Orthodontic Experts Algonquin

Experiencia fantástica: amazing, great doctor!

Experiencia negativa: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Orthodontic Experts. I originally sought treatment to close a small gap between my front teeth. Before treatment, I did not have bite problems, TMJ pain, or chronic headaches. After treatment, my bite was noticeably altered. I began experiencing severe jaw pain, temple pain, frequent headaches, and difficulty opening my mouth. These symptoms have significantly affected my daily life, including my ability to care for my children and carry out normal daily activities. I also developed constant difficulty breathing through my left nostril, and my nose cracks or clicks every time I yawn. I cannot bite down comfortably without triggering a headache. When I brought these concerns to the office, I felt they were not taken seriously. I reported these problems as soon as they began, yet I spent months trying to get answers and repeatedly had to follow up for updates. I was promised return calls and decisions that often never came. The lack of communication and urgency while I was experiencing significant pain was incredibly frustrating. Instead of correcting the issues that arose during my treatment, I was told I would need an additional 12–18 months of orthodontic treatment at an additional cost of $3,600, even though I returned to the office immediately after my symptoms began. I do not believe it is reasonable to ask a patient to pay more to address problems that developed during the original course of treatment. I trusted Orthodontic Experts with my dental care and expected my concerns to be addressed promptly and professionally. Instead, I was left with ongoing pain, an altered bite, months of uncertainty, and a great deal of physical, emotional, and financial stress. I encourage anyone considering treatment to ask detailed questions about treatment goals, potential bite changes, and how patient concerns are handled if complications arise. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Orthodontic Experts due to the outcome of my treatment and the lack of timely communication and support when I sought help. I sincerely hope Orthodontic Experts takes greater responsibility for patients who experience complications and improves the way post-treatment concerns are handled. No patient should have to spend months/years in pain while waiting for answers.

Experiencia fantástica: Great service for dental care

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome! Zahra is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this place! I recommend it to anyone, which I have. Today we had Jada, and she was awesome, she explained everything she was doing, and even explained what the Dr. said to her about my daughters braces and expander. My daughter was very comfortable with Jada, and she was so happy when we left. Thank you to Orthodontic Experts!!

Experiencia fantástica: People all friendly and nice and they are very good with my son they even fix his braces right away when something happens

Experiencia fantástica: The girl in the front Denise is super nice and helpful! Always answers questions with good energy and tries her best to help you understand!

Experiencia negativa: Be prepared to wait. They always seem to be either overbooked or understaffed

Experiencia fantástica: Zahra is a wonder and is delightful!! My 16yo son was really struggling with wires causing pain and bleeding. She took the time to talk with him, redid the wire so it was curved at his tooth instead of poking, and left him both pain free AND smiling!! Thank you, Zahra !!!

Experiencia fantástica: Good attendance and very kind people

Experiencia fantástica: It’s Good

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing service ! Everyone’s so nice!

Experiencia fantástica: Really good, everyone is really nice.

Experiencia fantástica: Great staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome customer service and great treatment plans. :)

Experiencia fantástica: Very satisfied with this location

Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had such a great experience at Orthodontic Experts in Algonquin! The entire team is amazing! everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and professional. They always make my daughter feel comfortable and cared for, which means a lot as a parent. The office is clean, organized, and runs very efficiently..I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent orthodontic care!

Experiencia fantástica: Appointment was quick and easy. My son’s halfway to getting his braces off and his teeth and looking awesome!

Experiencia fantástica: Very understanding and careful with their patients! Danny was amazing and so sweet!

Experiencia fantástica: Dani was the Assistant working on my daughter’s braces, she was absolutely amazing. She was kind, gentle and informed us every step of the process. My daughter did not complain once.

Experiencia positiva: My biggest issue is their “declined credit card fee” it’s a junk fee they add on. Not like it’s a returned check fee. I get those. You could simply forget to unlock your card after freezing it and get charged this fee. Whatever though. Treatment and services for my teens braces have been good though.

Experiencia fantástica: staff is friendly & answered all the questions we had.

