Experiencia positiva: Came to get an existing crown reinstalled which my previous Dennis said would cost 350 to 400. Advance wanted to put in new crown for $2450. Too expensive considering I am a senior person with no dental insurance.

I had a long period of ignoring regular dental visits due to the worries of cost but their welcoming and caring demeanor helped relieve any anxiety I had about my poor maintenance. I would recommend this office to anyone.

They got me in and assessed what needed to be done was very, very good with communication explaining everything, explaining what the costs. Today was the day that they extracted my infected tooth. They were very patient very communicative very attentive, one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had and I can’t wait to continue working with them and getting my mouth in healthy condition. Experiencia fantástica: I felt like both my hygienist and doctor were thorough and caring. They both explained to me the problem they found and what procedures needed to be done. They also informed me of the fact that insurance may not cover all of it and how much it may cost.

Experiencia negativa: I was referred by a coworker because they had a machine to make crowns the same day first appointed lasted 31/2 hours Then went in for a crown made a an impression for the final crown it was very messy and the tempary was to high after many times to get it fit right i gave up it was to high. Then they had to send it out to the lab. After a week i made an appointment to grind it down i was tired that I could not close my teeth together. Went in for my appointment they said oh I am glad you came in the lab did not like the impression three hours later the temp was on so hard they had to grind and chip it off. Very painful finally they got a good impression but they wanted to use the same glue I said you better use something else I dont want to go through that again it was a horrible experience I had an appointment to have the final crown on then they said ok we have you down 2 more crowns I said I wanted to get this done before the next work so because I did not want to have more work done they changed my appointment to a month later than my already set appointment

I was notified longer able to go to Gresham advance Dentistry..I took a different job 3 months ago, and was beyond excited to know that I could return here, and my employer was in their network. I adore everyone in this office, and the second anyone asks me what dentist in Gresham I recommended....hands down its My GAD dentist fam! They truly care about their patients needs and comfort and that is by far the best thing you want when you are in pain, or suddenly broke a tooth. They'll take care of you, and the fact that they're open late and on Saturdays is the cherry on top!

Experiencia negativa: So far not confident in the treatment! I still haven't seen Gordon A. Kelch D.D.S. ! The infection caused by the broken tooth has not been addressed. The consultation was not performed by the dentist or a physician. The prescription has not been received yet. The extensive surgery is scheduled and prepaid, less than a week away! Wish me luck!

Experiencia negativa: I came in with tooth pain but it was never figured out. Did all the tap and cold tooth test ect. That was ok. They told me I could come back around 4:30 to put a crown on my cracked tooth. Dr Wynn I think her name was, was the dentist to cap my tooth. I didn’t get a feeling of confidence when I first talk to her. But she was nice. She went to work on the tooth and was hitting my other teeth quite a bit working. Then I got the feeling that she might be a new dentist. She put too much glue in the tooth so when she pushed it on the tooth it was coming out into my mouth. She was trying to get it all out. She didn’t do anything to the outside of the tooth so it is not smooth at all. I wish I would have gotten one of the guys. I think that is where the high ratings come from. The other thing that bothered me was the hygienist I seen that morning took her mask off to talk to me and her nose was running onto her face. It was coming out her nose and she kept talking to me. Finally she left so blow her nose. She kept sniffing to try to keep it from running while she worked checking my teeth. I wasn’t sure if she had a cold or allergies. It kind of grossed me out. I had other work that needed to be done. I never made an appointment and no one ever called wondering why I didn’t come back. I decided I would go somewhere else. It was not a good experience. Maybe a different dentist will be able to get the glue off my tooth unless it is too late.

Experiencia fantástica: I needed to have a tooth pulled that was infected and causing me a lot of pain. I’m not local to the area but luckily advanced dentistry was able to get me in the same day, that was a blessing. Upon arrival I got greeted by the insurance coordinator Erica, who was very nice and helpful. After meeting with her the hygentist Emily took me back, examined what needed to be done and from there I met the wonderful dentist Dr Hanset. Not only was Dr hanset very nice but he also walked me through what the experience and work I was about to have done, he was very thorough and clear spoken. I have seen many many dentists over my 24 years of life and Dr hanset and his crew stuck out to me the most, everyone was awesome, but Dr hanset made my experience unforgettable. I wish I was local so I could make him my primary dentist. I would recommend Gresham advanced dentistry and Dr. Hanset to anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist, or just recommend them to anyone who needs or is looking for a new dentist. Clean, sterile, very nice group. Highly recommended from me.

Experiencia fantástica: I just had all my 4 wisdom teeth removed couple days ago, had a great experience, the Doctor took the time to explained the procedure, he made sure I was very relax and completely numb before starting the procedure. He was checking on me throughout the whole procedure. I didnt feel any pain other than just pressure. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dental work this was not easy for me but the doctor and his assistant provided a calming experience. Will 100% recommend this place. ALSO Terra I believe that's her name front desk lady she was amazing at making sure my app was on time and that my medications were delivered before going in to appointment.

