Experiencia negativa: My daughter and I moved here from out of state and she’s needing to transfer care since she currently has braces. I looked on Google and came across this place so I schedule her a consult based on the reviews. When we got there the team wasn’t aware she already had braces, but I informed the person who scheduled the consult that she does and we need to transfer care. When I got back to the room with her, the doc, and the assistant to talk about costs and treatment it was very unpleasant and uncomfortable in my opinion. Dr. Jake Mann didn’t introduce himself to myself or my daughter, which made her not want to deal with him and my daughter is 16 so she’s very aware. He wasn’t welcoming just seemed money hungry and that he wanted to hurry up and leave (as we were the last appointment of the day). He told us she’d need 2 more years of treatment which we already knew due to the fact her previous doctor quoted treatment for 3 years and she’s had her braces on for a little over a year. I already had a feeling they would have to change the wires because they probably don’t have experience with the ones she currently has which her previous doctor gave us a heads up on before moving here. But, the fact that this place is incredibly expensive and then you get a non welcoming doctor is not okay. Dr. Jake was rushing like he had somewhere else to be when going over the treatment and after he was done didn’t say bye, have a nice day, or anything. I was quoted 2 years of treatment at a higher price than what I was quoted for 3 years of treatment in Washington State when we first started. I pretty much would have been paying over $8000 out of pocket for 2 years of treatment, mind you I’ve already paid $2400. My daughter said she didn’t like the doctor’s energy and wants to look for somewhere else. As we were walking out the door we saw Dr. Jake rushing out to get in his car smh. I provided this feedback to the assistant while we were still there going over the treatment and also provided this feedback when they text me a week later asking to schedule, but I’m not surprised that no one has apologized or anything for how he made not just me but mostly importantly my daughter who would have possibly been a patient feel..

Experiencia negativa: They are extremely expensive, I wish I would’ve considered other options for my son. They charge you for EVERY LITTLE THING $50 or more. They are nice as long as your payments are up to date. Miss a payment and the ladies in the front treat you like crap. At both Ft. Lauderdale locations. They will call you out in front of other patients “when are u going to make a payment” as loud as possible. Since I’m contracted with them I have no choice but to pay almost $5000+ with all the hidden fees (which I was quoted $4000). I found so many other orthodontist ranging from $2,300-3,200, no extra fees. Definitely a huge regret.

Experiencia negativa: I would definitely get a second opinion before coming here, I came here back in 2023 and was quoted over $4,000 for 12-18 months of treatment, this is not a normal amount to quote which I had no idea, these scammers still got my $500 but nothing more, beware. I’m currently on a treatment plan of 24 months with my new Ortho and total cost $2,465.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible customer service! They get you in asap to take your money for Invisalign than when you need an appointment to get the Invisalign they can’t accommodate you. I try to schedule the kids when they know they’re in school in the mornings. I try to get an appointment for the Invisalign that came in and they wanted to put me off a month. Go somewhere else you only be disappointed with the hassle.

At age 62 I did not think I would be a good candidate but All my concerns were addressed and I now am on my first trays of Invisalign. Staff is responsive and helpful. Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing! While on vacation my daughter had an issue with her braces. It was causing her a lot of discomfort. She was absolutely miserable. As we were driving around, my husband decided to take her into this office. He wasn’t sure how he and my daughter would be received, since my daughter was not their patient. They welcomed them with open arms. My husband and daughter could not stop talking about the kindness they received and how great everyone was. My daughter was so happy and relieved, and she was able to get back to enjoying our vacation. Vacation is always better when you can actually enjoy eating all the great food! I drive over 3 hours once a month just not to change dentists because they are that great!! Mrs Jessica is the kindest, patient, simply most incredible human ever. I can honestly say I have never had this experience at Margate but Broward Blvd is just as bad or worse than the former office. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

From the dental plan all the way to the finances. They have reasonable financial plans for you. I checked out two places for my daughter braces. But when I came here I knew this was the place for her. I’m so happy and pleased that I chose them for my daughter dental care.

