Experiencia positiva: They were one of the few places that took my insurance. I constantly felt rushed to make decisions that we're going to be very important over my lifetime. I needed a lot of work done and I have to admit they did get everything they could out of my insurance. And I didn't have to pay much out of a pocket. So I really don't have much to complain about. Its just that the dentist was very rough when he worked on me. When he put in my final caps he refused to use any kind of local anesthetic, even though I requested it. He refused stating, I would not feel any pain. To be clear I did not feel much pain, but when his drill slipped and hit my gums, and when he rammed flosss between each tooth I wanted to scream and there was hot/cold discomfort as well. Just slow down its my mouth not small block chevy. I knew this would happen, which is why I asked for a local anesthetic. I am happy with the results. My teeth look great but he needs to work on his bedside manner. It's hard to find a dentist that takes 1199 so if you have 1199 hes probably your best bet. Just try to be a bit pushier than I was.

Experiencia negativa: I was considering switching to this dental office, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I scheduled a cleaning and even called the day before to confirm the appointment. At no point was I informed that the hygienist would be unavailable. After taking time off work, completing X-rays, and waiting for the dentist, I was told I would need to return on a different day for the cleaning. The next available appointment was months away, and I have not yet received confirmation for it. I will return to complete my cleaning, but based on this experience, I plan to continue seeing my regular dentist going forward. Better communication and scheduling would have made a significant difference.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist and hygienist are great but the office staff horrible! I called 3 days in a row just to see when my next appointment is. Each time I called they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, each time the lady at the desk said she was assisting patients in the office. Finally I decided to call and go down there to see for myself. I called and she puts me on hold, I go to the office while on hold and stand behind the outer door and watch. There were no patients in the office at all. just her and another coworker. I watch this lady have a 10 minute conversation with her coworker and I'm waiting on hold. She was just laughing and having a good old time. So I enter and just look at her. She realizes that I'm on hold looking right at her and she then grabs the phone and pretends that she's speaking to a patient. I told her don't grab the phone now and act like you doing something! I now know what she does. If you call after 4:00 she'll put you on hold until 5:00 when the answering service comes on. Someone needs to teach this lady basic economics,No patient's, No business. ‍♂️

Experiencia negativa: I called to see if my insurance was updated before I went in for a cleaning..kept me on hold for 40 min..I called back and they again kept me on hold for 25 min before I hung up again...long story short I called another dentist that took my insurance made an appt while I was on hold......there that wasn't so hard

The hygienist was very informative and caring. The dentist also was very gentle and informative. I felt very comfortable and look forward to returning to continue my treatment.

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient for about 2 years and have had constant problems. Most recently, today, I was scheduled for a 12pm cleaning and was not seen until 12:30 after asking the front desk for an update. The hygienist was lovely but when I asked how long to see the doctor she came back to confirm the doctor had actually left for the day with no notice to his patients. Upon checking out the front desk made no mention of the doctor leaving either and when I realized this they just asked to reschedule with no apology or explanation. This is after having an appointment in August 2025 canceled with no warning only to find out while checking in and when I was reschedule for later in the month at 8:30am I was again told during my appointment that the doctor wouldn't be in until 10 and was asked to wait as if it wasn't a week day. This is in addition to similar issues my husband has had. Unfortunately we kept going because the office is covered by our insurance by today was the last time, we will be finding a new practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Kaci and Freddy Vargas I'm thankful for their expertise in the dental field . I was feeling insecure about my appearance due to having missing teeth. I now have dentures and my self confidence is regained. I thank them and this office for their diligence.

Experiencia negativa: The dental hygienist was horrible. The worst I ever had, and I’m 62 years old. As I was in excruciating pain from his method, I told him to be more careful and gentle, but his response was, “You have to deal with it.” He was so rough that I almost choke on the water valve in my mouth -- as he was pressing very hard on my tongue during the cleaning procedure. My gums are so sore, I hope I can eat dinner tonight.