I am so happy to have this office for periodontal care for the last year and a half, a crown, and an occlusal guard. Just the best!

Experiencia negativa: They didn't help my husband at all they got him in fast yes but all they did was look at what was wrong them gave him pain pills and booked him a week out for root canal. His face doubled in size they night. Went to our normal dentist next day they had to drain it and put him on strong antibiotics. And in 3 day fixing it after swelling goes down. We even asked no antibiotics they said no. How can you not tell something is infected and not give antibiotics.

My face was totally swollen from a broken tooth that I should’ve had pulled forever ago but I’m actually pretty scared of the dentist, so with that being said if you’re scared of the dentist they’ll help you get over that fear with their understanding and kind nature. Experiencia positiva: I was expecting a general cleaning and a consultation with the dentist in my first appointment. I had an oral exam that included several invasive photos being taken of my entire mouth, inside, up, down, nothing was left to the imagination. Some were uncomfortable and definitely not what I expected? I’m use to getting a few pictures and a panoramic view? This was way beyond that. Had she the hygienist had an assistant to operate the machine would have cut down on the back and forth steps and my discomfort level? I expressed my frustration and wanted upfront communication of each procedure before it happens. I will say that I have beautiful pictures of each and every single tooth and then some? Wow .

We laid out a game plan and and he gave me several options that I could choose in order to get there. I felt like he listened to my concerns and answered all my questions and did not make me feel rushed. They even got me in for a 6:00 pm appointment so I did not miss any work!

Experiencia fantástica: I am visiting Oregon from Rhode Island and on our very first hike I fell and busted open my chin and cracked a tooth. It was 3:30 in the afternoon. We took a chance and called for an emergency appointment. They saw me right away and fixed my tooth before going to the local emergency room for stitches for my chin. They even were able to see me a few days later on a Saturday with just a phone call in the am. I am super grateful for their kindness. They were wonderful. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much

Experiencia fantástica: Everything from beginning to end was seamless and easy. Scheduling, reminders, communication and insurance billing. The front staff was friendly at check in and check out and the dental hygenist I saw (Kristen I believe) was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate not feeling rushed or like I was asking too many questions. My teenage daughter was being treated in the space next to me and seemed happy when we left. Dr Hanset let me know how her exam went and explained his recommendations then performed my exam. They were very thorough were imaging and seemed to really care about my dental health. And after all that the cost estimate I received for the recommended treatment was extremely reasonable! Glad I went with GAD after not seeing a dentist in a little while.

Experiencia fantástica: New to the area, I didn’t have a dentist yet; but a toothache hit me over the weekend and I connected to GAD online. They called me back first thing Monday and got me in that same day! Everyone was so kind and helpful! What I’d hoped was just caused by a cavity turned out to be more involved. Dr. Nguyen was thorough, compassionate, gentle and thorough and suggested a referral to an Endodontist due to the complexity of the issue. Not only that, but they got me in with a hygienist so I could keep to my regular schedule of cleanings.

Experiencia fantástica: Update 7/9/25: I really cannot say enough nice things about Gresham Advanced Dentistry and their wonderful staff. I selected my insurance based on my positive experiences here. I will not go anywhere else for dental care. For me, this was the best dental experience I have had. I really appreciated how easy it was to make an appointment. I had a broken tooth, so extraction and bone graft for a future implant. Dr. Gordon Kelch and his assistant Tiffany are exemplary. I am so excited to find a dental clinic that I can come back to - they really did a great job today. Thank you so much.

Experiencia negativa: I had an appointment to have a permanent crown put on. 10 minutes before I was to leave home for the appointment. I got a call saying that they have not sent in the picture of my lower teeth they needed in order to have a crown made. I was very upset because this was a half an hour trip for me and my husband. It takes us about 10 minutes to get in and out of the car because we both use walkers and I thought this was very uncalled for. I had an appointment to come in for that on June the 17th but I had just gotten out of the hospital the night before so I called to postpone it. Why did Brooke not know at that time things were not in order for the crown. ? My husband & I both were very disappointed. My main question is Why was this not realized 2 weeks sooner?

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. The dental hygienist are very friendly and are great at keeping the gum stabbing to a minimum! The dentists are all awesome at explaining what’s going inside my mouth and what I can expect. The first time I visited after moving here from AZ the dentist took a look at my records and asked “so what changed for you 6 years ago?” He could see something previous dentists couldn’t or didn’t at the time and was able to figure out why I was seeing issues now all tracked back to a seemingly minor life change 6 years prior! The most Sherlock-ian experience I’ll ever get! Can’t praise this team enough! 10/10 highly recommend!

