I’ve been a patient for about five years and have regularly seen Angie on a quarterly basis. It was unfortunate to not get a heads up that I’d be seeing someone newly hired because she no longer worked there. I’ll miss Angie and her bubbly bedside manner! In addition, my husband has gotten last-minute dental work from Dr. Farmer with no issues. The office also sells MI Paste and Clinton 5000, prescription strength fluoride paste, which has been very helpful for sensitive teeth.

From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable and most importantly my son with special needs has never liked the dentist but Dr Farmer handled him with care and really took his time in helping him through his appointment. Experiencia fantástica: I was recommended to going here to Thurston Oaks Dental. I had an emergency situation with a molar. Face was swollen the pain at one time was so unbearable . I got in the same day in the morning. They made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I was so embarrassed to come in to a dentist., I just avoided them and for that my teeth had have been well in need of care . From the initial contact with the front desk I was greeted and explaining my situation from there she made me feel nothing to worry about and welcomed me to my new dentist now.. the assistant in the procedure made me feel more comfortable and told me I'm in great hands . Every one here is so nice and the best in making a guy feel comfortable and no need to feel embarrassed. The Dr was amazing and the whole thing was pretty much pain free slight uncomfortable with the numbing needle. Dr. Farmer was done with the tooth extraction before I knew it. I am very impressed with his work . Simply amazing experience here at Thurston Oaks Dental and I highly recommend this dentist for you Dental needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Experiencia fantástica: My partial denture couldn't be more comfortable! I forget it's even in my upper mouth, primarily on one side. Dr. Farmer and his staff get a ***** rating from me. Then add another star for how truly nice they all are. He has a high-tech scanner that made the partial very easy to fit - from day 1!! Also, they have always given me the cost of procedures before they are done. The best!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend any of the hygienist as I have trigeminal neuralgia (a very debilitating pain with the nerves to my teeth) and have a hard time having my teeth worked on. My cleaning was amazing (along with the stories that were shared) and was one of the best I have ever had. Dr. Farmer takes the time to get to know who you are and what your needs are - he listens to you as he is working so there is no pain - which I so much appreciated. The denture was done in Budapest, and I was very concerned when it got loose recently. I am so glad Dr. Farmer took care of the issue to a perfection! I can't express my gratitude enough to thank Dr. Farmer and Sharlene for their quality and timely help! I also want to mention that when I called the Clinique they scheduled me the next day! It is so rare these days to get promptly in, and this Clinique is in a stark contrast to others! I think it is a great Clinique!

I now receive compliments on my teeth. The hygienist Fred is fun to talk with, thorough and professional. During cleanings, he also measures my gum recessions to monitor changes, and offers useful advice about my dental care. Staff is consistently pleasant. I highly recommend Thurston Oaks Dental.

I found one place and didn't like them, then found Thurston Oaks Dental and like it here. It's a calm environment, the people here are helpful and polite, and the work seems to be good. p.s. they do incentivize reviews with a gift card, but they don't ask for 5 stars or something necessarily positive. Not a fan of that, but I would give them a positive review anyway.

Most important to me is that they listen when I talk. Experiencia fantástica: I came to Thurston Oaks Dental after a visit with another local dentist put me in the hospital. I had broken a main front tooth and was desperate to get it fixed. I was so embarrassed by my terrible front teeth, I all but refused to have my photo taken with my baby, I was depressed and just felt absolutely terrible about myself. Because of schedules and finances and just - life, I hadn't been able to get it fixed. By the grace of God I found Thurston Oaks, Dr. Farmer and his lovely staff. I had such bad anxiety, but they were able to compassionately and promptly fix my smile. It felt amazing to be heard, and work together on a solution. Rather than be sale pitched a $30k "Hollywood smile" and treated like just another of the 50 patients in the waiting room. I will forever return to Dr. Farmer, and recommend the practice to anyone. They handled the details up front, and exercised flexibility due to some medical issues, which are not normal practices but in my situation was necessary in the short term. There were issues with my insurance accepting Dr. Farmer as a preferred provider, but Holly & Andrea kept at it (without billing me, btw!) literally for months until the issue was resolved. And Trish, my hygienist, is wonderful! So gentle and takes such great care - and by now is a friend. Almost makes me look forward to going to the dentist! My wife goes here also. And we'll be transitioning our son from his pediatric dentist to here. Highly recommend!!

