Experiencia negativa: I went in to Aspen Dental on Pine Island Road to get a routine cleaning. After examination, they decided I needed a periodontal treatment. The estimate for my insurance came back reasonable at $196, so I consented. When I came back, I was informed that my insurance would not release the benefits. After months of back and forth between insurance and Aspen Dental, it was discovered that Aspen did not turn in the proper documentation. I took the responsibility that Aspen says it commits itself to in its mandatory orientation videos, and instead of leaving with a smile, I was left paying for treatment 90% in full at $1670.50 when I only should have payed 10% with pressure of being taken to collections over Aspen's unwillingness to work with insurance companies. Aspen Dental will walk with you every step of the way...to your bank account.
Experiencia positiva: All together a good visit. A little bit of a cluster getting checked in with several folks having 8am (1st appointments as they open at 8am). I waited patiently in my car till 7.55am then watched 1 person walk in so I followed & there was already 2 people signed in but not checked in. Insurance issue with #1. #2 & I waited patiently… #4 was called in before both of us… #2 and I finally get called in. I waited 25 minutes & was not checked in at that point. I handed my insurance info at the front desk & stated I would settle up afterwards. I think a solution would be to open earlier or stagger appointments by 5 minutes increments or explain the situation at hand as #2 was aggravated. This would avoid confusion as we all are aware how much aggravation insurance can be. I want to be clear that this business has very nice, polite & friendly employees and I will return for those reasons. This is just my opinion looking from the outside when I thought I had the 1st appointment of the day.

Experiencia negativa: I went last April to this location to get my teeth healthy and looking better. The dentist i saw didnt tell me how bad my top teeth were. Pulled a tooth and fit me for a partial. Didnt say it was a temporary and id be getting a more permanent one. Now im in North Carolina and spending more money I could have avoided if he had given me all the information. I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. I have already told my friend in SW Florida not to go here.

Experiencia negativa: Came here from Detroit today as I am away from my normal dentist I chipped a tooth and wanted a cleaning after a five minute exam I was told I have periodontal disease and that the cleaning would be $8143.00 I then called my dentist in Detroit who is also a good friend and she assured me I have the healthiest mouth around . What a joke you are and now have to wait two weeks for them to hand over my x rays . When the doctor actually examined me he said how great my gums and existing crowns looked lol

Experiencia negativa: I paid for all my services up front and settled my balances before each procedure. Now nearly 2 months later I am receiving a bill of $576 for antibiotics. Tried to call the office but was redirected to someone in New York who was impossible to understand. Explanation of costs and insurance coverage was not explained transparently, they gave me a bill and said that's all I would have to pay. Now, I have gotten another bill from Aspen for $576, and another from my insurance for almost $3,000 out of nowhere. I would've spread out services or elected to not do some treatments had they been transparent. The finance lady also ran my credit without my approval, she gave me the total and ran my credit and then gave me 30% apr loan terms when I never asked or suggested I wasn't going to pay up front. *Their reply saying that they would have a customer service representative reach out was just them sending an automated email of how much I owe them.* Very disappointed, I expect more out of healthcare professionals.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist and staff were nice and all but the problem I went for couldn't be resolved without seeing another dentist there for a diagnosis which I was going to do but I was never given a follow up appointment I guess it was because I wouldn't commit to over 11k dollars of dental procedures before my problem was even diagnosed. I never experienced anything like that before. Bizarre

Sometimes a specialist can have a different opinion or experience that might benefit the patient. Experiencia negativa: Had a tooth break out of a denture. Told them this when I made a appointment. Go to the appointment. I told her no insurance. Out of pocket. She asks me for my driver's licence which was weird. Did I not say no insurance. Hands me a tablet to fill out forms and im like whats all this about. I only need a tooth put back on a denture. Says I've never been to Aspen so I have to fill out forms for a visit. At that point I said I dont need a visit. What I need is a tooth on a denture. Put my hand out and took my licence back and left.
Experiencia negativa: You are not treated as a patient it seems like your are a customer and they were only interested in your money . The whole staff is Spanish and very hard to understand them especially when they have a mask on . Never ever will go back and would never recommend anyone to go there .
Experiencia fantástica: I had a crown come off over the weekend. I was not a patient but had heard good things about Aspen Dental and gave them a call on Monday morning. They were able to work me in and took care of my issue promptly and professionally. I am now a patient, and my wife made an appointment as well while we were there. Thanks to the doctors and the staff for a great experience.
Experiencia fantástica: Incredible experience! First time having to get work done on my teeth. All of the staff was professional and courteous. They had great flexibility and was able to squeeze me in for my extractions that same day. A tremendous shout out to the doctor and his team. Ill be back for sure, thank you so much.
