Experiencia fantástica: Another great visit to my dental office. I was in for my bi-annual check up and all went very well. I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, the friendliness of the dental hygienist, and the time she was willing to take to give a good explanation of what she was doing and what work might be necessary in future visits. Regarding my latest visit, I had a dental hygienist who was outstanding with the water cleaning procedure. I usually choke and gag through the whole process, but this hygienist was very attentive to draining excess water buildup and keeping it out of my throat. I don't breathe well through my nose (numerous breaks over time with one surgical repair) and that's probably why I have so much discomfort with excess water in my throat. She was flat out terrific! Overall a very impressive dental office with a top notch staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I first visited this clinic and Dr. Andersen in 2020. What started as a routine visit turned into addressing a long-standing issue and ultimately getting dental implants. Long story short, it was an excellent experience, and in many ways, a healing one. Due to a traumatic dental experience in childhood, I developed severe anxiety about visiting any dental office. On the day of procedure, I almost canceled the implant appointment we had scheduled months in advance. But Dr. Andersen and his entire team were incredibly patient, understanding, and compassionate. At one point, it honestly felt like a therapeutic session. Dr. Andersen took the time to explain everything in plain English, the step-by-step procedure, risks, pros and cons, medications, tools they would use, all of it. That transparency made a huge difference in easing my anxiety. At one point, Dr. Andersen looked me in the eyes and told me I didn’t have to do anything, that it was completely okay to go home. There was zero pressure, only genuine concern for the patient’s well-being. That moment meant more to me than I can describe. Fast forward, I had zero pain during the procedure. The next day, I only needed one dose of Advil. The healing process and the implant experience were smooth and successful. Dr. Andersen also referred me to an orthodontic office, where I had another amazing two-year experience. Five years later, I can confidently say I am extremely satisfied and now enjoy very good dental health. Even after moving and switching insurance, I chose to stay with this clinic and Dr. Andersen. That says everything. I truly appreciate their professionalism, dedication, and the positive, caring culture in the office. A special thank you to Jill, Patient Care Coordinator, she keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I got an implant front tooth, dr. Anderson and his team were awesome every visit. I never waited. The office is very clean and comfortable. State of the art equipment. I just went to my regular dentist, everyone there said what a great job they did. They couldn't tell it was an implant from the front. Thank you guys...update: 6 years later, I called for an appointment, I was given one for an exam another for a cleaning. I showed up for the exam was informed they combined them a few weeks later. The next appointment i was texted several times and confirmed. The night before my appointment i got a text to be there 1/2 hour early for paperwork. It took about 5min. Then I waited an additional 30 minutes past my appointment time,as two others show up and get right in. I wanted a couple implants, that takes several visits, can't even get in on time for an exam. Think I will use someone a lot closer.

Extensive dental work with Dr. Andersen has been intelligently discussed with both procedure expectations and post procedure care. My overall history with Dr. Andersen and Andersen Dental Center have earned the 5 stars. Unfortunately, for the first time, my next cleaning is scheduled for December because there are no openings in September (recommended 6 months), October or November. I am on a list for an earlier appointment if it becomes available. Keeping with their consistent excellent care of patients, I am sure there is an a.s.a.p. schedule resolution in process to insure that six month cleaning appointments will be back on track.

I really appreciate the way Dr. Andersen takes the time to explain what he is doing in real time while I'm in the chair in his treatment room. When I call during their normal office hours, I like that Jill at the front desk usually answers or occasionally another staff member will answer my call. It's nice to not reach an impersonal voice mail system all the time. Jill is very personable and proficient at her job. Experiencia fantástica: I've always been anxious about dental drilling and getting crowns. Dr. Andersen, and team, were the BEST! They kept me informed every step of the way and also kept checking on how I was doing. Dr. Andersen was so very gentle with the numbing injection that I hardly knew what was happening. My lips kept getting 'slicked up' with vasaline to keep them from drying out during the procedure. It's all in the details ... like the lips, sunglasses for the bright light, AND the details of fitting the crown. I've had great dentists in the past, but this office and Dr. Andersen rate 15*'s on a scale of 10.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone in the office is extremely pleasant and they have all the new, fancy tools (and know how to use them). I got a crown and a filling in one sitting. I really don't like needles but I didn't even feel Dr. Andersen administer the anesthesia. The crown was made right there while I waited. Dr. Andersen and his assistant worked with me for quite a while to make sure everything was fitting just right. I can't recommend them enough.