Experiencia fantástica: Such a great office, got my braces on today and from the front desk to the end of my process every staff member was so kind and helpful. Alexandra answered all of my questions, Diana made sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable with all my after care needs, and Dr Weber was great letting me know how every step would go. Highly recommend Orthodontic Experts for all your needs or questions. Very helpful kind and knowledgeable staff in Algonquin.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very happy with their services. Everyone is very nice kind and professional.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good job , because everyone is nice and helpful .

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was amazing and I got a new color today, light blue

Experiencia fantástica: My friend recommended Orthodontist Expert, so I visited them for a consultation regarding my daughter's braces. I was highly impressed by their professionalism—they explained the process and costs thoroughly. After obtaining other estimates, I ultimately returned to Orthodontist Expert to proceed with the braces.

Experiencia fantástica: Great results! Always quick, kind, and understanding.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s the best place to get braces,I have around 7 months here and it’s been great, every time I come I leave super happy they are super nice up in front also in the back!!! Best place

Experiencia fantástica: My experience is great, everyone super nice every single time I come I leave super happy

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is very nice and the treatment is really good

Experiencia fantástica: My little sister goes here for braces and she likes how it’s been going well and they are patient workers

Experiencia negativa: Terrible service and treatment to customers. Always over booked and make u wait hours between appointments. Super slow business when help needed with treatment. Don’t recommend

Experiencia negativa: Not the greatest service. I called them twice after my appointment to provide them with my insurance information and requested a call back with update on pricing after running eligibility. I still have NOT heard back from them. Getting a hold of someone right away is hard because they have a call center that answers to all calls and then they forward the message to them so there’s just no way you’ll get transferred or actually speak to someone that will be able to help you out right away.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good orthodontist office! Nice staff, and great insurance coverage options.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m really happy with the service so far. Great place

Experiencia fantástica: It was awesome doc was nice and careful and caring

Experiencia negativa: Stay away!! Once they get your money it’s downhill from there! Every visit there is a different Dr and when your child loses a bracket (days after their maintenance appointment) and you schedule an appointment to get it fixed they just cut the wire and tell you you have to wait 9 weeks until your next appointment to get the bracket fixed. Horrible customer service and patient care. Please take your money and oral health somewhere they take it seriously!

Experiencia negativa: Poor service. Terrible experience. Always someone different in my child's mouth. I would never recommend them to even my worst enemy

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing and friendly staff! Highly recommend to work with Carrie. Great work educating on braces. Overall an amazing experience.

Experiencia negativa: Took my autistic child there for braces. The experience did not work out. Found another Orthodontist willing to do Invisalign and all is well now.

Experiencia positiva: Highly recommend the assistants and doctors. The dentists and assistants truly care about the patients and want the best treatment for them. Carrie explained the treatment plan and cost in full & made sure we had no questions at the end. The office is beautiful, bright, and clean. However, I am changing my review from a 5 star to a 3 star due to issues with one of the front desk girls.. HIPAA violation on her part giving me someone else's information off the printer, scheduling us on the wrong day and writing down the right day on the appt card, telling me my card was declined aloud 3 times before she said oh I need the CVV. An apology goes a long way to me, but she has never said sorry about any of the instances. Just unfortunate because we love the staff but this has been our only qualm.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful staff…very friendly

Experiencia fantástica: Good service, very clean and comfortable, staff is kind and respectful, overall an excellent visit.

Experiencia fantástica: We were attended by Ana M a very kind and friendly person who Explained the best way to treat.

Experiencia fantástica: Alexandra was awesome!! Answered all questions and was very informative about both my girls !

Experiencia fantástica: Today my daughter got her braces placed. I want to highlight that every one of our visits has been super comfortable and in a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was always right on time — we never had to wait long. I really appreciate the punctuality and the professionalism of the staff. Also, thank you for offering the option to pay in installments — it makes the treatment much more accessible. We’re excited to see the results! Thank you to the whole team!

Experiencia fantástica: My kiddo was terrified of the dentist let alone the possibility of getting braces. They decided that a filler was his best option and he actually responded really well. Not too sure if it’s the energy the staff or a combination but this visit was a WIN!

Experiencia fantástica: Love it! Personnel is great and friendly, doctor is smart and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend! Smooth process so far.

Experiencia fantástica: On time and thorough. Happy with the service.

Experiencia fantástica: Very welcoming as soon as u walk in the door staff are all smiling. Ana explained everything to us about the whole treatment highly recommended for anyone getting braces.