Experiencia positiva: had an appointment on the 22nd of feb, they canceled on me because of a system failure i guess.......im a new patient and im very disappointed with the lack of no communication. especially im a new patient thats in need of care! i call and left a message and no call back or email whats so ever!

Experiencia negativa: The doctors are good but everything else about this place is absolutely horrible. There is 5 people working at the front desk quite literally trained to lie to patients about availability and everything else. If you value your time and more importantly your health, do not ever go to this place. They lied to my face about the office being closed on a day that I can guarantee it was open on because other members of my family were having work done on that very same day. They will gaslight you and play dumb.

When the appointment date finally came up, they called to reschedule and told me they wouldn’t have availability until March. That means waiting even longer after already waiting months. This office is very unprofessional, and on top of that, they aggressively try to sell you extra services instead of focusing on basic care. Extremely frustrating experience

Experiencia negativa: I came in and the staff accidentally canceled my appointment. Then they restored it. It took 20 minutes. When I complained I was told I was passive aggressive. Very immature staff. The girl there Carla at front desk has attitude completely unfit for any medical office. Never saw anything like this before. They all got mad at me for complaining about her and they suddenly demanded that I pay in advance of the procedure. I did as they asked. But then I became nervous about being treated there and I asked for my money back . But they said they can’t refund. They said any refund had to be approved by corporate. But they didn’t give me a phone number to contact corporate. I ultimately agreed to have the procedure just to move on with my day as by that time it was an hour into the appointment. After the procedure the staff said they want to dismiss me as a patient because Carla felt offended. It was an alternate universe experience.

Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional staff. Left on hold for 6 minutes, so I called with a different phone while STILL on the line. Picks up immediately, and is rude. Mind you, this is after 6 months of waiting for them to hire another hygienist because they simply cannot retain them.

Experiencia negativa: I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this clinic. I initially came in pregnant and in pain from a dental abscess — which should be treated as an emergency. I was advised to get a deep cleaning as soon as possible. I left after that first appointment and later returned to meet the hygienist for the cleaning. That’s when things went completely wrong. The hygienist was rude and dismissive from the moment I sat down. When I mentioned that I’m pregnant, he seemed uncomfortable and told me he couldn’t do the cleaning because they were “too busy” — and then told me to go back to the front desk. At the front desk, I encountered more unprofessionalism. The receptionist handed me a blank clearance form that should have been filled out by the doctor, and when I tried to explain my situation — that I’m pregnant, in pain, and need timely treatment — she responded with a sarcastic, “All patients are waiting.” That kind of attitude and lack of compassion toward a pregnant patient in pain is completely unacceptable in any medical setting. The doctor was kind , but the behavior of the hygienist and front desk staff completely overshadowed that experience. Please take this feedback seriously — no patient should ever be made to feel dismissed, disrespected, or unsafe while seeking care.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appt online over a week in advance, I show up 15 min early, they tell me the online system doesn’t link to their location so they don’t receive online appts. They also couldn’t fit me in that day because hygienists aren’t in on Mondays. That’s a wrap on Great Expressions, good luck to anyone else.

Experiencia negativa: Our appointment was canceled due to absence of staff and we had to wait 2 or 3 months for the next visit. Also constant calling thru out the week trying to get an appt but no one will answer the calls, not even a o please call back later we are busy, its always that same recording press 1 or press 2 and have you leave a msg, even if you leave a msg they don't even call you back or get back to you a week later. This is not how a business suppose to operate. its not like the facility has the top of the line equipment's, their equipment are so outdated im speechless. Friendliness of the staff is one positive but I dont think its enough for me to bare with all the negatives.