Experiencia negativa: Not sure what happened to this business. I used to love coming here but over the years my family and I have moved on. My husband left due to over charging. I decided to find a new dentist when I couldn’t come in due to illness but didn’t give a two day (with weekend closures that really makes it three to four days) notice that I was sick…even though I only got sick in the morning of the appointment. So they charged me $50 and gave me some serious attitude about being sick and not knowing that ahead of time.

Experiencia negativa: EDIT from my formerly glowing review: I've been a patient here for seven years. Today I got sent home from work due to a very severe sickness two hours before my dentist appointment. I tried to call and reschedule my appointment and was told "We don't care if you are sick" and that they would charge me a cancelation fee because it was less than two days notice (because apparently I get to choose when I am sick and didn't give them enough notice). I have never been chastised for being sick from a doctors office before and will not be again. No plans to return.

Experiencia negativa: I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. They seem like they have too many clients, and they didn’t do a good job on filling my cavities. I went here around Summer of 2022 and had a few cavities filled. One of the cavities filled was too high, and I could feel the change my bite. I called to see when I could come in to have it fixed. I went back to have it sanded/ground down to proper height, and it took over an hour to get me to the back. This month, I decided to go to my fiancé’s dentist instead, and she says the same filling is already having to be replaced. I am having a couple other fillings replaced as well, and I wonder if it’s the other ones done by Dr. Andersen. I would go elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: This review relates to the hygienist Kelly who has been managing my oral hygiene for close to two years now. I've had no fewer than 8 hygienists over the past 40 years, and Kelly is absolutely top rank. Her oral assessment is the most thorough and particular I've ever had in my life; more thorough even than most of the dentists I've seen previously. Her skill set with instruments is expert, and I've never been in discomfort during or following a cleaning session. I'm especially thankful that she's a lot younger than me so I won't need to worry about finding a new hygienist for a long, long time.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t say enough good things about Andersen Dental. I feel cared for, and treated exceptionally. I had a weird response to Covid in June that left me with horrible bleeding gums for months. My hygienist was so thorough, identified the issue, and in days I was better. Dr A knew from my chart before he saw me that something big was amiss. No judgement (I’ve never had teeth issues) and I was in and out in an hour with appointments for my kids, who Jill, while on the phone, redirected the new assistant to their charts by first name. Hands down best care I’ve received. ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I have seen Dr. Andersen for a few years now and every single treatment/exam has been a wonderful experience. He has been so patient and kind every single time I needed to talk through my treatment plan or any other issues. He is very detail oriented and won’t send you off on your way until you are absolutely in love with the work that he has done. Every member of his staff has been so welcoming and professional. It is so great to feel like you are in such great hands every time you go to the dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: Our dentist sold his practice and moved away so it was time to find a new dentist. I always check reviews. The reviews did not steer me wrong. The initial appointment took awhile to schedule but when my wife broke a tooth while out of the country, Jill, at the front desk, immediately got her an appointment. Dr. Andersen and hygienists, Taylor and Kelly, were fantastic. The office has state of the art technology and my wife and I left the office knowing we had found the right replacement for our previous dentist.

From Jill at the front desk to Dr. Dane Andersen himself, everyone is very helpful in understanding the state of dental health and where I needed to go. They even checked on things afterwards when I had pain and took their lunch time to do so which I greatly appreciate. I cannot say enough positive about this experience. From the confident direct approach to understanding what I needed to the explanation of charges and insurance, all very helpful. The dental cleaning I received was virtually painless as well such wonderful helpful people! Keep up the great work!

Services received by all staff have always been above and beyond. I highly recommend if you want a clean, professional and friendly dentist office!

Experiencia fantástica: I neglected my teeth throughout my teens and early 20s, and now paying for it dearly in my 30s. I've seen a lot of dentists as I've moved around the country a lot, but never one like Dr. Andersen. His staff is engaging and thorough, and he genuinely cares about your comfort (which is always a big concern of mine!). Dr. Andersen is one of the best things about my move to Vancouver; very lucky to have found him!
