Experiencia negativa: After my braces came off, I developed TMJ symptoms that I had never dealt with before treatment, including headaches, jaw clicking, muscle tension, and needing to stick to a soft food diet. My bite felt off, my teeth would squeak together, and eating became uncomfortable, especially on one side. When I brought these concerns up, I felt like they were minimized. I was told to take ibuprofen and that I was likely chewing too roughly or just adjusting to new contact points. Over time, I started to feel judged and frustrating to deal with whenever I brought up ongoing problems. I also had trouble with my teeth shifting. Even with consistent retainer use, I would develop gaps easily. After retreatment and about a year of TMJ problems, I tried again to discuss my ongoing pain and bite discomfort. The suggestion I received was Botox every few months, which would have cost thousands of dollars, along with working on clenching/grinding. The frustrating part is that I had none of these jaw issues before braces. My teeth were also polished in an attempt to adjust my bite, but I am still unsure whether that helped or made things worse. My bite is still uncomfortable, I developed gaps again after returning to nighttime retainer wear, and I still cannot eat comfortably on one side. It has been honestly depressing to spend over $5,000 on something I hoped would improve my life, only to feel like it made my quality of life worse. I expected some discomfort with orthodontic treatment, but I did not expect long-term jaw pain, bite discomfort, food limitations, and feeling uncomfortable advocating for myself afterward. I eventually went to a medical doctor and was prescribed muscle relaxers to reduce strain on my jaw, which helped with the clicking and headaches and cost me about $2. I still deal with muscle spasms and bite discomfort, but I no longer feel comfortable bringing these concerns up at this office. At this point, I’ll be seeking help elsewhere. I wish my concerns had been taken more seriously, especially since these problems started after orthodontic treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a severe overbite so I came here to get it fixed. The employees were nice and were careful about everything and did things perfectly. Dr. Pritchard himself was also helpful and nice with the checkups and such. My overbite went away after around 2 years, a few months ahead of my previous initial schedule and now my teeth don't have an overbite. Would definitely take my kids here if they had overbites as well.

I had very little hope with what orthodontics could do for me as I had grown very insecure about my smile. Of the about 22 months of my treatment, Dr. Prichard and his staff not only provided excellent care and services, they were timely, thoughtful and genuinely cared about their patients concerns. I am nearly finished with my treatment and am having such incredible results. Pain went from consistent 6-8 to 0-1 rating. My teeth look just beautiful. Because of the reduction in stress and overall confidence I felt, it also boosted some health movement to make the whole body feel incredible. This is based on my experience as both a parent of multiple patients, and an adult patient myself. Dr. Pritchard is so pleasant to speak with, he listens carefully to patient and/or parent questions and concerns, then thoroughly addresses them. His knowledge, talent, and skills are evident in his results. He goes above and beyond in offering multiple pathways to achieve the patient's desired results. The support staff and technicians are friendly and helpful. They work hard to find solutions to any problems, whether they are physical discomfort, logistical, or financial. The patience and accommodating service these people demonstrate is beyond customer service. It's a little suspicious actually... like they genuinely enjoy their work and helping people (gasp!), a rare thing these days. It's obvious to me that this practice isn't just a team in words, but a team in spirit. I cannot recommend them enough.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown fall out of one of my bottom-front teeth that had been there since '97, leaving a visible gap in my smile. Since there wasn't much of the original tooth left, I couldn't get another crown. Dr. Pritchard and his team were able to move the other three incisors over to fill the gap. Since my bottom incisors were a crowded mess before, it turned out just right! With an added bonus of having the rest of my teeth straightened. Dr. Pritchard's knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm make you feel at ease and his team is gentle, skilled and always professional. They were also quite flexible and upfront about all costs involved. They don't sneak anything in. If you or a family member needs work done, look no further.

I highly recommend this team…they are friendly, professional, and have many tools and skills available to work on simple orthodontics or complex cases. Five of my six children have had orthodontics here, and the sixth will as well when he is ready for that step. One of my children had a very complicated orthodontic case with a few teeth in bizarre places; it’s taken a few surgeries with an oral surgeon and many phases of braces and appliances but we are now at a place where all the teeth are where they should be, and we were not pressured by Dr Pritchard to remove adult teeth which was the recommendation of the surgeon. Dr Pritchard coordinated the care with the surgeon and went to bat for us to build a plan to save the canine teeth which were in jeopardy. I really appreciate being able to talk through all options and risks in a treatment plan.

He has super friendly staff, you feel super welcome each visit. Their scheduling is so convenient -as is their location! And they're very on quick to get you seen if anything needs adjusted!