Experiencia fantástica: Having a great experience, we had our sons braces done here and now our daughter! Would highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly from front staff to the back. My daughter is loving her smile.

Experiencia fantástica: Great place. Fast and friendly

Experiencia fantástica: Place is amazing, Ana was such a big help! Definitely recommend. ☺️

Experiencia fantástica: Great office!! Friendly staff and doctor is so good with patients. Very accommodating!

Experiencia fantástica: Starting My Daughter’s Treatment Today, Very Please With All The Information and Explanation Ana M. Gave us.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter started her treatment yesterday. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We are very happy so far! My daughter is so excited to start her journey to having a beautiful smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Shanya R is so patient and nice with my nine-year-old son. He has had brackets and an expander put on so far and everything looks great. She gave us a thorough explanation of how to operate the expander. We have had great experiences with her.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience at my initial visit, very kind and welcoming staff

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very friendly and efficient! Explained the process in full detail. They have an amazing reward program that encourages their patients to keep up with their oral hygiene. I love this place!

Experiencia fantástica: They got good service would recommend to anyone looking to get braces.

Experiencia fantástica: In the 2 years I had my braces on and I would go it was always amazing, the atmosphere is amazing the employees are extremely nice and friendly and they seem to really enjoy what they do. My favorite employee by far was Alexandra since she was always nice and upfront about everything and would always receive me with a smile.

Experiencia negativa: Please please please read all the negative comments. I know their rating seems good but a those that had something negative to say are very accurate! I read the good reviews and the bad reviews and as a first time potential patient I can say the negatives are what you need to focus on. I had an appointment Dec 11th 2024 and when I got there early people were already waiting in the parking lot for them to open. Come 9am (the time they open and my appointment) the waiting room was nearly full and I was not called until 9:35am. When I got back there you can tell they are overbooked and all the techs are tending to the patients. By the time k was finished the doctor came in at the very end just to tell me the time frame she recommends and that’s it. I had three questions so in all of I’m being generous she was in there about 5 mins then she was gone. I ended up going with a different orthodontist for my ceramic braces and they cover up to two years after the braces come off for $2300 total package I got. One coworkers went to where I did and my other one that also lives in Algonquin will go as well to take her son once I told her not to book this place. Hopefully this honest review helps someone :)

Experiencia fantástica: This place is great Jessica B. Was very nice and kind

Experiencia negativa: Some of there employees don’t know what they are doing and kept hurting my mouth. They also kept having to go get help. Then after I finished paying for the braces, my teeth weren’t fixed yet so they said they would make me pay $250 dollars per visit until they were done. They also sprung this on me with no warning. It’s just not run very well.

Experiencia negativa: I have had nothing but problems over the last year with my braces. I have a crown that requires a special bracket. Unfortunately, they do not carry the specific fitting for it, nor do they actually order it when I have been told it has been. This is a reoccurring issue! I have called and told they will follow up. They never do. You have to route through a call center where people are never helpful. Overall, my experience has been less than lacking luster. It is very unfortunate because the dr herself is very sweet. If you're looking for braces, I would look elsewhere, and if you do choose these guys, I hope your experience is better than mine.

Experiencia fantástica: Orthodontic Experts provides exceptional care with a friendly, professional staff that makes every visit comfortable. The office is modern and equipped with the latest technology, ensuring efficient and effective treatments. The team takes the time to explain each step, making sure you're informed and at ease throughout the process. Overall, it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for top-notch orthodontic care.

Experiencia positiva: They do amazing work and are reasonable! The appointments are quick and the staff is great!

Experiencia fantástica: The orthodontist here is so great! We love bringing our kids to the Algonquin location. The staff is very professional as well.

Experiencia fantástica: my experiences in this place are always the best they do a great and fast job I recommend to get your braces here

Experiencia negativa: Everytime you want to call the office you have to spend 20 minutes on the phone with their call center in india, even if it is normal business hours.

Experiencia fantástica: Diana was the dentist assistant that helped me in my visit. She was very nice and heard my concerns about my teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: Great service! Everyone is so kind and welcoming!

Experiencia fantástica: So far, lovely place. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean. Today my daughter started her 18 month braces journey.

