The dentist and staff were very professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. On top of that, their pricing was fair and transparent. Highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: I am leaving this review because my recent experience at this clinic was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately very similar to my wife’s experience. My wife and I had both been to this clinic in the past, when it was under the previous ownership, and at that time we were satisfied with the quality of care. That is why I returned. Unfortunately, under the new ownership, the experience was completely different. I came in for a cleaning, and the cleaning was done very poorly by the same specialist who treated my wife. The quality was clearly below basic expectations. They did not even floss my teeth during the cleaning, which was surprising and unacceptable for a professional dental visit. After that, I was also presented with a treatment plan totaling more than $2,000, with multiple dental issues that I was told needed to be addressed. Because my wife had just gone through a very similar situation at this same office, I decided not to rely on that diagnosis alone and went to an independent dentist for a second opinion. That second dentist did not confirm the problems I had been told I needed to treat at this clinic. Based on that experience, I was left with serious concerns about the accuracy of the diagnosis and the overall quality of care being provided here. It is especially concerning that both my wife and I had nearly the same experience: poor-quality cleanings, significant treatment plans, and then very different findings from independent dentists afterward. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this clinic under the current ownership. I strongly encourage anyone who is given an expensive treatment plan here to seek a second opinion before agreeing to treatment. I hope the owners take a serious look at the current staff, treatment standards, and the overall approach to patient care.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic under the new ownership. About a year ago, when the clinic was under the previous owner, Zarina, I had extensive dental work done there and was satisfied with the doctors and the quality of care at that time. That positive experience is the reason I returned. When I recently came in for a routine cleaning, I immediately noticed that the ownership, doctors, and staff had changed. Unfortunately, my experience this time was completely different. First, I paid $150 for a cleaning, and in my opinion it was done very poorly. A noticeable amount of tartar was still left on my teeth afterward. I was unhappy with the quality of the cleaning itself. Second, during the visit, the staff member initially struggled to complete standard X-rays, and another employee had to step in. That made me question the level of training and professionalism in the office. After reviewing my X-rays and examining my teeth, the doctor presented me with a treatment plan totaling approximately $6,471, which included multiple cavities, a root canal, replacement of a relatively new veneer, crowns, and other treatment. Because this was such a serious and expensive diagnosis — especially considering that I had major dental work done less than a year ago — I decided to get a second opinion from another independent dentist just two days later. That second dentist found no cavities and no urgent issues requiring the extensive treatment I had been told I needed. I was also told that the cleaning I had just received at this clinic appeared to have been done poorly, and I ended up paying for another cleaning elsewhere. I am sharing this because I believe other patients should be cautious and seek a second opinion before agreeing to expensive treatment recommendations here. Based on my personal experience, this office now feels much more sales-driven than patient-centered, which is very upsetting given how different the clinic used to be. I can no longer recommend this location, and I hope the owners seriously review the quality of care, staff training, and diagnostic standards in this office.

I got a free coffee but the only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t use the lead apron or thyroid protector when doing my x-rays and I didn’t get the little goodie bag with a toothbrush and some toothpaste and floss. Besides that like I said it was an alright dental experience.

Experiencia negativa: I had a very bad and unsafe experience at this office. The dentist was extremely rough — she pinched my arm, pushed my face, and handled my lips aggressively, causing pain. She applied the anesthesia cream so roughly that it went down my throat. I kindly asked her to be gentle, but she ignored me and continued treating me with no care. I stopped the treatment because I didn’t feel safe, and the manager offered no help. I do not recommend this place.

Experiencia negativa: The secretaries are so salty and sour ! Especially the Maniger of the office! They know nothing about service only about the money! We felt like they didn’t do professional job at all since the cavity they done was falling off after few days! Also they were very late for the appointment by 45 minutes they never even apologized for! I think for that amount of money we would defiantly find much nicer ppl and better service and more affordable than this and especially more professional ! I hope Jenifer the owner will find better workers than those!

