Experiencia fantástica: Update: January 2026 Does your blood pressure go down when you visit the Dentist? Mine does, I just had my regular cleaning, Tanya is a wonderful Dental Hygienist. As is the rest of Dr. Naik’s staff. And to think, I was nearly going to look for another provider when it was time to replace my Dentures. My old ones were getting pretty worn after twenty plus years. And Dr. Naik isn’t cheap….! Even with fairly good insurance. I had a lot of thinking to do. I have friend’s who’ve gone to Mexico, and certainly there’s no shortage of Dental Providers hawking fast and cheap. I’ve even found do it yourself kits online. The short answer is, I trust Dr. Naik and the excellence of her staff. When thinking about the cost, I thought about the cost of setting up as a new patent, Exam, x-rays yada yada. I’ve had very good dentists but also a couple really really bad ones. Like the experience when I got my very first set of dentures, I’d been a smoker most of my life and this is one of the eventual costs. I had to go back for adjustments every day for over a month with that Dental office. I think it was my wife who first visited Dr. Naik, and she urged me to see what Dr. Naik could do. Dr. Naik gave me dentures that lasted long enough to wear out! In my gut, I know that trust and excellence of care was worth more to me. For this set of Dentures, Upper and Lowers with locators Dr. Naik used Laser Measurements. When we got the Dentures back from the Lab. They fit, first try. NO adjustments. A little snug but they were new, now they are comfortable and I’m happy with them. I’m glad I went with my trust and didn’t give in to my fugal (my wife calls it cheap) nature. I really value the trust that has been built through the years. Dr. Naik is such a blessing and so is her staff. I was in the waiting area one day while my wife was getting her teeth cleaned. About four or five other people were waiting, you know waiting. When a conversation broke out, more than the usual howdie doo’s. Each person began talking about how they felt at Desert Sky Dentistry. A couple of people even exchanged Sourdough Starter. I’ve even remarked that I’d like to go there when I’m having a really stressful day. Dr. Naik had always provided her patents with a comforting environment. January 2026 April 2025 Desert Sky Dentistry is an excellent practice, I’ve been treated by Sheila Naik, D.D.S. for over twenty years. She has maintained an excellent practice throughout this time. The office staff and hygienists are great people, this is a very relaxing and is a pleasant place to be. The quality, sensitivity and gentleness of everyone provides pleasant relief when compared to other Dental Offices that I've been to. This flows from Dr. Naik's personal dedication to the Dental Arts. Tanya, Dental Hygienist has been with the practice sense nearly the beginning. I recommend her very highly even if she is "Out of Network" it's worth it to check the coverage.

Experiencia fantástica: Have been visiting the clinic for a while now. Dr. Naik and Dr. Liu genuinely care for the patients. They take time to help me understand what’s needed for my oral care in the future. The last time I went for cleaning, hygienist Tanya was attending and she was so thorough with every detail. The treatment, scheduling flexibility or the follow ups, everything about this place is amazing and I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Today I had my first appointment to actually have work done on my teeth. Dr. Naik and her team made me feel SO at ease before starting my treatment. They gave me a blanket, nitrous and a pillow to hold on to for my anxiety. I had 5 cavities fixed with no pain what so ever and my next task is to get a new crown. After today, I feel much more at ease having to get the crown and Dr. Naik's reassurance that everything will be OK because we already got through the hard part. Thank you to each and every one of you. I would give you 10 stars if I could.

The staff is super focused on your well-being and health. Each treatment room is meticulously appointed and every touch point is sanitized after each patient. Desert Sky Dentistry uses the very latest in technology and keeping you the patient comfortable. I always feel like I am visiting family and friends when I go in for any procedure, whether it's routine cleaning or more complicated work. Experiencia fantástica: Finding new physicians and dentists after a move across country is not the easiest task which comes with a major relocation. And certainly not during a time of an epidemic. But I believe I have found definitely a jewel in the Valley at the dental facility of Dr. Naik in Glendale, AZ. Her office is a facility with the latest equipment, a warm and friendly environment and most of all with the most friendly and loving professionals working for her. I realized I was "tortured" for the last 24 years and now Dr. Naik and her extraordinary staff will restore and address all my dental problems with the utmost care and professionalism. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Naik has saved me once again. I needed emergency oral surgery and she took great care of me like she has for more than 20 years. It was her day off, on a holiday weekend and after hours. Dr Naik never skipped a beat. Kind and highly skilled, she conducted a difficult procedure removing a damaged molar. The next day I had no pain whatsoever. After oral surgery this is unheard of but no surprise to me. I have never experienced any pain after being treated by Dr. Naik. Not only is she highly skilled, she is a beautiful soul. Do yourself a great service and meet her. You will not be disappointed.