Experiencia negativa: This is ridiculous! I just called the office to confirm my appointment for a cleaning since I didn’t receive the customary reminder/confirmation call. Maria, who answered the phone, said I don’t have an appointment despite my email confirmation. She told me they don’t book appointments online. Then Maria proceeded to tell me that she doesn’t have any appointments until next year because they only have one hygienist on staff now. What a way to run a business (into the ground)! Now, I need to look for a new dentist.

Experiencia negativa: Typical corporate dentistry that will try to overtreat and overcharge. Do yourself a favor and find a local, established dentist who runs their own shop. I went in for a routine cleaning and instead was told I needed a "deep cleaning", which was of course not covered by insurance and required lidocaine. I would then have to come back to have some crowns replaced, so that's visit #2. Only then would I be able to get the cleaning I originally asked for, requiring visit #3. When I finally got the cleaning, it was very brief and barely more than when I brush my own teeth. Extremely expensive and inconvenient process overall. When I finally found a local dentist, the cleaning they gave was so thorough, I knew I needed to write this review.

Experiencia negativa: I called every single day for a whole week to make an appointment. They never picked up the phone. Sometimes they answered, put me on hold, and never came back. Eventually, I decided to book through their website. I filled out a long questionnaire with all my information, and it said someone would call to confirm and verify my insurance. At the end of the day, they called and scheduled me for today at 2:30 PM. I went to the appointment because it was an emergency. When I arrived, a lady with a terrible attitude told me the doctor was at lunch and that I could wait until 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, the office was full of employees chatting among themselves in a very unprofessional way. Out of nowhere, another employee said I would have to wait until 4:00 PM because I wasn’t even supposed to see that doctor. All of this with an attitude like they were annoyed by a patient’s presence. The craziest part? Not a single patient in the office. I told them it was fine and walked out. Honestly, I’m glad they didn’t treat me—who knows what could happen in the hands of such irresponsible and unprofessional people. Advice: Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this place.

Dr. Katchi ( who was my dentist before I moved to another state) did a great job repairing my tooth and I was on my way to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Experiencia negativa: My experience with this office was brief but terrible. I made my appointment with Thalia 2 weeks prior she assured me their office took my insurance even told me the doctor specifically. I received a confirmation email and text. I arrived at my appointment and the ladies there Jesse and Carla informed me that they no longer take my insurance and that the woman who told me they do no longer works there. They never called me prior to my appointment a whole 2 weeks before. They just had the excuse that the woman that made the mistake was longer there. No accountability on their end, they were so rude! Didn't even apologize until after I walked away. When I called back to get their names they placed me on hold continously without a word. I had to keep calling back to get someone on the phone. If nothing else all these ladies are in serious need of customer service training. You're better off going anywhere else. Being treated with respect should be the bare minimum.

Experiencia negativa: This dental office over charge us for services although we had insurance. I called 4 times trying to collect my credit. On the 3 call I got a "ticket number". I called almost a month later to inquire about this "ticket number". The office manager said she sent a check. I've never received a check. She demanded me to apologize to her because she told me she sent the check and I said I didn't get it.

Experiencia fantástica: I only experienced a cleaning and examination. The hygienist is really good, and the receptionist I called ensured that I was covered by my insurance before the visit. I opted out of the treatment plan for now, because it is a huge out-of-pocket expense. I learned that implants are just like any other teeth. If you take care of them, they last, and if you don't, they won't last long. I do not want to rehearse what has already failed thrice.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a bit overwhelmed today before my appointment as it was my first time visiting this premises. I am super shy and very anxious. I parked on the street which had a meter parking. I was super stressed because of the time limit. I did not know there was parking available. This was my mistake! I was greated with a smile. Seen to in appropriate time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. After getting xrays of my teeth i was in panic mode because of my parking. They allowed me to leave the premises for a few minutes to put more time on my parking. I was so much more relaxed once i had done so. Once my examination was done i was told to make 3 separate appointments. By the time i got to the front desk to book my appointment the young lady in front desk already knew what i needed. She was so friendly and so helpful. Not only did she book my next appointment but set me up for a few visits. She was so pleasant. I wish i got her name. My dentist was also super kind. I left leaving a bit more confident.