My concern is that every time we go I get a different hygienist. I would prefer to continue to see the same one appointment after appointment. I believe that that would give me more consistent care.

I cracked a tooth and was lucky to get a weekend appointment on short notice, because it was painful to have the nerve exposed. They were great with pain management throughout my treatment. The doctor and his entire team — from reception to assistants and doctor — were all terrific with their communications and care at every step. They told me what to expect without my needing to ask and they were kind and relaxed, which helped with my anxiety about dental visits. Communications were friendly and prompt from the time I first called. Then I was greeted the moment I came in and told when I'd be seen and it went easily, because they offered a form to fill in digitally ahead of time and they found my insurance info even though I didn't have my insurance card on hand. They even printed out all of my options when it came to insurance co-pays, so I could decide with all the info clearly detailed. I feel lucky that they're nearby, because I'm newish to the area and now plan to use them regularly. One of the unexpectedly nice things: The treatment area I was in even had a big window that looked onto beautiful trees. I don't remember ever having a nice, relaxing view to look at in any dental setting before.

Experiencia fantástica: I will start off by saying that i am a highly anxious person when it comes to dentistry. Usually i need to get put to sleep for cavity fillings. My wisdom tooth broke in half one evening. The next day at around noon, after calling maybe a dozen or so different dentists, I called Gresham Advanced Dentistry and they got me in for an appointment at 5:30 that same day. ( all the other places only had appointments 2 weeks out, and I would still need to be referred to a oral surgeon after.) I waited in the waiting room for maybe 2 minutes tops. They took a quick xray and pictured the tooth. Dr. Hanset came in very soon afterwards and talked to me about the tooth and offered to do it right then and there which I agreed to, of course. I felt none of the pokes from the local anesthetic. It was amazing. After it set in, he did a very thorough check to make sure I was truly numb. The dental assistant was a joy. Keeping things light and calming me down seeing my anxiety. He started on the tooth, and had it pulled out in under 5 minutes. I left the building with my extraction baggy, and instructions, feeling so much better at 6:30pm. I have never been in and out of a Dental clinic in 1 hour. I felt so good and was in such a happy mood I even went to Costco afterwards. Usually afterwards I go home and curl up in bed. It is now 4 days post extraction and I feel amazing. Bleeding stopped later that evening. I have no swelling. I even had my baby shower yesterday and no one was able to tell. My family and I will definitely be coming back for all future visits.

Dr. Hanset and his team are professional, knowledgeable and do such great work. Being new to the area and having to establish dental care has been an easy transition thanks to GAD.

Experiencia positiva: My appointment with Dr Kelce went very well. I had 4 rather difficult cavaties that are not the easiest to service but the man completed those tasks in less than 90 minutes. All the time he answered my questions and explained the process and put me at ease with his skill and professionalism. After the anesthesia wore off there were no issues with my lower prosthetic or any of the teeth he worked on. Thank you Dr.Kelce for doing such a great job!

Experiencia negativa: Ouch. Sure made me feel small. I may be a simple man but i need help and it hurts my heart that someone can look me in the face and smile wanting money to take the pain away. It may not seem like much, but every cent i have doesn't cover the quote I got. Not by half i must have missed something when people actually cared about others. If you can get me on that money train that can afford an extraction cost like the one i was quoted it would be much appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff were friendly and Doctor Kelch was one of the best Dentist I have ever came across in my 40 years of having major Dental procedure done. He was tentative and went through all the options with me. I didn’t feel rush; he took the time to listen and answers my questions. Before the oral surgery procedure, he explained what is expected. He stopped during the procedure and asked if I was doing okay. While his assistant was explaining the post operation steps, he peaked in to see if I was still doing alright. He is professional, genuine, and attenative. It showed how he cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Doctor Kelch to anyone who is not happy with their current service or anyone who is looking for a new Dentist. He is the best in town. My teeth are in great shape. ========================================================= This is an update to two other reviews I wrote for this practice. I’ve been a patient at this practice for a long time. Things changed greatly when my original dentist sold the practice and left the area. I was unsure and skeptical about all the changes that came. Luckily for me, Dr. Hanset and his team have built a great practice in a short time. I found a an awesome hygienist named Rachel and a great dentist, Dr. Kelch. I highly recommend this practice. I have to commend Dr. Hanset for addressing some concerns I had when he took over the practice. He went out of his way to address any issues I had. Everything has been fantastic since then. Thank you to all there.

Now that I have found, Gresham Advanced Dentistry, I do look forward to my next visit. Warm cozy atmosphere with a family friendly feeling. They really care about my health and explain things so I can understand what's happening or what to expect. I would give them more stars if I could.

I will not be going to another dentist office. They always make me feel comfortable! Warm, fuzzy blanket, headphones with music! All the things I need to be calm and taken care of.
