What really stood out to me was their honesty — I thought I needed much more dental work than I actually did, but they didn’t try to push unnecessary procedures or upsell me on anything. I also don’t have dental insurance, so I was nervous about pricing, but they were surprisingly affordable and very transparent about costs. They made me feel very comfortable by not asking probing or judgmental questions about my habits, which made the entire experience feel respectful and stress-free. No no no this placewant to upsell you as much as possible ecplaining to you that zero work will be done i cluding cleaning until afyer you agree to the costly plan they come up with. Also dont you worry if you cant afford it today they will submit an application on your behalf for care credit at al.ost 36% interest. Oh and do t worry the credit inquiry that will def affect your credit they will lie and say dont you worry it wont affect your score or even show up as an inquiry.. Ha ha ha . Cinsidering the massive complaints plus the tort lawsuits against this company and its various franchises all over the us. Do yourself a favor go to andifferent dental provider. Not to mention they charge mhch mote than they should for any dentures. Charge a premium price for basic low end dentures. So happy zi wasted hours of my workd day going here. Lesson learned the hard way.Dont be like me.Do your self a favor and skip this place.I promise you def wont regret it at all! Score should be a negativr 5 IMO .

Experiencia fantástica: We have all good things to say about this Aspen Dental in Portland Oregon. We were unhappy with prices and service at our home town dentist. Staff super helpful. Very impressed that before Official COVID closures they were practicing social distancing and masks and cleaning. My husband is in immunotherapy cancer treatment and they have taken extra precautions with him. I like that if needed we can do a finance plan as we are retired and no dental insurance. Even though we drive 80 miles; way more cost effective and excellent care. Thank You Penny and John

No conclusive answers, poor communication, receiving lots of people in without enough professional in house. Never going back in.

I had been suffering from severe wisdom tooth pain that had become completely unbearable. I was terrified walking in as this was my very first dental procedure, but from the moment I met Dr. Sagar, all my fears melted away. He was professional, kind, and humble, taking the time to explain every single step of the procedure clearly, which made me feel so much more at ease. Dr. Sagar diagnosed that both my upper and lower wisdom teeth needed to be extracted due to infection and improper growth. Despite how serious it sounded, he handled the entire procedure so smoothly and skillfully that I didn't feel any pain at all! Dr. Jasmine was absolutely wonderful in assisting with the procedure. Knowing I was terrified of needles, she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the anesthesia process. Her kindness and reassurance meant the world to me! Experiencia negativa: I find it quite disheartening from my experience. Nice people, however, when a dentist refuses to make your denture and partial unless you pay to have a temporary partial while the permanent one is being made is not a great service to me. I want functional not just a smile piece. When your insurance only allows a certain amount for your procedures and such, you need to use your coverage as a well needed action. So I find it offensive to try to hold me as a hostage to the temporary piece, and wait for 6 months for the partial. Very disappointed to this action. I am not new to dentures and have worn an upper plate for the last 20+ years. Well wishes to those they have helped. Have a great day!

I have extreme dental anxiety and that was known and all of the workers showed barely any compassion if not any. On top of that, they told me I would only be charged around $800 so I used care credit. Well now, I have an ADDITIONAL bill coming from aspen, over $400 with the same service description. I will never ever ever ever recommend anyone to ever go to this place. Ever.

Experiencia positiva: The staff was great and helpful the atmosphere was a little uncomfortable I was not impressed with the lay out of the facility. The X-ray machine was in a room the size of a closet the chair they have you sit in was an office chair. The young lady taking the X-rays seemed to be a little green she had to get help to retake some X-rays. My appointment was to look at one tooth the dentist came in looked at my teeth said I need this and that done next thing I know they are giving me a plan of about $14,000 which I wasn’t expecting that I was shocked and I’m still in shock.

