I've waited to rate your services.......now that it's been almost two weeks since the visit, I feel I should rate. $12,000 estimate, and I wasn't fully informed about gum treatments. The staff was courteous, however, the woman whom examined me didn't introduce herself.....I don't know if she was even a dentist. No name tag, no introduction. Poor business practices. I have asked neighbors for a dental referral. I felt as though Aspen was like a County-run clinic.....the X-ray technician had to leave the room to find a proper bite thingy......that stuff should be restocked before the doors are opened, each morning. The examination room didn't have a DENTAL light.......just the overhead light. Really?? I'm surprised the woman examining my teeth didn't use a FLASHLIGHT on her keychain!! I had responded to someone's email, from Aspen......never heard back. On top of that, I had received an email from Aspen advertising about dental IMPLANTS!! Now that the emergency is over, I'm going to look elsewhere. Very disappointed. There's something about Aspen that rubbed me the wrong way...........ask your neighbors for a referral.....ask your gas station attendant or garbage pick-up guy........or...........

As for the check in process I was ignored for 7 minutes and finally a guy turned around to say someone would be right with me. It took about another 3 to 5 minutes for somebody to actually come up and acknowledge me there was no hey sorry for your weight or anything else. Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time visiting Aspen Dental. The dental assistant Medina was very kind and fun to talk to while helping me through the entire process of my exam. The hygienist Melissa was immediately high energy and welcoming when she came into the room and was very gentle while she was poking around in my mouth. Lastly, Dr. Lee was knowledgeable and comfortable to talk to while examining my teeth and the X-rays. Melissa and Dr. Lee were able to tell me what was going on, and how to resolve some issues and address other ones with a treatment plan. Experiencia fantástica: I neglected my teeth most of my adult life. I rarely had insurance and used drugs in my earlier years.I was ashamed of my teeth. I had trouble justifying the cost of dentures with my income. Then, my girlfriend asked me to look into getting some. Aspen Dental helped me with financing thru Credit Care. The care I received from Dr. Susana Lee, hygienist Melissa, and all the dental assistants including Nerma, lead dental assistant was top notch. I had oral surgery yesterday that went well. The dentures fit well with very.little soreness. Thank you Aspen Dental.

Experiencia fantástica: I am not a dentist fan. BUT the team at Aspen changed my opinion. Doctor Lee and Melissa were kind, understanding and efficient. My teeth were examined and the reason explained and taken care of within the week. I was not ignored when I came back in and had a minor set back. Melissa listened to my symptoms, called Doctor Lee over and they took into consideration my care. My dentist anxiety was not pushed aside and the Aspen team worked with me. Also my dental work was partially covered by insurance and Aspen set me up with an affordable plan. Thank you for your kindness and help!

Experiencia fantástica: We just had our 1st visit & are so impressed with the new patient process. We had complete X-rays, we were seen by the hygienist & had an exam with the dentist. Then we saw the treatment coordinator who explained the suggested treatment & patient cost. The staff is very thorough, professional, friendly & accommodating. They value & addressed our concerns & thoughts about dental care. We are extremely happy we chose this Aspen Dental office to be partners in our dental health. Update: I have now been with this Aspen Dental office for 3 years & am still just as happy with my dental care as I was on day one. Everyone there is helpful,friendly, professional, skilled & kind. The exams & cleanings are complete with "no stone unturned" & they are totally transparent about cost & treatment, no surprises. They have exceeded all my expectations which confirms my good fortune to have chosen this office for my dental care.

Experiencia negativa: The people all seemed really nice and polite but I was there because my face was all swollen and I have a broken tooth and needed antibiotics before they pull it and when I called on phone they said no problem and since I've only lived in woodland for a few months I haven't found a PCP and I told them that as well so my son takes me in only waited a few minutes and first thing they did was xrays and that took a few minutes but it was fine and I asked about antibiotics a few times because I just wanted the pain to go away, anyways so after xrays are done she takes me out to the lady to figure out a payment plan for false teeth, remember I came in there because I was in pain and needed antibiotics and I said so really you just want me to sign up for some payment plan and because I didn't I didn't get any antibiotics and when I left I asked about emergency and she told me don't forget stop by urgent care and maybe they will help you. I was so mad and I'm just wondering why they say their an emergency dentist? They didn't help me with a damn thing and that to me was very rude and I wouldn't send anyone there - to me that's just so messed up