I didn’t realize a trip to the dentist could feel so luxurious ,from the smells to the music even the underwater scenes on the tv. I tried other dentists due to insurance changes, however I went back to them and paid out of pocket at times because of the level of care I received. Experiencia fantástica: Update 4/2025: Dr. Naik continues to be my amazing and trusted dentist. I refer her to anyone I talk to has been burned by bad dentistry in the past. She truly cares about her patients and is so thoughtful. She does not push unneeded treatments on you and takes the time to educate when treatment is necessary. I’ve recently had to have two crowns done and am currently undergoing Invisalign treatment. The crowns were not fun, naturally, but Dr Naik and her team made it as comfortable as possible. As she will be sure to remind you - this should be pain free! Invisalign with the team has also been great. Plenty of education and thoughtful adjustments as needed. Previous review: Dr. Naik and her amazing staff are completely incredible. I am a person who absolutely despises going to the dentist. But here I feel completely at ease and comfortable every minute. Jahnna (I hope I spelled it correctly!) is my normal hygienist and she is so kind! Very thorough while also being gentle and informative. She always has helpful tips on how to use different approaches in my routine for better results. I really enjoy her and feel at ease when she is working on my teeth. The only thing I REALLY hate about cleanings is the scraping part. Well, if you have any anxiety at all, you are offered a pair of headphones and can choose a show on Netflix to watch from the tv that is mounted on the ceiling above your chair! Such a nice touch. Just a great distraction and a way to cut out the clinical noises that may bother you. Dr. Naik herself is also very thorough and kind. Her interactions do no feel rushed at all and I must say she has a very calming presence. She took the time to explain a particular issue with one of my teeth on my recent visit and explained warning signs to look out for. I completely trust her and am so thankful I found her practice. Speaking of trust - this is not one of those offices that will suddenly find a million things wrong with your teeth that must be fixed. I have had several friends have issues with borderline fraudulent recommendations from area big box dentist offices. Dr. Naik’s office genuinely cares about your dental health and has never recommended any unnecessary procedures for me. It really does feel like you are being cared for by family in this office. P.s. The decor is really cool too! Lots of interesting international art and somehow feels upscale without being pretentious. I know it’s a long review but I have never liked a dentist before! Would recommend to anyone.

When she was done, she offered advice on how I should take care of my teeth between visits. Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this dentist to anyone! I had a terrible experience. There is a huge lack of communication with the staff. I have caught the front desk employees in more than one lie. Each time I went they said they verified benefits and cost for treatment, I paid hundreds of dollars, and then still got a bill for hundreds more. Each time my mouth was examined I magically had more cavities appear ( literally from one week to the next, I had more appear). Either the dentist has very poor assessment and diagnosis skills, or she was just making things up. The one filling they did complete was a terrible experience and I’m still experiencing pain (2 months later). The dentist examined my mouth the day I had my first cleaning and didn’t even know I was new to the practice. Just shows she didn’t review my chart before seeing me. The day I went for a filling no one even knew why I was there, not the front desk, assistant, or dentist. They thought I was there for a follow-up to my deep cleaning. I had already had my follow-up done. My last appointment I left sobbing. I can’t believe they have had so many positive reviews lately. My experience as awful! Stay away from this place!

Experiencia fantástica: I loved every moment of my experience with this dentist from the moment I scheduled to the moment I showed up in their office. Everything was done thoroughly. They answered my questions made me feel comfortable and most of all were attentive. I recommend it.

Experiencia negativa: Unfortunately, they didn’t resolve my issue and sent me away still in pain, suggesting that I get a crown. That same day, I found another clinic and went there in an urgent condition. They replaced the filling and were able to save my tooth. In fact, they didn’t even recommend a crown, as it wouldn’t have been a good option given my dental condition. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t personally recommend Desert Sky. The doctors are too young, and less experienced. They even don’t know what the restoration is. It felt like they were more focused on making money than truly helping.