He was friendly and kind to work with. However, he told me exactly what was wrong with my teeth and what I needed to do in order for my teeth to be okay. I thank him and asked him would my insurance cover me to have this procedure and he said he don’t know yet. Then I was told to inform my doctor about it. Overall, I had a good first time experience with this dentist office.

I was told prior to the work being done that my insurance would cover(they called the insurance) it so I had the work done and then was told my insurance did not cover the work I could have postponed it until my insurance coverage refilled . The staff did not notify me prior to having work done about out of pocket cost. This was not an inexpensive job. I am a widow living on pension. BEWARE OF FALSE INFORMATION!!!!!!

The staff is helpful and courteous. I was seen on given time. The hygienist (Adolfo) is wonderful, his hands are light like feathers!!!

Experiencia negativa: Paid many thousands of dollars to have my mom’s teeth fixed. A few months later, 2 of the teeth the dentist repaired fell out and the dentist is refusing to fix them unless we pay more money. When you didn’t do the job correctly the first time, the patient shouldn’t have to absorb the cost for the dentist to fix what he didn’t do right in the first place. Very unethical! In addition, the elevator at the facility is always broken and they expect an 82 year old woman to walk up a long flight of stairs. Also very inconsiderate. With there being hundreds of dentists in the near vicinity, find one who actually cares about their patients. This dental office definitely DOES NOT!!

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. The staff seemed more interested in gossiping than attending to patients. I waited over an hour from my appointment time to be seen, and once I was finally called in, I was left waiting for another 15 minutes without any update. Eventually, I had to leave. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Just find another place where you’re treated with respect.

Experiencia fantástica: This office is amazing. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted with a smile from everyone standing in the front. The 3 girls in the front are the sweetest lady. My grandson loves them. The hygienist was so nice and gentle. Overall a great experience!

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment for an evaluation in January, made a plan needed my tooth pulled, severe cavity in a back molar. The pain has been unbearable, had to wait for insurance approval which is a normal thing. Made appointment for February 7th...got text messages reminding me of appointment up to the day before. February 6. Go to appointment this morning at 8am...saff walks in and says " you have an appointment today? " I replied yes, then all of a sudden the desk clerk call me over with an attitude, asked my name, gave my name proceeds to tell me, oh we canceled ur appointment, we left u a message last week, the dentist moved and the dentist here doesn't accept ur insurance, if u want to see him he will have to do a new evaluation. I was extremely upset, I took the day off, lost a days pay, received 5 text messages verifying appointment up to day before, check all my voice mails no message as they had said they left. So now I'm back to square one, very unprofessional and a lack of patient care. I am in shock with a patient in pain for months gets treated this way. Never ever will I go or recommend this office. Kindness and empathy should have been their first regard to me as a patient. I work in the medical field and I am appalled at how a desk clerk, did not even say I'm sorry maybe we could try and set something else up, I stead I got, oh the dentist moved. The one that's here, doesn't talk ur insurance. That's it...really!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: This office has terrible policies in place that they do not let people know when making an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled and responded to the text message confirming my appointment but once I arrived I was told it had been canceled because I did not confirm verbally. Never once was I notified I needed to confirm verbally when I made the appt. I'm also confused as to why send out text messages to confirm the appointment if they were not going to uphold that as confirmation. When asked if I could speak to a manager there was not one on site. When asked if I could be provided with something in writing stating my appointment had been canceled I was told no they can't do that either. How was I suppose to know my appointment was canceled when responding to the text it sent me a confirmation. They really need to fix their system on how they confirm and cancel appointment as it is an inconvenience for people. I was also given the wrong number to file a complaint. When I called the number in the waiting area the receptionist began speaking in Spanish assuming I did not know any Spanish telling a colleague not to answer the phone because it was me calling due to them providing the wrong number on purpose. When I addressed this they began saying that is the correct number to corporate (knowing it's the number to the facility) and said they have no other number they could provide. I'm concered at the level discrimination / stereotyping the receptionist displayed today. I would not recommend going here.

