Experiencia fantástica: The office is beautiful, with great décor and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and excellent with children my three year old’s second visit was a very positive experience. The dentist provides a quick, helpful review at the end. My only small concern is the toy area. The toys need more frequent cleaning maybe A weekly deep clean and regular wiping would help reduce the risk of children contracting viruses, especially since many put their hands in their mouths during visits. Highly recommend this office it is excellent.

My children look forward to going to the dentist every single time. There should be a 10 star rating because that is what this pace deserves!

Experiencia negativa: Ridiculously overpriced! You can get the same or better quality care and service for much less. They cancelled an appointment on me, the day of, with absolutely NO notification! I took time out of my day to bring my son to the appointment, only to be told it was cancelled. Find a different dentist.

Experiencia negativa: I went back and forth about writing this review because our first visit was great. My daughter needed sealants and SDF treatment that wasn't covered by insurance. The quote we received was very expensive, and her previous dentist quoted us literally half the price. I informed the office that I would have that work completed there due to the cost, but I still wanted Summerfield to remain my daughter's regular dentist since they are closer and covered by our insurance. The office told me that was fine and scheduled her six-month checkup. At her follow-up appointment, Dr. Vali Mohammadi appeared upset to learn the work had been done elsewhere. Apparently none of his staff informed him. He told me to have the other dental office call him, but when I offered to get them on the phone immediately, he said he didn't have time. When I asked when they should call, he said they could make an appointment through the front desk. He then told me he doesn't work behind other dentists because of liability issues and suggested that I either stay with the other office or find another dentist. When I asked if he was telling me he no longer wanted my daughter as a patient, he said no, but repeatedly complained about how much work it would be for him to take new X-rays and records. The most frustrating part was that he assumed I planned to continue taking my daughter elsewhere for future treatment, which I never said. The only reason I went elsewhere this one time was because the cost was half the price, and his office had already approved that decision. The conversation became uncomfortable enough that he asked to continue speaking at the front desk, but after I walked out there, he simply walked past me, got into his car, and left. If this office has concerns about patients receiving treatment elsewhere, that should be communicated upfront. Families sometimes have to make financial decisions, and they should not feel uncomfortable or judged for doing so.

Experiencia fantástica: Been coming to this office for around 13 years. That alone says it all. My children have never left here feeling any type of pain/disconfort. Dr. Vali wasn't even in our dental plan, but we honestly wouldn't go anywhere else. Thankfully he's in network now with our plan. Either way this is the only office we trust and love.

Dr. Moriah has worked miracles with my daughters’ teeth- using braces to correct an issue other orthodontists told us would require invasive surgery and years of orthodontic work. Highly, highly recommend this incredible orthodontic and dentistry practice for all things teeth! We LOVE Dr. Valli, Nina, Noura, and the entire team. They make the dentistry process fun and exciting for kids (seriously, where were they when I was a kid?!) The team takes the time to answer all questions and concerns, and reviews all procedures and cleanings in great detail. I cannot recommend them enough. We feel so fortunate to have found Summerfield Pediatric Dentistry and look forward to continuing visits for many years to come!

Experiencia negativa: Today we had a 9 am appointment for my 7 year old daughter with a serious cavity treatment with crown to be place. Now they have given us the invoice for the amount of 1156 dollars which my insurance cover most of the treatment, they got wrong information about the insurance coverage and send me this invoice to pay, I called my insurance and put him in speaker so the front desk lady will heard him what my plan cover and what doesn’t and she “fix” the invoice. this took about 30 minutes, DENTIST DECIDED NOT TO TREAT MY CHILD, we felt discriminated, they did not did their job to making sure what was covered, and were rude saying they deal with insurance companies for over 10 years. We left very sad and my daughter was crying because she really like this place. I try to answer what you just wrote under this review and that’s why I’m extending this review. You never care about my child Health and you just worried about the money. Fact we don’t have a co payment,fact you just want to ripp off people,fact We find a better place already and don’t bother calling me again. And everything to wrote under this review is a lie.

Dr. Vali greeted me with a hug, told me everything was going to be fine, and that he would take care of her. Dr. Vali performed extensive work on my daughter and guided us every step of the way to save the tooth. He checked in on us consistently during the healing process. We continue to use Summerfield as our pediatric dentistry practice and feel very fortunate to have such an experienced, skilled and caring dentist. We’ve had great experiences with all of the dental staff here.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I’ve heard horror stories before about the dentist. The staff were all exceptionally hospitable but whenever I heard the dentist speaking to someone it was always in a very rude and condescending tone, he seems like the kind of person that can’t control their anger. I’m aware he’s probably the boss around here but no one should be talking to their staff and patients in such a demeaning way. This is incredibly concerning considering that this is also a pediatric office.

He’s a physician covered by emblem health and he charges out of pocket fees because he’s does not accept what they cover! When you are binded by a contract through the insurance company you are agreeing on a price for services not charge the xtra unpaid fee!! That is fraudulent !! Pablo and Sue have been amazing and this office doesn’t deserve amazing employees like them! They don’t deserve the abuse they receive from the Dr.!! Will never go back to this office I will contact my insurance to report him

My children have been twice in the past few weeks and everyone is maintaining the most amazing precautions. Experiencia fantástica: I was lucky to discover Dr. Vali when I moved to Scarsdale over a decade ago. Not only does he provide my children with amazing dental care, he is always available for questions and always makes my children feel special. Most importantly, he goes well beyond dental care and looks at his patients holistically. He noticed something seemed off with a recurring oral issue and asked to speak to our pediatrician, then a GI, and led us down the path that led to a chronic GI diagnosis. I am forever grateful to Dr. Vali for his deep concern for his patients and his dedication to the medical field. As an aside, the office is like a pop art museum! It’s worth going just for that :). I can’t say enough good things about the doctors, the amazing staff, the hygienists - Dr. Vali curated something truly spectacular!

They are extremely knowledgeable with wonderful “bedside” manners, and they stay up to date on technology and dental treatments. The front office team also works very hard to make sure you don’t have to go back and forth with the insurance companies; they do the lion’s share of the work. The office is a wonderland for kids decorated with pop art in fun colors and with plenty of toys for the little ones. My oldest (now 20) had a major fear of dentists after a painful experience when he was two. From the start, Dr. Vali and his staff were extremely patient with him and took his fears seriously. Those fears were soon allayed, and he’s had easy visits ever since. For that alone I will be forever grateful. It really is a wonderful practice.

Approximately 50% of the time, our appointments have been rescheduled, and it often takes them a month or even two to accommodate us again. While I understand that emergencies can arise, I would appreciate a bit more flexibility on their part, as everyone has busy schedules to manage.

Experiencia fantástica: We LOVE Summerfield Pediatric Dentistry. My husband always says “ I wish they were my dentist instead”. We have been coming here for the past 5 years and we are pleased with the service my kids receive. They always explain everything to my daughter since she always gets nervous. However, we recently went again and she finally sat down on the chair and let them check her out (no tears, no meltdown) she said “mommy I love my dentist they always give me a prize because I’m brave and they’re nice”. And we have now started bringing our son in now that he has teeth and we will be bringing both here for as long as we can.