Experiencia fantástica: Good experience. I was able to get a same day appointment for a filling that fell out, although there were some waiting periods once I arrived. Did not feel any pain, not even an injection into my gums. Was provided a blanket which was comforting physically and emotionally. Staff were pleasant and professional. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Susana, Amila, Keyla, Gabby and then my dental assistant were all very wonderful. They don't take state dental but they take my primary insurance. I'm so thankful I was able to work with them. I had a broken, infected tooth and was really stressed out. They were very patient and kind. And I didn't feel judged for having bad teeth. They just seemed to care about helping me. I wish I could see them for all my dental care. Anything that I have to pay out of pocket or that they can cover through my insurance, I will definitely be giving them a call!
Experiencia fantástica: My family and I are so very happy with Dr Thomas Mirchel’s work and all the care he has provided for us. I needed complex impacted wisdom teeth removed, my mother needed removal and implant procedures, and Dr. Mirchel along with his assistants Vasti and Brenda were absolutely amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better oral surgery team to trust with my care and that of my family’s.

Experiencia negativa: This clinic does not live by their mission or values. The phone recording even says "no surprises" "we care" "we want to provide affordable dental work". Blah blah blah My husband went to this clinic to get some work done and received a quote and agreed to the treatment. Our out of pocket was estimated at $2,081. After completing the "preliminary" work, including buying their electric toothbrush and some other products and paying about $1,200 out of pocket, he showed up to start the "real" work and was denied service at the desk in front of everyone. They claimed our HMO plan did not cover enough and unless we were willing to pay more out of pocket, they would not continue his treatment. That does not sound anything like what you claim on your website or telephone recordings.

Experiencia fantástica: Going to the dentist has always been a humiliating and uncomfortable experience. I have so much embarrassment due to the condition of my teeth. Bone loss, tooth loss, decay, dry mouth…etc. I went into Aspen dental (vancouver) today and was met with such kindness, no judgement and hope. It wasn’t a horrible experience. Dr Lee, Sam (dental assistant), Kris (hygienist) and Amila (operations manager) could not have been kinder. They were so professional but with empathy. I believed they really cared and were not just getting business, but rather interested in me getting the best care and doing everything they could do to help me get heathy and help keep my teeth from further damage. I appreciate the detail (although hard to hear) and the help in getting care credit to facilitate the costs of the work to be done. Kudos to Aspen Dental. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Came for emergency service due to painful teeth. Initial consult with the dentist gave me a treatment plan to replace the cap and made me wait over the weekend while in pain. I get to the appointment on Monday only to have a new dentist change my treatment plan and added extras. Went from a 4k bill to a 9k estimate. What’s worse was they couldn’t do the work until the end of the month. So I still have a toothache. And they won’t release my dental records for another 24 hours so I can see another dentist. Only excuse for the change in treatment plan was that the initial dentist that saw me was inexperienced. Feeling so frustrated while being in pain

Experiencia negativa: STAY AWAY - Scam alert -I went in for a routine cleaning, at least I thought I was. But instead they took x-rays then did a basic exam then told me I need fillings new caps, several teeth removed and replaced, that I need a "special cleaning" and have that done every three months. I also needed to prepay for someone that was going to come in and do 3d images of my teeth. I kept asking how much it was going to cost but they kept telling me I needed different things and the price jumped around from 200$ to 30,000$ with my insurance covering none of it. They wouldn't do any cleaning until I agreed to do all of their procedures. I was really upset and wasn't thinking when they had me try to sign up for care credit. When the person said "congratulations you qualify everything" that shocked me enough to make me stop. Too late as it my credit report. I left and called a few other people to get some kind of idea. In short, I managed to get another appointment at another dentist. I have no issues and these people are scamming big time STAY AWAY.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a dental emergency last minute. Randomly found Aspen Dental during my google search and gave them a call. Everyone I spoke to was very kind, professional, informative and transparent on costs. They were able to fit me in the same day and help me with costs and even gave me information on costs/breakdown for next steps. I really appreciated the staffs teamwork in accommodating me in last minute and still making sure I felt comfortable and supported while I was there. It started with a phone call with Amila who made my first appointment for a Free exam and X-rays due to the fact that I had no insurance. The exam was the most comprehensive I’ve ever had. From the many xrays of my entire mouth to the dentist-Dr. Neal Govani who not only explained my current dental situation, but showed me the xrays on a tv screen attached to the chair-Amazing! I needed partials so I could get my smile back. Before they could do that, Amila helped me with arranging financing. She was kind, patient and very helpful. When I got my partials and they were fitted and checked by Dr. Susana Lee I was given a mirror. When I saw my new smile I cried. By the way this Aspen Dental has an in house lab where a very skilled technician named Miguel made the partials. Also I must give credit to Kim who was assisting with all of this. Also, the office staff and the lady who took my xrays, as well as, the Hygienist were all fantastic. Overall, this was my best dental experience EVER!! Thanks to All.