Experiencia negativa: My appointment was at 230, my husband had one at 3, he was called back first, I waited until 315 to be seen, only after I mentioned to the receptionist that my appointment was first. The girl doing the X-ray DID NOT know what she was doing,the doctor spent 5 minutes with me, then said you probably already know the pricing after your husband was seen. I did not so then I waited another 30 minutes to get pricing, still wasn’t told pricing because I walked out not satisfied at all. Will not be getting any work from your unprofessional, lack of skill, lazy overpriced office who have no idea what an itemized quote is!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had dental work done where I had all my lower teeth removed so I had to get my lower denture adjusted the lady that worked on my denture to adjust it done such a wonderful job I like to keep her around for about 3 more weeks case I have any more issues she was very nice and caring about me and how I felt with my new dentures I want to give her a high five I also went home and ate a cheeseburger and french fries

Experiencia negativa: I came in with a specific issue that needed to be handled quickly. I needed a cleaning and temporary fillings on two teeth. Most places are booked out for months, but this clinic agreed over the phone to help me the same day. However, during the visit all they did was a long exam, and the actual treatment would have to wait because the doctor I needed is “currently on a business trip.” On top of that, they gave me an estimate showing $26k for what I asked for — with zero breakdown or itemized pricing. I have no idea why they added their full list of services when I clearly asked for temporary fillings and a cleaning. But according to the consultant, the doctor wants to do crowns, and he doesn’t want to do fillings. It’s ridiculous. The price for a filling is absurd, and the cleaning alone was nearly $3.5k. In the end, I wasted my only day off, spent a bunch of time there, and walked out with nothing done. After the visit they emailed me asking to leave a Google review — so here it is.

Experiencia negativa: After seeing an endontist, I was informed my tooth was not a good candidate for a root canal. I went to Dr. Sagar for an extraction. It was stubborn, but I never would have imagined the pain I have endured since this procedure. Pieces of bone have been and continue to burrow up through my gums. Fortunately, Aspen Dental on S.E. 82nd have been cleaning up Dr. Sagar's mess.

They did get me right in and came up with a dental plan that I could afford I was very pleased and this would have been a five star review except , I could not afford the recommended plan so I was just going to have the tooth causing the pain removed but then I was presented a plan to get two removed and get a partial for a price within my reach .The dentist was great at removing the teeth no complaints , but when I got my partial it was missing a tooth soon in my mind I would bring it to there attention and they would fix it for me no harm no foul but instead they told me they could add the missing tooth and while I was waiting to do another impression the receptionist came and told me that my insurance benefit was depleted so it would cost me another 200 and something dollars to basically fix there mistake

Experiencia negativa: Chose Aspen Dental (not my normal dentist but chose them because I had a horrible toothache and it was the weekend and felt I needed to get in and couldn't wait until Monday or later. They advertised "emergency" dental services and had an appointment in about an hour or so. Great! (according to their website). I completed the online forms which were there to help expedite the appointment. When I arrived they asked for the same information so I am not sure if they even received it. But they must have because they called me on the phone. The staff was friendly and got me in at a reasonable amount of time. Great! They treated my case as a "new patient" and wanted to do full mouth XRay and oral exam which they did. A dentist later came into the room, reviewed my XRays and discussed a plan moving forward. He didn't ask me about my tooth and it seemed like he was starting to wrap up the conversation. I asked, "What about my tooth, which is why I came in?" It turns out that I would need to see a "specialist" to determine what is going on with the tooth and what needs to be done. The "specialist" travels around and the soonest they could get me in for that is 2 weeks later! So much for emergency dental! It would be 5 stars if they had taken care of the reason for the visit. Took 3 stars off because they didn't.

Experiencia negativa: Worst dentist ever. He didn't even look in My mouth. More interested in his phone call. Took 2 minutes to tell me it would be $3,500 and all I wanted was to relive my bottom denture. I drove a good hour and a half to get there. Terrible. I'll not recommend.

