silver fillings if they aren’t causing problems, unlike some other dentists. He uses the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” philosophy to save his patients funds. He and his staff are so personable. I had an old crown that needed to be replaced and he called me himself the following day to check on me and see how my tooth was feeling. I appreciated the personal touch. If you are looking for a good dentist I highly recommend Dr. Cantwell at Copper Ridge.

Experiencia positiva: I have been going to this dentist for years; Dr. Cantwell is super nice and the staff have always been friendly. The atmosphere alone has always been wonderful. I'm starting to be concerned about the longevity of the treatments - I have had a bridge fall out multiple times, which has now gotten to a point where I need additional work done in order to fix it. I've also had crowns placed there that have fallen out, one while I was eating. My wife has had similar experiences with crowns falling out, which leads me to believe that it's not just an isolated incident. I quite frankly do not have the money to keep fixing the bridge and getting new crowns, which has kept me from doing any dental work.

Experiencia negativa: I came here for a filling I don’t have any pain or nothing but I constantly get food stuck in it ( I never had an issue with getting food stuck before). I came back to see if they could fix it and they told me I would need braces to fix it (and that if I don’t feel like the braces fixed anything to come back to them, I don’t want to spend thousands and years of discomfort to get it fix again for them to be wrong) …I went to other places to get a second opinion and to my surprise, a filling should basically feel the same to the way it use to feel before. They told me nothing is wrong with it but I’ve never had this problem and it felt like I couldn’t speak up about what I was feeling. It feels like I was lied to and I felt uncomfortable with the atmosphere, I’ve only came here twice but I doubt I should be feeling this way with a office.

She use great positive feedback, was very perceptive, and gentle with her. My client has some swallowing issues, and she was very conscientious! Dr. Cantwell didn't need to do much, because her teeth were fine, but he seemed really nice as well. I will likely start seeing them for my dental needs also.

Experiencia fantástica: I had some tooth sensitivity that hurt when I would eat cold stuff. Sometimes it hurt when I bit down on hard stuff. It was annoying and persistent so I spoke with Dr. Cantwell. He was very patient and listened to my story. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He told me the problem was with my nerve. We scheduled a follow up for a root canal. My experience was painless, smooth, and took little time. He put me at ease and I hardly noticed him working on my tooth. Him, the dental assistant and reception were very accommodating, friendly, and nice. The atmosphere felt homey. If there is ever a place that you need to get your teeth checked out or are in a place that need help AND want to be around ppl who really care about helping you out, Copper Ridge Dental is where you need to go. They will fix you right. I’m grateful for my experience with them, and I’m sure in not the only one.

Experiencia negativa: The Doctor and Assistants are amazing. But not so much the front desk people and the ones who manage appointments. They sent out interactive messages like “reply C” to confirm appointments. So wasn’t going to make it this appointment, what a neat feature I thought! so I didn’t text C to confirm. Later I was told charged $50 late fee because not confirming was considered as confirming anyway. Pretty wild to send out 1 way messages with no way to support cancellation that disguised as 2 way messages. I will take you small claims court to fight this ill advised business practice if necessary

I told some of their staff at my last visit that it’s awesome to be able to go to a dentist’s office with so many amazing people. Plus, when you leave, they give you a dentist-approved goodie bag (new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss). Doctor’s offices should adopt that policy. I love going to Copper Ridge. The people are friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the cost of service is reasonable. Dr. Cantwell is an awesome dentist who doesn’t recommend what’s not necessary. Experiencia fantástica: The left side of my face began aching and it seemed pinpointed on my 2nd back molar. Dr. K ordered a quick x-ray (no cavity) then he did a tooth check by tapping on the teeth. It turned out that it's my TMJ on that side. We're watching the tooth, and if it becomes unbearable I'll return earlier than my Oct appointment. It's nice to have a dentist that watches your mouth, and performs, affordable, preventative-maintenance. And as always, the staff at Copper Ridge is awesome-nice, and very good at the jobs they've been hired to do; along with the services they offer!