Experiencia negativa: COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL…ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE TO GO!!! I originally scheduled a Saturday appointment, but was contacted because their Saturday Dentist does not do the service I needed. Rescheduled for the following Monday. I was 20 minutes early to do the paperwork. A half hour after it was my appointment time I asked when I was going to be seen. I was told they were running behind and couldn’t give me an estimated time as to when. While waiting I also heard other clients complaining about being charged $1,700.00 for their advertised $499.00 dentures (taking advantage of the elderly is just wrong) I should of left after seeing the dirty waiting area, but I was giving the benefit of the doubt. After waiting a little longer and watching the chaos I knew this place wasn’t for me and that , not only did they not value my time, that I took off work to be there ON TIME , but I knew I couldn’t trust their care.(I heard another person come in who was charged $3,000.00 for something another dentist had to fix/replace, so I canceled my appointment and left…. I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. … part of it was my fault for not reading all the reviews. I hope my review helps someone from not making a mistake!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been a patient here since 2014 and have always paid for my treatments, sometimes even upfront. Over the years I’ve had multiple procedures done and generally had no issues until recently. Right now, the only balance on my account is $150, which I am disputing with my insurance company because I believe they should cover it. Despite my long history as a loyal patient, the office will not even schedule me for an appointment without requiring payment first. I find that extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially given that I’ve always taken care of my bills. The only positive part of this practice is Dr. Lee — she is a skilled and caring dentist. Unfortunately, the office staff does not reflect the same level of professionalism. They seriously need improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was first rate from the receptionist check to finish! 4 hours later :) Like most I have a fear of dental anything! The dental assistant, Sam, that took my 18 x-rays, was so polite, caring, gentle and fast! The dental hygienist, Melissa, was also gentle as she was doing the cleaning. No pain, very attentive to my comfort and stress. I was so thankful she was able to fit me in to get my work started so I didn't have to wait. The hygienist was also very educational about new tools being used and teaching me how to use the water flosser and electric toothbrush they were sending make home with. The Dentist.. Dr. Susana Lee, I cannot possible explain how kind she was to me and her team. I'm not looking forward to having the work done on my aging teeth but I am looking forward to having the best experience someone like me can have in a dental office. I love the wrap around approach, a complete dental plan, an office of women supporting women and schedule flexibility.

Dr. Lee cares dearly about your comfort and concerns and even calls back during off hours for emergencies quickly if needed for advice. She made sure I was completely comfortable and numb before proceeding with my extraction. From something so small to something huge, to explaining the medication, Dr. Lee and her team are top notch in the industry.. Aspen dental is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Exceeds expectations! I thought the negative experiences I had through my previous dentist was my own fault. Like my standards were too high or something. After several very painful and generally uncomfortable procedures that took about 6 months to complete, I ended up with dentures that I didn't even use. They were painful, and when I talked to the dentist about them he would tell me that I had to just bare with it until my mouth adjusted to them over time. I ended up just giving up the idea that I'd ever have a mouth full of teeth again. My dad had his mouth repaired through Aspen. He had a positive enough experience to suggest that I try them too. I went through all the motions until I had a chance to discuss a plan of action with Dr. Lee. She explained to me right away where my previous dentist went wrong. He made faulty dentures, it wasn't actually my fault. We discussed a plan of action that really gave me hope that my mouth would be repaired at last. Then it started to hit me that the general air of compassion and competence in this place wasn't just surface level. As her assistant Sam helped me with brushing techniques, how to use products and the reasons why, I realized that this place is special. I have a lot of social anxiety, yet I was relaxed there, and I even look forward to my appointments. So in that light, I've gained an understanding of where that anxiety was coming from. Most people pretend to care about us because they want to sell us something, or they want us to play a role that feeds their ego. But here's where Aspen contrasts that way. They anticipated my concerns, even revealed concerns I didn't even know I had, made room for me to express any concerns, and responded to them all. They all so far have been outstanding at communicating procedures, and the science behind them. I mean, normally walking out of a dentist office after a cleaning, I felt like my teeth appeared clean, I could run my tongue along my teeth and they're nice and smooth. I walked out of Aspen after a deep clean with a revelation of new scientific methods, and true cleanliness, teeth cleaned inside and out, and bragging about the experience. If your reading this as a part of researching which dentist to go to, there is no need to look any further. Aspen is the right choice.