Experiencia negativa: My appointment was at 9 am and they didn’t take me until 10:20am. I called to reschedule and no one picked up. This place is hard to get in the line and always running behind. I was supposed to have a cleaning and they had to reschedule. They always seem to have issues with my insurance. I had to call my insurance and this place both on the line to figure out the issue. Very disappointing.

Experiencia negativa: Have the worst experience doing my crown in this location, differently wouldn’t go back. Also when you call is either you have to wait very long time for someone to pick up the phone or they just hand out the phone , can’t reach anyone if it’s emergency.

Experiencia negativa: I just went today for a routine cleaning and I had the hygienist Adolfo he was suppose to do a cleaning but instead he had me with my mouth opened checking my teeth with pic and counting I asked him are we going to start the cleaning process and he told me that if I don’t like this I can ask for someone else all my life that I have went to a dentist I have never experienced this situation I will never be going there again!!!

Experiencia negativa: I had an appt scheduled for 2 root canals for about a month. When I arrived and was seated, I was told it would cost me around $3500. I was shocked and asked why this hadn’t been discussed with me previously. I was told they had tried to call me twice. I had received 2 messages from clinic to confirm my appointment (which I did not respond to since I had already confirmed via the text). I received no phone calls to discuss price and insurance coverage.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been going there for many years. The doctor has a very good hand. He treats me good and he is patient with me, he knows sometimes I am scared of the dentist. overall his work is very good. The hygienist who assists him is very good as well. He always holds my hand if i need it, unfortunately i squeeze it hard sometimes. He already knows my nerves sometimes.

Experiencia negativa: The receptionist Jesse was the only one who cared. The Dr. did nothing. Said he couldn’t fix my 2 bridges. One pinches my cheek makes it bleed. $1000. Can’t be used. My other one is loose. Couldn’t fix that either. It’s a disgrace. I also heard so many complaints sitting there. Horrible. Place

Experiencia positiva: Front desk registration needs to be more organized in scheduling. They are very confusing with not speaking to one another if the schedule is changed. They also don’t speak to the back staff. My appointment was changed without telling me. The care once you pass the front desk is fine

Experiencia fantástica: This was my experience at Great Expression Dental, it was great! I walked on Friday in urgent need of dental care, I explained to office mgr that I had 4 spinal fusion done after work related injury and had 5th thoracic spinal fusion scheduled in five weeks if there was anyway for her to schedule me in as soon as possible. She managed squeezed me in for following Monday. After dentist performed an examination we discussed not only my dental needs but my work related accident. He had compassion for me something you don’t see often today and told his office manager to get me in as soon as possible. She began calling some of their patients explaining my situation and asked them if they would be willing to change their appointments which they did. She then scheduled me for the very next day Tuesday to start my treatment it was long appointment due to work I needed. I came back in 2 days later on Friday they started at 9am and finished 5hrs later. It was tremendous amount of work and dentist doubled checked everything he did. I come back in 4weeks after I’ve healed to complete one procedure and I’m done. My surgery is being performed one week later. Oh, one more thing Dr. came in on his day off to keep me on schedule for my fusion surgery. All this for new patient. As far as the staff is concerned, they were all professional and very friendly.

Experiencia negativa: They don't deserve any stars, they are an office with horrible staff and they charge too much, they are always sending invoices to the house. And it doesn't bother you to miss an appointment because they charge you 35 dollars for every half hour. Stay Away!!!!!

