Experiencia fantástica: McGregor Dental is by far the best dentist practice I’ve been to yet. They are trustworthy, affordable and always there for an emergency. Dr. Bourne has helped my entire family, myself and partner better our oral hygiene!

Experiencia negativa: Front desk needs help I guess, I scheduled my appointment about 2 weeks ago, I get there at 7:40am and they tell me that since I didn’t confirm my appointment they gave it to someone else. My appointment was reserved, as you can see in the pictures. I’m very disappointed and frustrated. They weren’t going to give me my appointment so I had to walk away very sad, please get things under control as other people on these reviews aren’t happy either, teeth aren’t something to mess around about so giving away appointments to help your pocket bc you’re “unsure” if I’ll come only bc you have not heard from me. Very unprofessional and not welcoming at all.

Experiencia negativa: Disappointing Experience — Deceptive Billing Practices I scheduled a dental hygiene appointment with coverage verified in advance through Delta Dental. Upon being seated, the office manager intervened and demanded I also undergo a dental exam at an additional out-of-pocket cost of $120 — a charge that had not been disclosed during scheduling or insurance verification. When I questioned the charge, the interaction became uncomfortable and decidedly unprofessional. I ultimately left without receiving treatment. What followed confirmed my suspicions: I booked the same cleaning and hygiene appointment at another dental office, where it was covered in full by my Delta Dental insurance — exactly as it should have been. No surprise fees, no pressure tactics, no additional charges. This confirmed that the $120 demand at this office was not a legitimate insurance requirement, but rather an unjustified and deceptive add-on charge. Beyond the billing concerns, I also noted that the facility's equipment appeared dated and the overall cleanliness of the treatment area fell below what I'd expect from a healthcare setting. I'd strongly encourage prospective patients to verify the complete scope and cost of any visit in writing before arriving. My experience — and what I later confirmed elsewhere — suggests a pattern of billing practices that do not align with standard insurance agreements. I won't be returning, and I'd caution others to explore their options carefully before booking here.

From Missy at the front desk, to Rogelio who did my cleaning, and of course Dr. Bourne, everyone was professional, kind, organized, & accommodating. A special thank you to Rogelio! He was thorough, gentle, professional, knowledgeable, kind & has a great personality! He made the entire experience comfortable & I didn’t dread every moment. Truly the best dental hygienists I’ve ever had! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My husband originally came here after another local dentist told him he needed $800 worth of unnecessary work. McGregor Dental is honest, trustworthy, and excellent at what they do. So grateful we found them!

Experiencia negativa: Cleaning tools quit working during initial visit and was told they would reschedule. After a month I called and reminded them I still needed to be seen. Very negative - was told “they had to see which teeth they could save”. Saw a specialist (periodontist) said this was absolutely not the case. Would NEVER recommend this office

Experiencia negativa: I got 3 crowns from this place and the dentist who worked on them I thought was great at what he did, I never had problem with chewing from the crowns I got from him, he is retired though but I was literally saying good things about him and only did not visit the practice because it was far from where I live now. But now !! The first ever crown i got literally popped out while I was flossing!! And it's not just that, because I've heard they could put it back on. The issue was it literally decayed from the inside out. Only the top part was good and the rest of the tooth decayed completely without me know what is going on. It was never sensitive or any pain or swelling or anything of the sort that I would get alarmed. I am so emotional because the other dentist said it's literally melted from the inside as if it was not sealed off properly and they had to extract it. I am so emotional at this point and terrified because I have 3 other crowns done from the same place which I fear will end up the same. There is no visible issue I can see but it was the same case with the one that melted from the inside. I called and left a message hoping they can check the other 3 crowns to ensure they don't end up the same way.

I was actually embarrassed my teeth were so dirty, and it had been so long since I had gone. The front desk was great, and made it easy to get signed in. Courtney is an amazing dental hygentist!! She did a great job on my teeth, and is just super nice!! I also thought they were very thorough. They took lots of X-rays and really checked me over. Dentist came in and checked me out, barely had to wait. He was great too! I would highly recommend this place! I know I'm going back for my 6 month cleaning!

Dawn the assistant insured that I was totally numb before Dr Bourne came in to inject the numbing agent. Dr Bourne did 2 injections spaced apart just so I would have zero discomfort while he was grinding down a molar to accept a crown. Entire staff is awesome...

Experiencia negativa: I’m gonna have to give this place a one star I feel like I was rubbed the wrong way when I walked in as a new client ask them if they do cleanings and to set up new service while I’m in town for six months a year. Told me for a cleaning to set up new service. It cost me close to $400. I’m sure they do good service, but I wasn’t really too impressed at the gal in the front maybe she is having a bad day I don’t know. I feel like they didn’t really try too hard to get my business. Or more or less than care if I came in.

Called here to get antibiotics as my tooth was hurting to the point of going. to a liquid diet. Girl on the phone did not care at all. I let her know I was waiting for a waiting period for insurance so I could get the tooth done. Didn't want to hear anything just told me to call Wednesday in a rude manner. My initial service was excellent but when I said I did not have the money to do two teeth is when I got change of service. Sorry lost my house my business and my car in the hurricane. Experiencia positiva: I had an appointment at 7am and arrived on time. The hygienist (title?) did some cleaning and brought me to the front desk to check-out. I pointed out that the appointment was for 2 fillings, and everyone seemed rather surprised, not sure why - even I could see on the computer screen that the fillings were scheduled. I was asked to take a seat in the waiting room, then was led back to have anesthetic injected. I was, again, led back to the waiting room. Finally I was called back to have the fillings done (which was quick and "normal"). The only reason for 3 stars instead of 1 is that the actual work done was quick and efficient.

Also, the water pic was broken, which was a big inconvenience, but she muddled through. I waited 1/2 hour before getting in, which I didn't like.
