Experiencia negativa: Didn't like the dentist at all. Not worried about patients only worried about charging higher prices for something I didn't ask for at all. I won't be coming back again. Front desk ladies was very nice.

Experiencia negativa: SCAM. My first visit. I requested an exam and cleaning. 2 hours to have an exam and rads. I am not exaggerating. Then, I was told to sit in a holding tank for 35 min. I was about to walk out when a lady sat me down to discuss a $500 payment that my dental insurance wouldn't cover. This included a $79 cavity filling (totally fine) and some kind of crazy cleaning. That nutty service would need to be scheduled another time. I asked if I could please have the routine cleaning I came in for, that's covered by my insurance. They were confused by my request, but would go inquire about it. They came back and said they would fit it in if I would wait. I was put back in the holding tank. My teeth were finally cleaned and my day ruined. Over three hours of my life I will never get back. My husband was told he needed an extraction and an even more expensive cleaning, totally $2800 out of pocket, not covered by insurance. It felt like a dirty used car lot and I was really uncomfortable. Maybe this works for some people, but not me. I prefer the private practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t tell you how satisfied I am. We have been through so much with my husband’s dentures. Affordable Dentures charged us $11000 for some fake looking, ill fitting dentures that broke into pieces in less than a year. Then when we went back to have them fixed and they blamed the break on my husband and charged us over $400 for the fix. The dentures proceeded to break 3 more times in the span of a year and a half before we found Aspen Dental. On our first visit to Aspen we were impressed, but cautious. They assured us that the dentures are guaranteed and if we were unhappy for any reason we could get our money back. We decided to move forward since he was essentially without teeth. To our amazement, the price of the new dentures was way LESS THAN HALF of what we had paid for the first pair. During the wax process when they make trial dentures to try on to make sure that you like them, they took them back 3 times to make sure that we were completely happy with the look and fit. The other place never did that even once. ASPEN made sure that we were completely happy before they proceeded to make the dentures. Fast forward to try-on day. Time went by and my insurance changed… this is 1 week after the new year. The new insurance didn’t cover the dentures. I’m sick just knowing that this is going to be thousands. When Dr. Robert Iulo came in he said, “I heard about your insurance. I am going to write a narrative to the original insurance company that made the original claim and explain the situation. Hopefully they will concede to pay. If they don’t, we will right it off. You won’t be held responsible for the difference.” I was floored. I have never experienced such graciousness before. This is definitely the best treatment we have ever received from a “business.” Not to mention my husband looks like his old self again and he can say “S’s” without a lisp! LOL

I told him I've been wearing them for over 20yrs and I didn't want that and hid attention changed and it was very inpersonal. Then u go to check out the girl at the desk pulls out a very very costly plan. I told her don't waste her time. A waste of time for me.

She must wait another three years before she can get the insurance to pay for dentures again. I know some people have reported good service from them but that’s because it’s like a fast food restaurant it’s all franchises! So some locations might be good while others like the one in Charleston SC in the West Ashley area are nothing but con artists ! So I strongly suggest you look elsewhere as Aspen Dental may rip you off as well.

Every visit anywhere else left me gripping the chair like I was preparing for atmospheric re-entry. But then I walked into Dr. Iulo’s office. Instead of terror, I was greeted with warm smiles. Instead of dread, I found myself strangely…relaxed. The staff chatted with me like I wasn’t a flight risk, and Dr. Iulo explained everything so clearly that I forgot to panic. Before I knew it, the appointment was over—and I was actually smiling.

Jade took me back and put me at ease during my scanning and x-rays. I have huge tori's but Jade got me through this step with such compassion. Kat then took over and she was extremely professional and knowledgeable. After meeting Dr. Iulo, I was convinced that becoming a new patient of this practice was a good decision. Experiencia negativa: This place is an absolute scam. I had dental work done there nothing but a tooth extraction and a cap. With insurance, took out a $2,000 loan to cover the difference. They charge me an extra 50 bucks that I paid, that they said wasn't covered under insurance, tryed to charging me another $250 saying it wasn't covered under insurance. Then sent an almost $900 bill to collections almost two years later.

They were not transparent about what things would cost and charged me for things I didn’t consent to. I didn’t think they were considerate of patient’s time or efficient for busy people.

