I’ve been dealing with the problem for decades, and I am confident that because of his expertise, it will finally be resolved, tooth intact. The procedure was painless and faster than I expected. Experiencia fantástica: I had developed a toothache in an upper molar that had been bugging me on/off for a couple years, but I could tell that this round was a little different. I went and saw my gp and we decided that due to the fact that I was going on an out of the country trip next week that it was in my best interest to have the issue addressed. Being a recently retired dentist, I knew this was the smart route, but as with most other practitioners I wasn’t excited to have the work done. It didn’t make any clinical sense to prolong the inevitable, and like clockwork the tooth flared up later that day. The folks at Redwood Endo were able to get me in the next day with Dr. Pogue. I must say that I was that I was duly impressed from the onset. Dr. Pogue was very thorough, explained his findings and diagnoses, Tx recommendation, and prognosis. He and his staff made sure I was comfortable both mentally and physically. Being a fellow doc, I would much rather be the dentist as opposed to the patient, but we all end up in the chair eventually. Dr. Pogue did an exemplary job clinically from the inhalation sedation to settle my nerves to the delivery of the local anesthesia, and the smooth flow of the endodontic procedures necessary. The Tx was done in an hour, and I didn’t feel a thing. Dr. Pogue exhibited excellent clinical acumen, was very friendly, and answered all my questions. It was a good thing I had the root canal completed as he noted that part of my pulp tissue had started to die and that in 48-72 hours it would have blown up, and turned my memorial weekend into a medical emergency. I can not give a higher recommendation for Dr. Pogue and the staff at Redwood Endodontics, and I know a lot of specialists from my own years of practice. I was given top notch care in a comfortable and friendly environment. As a doc who’s the patient, you can’t ask for more than that! I tip my hat for a job well done.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an excellent experience with Dr. Kaur and her entire team at Park City Endodontics! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and reassuring. The doctor took the time to clearly explain the diagnosis and the root canal procedure, with Imaging, which helped put me at ease. The procedure itself was surprisingly comfortable and efficient. The endodontist was extremely skilled and gentle, and she made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I really appreciated how attentive they were to any discomfort “Left hand = pain, right hand = suction” and how carefully they explained what to expect during recovery. The office was clean, modern, and very well run. Scheduling was easy, and I was seen promptly. Most importantly, the treatment has almost completely resolved my tooth pain, and the recovery was smooth. Next stage, crown. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs endodontic care. Their expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach made a potentially stressful experience much easier

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Dr. Pogue by my dentist, Dr. Smith at White Pines Dental for a root canal. Having a root canal is necessary and not something we want to need. I was though very pleased with how Dr, Pogue did mine. I had no pain, not even heat during my procedure. He numbed me completely. Dr. Pogue was fast and thorough. He checked to make sure he got all of the root as this was a molar. His x-ray could see decay under a crown, and it was extensive. All the office staff were kind and helpful. My daughter went to him months after me and was equally impressed. They are all extremely experienced. I will definitely go back if/when needed.

I would definitely recommend her to everyone. She knows what she's doing and I walked out stress free! Side note... I forgot and put lipstick on that morning. After the procedure, some had wiped on to my chin. Dr. Kaur pointed it out and even got me a mirror so I could see to wipe it off. Not to mention, there was no bs when it came to the cost. The cost actually ended up being a lot less than I thought it would be and there were no hidden charges or fees. Experiencia fantástica: I had two teeth with previous root canals that I was being referred to an endodontist for. Thankfully I checked the reviews first because there were some terrible experiences there! I came across Redwood Endodontics and they had great reviews so I made my appointment and now leaving my good review! Every person I talked to at this office was so kind! Dr Howard explained in detail all of my options and made sure I understood everything before moving forward. He even had the periodontist from upstairs come look at my gums on a complete different tooth because my dentist has never talked to me about my receding gums! They gave me recommendations on that as well as a prescription toothpaste to help with my sensitive teeth. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work and they made sure I was very comfortable during the whole procedure and gave clear aftercare instructions. 100 percent recommend this office to anyone needing an endodontist!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Howard did a root canal on me last week on a difficult tooth. I used to use the phrase “I’d rather have a root canal than (insert awful thing here)”. I can’t use that phrase anymore because that was the easiest root canal I’ve been through. My own dentist refers them out to Redwood Endodontics and he’s been their patient too. Can’t recommend them enough! So awesome!

Experiencia negativa: Pls read all! My dad got referred here & did not have the best experience, he went in for a root canal. The initial appointment wasn’t too bad, they did everything (we) thought was okay, but not even 2 days later the same tooth starting hurting, called back, they scheduled him back and then sent him home saying nothing was wrong. My dad kept saying his tooth was really bothering him for the next 3 weeks, couldn’t even eat anything but soft foods, as he’s eating eggs one day it chips a chunk of his tooth, then we called back here, scheduled him in AGAIN, and they took X-rays, I think he said they told him they overfilled it & thats why it chipped even while eating soft foods? Went back to his regular dentist to find out they’re complaining about him and the dentist at the endodontics place told him they couldn’t refund or discount any of the money, in his words he said “you think my work is free?”. In my opinion is crazy, because money isn’t given out for free, my dad works for his money like anybody else, having to pay full price for a job so badly done, rude dentists, and they didn’t want to fix it afterwards either, they just kept sending him home saying nothing was wrong!! UPDATE: After posting this review they called me, did not answer because they already had called my dad just to tell him to take down the review (Friday) on Monday he received another call & so did I, it was them still telling us to remove the review. Honestly feels like they are harassing us, the lady on the phone said since they “had an agreement” if we don’t take down the review they will be charging my dad his last payment of $400 something, if he did make me take down the review they could still offer that discount, my dad stood his ground. Then they went on here & replied saying the language barrier whatsoever (I speak fluent English ) & then said they could offer a full refund, AFTER they called us many times telling us if we don’t take the review down they will be charging him. Makes you think they only do it to look good when people write bad reviews, but will continue to harass you over the phone where nobody can see!