I’ve witness multiple staff members turn over like a mill here, there is no long standing front office or respect to associate doctors or even dental assistants. I have ran into the office waiting for my appointment and overheard Dr. Naik raising her voice And slamming counters yelling at her employees. Very unprofessional.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Naik does wonderful work and is an artist with her crowns! I am very particular about my crowns (as I have had quite a few in the past with other dentists and I was not as pleased at all.) My 2 crowns with Dr Naik look like normal healthy and beautiful teeth- the color is perfect!! I came to see her again the other day as it looked like I might need to have a tooth pulled. (First time needing to do that, caused by a cracked root in an old root canal.) She was able to get me to the periodontist the same day, miraculously! We thought the tooth was going to be pulled, same day, but alas, he only had time for the first review to see what needed to be done. It’s scheduled. But Dr Naik called me that evening, also thinking that I had gone through the procedure. She wanted to check up on me and see how I was feeling!! I am so impressed with Dr Naik and her concern and follow up! She is an amazing dentist, and she works too hard. And I am very grateful for her care. I recommend Dr Naik to anyone looking for excellent dentistry. You will be in truly wonderful hands. Thank you Dr. Naik!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a 2 hour appt today and I had Dr. Ibraham and her assistant. They were both great. I am very sensitive to pain and that was addressed immediately. I have been a patient for about 6 years and I am so glad I found them. Everyone here is so courteous. I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist due to a bad childhood experience when I was 12. I was up front with Dr. Naik from the beginning and she addressed them and I don’t fear going to her. So important to take care of your teeth. Anyone I have referred to Dr. Naik has been very happy to find her. She’s the best.

I can’t imagine when Dr Sheila Naik eats lunch as she seems to be caring for patient or staff needs, 24/7. Her staff is held to a high standard and they obviously think the world of her. She always seems to be training her staff or with patients. She has never been too busy to answer questions by phone or in person. I think so highly of her skill as a dentist; she is always eager to learn new methods, honing her skills, donating her time to the disadvantaged who can’t afford to see a dentist, or attending to her patients of all ages. She is a TREASURE!!! Another treasure is the very capable Tanya, my hygienist. It’s rare when anyone is a good listener these days, but Tanya is. She knows exactly what she is doing, and does it well. She is so thorough, gives informed advice, and I leave happy ( with gleaming teeth).

Experiencia fantástica: I just moved to Arizona and had to leave my childhood dentist (same dentist for 22 years). I did not realize what I was missing out on! Desert Sky Dentistry is beautiful. The environment is always happy and friendly (thanks to the kind front desk ladies). They have the most up to date technology and have great knowledge to share with their clients. Everything is clean and organized and just top notch. Tanya is absolutely wonderful. She makes my teeth cleanings enjoyable and I always walk away learning something new about dental hygiene from her. All the Doctors are so nice and have proven to be excellent at what they do. Experiencia negativa: From the beginning, I specified that it was important for Desert Sky to validate my insurance prior to all appointments and give me exact out of pocket cost so that I could decide if I wanted to proceed with any treatments. I was told my insurance was validated after I provided all the needed info, and I agreed to the costs provided to me before each treatment since the pricing was good. Months after multiple visits, the office sent me a statement for an additional ~$1,000 due because Desert Sky did not correctly validate my insurance and they believed the difference should be my responsibility. This statement also included charges for follow up care after a couple return visits to re-fill some cavities that apparently did not bond right and were causing pain (I was told that it would not be charged to me). After much back and forth, my account was finally cleared. However the whole experience was very poor, and I no longer trust the staff to accurately communicate costs and stand by their word.

Experiencia negativa: I was very disappointed in my experience after my last cleaning. I was charged $425.00. I had had a change in my dental insurance and was not told that Aetna is not in their network so once my insurance paid $207.00 I am being billed for the test. I would have appreciated being told upfront that they were out of network and been informed of their elevated fees. I have never had to pay for normal preventative dental. Needless to say I will no longer be going to this office- the office staff is not transparent.

Experiencia fantástica: We always get excellent service. The doctor and her staff always attempt to accommodate our needs when necessary. Today was no exception. Our granddaughter had serious pain in the back of her mouth, but her own dentist could not see her for another 3 weeks. We asked the doctor if she at least assess the issue and give us some direction. She not only did that, she took care of the problem assessing a new molar issue and an infection. She was able to help relieve the pain and give some relevant advice to keep things in the right direction. We always get great service; today was no exception.

Tanya, my dental hygienist, was gentle and took her time to explain the questions I had as she was working on my teeth as well as giving me tips on keeping my smile from not looking like a cave man.  Tanya is an All-Star and is super sweet.  Dr. Sheila Naik came highly recommended from a family member and was wonderful and thoughtful making sure I fully understood the concerns she had regarding my teeth and gums.  The recommendations she made were not pushed on me and I felt very comfortable that she was looking out for my best interest.  I walked out of the office with clean teeth, a plan to correct a few issues and a new dentist to life.  Thanks for a great experience everyone at Desert Sky Dentistry!

My last visit they actually asked if I had breakfast because I was going to be numb for a while. I hadn’t had breakfast so they offered me a protein shake. Dr. Naik worked with a team to help me achieve a new smile and healthy jaw through braces and implants.
