Experiencia fantástica: On short notice, I was given an appointment to see Dr Buzza after a medical procedure caused an issue with my gums. His assistant took some x-ray's of the area. I was very worried it was something serious, but Dr Buzza was able to treat the area and put me at ease. My stress level dropped right away and I felt much better. On the way out a woman in the front office took the time to go over the nuances of insurance networks. My issue was something I thought would go away on its own, but it just got worse. Next time I won't wait so long. .

Everyone was not only patient but aware that she is hard of hearing and mostly reads lips. Francisco took her X-rays & he couldn’t have been more kind to her, along w the staff that she came in contact with. Would definitely recommend to other people.

Experiencia negativa: If you want your one cavity missed while your healthy teeth are drilled and monetized. This is your guy! That appeared to be the attempt anyway but I was aware and found a legit dentist to verify this. I have the dental records. Neglected a very obvious cavity presumably for later harvesting of a root canal. Amazing, leaving records and everything. Beware, this is a common practice in the industry. Know your teeth, buy a dental mirror and picks and get multiple opinions. We all have eyes.

I was in for some routine work and it was determined that I had to have a root canal. . immediately. I was very nervous given what we all know about RCs. The Doctor and his team made me feel like I was the only patient in the office that day. The RC procedure was quick, seamless and highly professional. I think it's a testament to Doctor Buzza's skills and calming bedside manner, that his office recruits and retains a crew of truly wonderful support people. I say. . judge a leader for his competence, but also by the people he trains and puts on his team.

Called this office to see about an emergency appointment and they got me in right away! The entire team is so kind --Katie at the front desk went out of her way to get me in and help with my insurance when I didn't have my card with me. Dr. Douglas was kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. I don't recall the other team member names but I felt very cared for by everyone. My pain did not require treatment, but I received excellent advice and as someone who works in customer service, I can say this place knows what they're doing. Thank you!!!

I’ve known Dr. Buzza since 1993 or ‘94 when he was working on Mendocino Avenue near Santa Rosa Junior College, where I had just started working. John has operated a very successful practice on Guerneville Road, where he has been for decades. The offices and treatment rooms of his practice have doubled (maybe tripled?) in size over the years. Throughout the years, John has continued to be the same brilliant, compassionate, cutting edge, knowledgeable and ever-growing professional he has always been! And, he’s always had an outstanding sense of humor and is a person who treats his wonderful staff exceptionally well: with genuine respect for their own knowledge, terrific talents and contributions. As a patient, I was very fortunate that he was determined and skilled enough to salvage two molars for me in the last 3+ years! Suffice to say, John Buzza is one of the kindest, caring people I’ve had the privilege of knowing since my husband and I moved to Sonoma County in 1991! And he’s truly the BEST for dental care!!

They even gave me detailed spread sheets on pricing. Everyone was great in that office. Doctor Buzza I believe is a good dentist and good guy. Office was immaculate. They did all this plus X-rays on a complementary visit. Unfortunately they don’t take my insurance but will use them on tail end of my procedure that I will pay out of pocket Free t shirt also. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time and if I felt discomfort she would stop and reassess. She is super patient which is so important in a hygienist! So happy with her work! Francisco was a gem and helped me with my exam and explained what Dr. Buzza was going to be looking for and we talked about the holidays and how happy he was for soup season. Elizabeth went over my treatment plans and really spent the time to help me understand and was so nice. Everyone I interacted with was helpful and positive which made such an impression on me. Dr. Buzza was kind and completely put my mind at ease with my upcoming procedures. I was nervous to get two teeth pulled and in a lot of pain but they made me feel comfortable. The price without insurance is reasonable. The dentist pulled both of my teeth in under ten minutes, making sure I was ok each step of the way. Highly recommended!

Experiencia negativa: my grandson and I brought my 88 year old husband in for a broken partial of the front teeth. We wanted to go in with him to see if it could be fixed or if it needed a replacement,we were told there was no room for us. We waited in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours and no one communicated with us. At one point my husband told the girl to tell us we could go and come back when he was finished. She did not do that. When my husband finally came out we were presented with an $8000 bill!!