Experiencia negativa: The dental work that you did for my dad was good but your process for prep before getting your teeth pulled and being under anesthesia needs a lot of work. He had to reschedule the first time because nobody told him he couldn't eat. Apparently it was "" in the paperwork"" . I think that a call the day before to go over prep and procedure would be very helpful. He was not able to be put all the way under because he didn't bring his diabetes medication. Nobody ever told us to bring it. They just told us he had to stop taking it. So he had to be awake during his whole procedure. Not happy about that at all. You guys really need to work on your prep prior to procedure

Office staff very helpful and took lead on working with insurance company. -Useful iPad application for filling out patient information. -Xray technician made two quick xrays and dentist reviewed the information, did a quick examination and provided excellent care.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was very nice, I was there for a toothache, but they seemed more concerned about my missing teeth in the back that have been missing for years, made me an estimate, which I found ridiculous, everything was way expensive, told them I'm on disability and there's no way I'd ever be able to pay for any of it except the extraction, but they were very adimint about me getting partials when I told them I could not afford them.

But the other ppl waiting for their appointments even told me that all the employees are very understanding and sweet. After my experience I can say the same. Experiencia negativa: They tried to take advantage of my elderly father for thousands of dollars for treatments unnecessary for someone in his last stages of life. Refused to treat an immediate problem without the add ons. Went somewhere else that I am very pleased with.

Experiencia fantástica: Good experience: as a new patient, I was seen by the hygienist and dentist, and my dental concerns were assessed resulting in a plan. The next appointments were quickly scheduled and all the procedures explained. I'm looking forward to going back and getting things taken care of.

Experiencia negativa: Bewildering experience. Went here because it was listed under my insurance. When checking in I confirmed my insurance policy and that they indeed accepted it. When I left I settled the bill and paid in full a little over $500. Shortly after I get messages about owing the equivalent amount. Then shortly after (all within just 6-8weeks of appt) I get debt collectors calling and messaging as well as a nice ding on my credit. Turns out they sent in a locum (travel/temporary dentist) they hired to do my dental work, whom doesn’t accept my insurance. Agreeing there was absolutely nothing more on my end I could have done to avoid this, and that it was indeed on them - they said they would fix the issue but couldn’t do it immediately. 2 more calls down the road the messaging was the same and I paid the bill to stop the collections and credit hit (still working to get that off). They never refunded me or did anything to address their incompetence. My husband and I both planned to go continue with Aspen dental, will never be back now. Even with insurance - I highly recommend avoiding this dental business because they hire locum tenens providers (temporary 1099 dentists) that don’t accept the insurance the Aspens dental brand claims to accept; then they won’t fix the situation. A lot of people don’t have the money to pay an extra $500+ to fix a mistake of their dentist office. I haven’t had the time to.. yet… but I will absolutely be reporting to SoS, AG, state and ADA dental boards for ethics, and my insurance company that linked me to their office.

Experiencia negativa: This place is the last dentist you would want to go to. I was homeless and underage, I didn’t go to the dentist in years because I couldn’t afford to. They had a first time free policy so I thought I struck gold! But when I got there? They took multiple x-rays from different machines (which I found out later wasn’t covered by said policy!) and then inspected my mouth. They were so dramatic and essentially shamed me for something I couldn’t control like canker sores and cavities. I felt so humiliated, but the thing that made me cry when walking out was when they told me I would have to pay thousands to remove teeth (which was never mentioned by any dentist I’ve had since as it wasn’t necessary at all!) Afterwards, they called and told me I needed to pay up, and mentioned the xray imaging that wasn’t covered in policy which I never would’ve done if I knew that. I refused and stated as such, they promised they would waiver the payment since I didn’t consent to that non-policy imaging. And for 3 YEARS I would get random calls from then and later on a debt collector, and every time I had to remind them that they said they wavered it, and I didn’t consent to that. Thankfully one employee wavered the fee while I was on call and messaged the debt collector. And I haven’t heard from them since. But this has left a permanent bad taste for Aspen that I will never forget about. They are predatory, greedy, and unprofessional. And I will continue to tell everyone who listens in the Portland metro area that this is the worst place to trust for your teeth and sanity.

Experiencia fantástica: Woke up on 5/6/25 at 2am with a toothache from an upper molar. Tried to wait and see if it would go away. It did not. Found Aspen Dental online at 8am on 5/7/25. Booked an appointment online for 9:30am same day. Got X-rays of my mouth, consulted with the dentist and they squeezed me in for a tooth extraction at 1pm same day. It did not hurt at all when I was numbed before the extraction. I heard a couple tiny creaks come from my mouth but I could not feel anything as the dentist extracted my tooth. I was in and out of the office within 25 mins. I am very happy with the staff and my experience today at Aspen Dental in Gresham. The staff also loves babies, they were so sweet to my 8mo old girl. Thank you very much!