See you in June of 2022. 3/9/2021 Another great cleaning by Trish...thank you again for always doing a nice job on my teeth and keeping me informed as to what issues you may be finding and how to help me take care of them. Love having Trish clean my teeth...she does a great job and makes sure I am doing fine during the cleaning. Fun catching up her and knowing that she and her family are fine, and she always asks about mine. Great attention to all my dental care. Here I am again...9 months after my last cleaning with Trish (delay due to COVID). Another great cleaning today as well as x-rays and exam by the dentist. Experiencia fantástica: We have been with them for over 10 years I think. They are amazing. They treat us great and have kept us coming back. They also have dealt with our children with a great deal of care. My 6 year old with ADHD doesn’t have a problem being there and in the chair. My 3 year old doesn’t have any fear of them either. They may not be a child’s dentist but it doesn’t keep them from doing that job.

Had a comprehensive exam and cleaning done and the only (slightly) painful part was biting down in the wings to have xrays taken lol. I've never had so many compliments about my teeth before, it was genuinely a wonderful boost to my confidence as I'd be worried that they'd be in terrible shape from neglect.

The new technology of 3D scanning and in-shop dental crown fabrication is amazing and fast. I look forward to another 25 years of going to them.

Dr. Snodgrass and Trish my hygienist took care of my teeth all these years and now keeping them maintained and healthy is all I have to worry about. They care about our health and keeping our teeth and gums healthy. That's why they stand out from all the other dentists I have gone to in the past.

I will be returning to this dental office. PS: They scheduled me the next day from when i called and i even got an early morning appointment!

Experiencia fantástica: After about 15 years of not being to the dentist, I was very apprehensive about going. I spent a TON of time reading reviews, and after seeing all the positive reviews for Thurston Oaks, I decided that was where I wanted to go. For my first appointment, they did a comprehensive exam and x-rays. Boy have they made advancements in how they do that! Instead of cardboard strips that you bite down on, they have this gadget that you put in your mouth and it connects to a computer, allowing them to instantly see the pictures. I was fortunate enough to only have 1 cavity, which seemed to surprise Dr. Jacob Farmer as much as myself. Unfortunately that cavity was so bad, the tooth had to go. It was a wisdom tooth anyway, so no worries there. I was instructed that getting a thorough cleaning was more important to get done first, and that I could schedule the extraction after that, unless the tooth was bothering me, which it wasn't. I had to have 2 separate cleaning appointments due to how much buildup I had on my teeth. Both cleaning appointments with Fred Farmer were mostly painless, and my teeth looked incredible afterward! Having never had an extraction, I was more than a little nervous to have it done. It took me quite awhile to get the nerve to schedule the appointment, and I almost chickened out on the day. When I arrived, the nurse/assistant (I'm not sure what her proper title is) did a wonderful job of helping me relax! I wish I could remember her name to give her credit. Anyway, I did not feel most of the novacaine injections at all! The one I did feel really wasn't bad either. Plucking a hair is more painful! Once I was numb, Dr. Farmer went to work. 10 minutes and lots of prying later, and my tooth was out. The novacaine lasted about another 3 hours, and I took some ibuprofen and 1 of the prescription painkillers prescribed after that. My extraction was 26 hours ago as of writing this, and aside from 2 ibuprofen this morning, I haven't taken any other pain medicine today. Absolutely the most pleasant experience I could ask for! On top of all this, I was paying out of pocket for all of my appointments, and they have a wonderful savings plan where you pay an upfront fee and it saves you a percentage off everything for 1 year. I've spent about $1200 collectively for my comprehensive, both cleanings, and the extraction, which is a few hundred dollars less than I would have otherwise spent. I really can't say enough great things about this place, and they definitely have a patient for life!

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have been coming here for years and so have our 4 children. Dr Snodgrass and Farmer are friendly and informative. The staff is very friendly and engaging. Good putting my kids at ease when they’re nervous. They regular check for cancer or other diseases of the the tongue, mouth, gums etc. I feel like care is given to not just the appearance but the durability, function, and comfort of my teeth. My teeth look better then ever and I don’t feel like I get advised to do unnecessary work like I have at another dentist. Caps and night guards are made quickly. We don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