Experiencia negativa: I got braces from Eastside orthodontist May 2021 and had about 4-5 treatments until one day they stopped taking payments from my account and when I tried reaching out to them they never got back to me as they would until recently I received a letter in the mail saying I’m back on payments and have been removed from their office. So now I have to sit with the braces in my mouth til I find an orthodontist to continue treatment.

Experiencia negativa: I had an invisilign treatment with Dr Ferrer which was a disaster that was completed in 2021. Immediately when Dr. Ferrer said to stop using the invisilign and let the bite to settle I lost a tooth that did not have even a cavity and was told I may loose another one that I am monitoring. The pain did not let me sleep for a month and I had to stop using them after 8 months completely due to the pain. Also I am in risk of loosing teeth that never stop feeling pain even though the pain has been diminishing since I stopped using them after 8 months of pain. The 1 star is mainly for the lack of humanity , bad dental recommendation she gave me, lack of common sense and responsibility from Dr. Ferrer. I am consulting with another orthodontist that I had to consult her because Dr Ferrer said it did was not orthontic issues but the pain was reduced when I stop following her recommendation. I was so much in doubt on what to do because I did trusted Dr Ferrer my treatment and she broke the trust. Her recommendations and treatment hurt my mouth health.

Experiencia positiva: Update: 01/31/2022: I posted my honest review here and the office reached out. I was a bit hesitant, to give them another shot, but I did. They offered to have me go into the royal palm office to fix the cement issue, so I booked an appointment and just completed the checkup. The office was amazing, so organized, and fixed the problem. So thankful. I've had cement on my teeth for months (that the fort Lauderdale office refused to remove, said it was "fine" as it was). This was a different office that fixed the issue, so can't speak to Fort Lauderdale, but thankful they rectified the issue for me. I don't think I would recommend the Fort Lauderdale location (all experiences bad) but I like that cooper reached out to me, and had me come in to fix their mistake free of charge. Original review: Was so thankful to be done with my Invisalign here. I enjoy the results but wow, it was so painful working with this organization. So disorganized, appointments rescheduled often, staff totally clueless as to what the plan is... Not good. Wouldn't recommend.

I remember when I first started my treatment plan last year and I had my 2 kids with me. They were so patient with me and even helped me with them and played with them .it meant a lot to me I was overwhelmed. Even with the craziness they always make sure to make a quick conversation they answer most of the time. I couldn't be any happier.

Experiencia negativa: The worst, most unprofessional orthodontist office I have ever been to. My son started his treatment in March of 2018. We paid a 700.00 deposit and began monthly payments. As a retired/disabled combat army veteran, I receive dental insurance. Because the military changed insurance companies before they filed a claim but after treatment started, the orthodontist office said that my insurance didn't cover already started work. First, they dropped the ball for waiting to file the claim. Second, my insurance company does cover work in progress tricare retirees. We've explained this multiple times. They turned my son away for an appointment, they began screening our calls after multiple messages from us and my insurance company. They are refusing treatment even though they did not complete it. Today is July 13, 2020 and they still do not return my calls. My insurance company has called and left messages. My son has a huge metal bracket to the roof of his mouth and they can't even answer the phone. We've paid over two thousand dollars, approximately 2400.00 and what my insurance would cover would put us overpaying. I have contacted the Florida health department to file a formal written complaint against this office. I am also filing a formal written complaint again the orthodontist's license. This is patient abandonment. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

The doctor and staff are super nice and accommodating with appointments. The assistant Kata is amazing and tons of patience. Experiencia negativa: So far so good. It would great if they would have an email address on their website. I submitted a question via the form -- no reply. [Update] I simply asked what email address I can send a question to -- apparently they don't use email. Now I am regretting giving them thousands of dollars. -- Instead of sending my question via email, in private, I'm forced to ask my question in public in hope to get an answer... do you sell VPro5 devices? -- VERY DISAPPOINTED