Experiencia negativa: I really don't like leaving bad reviews. But this one is well deserved. Me and my wife made appointments to have our teeth cleaned. Instead, we waited over an hour to be led around the office to take multiple X-rays even though we had just had rays 6 months ago. The staff is nice, but we did not receive the service we scheduled an appointment for. We didn't even get water in our mouths after a 2+ hour visit, and now we have had to schedule a cleaning with another dentist's office. Completely wasted our time. Seems more like they wanted to file the insurance claims than actually clean our teeth. The low reviews are well deserved. Plus the office is extremely dirty and unsanitary. I didn't even see any of the equipment that you would need to perform anything dental. No water, dental supplies, etc...idk Most dentist offices will at least give you a toothbrush and floss to take home. Nope nothing.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve gone to the Hillsboro Aspen Dental location in the past, and unfortunately, my experience there wasn’t the best — especially with the front staff and leadership. Despite that, I continued with Aspen and even completed Motto trays, seeing different doctors along the way. Now, I’m more than willing to drive an hour just to see Dr. Sagar and his team at the Gresham location! They are polite, knowledgeable, and truly take their time to understand and resolve any issues. They even make it fun to come in because the team energy is so positive and welcoming. While it’s still the same company, I really appreciate that the director for the area stepped in to help find a resolution to my earlier concerns. Months later, I can confidently say I’m very satisfied with the work and follow-up I’ve received at Gresham Aspen Dental. Thank you again to Dr. Sagar and the whole team!

Experiencia fantástica: Really fast service, super nice dentist…concise and to the point! It was great, they did what I asked and to me, that is what matters. And, my dentures were still on warranty so it was a free visit…you can’t beat that!

Experiencia fantástica: I broke my lower denture andto it to Aspen on a Saturday. Unfortunately the lab technician was on vacation but promptly fixed it on Monday. The staff was professional and friendly.

Experiencia negativa: Walls are dirty, chipped and have dents so big it looks like somebody hit them with a baseball bat. Was made to wait a really long time for the hygienist. The people were nice, but it was a very uncomfortable experience.

Experiencia negativa: These people should be avoided at all costs!! I went in and had extractions done. At the time I was told I had infections under my gums but was given No antibiotics. Two days later I called them to report I was developing an infection. They acted concerned and even called back to tell me that they would send in a prescription for Penicillin. We carefully confirmed the pharmacy`s address and phone number. After waiting hours for a call from the pharmacy saying that it was ready I went down to check. They found no record of any prescription sent in by Aspin Dental!!! And by the Aspin was closed for the day. So now I have to go to work tomorrow while the infection just gets worse because they could not be bothered to actually send in the prescription! If you want to give your money to people who care nothing at all about your health this is the place for you. But if you want someone who cares whether or not they cause you harm, go anywhere but to Aspin Dental! Well I wrote this on Friday and on Monday the only response I had received from anyone at Aspin was their social media person responding on Saturday to this with the claim that I would be contacted. That was also a LIE! No one has contacted me even in response to the messages I had left with their office. In fact it was only after my wife called them on Monday that they finally did put in the prescription. I have as yet received NO apology or any other form of contact from them at all.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had many issues not being able to get my teeth cleaned or taken care of because a previous dental office said I could not be seen until I've gotten treatment from a specialist. That said specialist wanted to charge a fortune for just a deep cleaning without any info on where to go from there. So I hadn't been to the dentist in years because I thought I couldn't. I made an online appointment and now am on my way to getting my teeth repaired with the help of their amazing staff without having to pay a huge amount up front. They were amazing. I wish I would have gotten a second opinion 7 years ago. I wouldn't have had such terrible problems with my teeth if I had went to Aspen dental way back then. Just made an appointment for my husband so that he can start his healthy mouth journey right along with me. Thank you Aspen Dental for helping me begin repairing my teeth! You all are amazing!