I was having the hardest time finding a dentist that took my moms insurance Health First and they accept it here if they take Health First I’m sure they take every insurance in the planet. We love this place

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place a 0, I would gladly do so. Every time my son came, they had issues with the insurance, to find out he was right and office wasn't. To confirm my appointment, they called while I was at work, therefore I couldn't pick up. And when you show up, they said they needed a "verbal" agreement to confirm which is NOWHERE in writing agreement you sign when you first come, but are quick to charge you if you don't show. Lady in front said she gave my appointment to someone else, in less than 12 hours! Interesting, they never called me to tell me from May to September to tell me ONE client didn't verbally agree and had a sooner appointment available. First time I use google reviews to leave a bad review.. thanks Great? Expressions. Such a bad name for your office.

Experiencia negativa: There was a huge discrepancy between my insurance EOB and the treatment plan. I had to get up from the dentist chair and insist they pull up the EOB which showed my insurance had approved services I was being charged for. They made the changes and I proceeded with the service. Then during my treatment the dentist looked at my EOB which I asked for a copy of and said they made an error for the cost of a service that was not covered by my insurance. He wanted to charge me what the office charges the insurance company and asked me to sign a new treatment plan. When I went up front to speak with the office personnel she informed me that he was incorrect and they amended the treatment plan for the third time to reflect the contract amount which I knew was standard procedure as opposed to what the dentist said. My out of pocket started at $1755 and after insisting they reviewed my account and what was approved it went down to $400. They also tried to charge me for a higher priced crown which was never discussed with me. Since Nelson the previous office manager left the quality of service went with him. Someone needs to revamp the billing system and make sure that before someone comes in for a service that the treatment plan is reflective of what was approved by the insurance. That is a basic function of a medical billing system.

Experiencia fantástica: It was my first time here , and the staff was great and Dr. Kaci went over and beyond and answered all my questions . I am very self conscious about my teeth and honestly I want to get everything fixed and he made me feel comfortable and answered all my concerns, this experience was great. And I have gone to many other dentist offices . I highly recommend. Thank you for giving me hope on a better smile!

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment for 9:30. When I walked in they said I never confirmed my appointment and now someone else has my spot. Whoever the girl in the middle was very rude. It was their fault for having the wrong number because I made an appointment over the phone. I am never coming here again and do not recommend this place. It was their fault and they told me to take a seat an hour later after my appointment time and I still wasn’t called. Waste of my time and terrible service so rude and didn’t even talk professionally all because it was their fault.

Experiencia negativa: Made a appointment to get a simple procedure with a hygienist. Went there and waited for an hour and then was told I needed to make an appointment with the periodontist instead. Did that and waited a month and was called on the day of the appointment that I needed to actually make an appointment with the hygienist with no explanation. Office is terribly managed, wasted my time and energy.

Experiencia negativa: I was in for a root canal with Dr Kaci. I was super nervous because I had one done elsewhere and it was a really bad experience. Dr Kaci and his assistant made this experience a quick and painless one. They were super efficient and kind as well. 8/11 first time I came I had a good experience. I recommend that my little sister come here a year ago and they treated her disgusting. She has dental phobia and the two assistants were so nasty and belittling. The one that had gotten a nose job and had the two black eyes was laughing at my sister with the other male Hispanic assistant as she was getting X-rays done. They were judging her saying “look at that a mess” in Spanish thinking that she wouldn’t understand. Do better. People have fear of the dentist and when they muster up the courage to finally address and take care of their teeth you’ll be judged for it. DONT COME HERE.

Experiencia negativa: 1. Hard to call in. Got hung up multiple times. 2. My appointment was canceled without notification. I called in to confirm an appointment then got to know it was cancelled a week ago. 3. The hygienist was very unprofessional. She gave me dirty look and treated me for two minutes.

Experiencia positiva: The staffs very helpful with exception to the dental hygienist. I must say when it comes to insurance and available services, it can get difficult but my plan covers what most don’t so I can’t pass a one sided judgement. The care, when most needed, trumps anything negative. The doctor and her assistants are beyond great. I was made to feel like family.