Experiencia positiva: I have to say that I really like Dr. Buzza and the staff. They’re all very nice and Dr. Buzza does Quality work. However, his prices are astronomical. He is not in network with my insurance and nobody bothered to remind me of that. It’s been years since I’ve seen him and I forgot he’s out of network with a lot of insurance is so what I paid for a root canal and a cap, my out-of-pocket after my insurance paid Was $2552 and change !!!! To say I was not happy is an understatement I feel Completely and totally ripped off! Like I busted my ass working and just gave it all away for one tooth!! So do your due diligence make sure you ask if they are in network because they are not going to ask you or at least they did not with me I was surprised by the price after the root canal and even doubly surprised when I went to get my cap to find out, I had $552 more to pay. I don’t know about you, but money does not grow on trees for me! A very big chunk of my savings is gone and I’m beside myself and just ready to cry about it. Shame on me for not asking if they were in network. I was in pain when I went in and wasn’t thinking about it. But shame on them for not asking as well. And unfortunately, I cannot afford him so I won’t be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: From the moment I walked in, I felt cared for and in good hands. The office is carefully decorated and the staff was warm and welcoming. I was there because I had an infected tooth, was in pain and needed certain accommodations that my regular dentist couldn’t provide. Pax, Dr. Buzza’s assistant, started off with a specialized X-ray and high-tech digital modeling of my whole mouth. He is very personable and caring. When Dr. Buzza came in, I was impressed by his warmth and the thoroughness with which he discussed and diagnosed issues that my regular dentist did not catch. He assured me that I would be taken care of and because he was going out of town, gave me two referrals so I could get started with treatment. Later that day, I called the office to discuss options and Elizabeth, at the front office, gave me the same time and care as we move forward with a plan. Dr. Buzza offers different sedation options which is what led me to him in the first place, but after my visit I decided that he will be my regular dentist from now on.

Today I went to Dr Buzza’s office for a LONG overdue teeth cleaning..My wife referred me to Renee….OMG!!! Was I scared.. YES…as if going to the dentist wasn’t enough, because I hadn’t had a cleaning in 3-4 years, she needed X-rays and the Dreaded tooth measuring… (tears here). Instead of me bolting from the chair, Renee suggested using a topical to numb the areas… I agreed….OMG, she accomplished not only the measuring but she was able to complete the cleaning and do a rather deep cleaning after another application of the magic topical at my request.(Just to be Sure I wouldn’t feel anything). Guess What..I didn’t feel a thing! Renee was confident, caring, Patient, always explained what she was doing and checked to see how I was doing often. We scheduled my next appt and I bounced out of the office in shear joy!!!!!! If you are like me, see Renee at Dr Buzza’s office..you KNOW you have to do it before things get worse…l am looking forward to my next visit, Renee is Awesome!

Rene was professional, friendly, interesting, and so gentle as she took xrays, measurements and asked questions and had advice for my changing/aging teeth. Dr. Douglas found an issue with a back molar I wasn’t even aware of, saving me a potential surprise dental failure. I’ll be back in less than a week to have it taken care of. We were greeted right away by friendly staff. They were extremely professional but also made us feel very comfortable. Unsure of her name, but the dental hygienist who last numbed me was amazing! I didn’t feel the needle At all!! Dr buzza makes me laugh and is always so upbeat and very honest and reassuring! My first deep cleaning and it went great!! This is a procedure that is never something I look forward too, but after today, I don’t think I will dread them Quite as much! Experiencia fantástica: I was having the most severe pain I’ve experienced in my life for 6 days and woke up feeling even worse in the middle of the night. I called Dr. Buzza’s office before they opened and got an answering machine and planned to call back in half an hour assuming they hadn’t opened yet. They called me back just seeing they had missed a call. They didn’t know me. I apologize for not remembering who I first spoke with as I was in so much pain and scared. She got me in on emergency within an hour. I was taken in by a kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable medical professional. Again I apologize I don’t remember your name but looking at the website I think this was Francisco. If so, thank you! You are very very skilled at your career and it is clear you care and actually enjoy what you do. Dr. Buzza is obviously a very busy doctor. He squeezed me in to his schedule. He listened to me. He figured out my problem despite my symptoms not being straight forward. Thank you! I was so relieved at having an answer. Thank you! His front office staff, again I don’t recall names, were kind, compassionate and helped arrange medications to a pharmacy and a root canal within 2 hours. I have a chronic pain syndrome and was so worried that I had a new unbearable pain to deal with. I was hoping “it was just a tooth” problem but it what I was feeling didn’t logically make sense to me for a dental problem and a dentist I saw the day prior did not think it was that so I was very worried this wasn’t going to get better. (New symptoms developed the next day - the first dentist did all that I would have expected). I am starting to feel much better. And have not had the severe pain since being taken care of by Dr. Buzza and his team. Thank you to everyone.