Experiencia negativa: I have never hated an orthodontist office so much in my entire life. It’s basically just a bunch of people who barely know what they’re doing fooling around in your mouth. I don’t know how many times they have cut, damaged, or bruised my gums. If you have the option I would go nowhere near this place there are 100% better ortho’s to go to who will give you a much more pleasant experience. Half the time the people are rude or have you sitting there forever waiting in the chair cause they’re too busy talking about stuff not relating to work at all. I pray for anybody who plans on trusting these people with their teeth.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is very Friendly , great service! Diana O . Good job!!

Experiencia positiva: Orthodontic experts is a good place to go to if you live in Algonquin. They do have some areas to improve on but their staff is very polite. One negative is that they don't have lots of options for next visits.

Experiencia fantástica: They gave me my braces very good and I like them because there cool

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at Orthodontic Experts is very pleasant and professional especially Inetxy. Highly recommend them for all your ortho needs. My daughter will be coming here for braces when it’s time.

Experiencia fantástica: Love it here great service. I look forward to appointments.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is super friendly and great customer service

Experiencia fantástica: very well management and team , super nice and patient

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful experience with my 12 year old twins, they were super helpful explaining everything, helping us choose the right payment plans and making the boys feel comfortable during the process. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I am very happy they are very kind when arriving with my son they are very attentive thank you

Experiencia negativa: If I can help someone with their health, money, and time, I will. This location is fairly priced compared to their competitors, but it is not worth it. Each visit, you have a different Dr. Check in on you. Imagine treating something permanent in your body and having different doctors trade you off for every treatment. Would you be comfortable with that if you were treating a different part of your body? I was left uncertain about taking off aligners but was assured that the permanent retainers would fix it. When it didn't, 2 months later, I went to address my concerns and was told it would cost me $250 for a consultation to begin treatment again. They said that once treatment is over, you have to pay to be seen. Otherwise, I would not be able to see anyone. This was simply to point out that my teeth had not shifted because of the retainers. Be aware that you are not able to contact anyone after treatment is over without paying that amount. Other orthodontist offices will see you 2 years after removal to see if there are any changes that need to be fixed as your teeth adjust. My own dentist told me that I would need further treatment and consult with other orthodontists. Dentists get minimal, if any, study in the area of orthodontic treatment, and even he could see the issue.

Experiencia negativa: If I could, I wouldn't give this place any stars. The people at the desk aren't friendly at all. My daughter needed braces due to an impacted canine and straightening her teeth. She's had braces for over 2 years. The gaps in her teeth aren't closed and don't appear to have gotten closer together at all. Her canine is still stuck up in her gums, not coming down. And they ended up recommending removal of the braces for "the health of her teeth" and closing out her treatment plan. I argued closing her treatment plan because nothing got fixed, but I got nowhere. Iwas forced to sign a liability form in order for them to remove her braces. These people should be shut down. They got their money, and our insurance won't cover another round of orthodontic treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: The customer service is great. Thank you for making it affordable. The braces experiences is wonderful.

Experiencia negativa: Most unprofessional establishment I’ve ever stepped foot in. Everytime I go, I arrive on time for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, and I end up sitting there for over half an hour. While I’m getting my braces done, the staff is constantly messing up, or gets preoccupied with another patient. When I’m getting a long service done, they don’t care about my comfortability. I tell them the thing in my mouth is uncomfortable or ask to take a break, and I get denied every time. The clinic hours on the door say open until 5pm, but I tried going in to get a letter of when I will be getting my braces removed at 3pm, and the doors were locked. Tried calling them, and the lady had a very heavy accent I couldn’t understand. They say they will email me the letter I was looking for, but it’s been 2 weeks and nothing. The staff are all under the age of 20 it seems like, so they have no idea what is happening with orthodontics. The building is in the most confusing spot, and I can never find it. They only have 1 doctor who works there, and it seems like she’s only there half the time. And when she is there, she gets busy with other patients over me. 1/5 do not recommend anyone coming here.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff and doctor at Orthodontic experts are amazing. The doctor even called to check on me to make sure I am not reacting to the nickel in the wire. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Clean, quick…Gaby is very friendly. Use orthodontics experts for all my kids that need braces

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is always friendly and helpful. All thumbs up so far!