Experiencia fantástica: The best place to get an endo, I had a bad experience at another clinic where they couldn't do the treatment because they made me feel too much pain. Then I went to Reedwood endodontics and the experience was perfect. I was super nervous because I didn't want to feel pain anymore and they made sure I didn't feel even a little bit of pain and this was literal. The procedure was perfect and painless. I am more than satisfied and I recommend it to anyone.

I opted for their sedation through Elite Anesthesia, and I can barely remember opening my mouth for the procedure to start, and then they woke me up. I don’t remember anything from during the procedure. As a person with dental anxiety, this was a huge help.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband was referred for an abscess but Dr Pogue actually found the next tooth was also infected He did multiple X-rays and explained all the details of what was wrong and was able to do both root canals the same day. He was very careful and very thorough all in less than 90 minutes. He also did multiple X-rays before he put in the temporary filings so he was sure all the affected areas were taken care off. The entire procedure was almost pain free. I typically hate to get shots in my mouth, but somehow he gave them without any discomfort. Dr Pogue was really friendly as was EVERYONE else in the office. Experiencia fantástica: I had a root canal on Friday and I was in so much pain and wrecked with anxiety that I was physically in tears at the appointment and felt so embarrassed. The procedure itself was a breeze like a regular cavity filling, and I was worried I would have pain afterwards, and I had absolutely ZERO pain after the numbing wore off! It was like immediate relief! Dr. Howard was patient and understanding even with all my waterworks, if I have to have another root canal I will definitely be coming back!

I was super impressed about how he explained the procedure and my options, including showing me the x-rays and the problem I was having, including finding another problem with another tooth. Then after the post operation he showed me the work he had done for my root canal and getting to the lateral roots that was the main problem with my tooth. Experiencia fantástica: Went in for evaluation of suspected cracked tooth and treatment options. Wound up being able to save the tooth and Pogue was even able to get the root canal done right then! For past two weeks was in so much misery that I jumped at the chance to treat it. No pain at all. You go to specialists for a reason - they do good work and know what they’re doing. And in this case the convenience couldn’t be beat! Worth every penny!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a tooth that had been bothering me for a while and I procrastinated getting a root canal done, which my dentist recommended would be the next step. When the tooth kept hurting I finally started making calls. Every other office I called couldn't get me in for a few weeks. I called Redwood Endodontics and they got me in within just a couple of days, which was good because otherwise I probably would have talked myself out of getting a root canal! I just finished getting my root canal done by Dr. Pogue and it was a great experience (as great as a root canal can be, that is). Dr. Pogue was very thorough and explained the process as it progressed, then went over the post op x-rays with me. He and his staff were very friendly and accommodating. Luckily, my insurance covered half the cost, and my portion wasn't as much as I expected. Thanks Dr. Pogue and staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Howard and staff were great. His team was extremely friendly. They were able to go through the cost breakdown with me, and Dr. Howard explained everything, including the waiver for the dental surgery. My wife worked for a dentist for 10+ years and I could tell Dr. Howard is extremely thorough at his job. Happy I was referred over to his office and grateful I was in such great hands for the dental surgery I needed.

Experiencia positiva: They were very nice, and it was not to bad on the pain. My only thing is even with my insurance it cost over 300.00 which was fine for me, but I have family that couldn't of paid that on the spot. They get your insurance information ahead of time so they should make you aware approximately what you will pay so you decide if you can still keep the appointment.

The procedure(root canal) as well as billing and insurance was explained in clear terms. Dr Pogue was friendly and professional. He made sure I was comfortable and explained as he proceeded. Experiencia negativa: I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially if you have complex teeth and roots like mine. Last year they did a root canal on a molar, and afterwards it was still giving me just as much pain as before. They looked at it again and insisted that they didn't see any issues, so I got a second opinion from a different endodontist. On a CT scan they found a third canal that had been missed. The original doctor at Redwood reworked it without charge to get the missed canal, but acted rather offended and instead of apologizing tried to give me a belligerent rationalization about how complex canals are. It doesn't end there, unfortunately. They also performed a root canal on a different molar 3 years ago. That tooth was giving me terrible pain again lately, so I had the other endodontist rework it yesterday. They found not one, but two additional canals that had been missed. I don't like to leave negative reviews and I'm willing to accept that mistakes occasionally happen, but this is inexcusable. Redwood Endotonics' less-than-thorough work has caused me a lot of pain and expense that I could have been spared if I had avoided them, which I will be doing from now on.