Experiencia negativa: Absolutely TERRIBLE dentist, if you go plan on waiting minimum 2 hours to be seen especially if it is your first appointment they do not care about you or if your appointment is scheduled for 2 expect to be seen by 4:30 I went for a cavity they “fixed” mind you no discomfort before going then they worked on it everything was okay for the first two days they I started feeling pain and discomfort when biting or things or eating hot/cold items I was concerned because I m ow after having a filling sure some soreness but not this pain I knew it was off. So I scheduled and emergency appointment with them and I go in they have me sit in the cold back room for an HOUR and by the time this doctor comes to see me she’s already very dismissive and unhelpful she proceeds to tell me it is normal and that when she had a filling pain lasted 6-1 year which I knew was straight BS if the work is done properly it should not be uncomfortable for that long. To top it all off SHE DIDNT EVEN CHECK OR LOOK INSIDE MY MOUTH she just told me to go on my way without even looking at what I came to that appointment for so I left still in pain and confused I then scheduled another appointment for another dentist for them to tell me I HAD A HOLE in the filling they had done and that is why I was feeling the pain so I am now spending more money because they didn’t fix it right the first time. I will never ever go hear or ever recommend stay away!!!! The doctor that worked on me was and Asian female I do not remember her name but I hope she doesn’t continue her practice like that Also my very first appointment where I had to wait over 2 hours there was already two groups infront of me that left walked right out because they had been waiting so long and not everyone has nothing to do all day they may have prior commitment. So I should’ve took it then that It was a bad place.. there is so much more wrong but I do not know how they’re even keep people coming back when they care so little about their patients I wish I could leave less then one star

Experiencia negativa: Predatory business practice. I wanted a cleaning, they did the regular X-rays, a hygienist measured my gums, and the doctor talked to me briefly but no one cleaned my teeth. I was led to a desk after sitting in a dentist chair alone for 30 minutes and was told the only way I would be able to get a cleaning done was if I agreed to periodontal treatment which would have cost me ~$600. The only payment plan option was to get a credit card offered through a third party since my insurance didn’t cover it. It felt scammy and strange so I walked out. This was a ridiculous waste of time. I’m going to my mom’s dentist out of pocket for $150 for a cleaning.

Experiencia negativa: Very nice people in the office. I had to verify my appointment a number of times; text, email, phone, online. When I arrived they were still a bit confused, but I went through the process again, explaining I wanted a couple of teeth repaired. After X-rays and examination I was turned over to someone to set up more appointments. No work to even do a temporary fix or mitigate the pain of a broken tooth. If you'd like a pleasant chat this is a nice place. But I received no actual dental work.

The first appointment I should have known, the staff member had no empathy she put the gunk in the lo it’s tray and told me if you feel like your choking go forward Like what!? She shoved that tray in my mouth and that gunk almost went down my throat. It was terrifying then I was made to feel like the worst person ever for speaking up. The root canal the dentist was odd I thought he actually kept swiping by my chest yes! I already knew I had the previous situation so at this point I’m just like I just need my teeth done so I internally held it but he didn’t need my chest area for anything but kept swiping hand by. I wonder who else had this experience there? Super creepy dude that was my root canal! I also got super sick after that appointment. She gave me an estimate and said that 2600 I got approved for with financing. She said this included all my services but she was dishonest. As we do I tooth for a chip fix one lower root canal and then crown and a cleaning. This place wants to say that was $2600! I have dental insurance there is no way! Please don’t go here if you want to be treated with care and actually feel heard. Bottom line the place is creepy and dishonest. Update: don’t let their response fool you they know how to make it right and we have already spoken. The response is to just save face at this point! Y’all didn’t do 2600 dollars worth of work EVER this company should be in jail for theft. I now have Hashimotos an auto immune disease out of nowhere my thyroid is done and I have growth in throat! Once I’m in a healthier place I’ll be looking into court filing if I don’t have my money back!y’all make me sick!

Experiencia negativa: They took my wisdom teeth and traumatized a good memory I wanted to have, they didn’t ask if I wanted to keep the teeth/ or anything I’ve been spiritual for a while and wisdom teeth carry a lot of energy. I was crying for a good day or 2 mind you I’m 21… and my neighbor gave me theirs bc they didn’t know what to do with them. My most recent appointment I was sitting in their comfy massage chair for 30 minutes, I saw clients walk in there after me and be treated before me. I was in 10 minutes early. When I checked back with the front desk baddie she asked if I had been seen already seen, I said no and even she was shocked, had somewhere to be and rescheduled

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great visit with Dr Lee my amazing dentist. and Dr Emilie trivleing Dr. Both are amazing doctors. staff are all out standing from my cleaning xrays office staff.always makes you feel like you're important and you matter. My root canal turned out Amazing.and Magill for his part in our dental work.