Experiencia fantástica: I followed Dr Schuetz from his plantation office. He is straightforward and through with his diagnosis, he doesn't sell you. Each procedure he treated me for, both he and his staff Shyda and Natalie are both professional and pleasantly attentive. You feel like a relative that they are giving their most insightful intentional. Dental visit is seamless and stress free and very sensible affordable. I will be a life long patient of DR Schuetz.

I have severe anxiety, especially when it comes to the dentist, and I’ve never felt so good after a visit!! I got 4 fillings, a crown, and a tooth extracted over 2 days. When it was time for the 2nd day of work, I was so excited to go back!! Everyone, from the front of house staff to the back of house, was SO kind, considerate, and understanding. No one made me feel BAD for having all of the issues I previously had. And not to mention, I haven’t been this confident in my smile in over 3 years! Dr. Shuetz and his team are just INCREDIBLE. I can’t thank them enough for giving me my smile back!!! I left the office Friday afternoon sobbing tears of joy! If you too suffer with anxiety, look no further!!! This office won’t disappoint :)))

They really do an excellent job & it was my understanding that it's a family business across the field, including appliance making. I recently took my daughter here for services outside the scope of pediatric dentistry and we were not disappointed. They treat everyone with respect and focus on your oral health. There's no pressure or judgement. I suppose if you want to be coddled, you can go pay extra for that elsewhere. They get you taken care of and in very good amount of time. If shame or cost is keeping you from seeking dental care, don't do it to yourself. Make the call before it gets too late and your health (and also costs) get worse for you.

Experiencia negativa: Went in because one of my teeth had gotten infected and had an abscess. It swelled up my jaw so bad they couldnt do the xray. So they did try to clear the infection, came back 1 week later only to not address my concern about the broken tooth and infection. They slammed me at first with some $500 cleaning then 2 choices of either preserving some of my teeth or implants both options over $20k. The worst part is I trusted Dr Perez. I heard them speak in Spanish something Aspen Dental. That was totally unprofessional. This was also the day where none of their systems was working and I got a handwritten estimate. I ended having to choose a different dentist because Dr Perez missed something on the xray that was causing my problem. This place is the reason why people distrust dentists because they try to pad the bill and milk their customers. Who in this economy can shell out $20k. Im aware of how bad my teeth are but lets not try to push $20k treatment plans. This place is just as bad as Aspen Dental. Never again.

The Drs (specifically Dr Mara and Dr Alonso) have excellent bed side manners and make the time to hear you and address the clients needs. Nelsa is also top notch and she always presents herself in a professional and upbeat manner. The entire staff is great and I will continue to be a patient even long after the teeth are lined up! Thank you Affordable Dentistry. Update- I would like to speak with the person above the office manager at this location. Very disappointed with my last visit and then my follow up phone call. Office manager listens only to formulate a response vs use common courtesy and customer service to find a solution. Not good for business and certainly not good for a business reliant on a cx service. updated 3/27/25- Affordable dentistry and the office manager Amanda was able to resolve my issue. It did take some time but after their consideration, we are on the right path now. I will continue to go to my appointments and certainly hope this last review/experience is not the norm. He is exceptionally personable, realistic, and skilled enough to tailor treatments and diagnostics to your specific needs and budget. I was also impressed by the dental hygienist in his attention to detail. Also, it's noteworthy that neither Dr. Eric nor the hygienist were in any way pushy at all about any procedures.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was my first visit with this office and I was very pleased with my visit. I am very terrified of the dentist due to a past situation that happened with me as a child. However I have been to a couple different dental offices. I did try playing dentist on myself to remove my own tooth. Doing this I ended up breaking teeth in my mouth. I shopped around going to many different offices who pretty much tried charging me an arm and leg. None of these offices offered to clean my teeth. And I have asked, they were more interested in setting up a dental plan. I came to affordable dental. They checked me out. The doctor was very nice and straightforward, he explained everything to me. He took his time with me. Got my dental plan that is very reasonable and they cleaned my teeth. Shaira cleaned my teeth, she was amazing and very gentle. I can’t wait to go back to continue with my plan.

