The staff is kind and professional, and my hygienist is gentle, quick, and still very thorough (a rare and appreciated combo). They somehow manage to make an experience I normally dread completely tolerable—and even crack a smile or two along the way. If you have to go to the dentist, this is definitely the place to do it.

I went through a couple of them just for cleanings and wasn't very satisfied. I found Dr. Welch. He and his team took such good care of me. They redid my TMJ splint so that I have full movement in my neck, and redid my retainer on my bottom teeth. They are wonderful at cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Welch.

I needed a deep cleaning, 8 fillings and my top 8 teeth capped. I’m a huge baby when it comes to the dentist and I was totally nervous. But Dr. Welsh was fantastic! He’s the best of the best absolutely pain free and my caps are gorgeous!!! I’ve never in my 44yrs been this happy with a dentist! My hygienist is Kathryn she’s phenomenal super gentle, knowledgeable and keeps my smile white and healthy. If you’re looking for the BEST when it comes to the dentist this is your place. Seriously check them out you will not be disappointed!!!

Experiencia negativa: Challenges first started when it was determined I would need two implants during my first appointment. Chiquita Dental does not have a dental surgeon so they referred me to a different office. After my initial visit to that office and learning the cost, I obtained a 2nd opinion and received a price several thousand dollars cheaper, so I went with the 2nd dental provider. Chiquita Dental did not seem at all happy with my actions based on the demeanor of the hygienist during my next visit. In addition, I'm not sure what specific conversations occurred between Chiquita and the dental surgeon's office, but it turned out to be a very awkward situation for both me and the dental surgeon. The dental surgeons office did nothing wrong in my opinion. It appeared clear that Chiquita valued their relationships with other dental offices much more than they cared about me getting cost effective dental care. Chiquita also appears to use a model I have not seen before where the hygienist actually acts as the dentist. She reads x-rays, communicates treatment plans, etc. The actual dentist appears to just bop his head in to say hi. I don't have a problem with this model per se since it appears the hygienist knew her stuff. However, what I am concerned about is the fact that both cleanings I had seemed quick and inadequate, especially the 2nd one. I've had plenty of teeth cleanings throughout the years, and it is easy to tell a thorough teeth cleaning from a less than thorough cleaning. In my opinion, the hygienist appears to spend more time being a dentist than a hygienist. I planned to go back one last time to get a cleaning, before switching to a different dentist office. This was due to timing and insurance issues related to not wanting to switch dentists twice. I had set up an appointment a couple months earlier and had requested a different hygienist - one that would hopefully give me a thorough cleaning. After waiting a couple months for the appointment to come, I was called 76 minutes before my appointment telling me they were cancelling the appointment. They couldn't have done this sooner? My understanding is that if I cancelled the appointment less than 48 hours, I would have been on the hook for payment. They cancelled the appointment 76 minutes ahead of time with no repercussions.

Experiencia fantástica: I broke a tooth on the way to Cape Coral from the easr coast of Florida. It was late on a Friday afternoon and I walked into the office at 4. Dr Rivera was in hr car ready to leave when they caught her and she came back into the office and smoothed my rough tooth down so I didnt have to deal with it all weekend. Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency. I bit into a carrot and my molar broke! I had a consultation with Dr. Riveria and her tech Jovanni. The gentleness, caring and professionalism were above and beyond. I came back one week later to have the problem tooth removed. Once again absolutely the best dental experience I have had in years. Jovanni helped me work through my high dental fear so Dr. Riveria could do her job. I cannot say enough good things for this wonderful team.

Experiencia negativa: I called this place to make an appointment as I was referred by someone I work with . I called and was told they have a $49 cleaning and $139 comprehensive exam . This one had no availability so I was told they can schedule me at Midpoint Dental since they are sister companies. I proceeded to answer the health questions and I was told by the receptionist I was scheduled for a cleaning. However midpoint gave me grief and said I was scheduled for a cavity and what Chiquita told me was false .And now I keep getting the run around with the Chiquita dental as no one can seem to help answer why I was told such things.

Experiencia negativa: She was setting up to take xrays. Put the mouth in and said bite down. As she walked away she tripped over the cord. Yanking my bad neck to the right. Almost pulled my teeth out of my mouth. Causing muscle spasms from my ear to my jaw and down to my shoulder. Still bothering me now! She did a good job cleaning. But it wasn't worth the pain I'm still in! It was accidental. But I didn't go there for more neck pain!

He fixed a crown I had done by two dentists in Colorado Springs, both separate efforts, both unsatisfactory—gap problems. He fixed my gap problem, now I have minimal issues getting food trapped between my teeth at the gum line. His replacement crowns for my two additional teeth teeth are perfect! He’s a tooth artist and engineer!