Experiencia negativa: The office personnel and the doctor who assisted has the customer service mannerisms of a rock. First the office personnel gave me the wrong product. Did not apologize then told me the doctor will see you now and I wanted to know for what? She tells me she want to check the fit for gluing a tooth back and starts to pu the product in my mouth with no apology for the error that was made . She just looked at me. What is wrong with these two is not for me to know but if this type of customer service continues on a daily basis I can see us waving goodbye. Mistakes are made would it hurt to apologize when you make them not look at the customer as if she has lost her mind I would rate zero if I could. Front office reception very helpful .

Experiencia negativa: Where do I start I have very bad dental anxiety that cause me to feel faint so I have to take medication to help me! The dentist didn't send the prescription over Andy the lady at the front with the attitude with every question you ask yeah anyways told.me I would have to reschedule mine you I have a access tooth been had it since Friday when I went to the er because they were closed! She told me she couldn't send my meds in because it would take hours to full! I waited in the lobby area for over a hour and cvs the pharmacy was 3minutes away! Andy had not a care in this world about my anxiety! Im in so much pain and also have flash backs of just getting my tooth pulled! She didn't care! Please get a better staff who cares about the patients especially sensitive patients!

Third: I got everything handled and got helped with registration because I was in so much pain. Fourth: My ex Ray technician was very polite and patient with me because of the pain. Fifth: The Dentist who was assigned to me. Was very patient, polite, entertaining, concern and very educated about what was going on in my mouth . He was very understanding and very comfortable to talk to. Sixth: Miss Sakina. The only individual who introduced herself to me, upon greeting me with her name. I think that was very professional. I don't know none of the others name. Nor did they tell me. But it's okay. They still were very nice and professional. Sakina was very helpful. She continued to look for my insurance and then proceeded to go further. She figured out the problem and solved it. Coming up with another solution and came out successfully. She also help me figured out a way to pay for my services after she came to the conclusion that my insurance doesn't cover Dental. She got me all squared away and I am having my procedure. Thanks so much Sakina for everything. I don't know how I would have managed this morning with out her help. So polite patient and understanding. That is the key to helping others in need. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Robert Iulo at Aspen Dental is a SHEER GENIOUS!!! A TRUE MASTER OF DENISTRY! I have been coming to him for years and will travel to wherever he is. I am in the Medical field and was so fortunate to have him. He did extractions on my broken teeth and the procedure was painless. Normally , only an Oral Surgeon would have been able to achieve these positive results. I can't rave enough about Dr. Robert Iulo. Aspen Dental is so lucky to have him! The BEST!

Experiencia negativa: When I first visited aspen dental the Consultation was phenomenal. But after I had paid for dentures I have been having the worst experience ever. They seem to care more about the money than patients. They tell you this and add on new issues about your mouth every time you go back for adjustments alignments or what ever coming to other conclusions in order to charge you even more money. They even same to have a exceptional employee turnover rate. There's always new people working on your mouth most of the time seemingly inexperience and they are super expensive with no warranty on any work they do. They take no responsibility for their actions. Everything is the patient's mouth fault after the you've bee charged for one thing. Make the you do your research as well as getting several consults before committing to Aspen.

This location made me feel comfortable, made the pain manageable, and totally affordable. They finance so it can also build your credit. I love my appointments, I love my new smile and they always make me feel so welcomed. I don't mind that I live 20 miles away, I'll even pass up other locations from the same franchise to come to THIS particular location. Tiana at the front desk was very kind, helpful, and got me seen by Dr. Haase asap. Dr. Haase worked fast to figure out the source of my pain, and broke down what procedures are needed to be done to get my teeth back in order efficiently. The entire team is awesome and even though it’s not going to be fun getting my tooth pulled, I know I’ll be taken care of and in good hands. 10/10 highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: If you can afford to go somewhere else I would. I didn’t want to make this review but every so often I think about how terrible I was treated here. I was a regular customer who came here for Invisalign, wisdom teeth removal and regular cleanings. They filed my wisdom teeth removal insurance claims incorrectly to my insurance provider and then attempted to make me pay for the entire procedure. My insurance company only needed my X-rays to approve payment. Aspen dental lost my X-rays and my records so they could not send the X-rays to my provider. They held my Invisalign as ransom for payment. I never got my Invisalign from them even though I paid upfront for my Invisalign. They owe me money but the district manager ignores my calls. I am sadden by my experience here and just caution that it may not be best place to go if you don’t want to be taken advantage of.