Experiencia negativa: The front desk person that they have for 12/19/2024 has lack of care for the patient arriving at the front the desk ( so much different it used to be very nice welcome) She took an hour to answer a billing question that I had , because she was taken a coffee and playing around ist the computer. I didn't know that she was the same one that text me and answered me questions about the refund few month ago with lack professionalism ( I still have dies text) .Last year I had service in the that Office and I move to another dental Office because they took to much time to deliver a crown . After many complains of my part because the crown did not fit propetly ( to bulky, color not match, wrong shape and wrong fit to my gum). They rather wait for a complain in orden to deliver an acceptable job. They suppouse to be e the expert and they should care to deliver a great product to His patient. I do not recomend this Dental clínic because the pride to provide a great care and service is not part of their key component of the service they provide.

I haven’t been to a more affordable office and ive been to three different offices in the SOFLO area. Staff is really nice. Dr Eric is really laid back and easy to converse issues and concerns with. Overall i can comfortably recommend this office for your dental needs. Oh and i have to give a shout out to Misael (the hygienist) for giving me two of the best most comfortable cleanings ever. Experiencia negativa: if you’re looking for fraud, this is the place for you! this office regularly steals clients from the neighboring office. my partner walked in saying his name and appointment time and they said they had him in the books, while his real dentist waited two doors down. sadly, they didn’t think they would get caught this time. to make things better, they saw my (new patient) partner while having no doctor on the premises. unfortunately, that is illegal. when confronted about their illegal activity, they proceeded to resort to basic racism, “do you even understand me?” when confronted by bilingual people, despite being a bilingual office. to top things off, they had the gall to charge him $40 for a fluoride rinse. don’t waste time with a dishonest, immoral, criminal company. visit Dental Excellence in suite D for GOOD work, compassionate and honest people, and a $20 fluoride rinse.

I barely have to wait for my appointment and they take care of whatever I need to do rather quickly. Nelsa and Ady are always there and take good care of me or any patient. Experiencia fantástica: My mouth was a mess. After a dental group(s) in Kendall dragged out my care & made my dental problems worse. Then a dentist at UM ignored my problems. All of this dragged on almost 4 years, and almost cost my life due to health issues caused by dental problems. BUT, JUST 3-4 MONTHS WITH AFFORDABLE DENTAL, DR. ERIC & ALL OFFICE STAFF, MY PROBLEMS ARE ALMOST OVER! THANK YOU AFFORDABLE DENTAL.

Experiencia negativa: See below my second review; Don't be deceived by the name Affordable! They tried charging $7,000 for one set of top dentures! Oh, they will apply to get you a loan with interest, so maybe that's what they're talking about? But in the end, 10K FOR DENTURES! Go elsewhere! Also, they don't have anything to make you comfortable because the owner is afraid of being sued. So I had to suffer through my first, and last, appointment. Continued...... Don't believe their response. The only numbers Iever heard were above 6K. And now its suddenly half the proce because of my review? There wasn't anything less than that. I came in just one tooth missing in the front that I needed fixed for start. The next thing I know, it was going to cost over 10K, at a minimum of 6.5K. They weren't willing to work with me except get a loan with crazy interest rate! And again, I was so uncomfortable, but they don't offer any gas or sedation because they might be sued. To tell a client that is crazy. Go elsewhere. You'll be happier!

Not only do they behave like one family, they also treated me like they are all interested in me getting the best care. I really appreciate that. What stood out to me most, was the experience that I had during the cleaning. Shaida cleaned my teeth, and all through the process I was thinking "this is the most comfortable I have been during a cleaning". Not that it is usually painful, but something about the way she did it was so gentle and relaxing. I had to mention it to her as soon as she was done. Great job Shaida!!! My teeth and I feel really good as a result of your work. I look forward to seeing you at my next appointment, which by the way is another thing I like about this office. I went in for a cleaning and mentioned a concern about my teeth. Right away they started the process of looking into my concern and seeing if and how it can be fixed. I really like them already. In my experience today, I agree with the positive reviews.

Experiencia positiva: i came in on a monday afternoon to get an tooth extraction i was so nervous and so close to an panic attack but the nurse was so comforting and helpful. Dshai held my hand the whole procedure & played music to calm me down. Dr. Stanley did the surgery and was very quick & prompt, you can tell he’s very secure with his work.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to this office a few times, and I've always left feeling great about the services and prices. This morning my dentist spent a long time cleaning my teeth and the staff were very friendly. If I had to pick one flaw it would be that the dentist quoted me $40 for the floride varnish at the end of the cleaning, and when I went to check out at the front desk they said it was $70 on top of the cleaning price. $30 is not a big deal and I would have still gotten the service, but hopefully they will correct that miscommunication for future patients. Overall, I'll be returning to this office for my next cleaning :) thank you!

Everyone was so friendly and made me very comfortable. After calling around getting quotes I went here it was about 2-300$ less than others which is a big deal when you're paying without insurance. It seems that you guys don’t comprehend When a patient is in pain. You have not tried everything apparently or my dad would be comfortable eating on a daily basis. It has been 8 months of abuse for my father, Who has suffered at your hands. My dad has lost Over 65 lbs and he was skinny to begin with. Is the fact that my father is in constant pain A joke to you guys?? You call placing 2 screws so close together professional? You think he comes to you to remove it because he feels like it ?? Are you listening to yourself?? What professional dentist tells a patient to deal with it and that he can’t do anything more?? Is my father a dentist?? You call my father almost choking on loose screws you left in his mouth professional? You call 3 dentists that I took him to to get help say all the same thing. That he’s in pain because of the bone and the screws NOT the teeth. How many times can a person tell you he’s in pain??? How many??? If this was your father, would you call him a liar? Would you say stay in pain your only 76 losing weight is good for you??would you tell your father he doesn’t comprehend? I have documented his abuse and the proper authorities will have the discovery. You’re not above the law. But thank you for the screw you we got paid $34000 and still no teeth and no solution email. Dr Eric was my second opinion and found that all I had was a piece of food that was trapped near the tooth and inflaming the gum. There was no dental work even required and he was honest enough to tell me that. I had gone to Aspen Dental on University Drive who wanted to charge me almost $7,000 with $2,600 being just for cleaning and dental work I didn't even need. 5 stars for Dr. Eric for his professionalism, old-fashioned trustworthy care and sincere honesty. This guy saved me a ton of money.

Martika and everyone at the front desk were so nice and welcoming, those who did my x-rays were very nice, my dental hygienist was excellent and very informative and made me feel relaxed and calm, and educated me and answered any questions I had. And Dr. Eric was also very friendly and welcoming. They will let you know what treatment you need done, what your insurance will cover, and the cost of your specific treatment. Overall it was a positive and great experience, I would definitely recommend them.

Each time I’ve been met with an incredibly kind and helpful staff. Making sure I was comfortable, keeping the energy light when I was nervous for my procedure, it was so nice. Any questions I had I was able to text and get immediate responses or at least acknowledgement. I love how sweet everyone is. The first place I went to gave me a treatment plan estimate for $20k and there was no urgency to help me with the pain I was having. Dr. Eric and his team's treatment plan was $5k (they helped me get a line of credit, 18 mo. no interest) and they got me in the same week as my initial exam to solve my pain issue. I had 5 teeth extracted in one sitting. That's where I saw Dr. Eric's 26 years of experience shine through. He did it in 10 minutes after I was numb. No issues! Everyone in the office is super nice and helpful. Reception, the dental assistants & the hygienist are all great!
